Storage facility was clean. Representatives at the front desk and over the phone were very, pleasant, friendly, professional and informative. They informed me of different prices on storage units and which one would be best for me. They asked me what I would be storing to make sure that I was getting the correct storage unit. I would recommend this storage facility to a friend, and I like the prices. I felt like the prices were very reasonable.

I have used this company before. I have never had any problems with them. They are courteous and efficient. They also are very knowledgeable and eager to answer any questions you have about their services.

I am not sure if opening late is common, and it was my first time so I have no past experience. Other than compass opening late that one time, the customer service was top-notch. Shameerah demonstrated a high level of professionalism and looks like she knows her job very well. If she is not a manager now, she would be one. I can see that in her. Her energy, professionalism, and knowledge are great.

Need another body to be at desk while attendant is at lunch. It is very inconvenient to come there not knowing the attendant is at lunch. I came there 2 times in one day and could not be assisted .

Customer service reps are great very helpful

Dead mouse on the floor. The dirtiest handrails Ive ever touched. The restroom looks and smells like it hasnt been cleaned in months. The toilet was filled with black diuretic feces. It is sooooo FUNKY and disgusting that the health department would not allow ANYONE to use it. The hours are too early for anyone that works. Closes at 6pm but be there by 5:30 or you wont get in. You must leave by 6. I gave it two stars on the strength of a young, nice, but firm staff woman. It could be a cool place if they get those things together. Also very low on carts to move out of the units.

The customer service is pleasant, however appear limited in knowledge when accountabilty is necessary. I will give a better rating when the elevator work consistently. Too many times I have asked of when it will be repaired and am told, were not certain we have to wait on the elevator company. This is unacceptable. I even reached out to the manager about the elevator problem, dont recall a response. I have held back giving a review because overall, my things have been kept safely in storage. My frustrations come up when I cant get to my space, I pay so much for. With the amount of things I have, stairs are not an option. I am tired of preparing my things to go into my storage, get to the elevator and its Out of Order. This has happened too many times, but rent has gone up since Ive been there. Then I have to be inconvenienced to go to the front of the storage, wait for someone to answer the door and have someone else let me in the service elevator. If the elevator doesnt work, could I suggest you put a sign on the gate; this way we can go straight to the front from the start. This constant inconvenience is a nuisance.

That one star has NOTHING to do with Simerrah Harpers customer service which was A1.The facility holds the burden of lack of customer service by not having enough flatbeds, to ONE working elevator available. Then, having to take that elevator to the first floor, reenter your code to get stuck because the access code wont allow you to any other floor.Simerrah had to come out three times to get me out. Fix the elevator and its system. Im handicapped and dont need any extra Avenues to go down.

VERY HELPFUL WHEN INQUIRING ABOUT MOVING SUPPLIES.. WAS ABLE TO GET A UNIT FOR A GOOD PRICE

On July 25, and August 28, 2020 I visited Compass Self Storage to pay my storage and had a question about the increase of my storage fees, because I was previously told a different rate than what I was being charged. I asked Simerrah one question and that was the beginning of my horrific experience. Simerrahs behavior was rude, and unprofessional. She yelled at me, told me to move my things out immediately if I am not satisfied, with the service. She continuously yelled at me and told me to get out! Simerrah (stated she was the owner, manager and supervisor). I do not believe this is accurate. I never experienced this type of distain from a place where I patronage their business for more than 10 years. I would like to speak with someone from Corporate office immediately! I do not wish to speak with Simerrahs any further. Mrs Guerrant always pleasant and helpful.

Simerrah is a very considerate and knowledgeable employee. Her dedication, ability and perseverance, speaks volumes about her character, work ethic and willingness to help others. Spoke with a Justin, had a very informational dialogue, rep was very polite and helpful. Great customer service. Space seems to be spacious and very reasonable compared to other spaces I have inquired. I didnt open an account just yet but am really considering doing business with them. Will only need the space for a very limited time and they seemed to be able to accommodate.

Good morning, I had a wonderful experience working with this company. I needed to rent a truck to move and I was able to get the size truck I needed with no problem. Also they had packing supplies that I needed so I did not have to go anywhere else. They are a one stop shop and I would recommend them. Keep up the good work.

I recently stopped by the office to purchase moving supplies and inquire about self storage options and was greeted with both professionalism and highly educated staffed. The two ladies Simerrah and Andrea both gave me storage options and even compared the pricing to nearby establishments. I am moving this Friday and although I only purchased supplies this time I will be back for a storage space this weekend.

Great customer service, every time I come by to pay my Husbands storage fees I am greeted with smiles. Samirah is a pleasant addition to this location. The other young lady who I have been seeing recently is knowledgeable as well.

I’ve had a storage space at this location for over 6 years before the business changed hands and it’s been a dirty,dusty over priced mess before and is even worse now after the change in ownership..You can’t get anyone on the phone most times and the staff was argumentative and confrontational when being asked basic questions..The only thing this company was quick to do when taking over was raise the rent !!No new amenities or improvements with broken non functional bathrooms and dust and dirt all over your things from there endless construction on other floors the place is a nightmare and before you get locked in with them please explore all other options as the place seems to be slipping quickly and the only focus seems to be fleecing customers with rent hikes...This is the only storage place(and I have three that I use in other areas)that I’ve had a 30min argument over trying to just give them my c.card information to pay my rent over the phone?!?!?Unprofessional and embarrassing...

Had a good experience i came for a few items to move some belongings. I was greeted when I came in the door and was giving great customer service from the general manager. Ill definitely return for more business

This place was terrible bc they wouldnt let you use the bathroom without your Id, they only had one working elevator to get fo your storage and didnt give any warning when they up there price till after it went up.

Deff helpful came in late looking for storage they all did a great job to size me in my storage and the deals theu gave saved me a few bucks too lol

Paid for a cell for 2 years... It is dirty and the service is non existent... the elevators are broken so everything has to be carried and the lazy employees will go out of their way to not have to help you.

Great customer service

I will say I share the sentiment of others that the hours need to be extended..at least until 8 or 9pm. However, some of the complaints must be coming from people who havent had units with other companies. I rented with Uhaul for over 10 yrs (Washington Ave. location) and Compass is cheaper overall...and more secure. At Uhaul I had a unit with a wooden door...with a gap at the bottom and when I moved out, much of my paper products had been chewed on by mice...and mouse droppings were everywhere. At least at Compass all the units have metal sliding doors that go to the floor. Also its easy to maneuver a truck into and out of the facilty -- unlike Uhaul. Its just a long trek for me..since Im in S. Philly.

Nothing like your rent going up every year in these places.guys make a killing after a few years of storage

Great storage place I’ve been a customer with Devon for years they switch over the summer and Devon never let me know they where changing over even with all the confusion, the compass people helped me understand what was going on and they started making improvements as soon as they took over and I like that I can pay over the phone
