If you dont have an appointment, dont be expected to be treated with decency. After passing the store multiple times, my significant other stopped in to make an appointment. When he asked if appointments can be made in store, the guard at the door just pointed at a piece of paper with a QR code and refused to engage. The guard also refused to say thank you for stopping by or take the time to try to explain the process further. The extent to which the staff brush off potential clients based on the way they look means well be taking our business elsewhere.

Great hospitality and attention right from the start! When traveling I always go to Rolex Authorized Dealers in hopes of finding a great timepiece. Most of the ADs I have visited look you up and down, check you wrist and try to get you out of the store as soon as possible. At Govberg my experience was the complete opposite. Natalie Goldberg made us feel welcomed and important. Natalie took the time to get to know my wife and I, give us a tour of their newly remodeled store (which is stunning), and show us their inventory. Even though I was not able to find a timepiece on this visit, I definitely walked away with an experience of wanting to buy a timepiece from Natalie— whether it be from a distance or the next time we’re in Philadelphia.

No integrity. No customer appreciation. I gave clear instructions to the Govberg employee about the repair of my 30 year old Rolex. When the watch was finally returned, it had not been repaired as I had requested - a huge mistake that ruined the sentimental value of the watch. I learned that the original employee had subsequently been fired for what Govberg admitted to be poor service and numerous mistakes. However, Govberg just made excuses for the employee’s error. Govberg was dismissive and refused to take responsibility for its employee’s incompetence. And I had to pay $732.00 to get my watch back!! Seriously - TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Govberg Jewelers is able to get almost any watch under the sun and has an amazing selection of pieces, even in a time where we’d consider there to be a shortage of timepieces. I specifically work with Tyler Rauth, who over the time we’ve worked with each other, has become more of a friend than anything else.

Ive been in and out of Govberg over the years, with the intent of always seeing whats in stock. They have an impressive selection of brands, including more enthusiast-focused brands like Grand Seiko and H. Moser and Cie.However, this review is specifically for my experience with Erik. Each time I visit, I learn something new about every one of the brands at Govberg because hes able to speak about each piece with respect to how it performs (he used to work in watch repairs fo Rolex), what makes the movement special, how different the dial manufacturing process is, or just the general current events in the industry and the perception surrounding each piece. Id say hes been the first watch salesman Ive encountered who can really speak to each detail about a watch. Whether its Rolex, Patek, or Grand Seiko, weve always focused just on the watch. With Erik, there is no pressure to buy anything or put on a face in order to be treated with respect. Its refreshing to have a fellow enthusiast who can speak to what makes a watch special.

Went in on a Friday to check out a Rolex. I was greeted with a kind security guard but it was a poor experience following that.I’ll preface this by saying that I had reserved an appointment ahead of time. I showed up a few minutes early and was seated - this was not an issue. There were a few clients waiting and a gentleman was helping a woman out - again no issue.The first employee yells at me from across the store and rudely asks if I am here for a pick-up and drop-off. I respond and let him know I have an appointment with Tyler F.Someone hurriedly comes out from the back that isn’t Tyler and is honestly not very attentive or helpful. Tyler then comes out and the appointment was just blah - I felt rushed and I don’t think he really took me seriously. I asked a few questions and I sensed annoyance. This isn’t a cheap purchase so I think I am within my right to ask questions.I left feeling more stressed than anything.I went to Watches of Switzerland in Hudson Yards the very next day and had an amazing experience - I purchased the Rolex and was grateful for the warm experience that was provided.If you want a *real* experience - I suggest taking your dollars elsewhere.The overall vibe is of Govberg is a bit older and musty - if you’re younger and want to be taken seriously...again...take your money elsewhere.

I had my Zenith serviced at Govberg and there were some issues at the Zenith service center. Christina at Govburg went above and beyond to sort the issue out and really took initiative to deliver suburb service. Govburgs level of customer service is something you will not find anywhere else. We did not have an appointment and were disappointed because we were informed that we would need one. Went in store and dealt with the same pretentious salesman who preceded to tell me he owned 7 cars while wearing a Batman GMT and somehow managed to be even more dismissive and demeaning. No thanks. Went and purchased the watch elsewhere. Worst customer service ever.

The website accepted the offer and a day or two later someone named Josh (aparently) from Govberg Jeweles (noted on his signature) contacted me to discuss the sale. When I mentioned I want to get everything in writing, he cut off any further communication... I found that suspicious.

It was 10 minute before closing and the gentleman come to me at the door just before i am about to enter.. He tells me what are you looking for? just like that... Oh Hi, how are you, i am looking for a watch. what do you think?. he answers me, well we are closing in 10 minutes. come back another time. Let me tell you that Mister Haughty.. I am not coming back and i am gonna spend my $$$ elsewhere.

If only I was allowed to give 0 star, I would give 0 star without hesitation.My brothers and I bought 2 watches from this location 2 years ago. We spent over 7 grand so when my watch needed repair, I went to them. Hence, the disappointment begins. I dropped my watch off on 12/8 and was expecting to hear back 12/22 per invoice receipt. No one from the store call me to give any update and I gave them a few days before I would follow up since I understand the holidays can be hectic. No one called me so I ended up calling them and the service manager told me that Breitling havent gotten back to them and that they will call me back when Breitling contact them.Long story short, today is 2/7/20 and they still have my watch. My brothers and I are currently in market for watches and Govberg just lost 3 customers.

Goverg offered me $15400 on a watch on a trade that 2 other dealers offered 25k for and 1 offered 24k. All 3 were outright purchases. No trade. Talk about trying to take advantage of someone. Govberg used to be user friendly. No more. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

Govberg provided the level of customer care rarely seen in the industry today. All of my questions were answered quickly. The purchase process, I bought a watch online, was seemless. When the watch arrived, literally the next day, the watch was exactly as described. I decided I required additional links for the bracelet and these were ordered and delivered in the same expedient manner. I would not hesitate to purchase from Govberg again and would recommend them to anyone.

Do not recommend WatchBox to do business with as from personal experience have found them to be very unprofessional; with false & misleading advertising that they take no responsibility for. Try addressing this matter with a senior manager and the word avoidance & deflection comes to mind rather than simply doing the right thing in dealing with the customers grievances. They say Brian & Sam will be in contact, but they dont bother to respond to any correspondence as they dont want to put anything in writing naturally. They have forgotten that digital marketing is still about looking at a customer in the eye but digitally in order to ensure that you still get a return on the relationship.

I had a very pleasant experience dealing with Robyn. If you live far from a big city, you know how difficult it is to buy a luxury watch. Robyn made everything smooth and reassuring from the initial inquiry to the transaction and shipping. I would not hesitate to buy another watch from Govberg. I went by Govberg today as I happened to be in the area. I was very disappointed in the level of customer service provided. They have an excellent selection of watches and I enjoy looking at their various pre-owned models as they somwtimes have varied pieces that are of interest. Today however nobody seemed the least interested in talking to me and when I inquired about going upstairs, the gentleman working there said I had to be escorted and then walked away. Mind you, I have purchased two high end watches from them in the past. Very dissapointed today.
