If I could give negative stars I would! Horrible place to live. Staff is no help. Scorpions abound. Burn marks on counter tops. Cats ALL over the place. I found hair stuck in the paint where you could tell nobody cleaned prior to painting.....gross. When you move out they make you do paint touch up.....make sure you bring your own container AND let them know the color (I never changed the color and they asked me what it was.....there are many shades of tan.....they gave me the wrong one).

I had a bad experience with the office staff they never answered and are always rude plus their is ROACHES ! I dont reccomend

Just moved here from out of state and I love it. I pay extra for the remodeled unit and it’s well worth it. Im a single parent of 3 and my kids enjoy it as well and it’s very spacious. I don’t have to lug my kids and all the laundry to any laundromat with the full size washer and dryers they have. I give it 4 stars only because I have some loud neighbors but it’s an apt so it’s not gonna be perfect. Overall, great experience and look forward to making many new memories with my kids here.

It takes up 5 calls to get the front office to answer calls. The landscaping people will do work as early as 6 in the morning right by your window! They shut off the water without notice for work maintenance! There’s other things that bother me about this place but these are my main erks about this place.

Lived here for about a year now and our lease is about to end. Unfortunately we need something bigger as we have pets. We are also looking for somewhere closer to work. Im going to miss feeding the stray cats near the dumpster. Lol

Worst customer service. I went there and they said there was 1 apartment available for 1 room. So me and my girlfriend took a tour and in the end we decided to get it. So we did the paper work and everything, we were there for 2 hours. So everything was good, we were excited to move in. So we went to get money order and as soon as we go back to pay the fees. They tell me that the apartment was taken. So all the time we wasted and paperwork was for nothing. I don’t understand why they said it was available and then say it wasn’t available. Worse customer service.

I called to inquire about pricing and availabilitY everything sounded nice. When I called back 15 min later and said the prices that were quoted to me did not reflect on the website I was told I spoke to someone in customer service they don’t know. So your basically saying your company does not communicate well and it your customers fault. Whatever so I was like fine I will still apply and come to find out their website is not accurate either. This is a poorly ran business and does not take ownership in any incorrect information given.

Ive been here for about 6 months and so far I havent had any issues with this complex. I recommend this place for people that want flooring in their apartment, I got an upgraded one downstairs with everything pretty much brand new. My wife loved that we got our own washer and dryer too.

I just moved in on 3/6 and I must say Im very happy with my 1 bedroom apartment. The cleanliness, the appliances and everything works as it should! The pup and I enjoy every minute here. And look forward to many years here!

This complex is huge,hundreds of apartments. The parking lots are usually clean,the landscaping is kept up,the apartment Ive been to was pretty nice,I expected the rents to be a lil higher than they are for a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. Dont know about any of the staff,they do have security at night.There is alot of feral cats running around and the smell of cat pee can get pretty overwhelming at times,do management needs to address this issue soon.

I have to say, the fire overnight was such an unfortunate scary situation for the poor family and us around them but The manager Esmeralda and the regional supervisor Joesph went above and beyond for my neighbors and I which makes me one proud person to live here. the supervisor had his people in there to check out and fix some of the damage within hours of us talking to them and he was working completely around my neighbors schedules and super understanding of everything going on and worked with all of us around the apartment to still make sure we were comfortable and safe. The manager is taking great care of us AND offering to help move my neighbor so she doesn’t have to scramble to get movers! You always hear the nightmare stories about companies who leave people to fend for themselves but heers management has gone above and beyond through this unexpected event

I moved in a month ago and worked with Emily, very nice ladies in the office by the way.The prices are great for upgraded units, the grey flooring I got is super modern. I also love that I have my own washer and dryer.

Figured Id balance out the fake positive reviews with a negative one... the ladies who work at the front desk clearly wrote those reviews 😂.... I will be moving into an apartment in the next few weeks, however, I am crossing this one off my list because of the fake positive reviews that were clearly written by people that work there....

Things were great the first year, about to complete year two .. the parking is a joke, roads are a joke, been driving in and out of here on loose dirt and gravel for a while now, notices about fixing the roads are also another joke . It’s been almost two or three times when I go ask for an air filter “we don’t have any at the time” same for entrance gate key card “well have some in a couple weeks” . Went In about a month or two ago to tell them about the paint chipping in the bathtub and if they could repaint or do whatever they do to fix it “I can look into for you” but still chipping away. Now let’s talk scorpions ! My daughter was stung last month, I did have to take her to ER and yes she is fine, I did mention this to the office and said they’ll send someone to “spray” . That was a month or so ago . Finally someone came in while I was out of town on vacation to spray last week . last night I had a little friend come crawling out of the air vent, it’s like I would rather have spiders than scorpions ! But our scorpion friend just quickly crawled back into the vents before I could grab a cup to catch it :) please fix you guys, I can’t afford these hospital visits and replacing my shocks and worn out tires anymore

I have had my share of cons about this place however I will say that Ashley, Katrina and Esmeralda are really neat people and have gone above their jobs description to help me when I need it so yes the apartment could be better but I cant say youll receive these ladies anywhere else. Thank you to the 3 women who go above with compassion for those who take tge time to talk with them.

I was scheduled a 2pm appointment to view one of the units. After driving 45 minutes to get there I was told they didnt have me scheduled that corporate scheduled me and they did not have anyone to show me the unit. The girl offered no solution nor did she try to get me scheduled. Red flag. Ill take my business elsewhere. Horrible customer service.

Ive lived at the Cove for going on 7 months, and its been the best experience. Maintenance is always kind, and get everything done in such a quick manner. The front office staff, is fantastic. Ashlee, Neida, Indira and Karina are amazing at always answering any questions Ive ever had and make everything so easy!

Front office staff is very kind and informative and maintenance crew is always so friendly. This complex is always well taken care of, this is my first apartment and I feel like I made such a good choice to join this community.

The new luxury apartments are amazing. I recently moved to this state and was referred to this beautiful community. I am quite pleased to be here.

I pay on time every month, I’m kind to the ladies in the office, I have manners, ask or expect nothing, but the minimum. I handle pest on my own, low expectations for this place. However, I have been met with dismissal and poor tone and service when I have asked for the necessary help to repair basic things. I live in a new unit with new floors that they charge extra for, which is fine, but I have a leak from my AC for the last 6 months, have asked the office to have it fixed two different times and no one has come by(your employees fault for any water damage that ensues) I have asked for a screen that did not come with the apartment and that was never provided. My garbage disposal just stopped worked and though I was told that it would be taken care of, it has not. On top of that my dishwasher is holding water. I have asked and petitioned for the repairs, been a good renter, an absolute pleasure and I have been met with negligence, dismissal and attitude. I am a professional who can pay rent 6 times over a month and I am shown not even basic concern or urgency to help. I will be filing a complaint with the county and ideally escalating to cause this property unconvinced beyond my own. Good luck “Herrs management”, perhaps we will resolve in court and perhaps you will be forced to sell rather than reap the benefits of gentrification of the area through increased rent and better tenants. Maybe I’ll see you on the news after I alert local media of the treatment and poor health environment that you have knowingly created for my children and of an upstanding customer and community member. I only live here, because it’s close to the mother of my children and have separated. Not one of the many people squatting and exceeding fire safety occupancy codes that can hardly afford rent. Im trying to be patient and polite. I work in customer service as well. But these apartments are a joke. I can hear my neighbor beat her kids. The roads are all messed up like this for 2 months. Then get a notice saying we need to find parking for our vehicles or they will be towed. When they repair there mess. I have asked for my screen door to be fixed several times. Still laying on my patio floor. When I shower there is an orange residue on walls. So weird and creepy. Dee in the office is great and understanding but you have horrible customer services for the rest of the office staff.

I dont live here and Im glad I dont. Just the small interaction I had with the office made me realize I didnt want to live in these apartments. I called the phone number ON THEIR WEBSITE and spoke with someone about looking at an apartment. She quoted prices and stated they had availability, so I made an appointment to do a walk through then NEXT morning. When I got to the office, I stated I had an appointment and the the person in the office said we dont have any appointments. Then she asked what kind of apartment I was looking for and when I answered she quite rudely said we dont have anything available right now. She then gave me prices which were way above what I was told over the phone the day before. I explained this to her and she said well you called our Customer Service number and they dont know anything about our prices or availability. So for those of you, looking if you call the number on their website just know that the information they give you is not accurate at all!

Moving back here with my Family we had move out to move to their new location at Avalon it was nice apartments but when they sold the property it turn out to be the worst management ever they complain more then what the residents did lol. So now my lease is ending thank god im moving back to the cove closer to my job and closes to the mall giving them 5 stars if i can i give them 10 or even more 🥳🥳🥳

They paint a nice picture when you walk through but they were just masking the many flaws. When we moved in our AC was broken, the dryer is broken, the freezer doesnt work properly, and the stove is broken. No one comes to fix it, they just right it off and never give you a copy of the reported incidents. Parking is atrocious theres junk cars left in open spots so youre left to park on the side of the road. The gates surrounding always malfunction so you have to drive all the way around. You cant go for a nice walk without seeing a large dog poop and theres supposed to be a weight limit on pets in the first place. Also theres abandoned cats around every corner hissing and marking up your windshields. Location isnt the best because every time a concert sets up next door weirdos fill the complex. Absolutely no privacy but thats expected being directing next to, above, or beneath another tenant. I could go on with more issues but I think Ive made my point. We wish now that we would have headed the warning from other reviews before we signed the lease. Needless to say, you get what you pay for.

WARNING!!!! CANCEL YOUR APPLICATION WITHIN 24 HOURS OR YOU WILL BE OUT OF ANY DEPOSITS! I guess Ashley in the office does not know her job! I’m out of about $200 cause I decided not to move in, to an apartment I had to wait almost two months for. I was being told by about four different people when I would be refunded, first within a few days, then up to 14 days only to find out a week later now I won’t be refunded. I guess me filling out paperwork and providing documentation was worth $200 of their time. Toni in the corporate office and I believe the bookkeeper name is Esmerelda are extremely rude!!

If I could give them a 0/5 I would! If you can get in contact with the people at the front desk, they have no customer service skill. From my appliances not working when I moved in, the roads being destroyed for months, and the street cat infestation.... it’s been a nightmare. Today I reported a hornets nests that’s been growing in front of my neighbor’s door for a couple of weeks. I was told that for them to take care of it I’d have to pay for pest control!! If you have the options stay as far away from this place as possible.

Weve enjoyed living here for the last year. No major complaints, maintenance services our requests in a timely manner. Love the laminate floors and split floorplan. Neighbors get loud on the weekend, but I dont mind.

I’m not understanding the low ratings but I’ve enjoyed living in this complex. The location is great. Right between the 10 and 101, Westgate, Crossing at Tolleson, Walmart, Mall etc etc. the apartments were a good price when I moved in a year ago. Not sure what they are now. I will not be renewing my lease but only because I’m downsizing and moving closer to work. The front office staff was super patient with me in terms of a couple of times when I was late with rent. They were never rude about it when I communicated it to them. They were always friendly when I walked in. So I think for those of you that have low ratings you guys weren’t the greatest of tenants and out yourselves in that position. I on the other hand think that the The Cove is a great place to live. Yes it took time for them to fix the parking lot but it got fixed and it’s done. I haven’t seen any roaches or scorpions in my unit. Not 1 in the whole year I’ve been here so I also don’t understand when people say that. So I’m recommending The Cove. Everybody has their own experience, mine was a great one.

This was my first Apartment home and I loved it!!! The Apartment was spacious, maintenance was always done on time, the neighbors never bothered and the community was well maintained. The only complain I have is in regards to parking, there was very few spaces against the number of vehicles on property.

The parking lot its been like this for almost 2 months. I need to know whats going on my son has asthma and is getting him sick with all the dust. I asked the office staff and they gave me attitude regarding that so we need answers we can even watch our cars they get dirty so quick the suspension of my car is getting ruined so we do need answers  you guys expect us to pay rent on time but you guys dont fix the problem we need answers at least leave us a note letting  everybody know whats going on this is ridiculous..

I am a very thankful resident of the Cove Apts. and very satisfied with the quality. I moved into the complex on Aug 1st I had recently been divorced and was in a rush to find a place and was running out of time I was driving home from work and saw this place . I pulled in and popped in side the employees were so kind and understanding and found what I was looking for and their concerns were more about what I needed. They showed me the places and took their time, explained all that they had to offer and .got me started on the paper work and in I moved. I really like the gym and pool here, they keep it really clean and their landscaping is beautiful. I would recommend this place to any one. Im really thankful for all the staff.

I personally dont have an issue with management, yes sometimes it take a while for someone to come fix any issue with the apartment but its a big campus. My issue is with security. Ive tried contacting them by the number given by the office, but no answer. Ive got two vehicles vandalized in the past year and no one wants to own up to it. My fellow neighbors had also their vehicles vandalized even stolen. In the past 3 years Ive been living here I have only see security roaming around at night maybe 3-4 times. Once just sitting next to the pool on his phone. This is a problem that needs to be addressed NOW. I understand things like this happen, some people have malicious intent towards someone elses property but it shouldnt be an excuse for anybody not to do what is right. Im not asking for monetary retribution from management. I just want as many other fellow neighbors from this community to have this issue addressed ASAP. Its not fair we cannot feel safe for ourselves and or our property in a place we call home. Please dont let this go unnoticed.

Update. Originally I had a few issues and the office staff seemed to have attitudes but time has went along and for the most part things aren’t too bad. Decided to renew my lease. New girls in the office are nicer than the others too. Would like to see the treadmills fixed in gym if they haven’t already been fixed the belts snag at running speed it’s dangerous

I live here and Im happy, the staff has always been on top of any work order I submit. I havent had any trouble with anyone here and havent had any scorpions in my unit but I do get sprayed once/month for preventative reasons. It doesnt cost me anything because they have someone thats here every Wednesday. I have noticed the cats but they leave me alone so not a problem. The unit itself is great, love the split floorplan.

I lived at the Cove from Dec, 2017-Jan, 2019. It was a decent place to live, as far as the actual apartment itself, however, the management was a different story. They were very snarky, and unprofessional in how they dealt with people. Maintenance requests would usually go unanswered for upwards of a week or 2, and they cant manage the property. They had the parking lot torn up in October, 2018 for a repaving project they said would take a couple of weeks, and it lasted that way until January, 2019. I would suggest steering clear of any Heers management communities, especially the Cove.

First off let me say I was impressed at the presentation they put on when you inquire about these apartments. But, no where in that presentation did they say that maintenance hardly spoke English (no racism, I am Hispanic myself), take forever to reply to a work order, fixed apartments half A**, and just because you werent home when they came, then never come back for the work order. The people in the office are unprofessional, they need to be trained in the subject of their work, you put in a work order and it never gets done. For example, I called put in a work order for my closet shelf, then my wife goes into the office and told a young male dont recall his name, he states he will put in the work order and we call the office after a week and there was never a work order put in, so then we put in the work order again for the third time. I mean come on 3times before it gets done. This apartment management is a joke. My apartment stinks of cat urine, I dont even have a cat, my family is allergic. My carpet when I moved in was/is disgusting. My walls were patched up because of previous owner had holes in the walls. The toilet seat paint is peeling and rusted. My neighbors are so LOUD!!! Up and Down the stair all hours of the night. NO SECURITY WHAT SO EVER. This has to be the worst place to live. I literally cant even use my oven to cook anything everything burns. My heater can not be run because it makes the smoke alarms go off in my apartment. Its my mistake for not researching these apartments before hand. Not to mention I live next to the pool, people in there until 12 oclock at night. Being loud, my daughter being awakened because of loud people. Constant smells of marijuana surrounding the place, the other night there were 2 guys fighting each other with kids and women screaming to stop right at the end of my stairs. My gate cards dont work, I have went to get them reactivated 3x already. The employees care more about socializing and flirting with maintenance than their job. I have never had an issue with the manager, just the girls in the office.****UPDATE**** They are replacing my carpet and helping with repairs, but, meantime still waiting for maintenance. Manager is sweet and apologized for all the issues. Very understanding.

Ive lived here for 5 months almost an havnt had an issue at all. Found one scorpion thats it . But other then that Its very quiet and maintenance fulfills all request in timely matter . The office staff is nice to me and my only issue is only one parking space . But other then that I moved here from del Mar terrace which is by far the worst an knowing this is the sister community of them Im surprised! An definitely am a happy renter an will be renewing my lease once this one is up ! An this is coming from a very picky person .

Idk why everyone has issues with this place . Management it outstanding and always available there when you need them. where else can you find this comfort and affordable place with all the amenities you need in an apartment..? the choice is yours

Not professional they let people sign leases for other folks whom have bad backgrounds. At least confirm with the previous apartments/landlords before letting people sign leases to confirm if they moved out or not. Its not fair

Its a horrible place to live. The day we moved in, we opened the door and the entire apartment was filled with roaches. It took a month and a half to get it even somewhat under control. It takes 3 to 4 requests to get maintenance to actually come look at anything wrong and they almost never fix it right the first time. We had problems with them not properly crediting our rent payments. They tore up the parking lot in October with promises that it would be repaved and completed by the end of the month. Its June now and they are just now almost done. Our car was broken into 5 times over the last year and a half because one of the gates is broken and they refuse to fix it because Its been broken so long it would confused people if we did. Worst mistake we ever made and we are so happy to be leaving!

I am very dissapointed in this place. When I first visited, I looked at the model and I loved it. They said that it would be a little different from my apartment (no wood floors and no granite counter tops). When I first moved in, I was shocked at just HOW different it was. I felt like there must have been a mistake. I wish I looked at the ACTUAL apartment like mine, and not a model that is totally not near what I have. The first week, I noticed that my glass door to the porch was not closing or locking, and I put in a maintenance order about 5 times in the next week, along with an AC order because it was making loud clanking sounds everytime all the time. The ladies kept saying, It will be done tomorrow or sooner. But obviously, its been weeks and it was only until I told them that if something happens because it is not locked, such as a break in, they are liable because they did nothing. They FINALLY fixed both things, but I was very disappointed that it took them that long and that much effort to simply fix something as important as that. The mailbox is above my head, so I have to stand on my tiptoes just to unlock it, let alone look inside it. If I am lucky there might be another tenant or stranger there to help me. When I brought this up to the front desk, they said just to bring a step stool. I am paying a lot of money to live here and the last thing I want to do is lug around a step stool across the complex everyday just to check my mail. Are you kidding?! The paint on the walls have clumps on them and there is paint on the panels and window sills. Very messy and not professional at all. I am very unhappy about being here and do not plan on staying unless something is done. I dont feel like they accommodate in anyway for people who are not average height or anything else. Not to mention, there is no recycling. That is a bummer. >:( I would NOT AT ALL recommend this place so far, and I have only been here for not even 2 months!!!

RUN! These apartments are just the worst! My experience was never great from the moment we got our keys. we walked in and the carpet was stained. the carpet was super hard. And there were holes on the floor that were covered by the carpet. And they apartment was infested with Scorpions! The pest control is only available on Wednesday’s and you can only have them over once a month. The walls are like paper, you can hear everything. The apartment was NOTHING compared to the model. It was the biggest catfish. The apartments never felt like home. The neighbors we got complained about any noise that we made but when we would try to complain back the office people would just stare at us and say to just try to not have contact and to live more quietly. But they never got a notice on their door like we did. The apartment complex’s it’s self was a catfish. Everything from the front is nicely trimmed and clean but the back is not even cared for . The trash is always overfilled to the point where people just start putting trash on the sides. The roads have been messed up since October 2018. But the flyers they put up said it would be done by October. there’s pot holes EVERYWHERE. What if my tires got air bubbles? They said they weren’t going to pay for new ones, that It wasn’t there fault. Well I didn’t f***king sign up to live in an area with f***ked up roads either. If one pool was opened the other was closed. And they were always extremely dirty. we had a leaking issue occurred and the Emergency Maintenance lines never picked up we had to wait overnight till the office opened to have it fixed. And all they did was take off the sponge of the carpet and put a blower. It’s been 3 days since that happened and still not fixed. My friend also lives here as her mother is always wanting to fight the office ladies lol because they can never do anything about any problems. I wouldn’t recommend these apartments. Don’t do it. They are no where near great.

Run! Dont even bother moving here. Dont do it. Ive been here for 4 yrs and Ive seen it all . My personal experience theres been bed bugs, roach infestations my apt was ransacked. Something breaks and takes maintenance a month to come out.security gates are always broken. Roads have been messed up since October of this year and still hasnt been fixed. In October 2018 there was a flood of sewer water in my kids room, November 2018 another flood with sewer water apparently they didnt bother to fix the issues with plumbing the first time thats not all its now December 2018 and guess what another flood yay! Just this week my brother left his car here and some petty little thief stole his battery. Security is a big issue here. So yeah luckily I am moving out feel bad for the next person who decides to move in this apt complex. Also, make sure you get renters insurance, youll definitely need it the way they run things. Its been hell!

This place deserves a ZERO star, I would not recommend ANYONE TO MOVE TO THIS PLACE EVER CONSIDER TO. They say that they will give you your deposit back as long as the holes were covered, and if any doors had holes if you patch it up and covered them and paint over it they would return your money back. I had my dads truck for a one day and got what I could out of the apartment I left a bag of cans and plastic bottles for recycle and a bbq grill on the balcony. they charged me from my deposit $200 just to take the bags of cans and plastic bottles and bbq grill. they charged me $75 supposedly door repair when it already was repaired. they charged me $200 of damages in the apartment when I have pictures to prove that the apartment was clean and spotless. I will take them to court file a lawsuit to get my money back. because the pictures I took do not show $200 worth of damages. I got the bill with the break down and I followed everything they told me to do including cleaning the carpets I paid $80 out of my pocket for it they only returned $195 to me. my Total security deposit was $500. Please do not RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!

If your looking for an apartment complex stay far away from this place. They advertise this being a gated community the back gate on Virgina hasn’t closed in over 7 months. Cars in and out all hours of the night loud music people parking on Virginia walking in the parking lot as well.. We’ve contacted the front office and all they say is they are working on it.. We even contacted the Heers management company and it’s still broken. Doesn’t seem to be any sense of urgency they aren’t worried about the well being or safety of their tennants..

Management and office staff are terrible, you can tell they just want to take your money each month when rent is collected and move on. Even though maintenance requests are done in a timely manner, they are done with very low standards. When I moved in; stove, oven, dryer and refrigerator/freezer ALL did not work. I have since needed work done on my freezer 4 times before just deciding to buy the necessary parts to fix it myself. In addition, it is terribly insect infested. I have had my unit pest controlled twice and it has not gotten any better. Be aware that when you take a tour of the units on the first visit, they will show you the best unit with all the upgrades and it is nothing like the actual unit you will rent. I cant wait till my lease is up to get the heck out of this place.

I ONLY give it one star because the office staff are always very rude and it seems like their policies are always changing daily. Weve had a lot of issues with them and theybdont do what they need to do get them resolved. I am very upset and sadly cant wait to move. Maintenance sucks and there are scorpions galore. Its a nice place and okay enviroment otherwise just think the office staff needs to be trained on professionalism and their own policies.

Worst place to live!!!The apartments look nice, and everything seems perfect about them when looking . The neighborhood is not to bad no bugs, and the rent is affordable as well . Though after living in the apartments for a few months we have had the worst experiences!Everything in the apartment is falling apart. My roof is now leaking, and well trying to get someone to come fix it well that is another story either the maintenance team has no clue what they are doing or there is no just no communication between them, and the office all I get is the run around. My roof has been leaking, and No one has fixed it for over a Month. My water heater started leaking just now, and water came through the walls into my apartment ruined many of my belongings, my Christmas tree was plugged in and if i hadnt gotten home any sooner there may have been a fire! The rent keeps going up and it is getting nearly impossible to afford living here any longer. Also my upstairs neighbors stomp consistently. We have gone to the office and they still do it. We are going to the office again. I hope they do something about this asap because I have a small child who gets woken up because they stomp all day long. If I could afford to move I would be gone.

U people better do something about these scorpions because there are children n I promise u if one of my kids get bit all hell is gonna brake loose

My friends live there and they have no complains and I went there and no complains just a lot of cats but thats okay for me at least

The manager is very very rude... the place its nice but management knows nothing about customer service. It makes me angry the way my elderly mother was treated by the manager she is a very rude lady. They sent us to court for a mistake they made. You would think they would be nice about the situation

These apartments honestly suck, its expensive as hell, no security, and the office members are not professional at all. If your looking for a place where you can get your car stolen, have an over flowing and leaking toilet, dents in your vehicles,than this is the place. Save yourself the trouble and the money, there are cheaper and better options than these apartments.

Im very disappointed with the leasing office at the Cove apartments. I gave money to hold an apartment, then only a day later I tried calling, and calling to cancel the deal, but no one answered any of my calls and didnt reply to any of my voicemails! I hope to recover what is rightfully mine! I made the effort to do whats right and remain civil about it Im hoping your office does the same and please refund my money it would help your reputation.

When I first moved here everything was kinda ok. Management was alot better and more competent. Its not that way anymore. They are rude and condescending. Rent has gone up 20% where as market value has not inflated that much for subpar aparrments for the value. Steer yourselves towards a cardboard box over this place. Also of ypu have small ones, be prepared for scorpions and yellow jackets.

I have to agree with alot of these negative comments, Iv only been living here a few months and I cant wait for my lease to b over to move out, if i could afford it I would break my lease and move!!!! First morning here woke up to my down stairs neighbors arguing at 5AM then a day into the apartment at 11pm some idiot out in the parking lot reving there engine and doing burn outs in the parking and all the rubber smell came into my apartment, this stuff has happened several time day and night. The kids around here also the parents have no control of them n let them run wild, there running up and dwn the stairs bangging on the railing of the stairs, there outside burning paper n the mother outside watching them not saying anything there out there cursing, getting in the dumpsters getting stuff out of there throwing it around, the kids r VERY destructive n no manners. The kids throw stuff on top the cover parking and there climbing on top vehicles to get up on top and the vehicles r other residents. The apartments looked very nice but now that Im here I so cant wait to move out of here, Im counting my days, if i could break my lease with no penalties I would!!! I also agree with the parking there r cars that r n have been sitting out in the parking lot n u can tell they have not been used in a VERY long time also I get up n leave at 415 AM n I have to walk across out on the street by the field early in the AM and its very dangerous for anyone n there times ppl r there just sitting in there vehicles in the middle of the night, u dont kno if they could b trying to break into ppl vehicles or waiting for some to hurt them. I believe something does need to b done, I also feel that these apartments are not safe either. I feel like I live in the ghetto!!!! I believe action does need to take place instead of saying thing r getting done, actions speak louder than words!!!

Ive lived here for about maybe 3-4 months and let me start by saying that parking SUCKS. At night its VERY difficult to find a parking spot if youve got more than one vehicle. Something REALLY needs to be done about this issue. Im a girl who happens to work late at night, so parking far away from my apartment at night is very scary and dangerous. Maintenance also is terrible! Ive had called them twice and takes them literally weeks and maybe months to get a small job done. When they be riding their little golf cars around doing absolutely nothing. Its not a one time thing, thats why Im mentioning it. Also, the back gate sucks at night because its close and cant even open it with the key they gave us. Like I dont see no point on the card, after that. Since it just makes us go aaaall the way around to the other entrance. Some of us are tired and just wanna get home. I think Im paying to much for so little service. So PLEASE! Do something about this issues!!

These apartments are full of lies and deception. They will trick you in the begining with an upgraded model but dont be suprised if you get an apartment full of animal urine. When I was rented my apartment they told me they didnt do walk-throughs that I could sign my lease, and then go look at my apartment and if there was any problems I could put it on the work form and they would fix it. My unit smelled so bad of cat and human urine that I couldnt live there and it took them 9 days before they got me a new unit. After that, they put me in a unit where the dishwasher and washer didnt work, both shower sprayed on the ceiling, and to top it off its infested with roaches. For a month now I have been battling with the office to get them to take care of the bugs. They have refuse to follow through, im a month in and I still have not had the apartment bombed. When I finally talked to the manager Esmeralda, she told me it was not her problem and that if I didnt like it I could come to the office and she could terminate my lease leaving me homeless instead of fixing the bugs. The roaches have been found in my dishwasher, the kitchen cabinets, crawling on my refrigerator, and in the guest bedroom that belongs to my seven-year-old daughter. I was not able to meet with a manager on a day that she wanted to inspect my apartment without any prior notice. So today Friday I took a bag of the roaches i have collected in my apartment, to the office to show her that they really are in my house. She had informed me that the bug man has not seen roaches here so she didnt seem to believe me that I had them. Today when I showed her the roaches she said she didnt care that she still needed to inspect my apartment and would not be putting the notices out to have the building bommed, and that she wouldnt do it until next week even though their office was still open for 30 minutes today and I was there standing in front of her. She then proceeded to tell me she didnt care and I could call corporate cause she wasnt going to help me, and then walked into her office and slammed the door in my face. Not to mention throughout this entire process I have felt discriminated against because Im white and the entire office staff is Hispanic. Every time I am in there and another Hispanic person is in there they get treated very nicely and they always seem to leave satisfied. Everytime Im in there I hear the girls speaking in Spanish and they give me dirty looks and seem to talk down to me. As a paying tenant to be discriminated against because of my race in a place I pay to be is just obsurd. I have left two messages for the corporate office and nobody has bothered to call me back. Also I referred somebody to move into this complex and when they moved in their apartment, it smelled of urine and other animal feces as well and they had to delay their move in by five days because the apartment had to be redone I do not recommend these apartments to anybody.

Ive lived here for 2 months and Ive killed 6 scorpions they walk over your roof bed walls there everywhere the office is a joke no one cares plus you cant walk outside because the roaches are pretty ridiculous. Im talking about the big ones you have to run in before they get you .... OMG dont do it trust me not worth almost 900 a month for a 1 bedroom to deal with this crap.

I wish I could post picture so you guys could see the major issues we been having, let me start of by saying . Who has ever had there stairs collapse as your walking on them ? Well let me tell you its happen to us TWICE, do you think they did anything ? No, I even spoke to the manager of the cove in the office yet nothing was done took maintenance a couple days to fix the stairs . Oh lord dont ever call maintenance they will just tell you to either shut your water off or they will come the next day . There maintenance is a JOKE ! I see them all day long yet takes them months to fix a issues . Lets continue to the apartment them self, they have bugs due to water in the carpet that they dont clean well for you, not to mention the stairs all always covered in bird poop . There dog poop all there the walkways, yet no one cleans it .. Parking is another issue, one parking for resident right ? Yet everyone takes the parking that are for guest to use for there own usage . People who dont even own parking spaces sit there write letter on parking spaces that arent theres . The issues can go on and on . I never once wrote a complaint but i still cant believe how much we pay for a place with so much issues, who dont care for there residents .... its a shame !

Ive been living at The Cove Apartments for almost 2 months now, when my husband and I initially came to inquire about a 2 bed 2 bath upgraded we were very excited to move in we loved it, so spacious, clean, and amenities. Well supposedly this apartment was move in ready.. I had to come and clean the apartment before bringing in my furniture because walls had stains, tubs were filthy, insects crawling on the floor, air was leeking so I had to disinfect and clean everything really well... I notified the office staff and they were all extremely rude I was supposed to get put on a list for pest control and no one ever came.. So yea here I am 2 months into my contract and very disappointed with this Apartment Complex, I have a 8 month old baby thats starting to crawl, We had to take him to the ER a few weeks ago because he had a huge bug bite on his leg and was running a high fever, Ive killed 4 scorpions so far, roaches inside and out, spiders, and other bugs.. I make sure I maintain my apartment clean at all times broom and mop at least twice a day... As far as the Apartment Complex in general, Well first off I was told we have a Patrol on sight? Ive never seen him or her before, the complex is very dark at night their are a few lights that dont work... The pool does not have a light either and gets very dark.. About a week ago my family and I decided to go for an evening swim well we had to leave because their was a couple having sex in the jacuzzi it was almost 10 at night and not once did we see security... The main gate is usually open in the night which allows anyone to walk in... Both of my children have had to be seen by their pediatrician because ever since weve lived here they are constantly sneezing and coughing... I am not happy at all with this Apartment it disgusses me to the point of wanting to break my lease because of my childrens health issues which I have proof of... At this point I feel it is pointless to contact the office with the above mentioned concerns because nothing is never done.. I am currently seeking legal advice and renters rights... I will never recommend this place to anyone... Sorry not sorry

Im only putting a 5 star rating because this place has crappy rating and need better management so hopefully this will motivate you to do better by your tenants because alot of people actually read these things if your gonna have 2 star ratings atleast have 2 star rental fees

Horrible customer service! I have had a leak for a week now! I reported it a week ago & spoke with Lisset & a Dee to follow up and all I get is broken promises! You would think a LEAK would be prioritized a bit more but nope.

Just a couple of weeks ago...my friend was leaning up on the soda machine and accidentally fell off and made a huge thud. But also the maintence was nearby and just assumed that he kicked the soda machine. Meanwhile I was just standing there confused, cause he wanted my friend to the office immediately. Then my friend want to go because he didnt do anything wrong. But the point of this is that, the maintence got angry for no reason. After he called my friend a b*tch. That really shocked me. I dontt know why they are calling residents those unpleasent words. But they need some specialized training.

Horrible place to live. They are infested with Scorpions and when I put my name on list to get sprayed it sid nothing. People outside smoking Marijuana. They also had my eent money and sent me to court twice. So then i had a public record. Lady at the office said oh i will satisfy it. Well that doesnt help the public record looks as if i didnt pay rent. I disputed it in my own had to pay $160 they wouldnt even refund what i had to pay to the court when it was disputed.

The space of these apartments are not bad. Having a washer and dryer in every unit is nice. But what i had to pay for a 3 bedroom 2 bath im sure they could have upgraded the appliances. The dining area is super small and ridiculous. We had uninvited guest staying with us roaches and the occasional scorpion. The manager and another one of the staff is really rude and unprofessional seemed to have an im better than you attitude. My car got spray painted and another time someone got in my car (luckily i had nothing of value in it) and rummaged thru my glove box and threw my stuff all over in my car. They have patrol (umm yea sometimes) and thats if they are actually patrolling the apartment and not just hanging put in their car staring at their phone. The gate key never worked the whole year i was the there. The parking is ridiculous as all hell. There is no where for the kids to play so they run around the apartments and in the parking lot making messes. Maintenence did come out when i put in work orders thats what the one star is for. Mold grew in the front bathroom. My downstairs neighbor lady complained to damn much she has a lot of kids but because i happen to be upstairs and my 3 year old liked galloping up and down the hall or the other little ones would be playing and sometimes get a little loud i constantly got complaints (her leaving notes on my door) mind you its not late at night and i do my best to keep them from stomping and being rude. They are kids you live below a family who doesnt let their kids run the apartment complex. You always knew when the next store neighbors were coming and going sounded like elephants charging up and down the stairs and my wall decor on the side where the stairs are attached would literally shake. My experience was ok for the first few months but went down hill quick. Oh and the closet doors never stayed on the tracks. They complain about any little thing that they can. And will raise your rent when its time to renew. We paid rent every month and unfortunately the last month on our lease we got evicted due to financial hardship so now we are going to have a hard time finding another place. When we went to court there was a lot of people for that property getting called up. (Rent is too freaking high). Going back to hopefully finding a house to rent or buy. Screw apartments especially this one. Management and that one tall lady with the stripper shoes and piece of crap under their noses need to check their attitudes. Im sure i could fo on but i wont. Good luck to everyone stuck in a lease there and if your thinking about moving here i highly suggest you read all the other reviews and think twice. (Oh yea if you need help from the office your better off going down there, i dont know why they have phones when they hardly pick up if they were truly busy all the time id understand)

Since ive moved in to the aprtments nothing has worked ..my gate key doesnt work not to mention Im right by the gate I dont even have to go over a speed bump to get to my apartment and I can see the gate soon as I walk out the door of my apartment and Ive lived here for 1 year and 5 months they keep saying they are working on it but nothing has happen and I pay rent every month..dishwasher doesnt work never has they send maintenance to fix it they make more noise then anything yet still doesnt work and leaks a lot of water also Im on the top floor and thats can cause mold or leak to the bottom floor..mold is growing in the bathroom which they call stains they send people to spray water and bleach on it but of course it grows right back and maintentance guy even told me he would come back to paint over it I can get aick from this. More scorpions then I ever seen in my whole life seem to be in my apartment. Recently I was late paying my rent which was my first time ever do to hard time (oh yea also before that I had a credit on my rent of 300 dollars for over paying my rent).. they changed the locks to my door. Not a place I would want to call home they have put me through so much and im really stressted out I wish I never resigned my lease here I regret it everyday. I ve worked around all this for a year and 5 months I am truly sad. I have contacted a attorney and 3 on your side wish me luck. (All the broken promises shouldnt have to come to this).

Way to many stoners and dealers cant walk out of the apartment in the afternoon/night without catching a big whiff of bud and a large amount of kids running a muck without parental supervision. I got my wifes car spray painted probably by some of those kids. The security they have patrolling doesnt do anything but hang out in their car, mold grows in the bathroom tubs and what appears to be paint peals off the tubs. And finally putting in a work order is like taking a shot in the dark maybe you will get lucky and some one will come out but 9 out of 10 times nothing gets done.

Been here since October, first thing they get to decide the weekend you move in. You have no say other then the Saturday you want to move in. So if you work weekends I hope you have friends to move your stuff. Second as with most apartments limited parking spots and all the good close ones are taken by cars that either dont run or people just dont use them. Ive whitnessed their tow company drive right by a white Kia that was in my spot all day for Super Bowl weekend. Yes I should have towed it I know. Theres 3 cars that havent moved once since October and are covered with dirt and cobwebs on the wheels. They waste money for a tow company to drive though the lot and look at cars. Oh wait Im sure thats comes out of tenants money somehow.Third and my biggest gripe, STRAY CATS EVERYWHERE. My part of the building including the patio are sprayed by cat urine as the males mark their territory. So plants by my door completely reek of cat urine which it cannot be healthy to breath in constantly. Cats urininated on the screen doors also. Have pics saved to prove all of this in case they try and charge me for animal damage even though I have no pets. They also urininated all over the windshield of my car. Had to have it professionally detailed to get the smell out. Luckily thats stopped as I constantly have to check on my vehicle to see if they are on there. Ive noticed what I believe are termites in the walls and have sprayed with cleaner to see if that stops them. So far so good! Fourth all appliances are extremely dated. White ovens with the metal coils that heat up, old white microwaves with screws holding them together. Old dated washers and dryers, washer is so loud even maintenance guy who fixed it after if flooded said it was way to loud so we do laundry on the weekend as to hopefully not disturb the neighbors. Theres no door to cover the washer and dryer, so if someone comes over and walk that way they get to see old washers and dryers. Im sorry but that mortifies me! Fifth if I remember properly I was told was new carpet, its February and there are deep stains that look like they are coming up, so Im sure we will lose our deposit. Sixth they charge 4.00 and some change for trash, which I dont understand. 4.00 for every apartment and this place is huge! I wish I knew how many units there were to do a total. 2.00 for pest control yet Ive yet to see any one come and spray anything! Again, STRAY CATS EVERYWHERE! Pests? I believe so in my opinion. So 2.00 and some change for pest control from every apartment yet they cant get rid of the cats. Ive yet to see a bug other then the termites, no roaches, no scorpions. Kids play in the streets here so becareful when you come around a corner to hopefully not hit a small child. Again super loud tenants above us. Thats expected at this point, not a battle worth fighting anymore. Seventh thing 10 minutes spots to pick up your mail are constantly used by people to park so have to park and walk. Annoying but I dont mind the extra steps. I had high hopes as we got an apartment with one neighbor on the side and one on top, so hoped the noise wouldnt get bad, other side is the street. Dont even get me started on the noise. I wish I could post photos on here. Again these are my own personal experiences as of October. Already planning on moving as soon as the lease is up or breaking it if something is not done about all the cats. Emailed about the cats with photos still have not heard anything, asked about tow company removing dead cars, all are still there. Asked for a new washer and they just reapaired the old loud noisy one. They try and charge you for upgrades of polished handles and things like that. Youd think thy put it in to make the places nicer but they want you to pay for the extras. Half the window locks dont close properly, one lock on the door which scares the life out of me I push the sofa in front of the door every night just in case.

WAS TOLD WE COULD NOT GET YOU DONE BECUASE YOU HAVE A WORK PERMIT BUT AT THE APARTMENTS I WAS LEAVING AT BEFORE ITS THE SAME COMPANY THATS OWNS IT AND THEY GOT ME DONE WITH MY WORK PERMIT IM GETTING A LAWYER YOU TOOK MY MONEY AND TIME AS WELL NOW WHAT WITH MY KIDS THIS IS VERY CRUEL!!!!

Im a current resident and unfortunately referred my sister here because I loved it Ive lived here 4 years but a few months after i referred her things became too unsafe unsafe! They break in to ppl cars my boyfriends car was broken in to we found it with trunk and doors wide open they also sprayed painted ppls cars with orange spray paint!.. Horrible horrible place to live in its no longer a safe place to call home i regret telling my sister to move here and feel so guilty because 4 months after they broke in to her apartment and took everything but her bed and couches!!!! in broad daylight!!! ......my neighbors would deal drugs i would see ppl in and out of that apt all day long and it smell like fresh weed all day! But couldnt break my lease because I cant afford bad credit...This place is infested with little gangs of teenagers smoking weed and doing drugs by the pool area day and night if you like living in the ghetto thats the place to be hands down! I cannot wait till July to get the hell outta here!!! If I could I Id give half a star!

This appartments are terrible, they have a huge scorpion inffectation, also lots of marihuana and gang members in this complex, robberies every weekend, i do not reccomennd this place, not safe for families.

Very disappointed, I had lived in these apartments before and lived it, I am very upset about the way leasing people work. I submitted an application and never received a call from them. I emailed and called various times and all they said was that theyd call me back and never heard from them. Its been 3 weeks since I completed and paid the $53 application and still no call from anyone. Since they got the money already they dont bother to call for any updates on application. Not applying here ever.Update January 2018: as you can see from this review I was told to email them so they could help me with what I wasnt satisfied with. I did email them and Never NEVER received a reply from them.
