.Called office to see if I could schedule an appointment since I was experiencing tooth sensitivity and was told I could come in as a walk-in between 11 and 2. Arrived at 11 and was seen very quickly. The dentist was detailed in explaining why I was experiencing this sensitivity. He thoroughly cleaned the gum area above the tooth and gave me a prescription for a rinse to use to help the gums. I had nothing but pleasant experiences with everyone from reception to scheduling follow up appointment and everyone in between. All the staff were masked as were all the patients.

The staff here was extremely rude and unprofessional. The people at the front desk a very confrontational.

I walked in and was willing to wait to be seen even though it was a little crowded until I noticed 2 people with no mask..the staff the dentist no mask..i understand most may be vaccinated but it doesnt mean that you cant catch COVID-19 or spread it to immunocompromised people. I was still willing to wait nervously waiting in my car then coming back in..what did it for me is when a man came in with no mask coughing not covering his mouth and pounding on his chest ..he clearly had a respiratory issue...then he proceeded to touch the registration computer and door handles etc none of the staff said a word......I left

Very efficient and quick work. They were communicative throughout entire process with what they were doing and just checking in. Friendly staff as well.

The dentist side is amazing! They are attentive and efficient. Even the pediatrics dentist is amazing they find fun ways to make your child open their mouth to clean their teeth. The only reason they are getting 3 stars is because the orthodontist side is trash. They do not communicate with the front desk. There is no consistent staff there and it’s the constant flow of new people. The new staff are not equipped and constantly cutting my mouth. The orthodontist is barely touching your mouth . He just oversees and let the staff below him reek havoc in your mouth. On top of that they are only open Tuesday and Thursday. The lack of availability is a big issue as well. They purposely prolong your treatment plan to pocket extra money. It’s funny how your braces treatment plan is for 2 years and you end of having it for 6 years instead with no real progress. I will continue go to the dentist side but I decide to go to Invisalign to fix the issues with my teeth that the orthodontist failed to do so.

For Pediatrics and Ortho, they seem to run very smooth here and weve personally have never had to wait long and even when my daughter goes into the back, shes usually out within 20 mins. Now the adult side the times run whenever, doesnt matter about appt time. But the thing i like is the emergency appts that are available daily.

As soon as I walked in I was struck by the fresh and clean look of the office. Everything that helps give the impression of a safe place for Dental care was observed. One part of my experience which could have greatly improved is communication. It starts with knowing who is taking care of you and their qualifications or job title. The hands of 4 different people were in my mouth at my last visit and I couldn’t tell you who anyone was. First, someone took X-rays. Then dentist came in. I only know she was the dentist because the xray person told me that’s who I’d see next. Her name? No idea. After doing some work on my teeth she left and group 3 came in with two women working on me at the same time. Were they dentists too? Or dental techs? Don’t ask me. But they were deep in discussion over something that made me somewhat uncomfortable. Their conversation in an unknown language was very animated and as the conversation went on it seemed that they lost track of the fact that it was a human they were working on. My lips were pulled and torn at the corner, I had fingernails pressed into my chin and upper lip causing me discomfort. I squirmed and got up to take a break from this but it continued until their work was done. I mentioned to the front desk staff that wearing name tags would help along with knowing who has their hands in your mouth and what their role is in your care. It definitely felt like dental care by assembly line. Do your bit and pass you off to the next person. It might be efficient for getting the most out of the dentists and increase the speed at which patients go thru their visit but it’s disconcerting feeling like a Ford getting passed down a nameless line to get your teeth taken care of. The office can and should do better by their patients.

I will never go to this dentist again. They werent following CDC guidelines regarding preventing Covid transmission, and actually lied to me when I asked over the phone what Covid precautions they were taking in advance of making an appointment, which feels even more negligent. I was in the middle of getting my teeth cleaned when they brought two other patients into the same room to also have cleanings, who were then treated less than 2 feet from me/each other. We were only separated by curtains which were about 1/3rd mesh. As I was leaving I realized they had left the door to the room I was in open to the lobby area, so it was possible I was breathing in the germs of anyone who came in the building during my cleaning. Upon leaving two of the techs at the front desk didnt have masks on anymore either (they did when I came in.) I had a panic attack after leaving because I was so afraid I could have contracted Covid while being there.

I will never go to this dentist office again! The staff was very rude they dont say good morning at all. I think everyone was having a bad day they all just looked mad.. Due to covid conditions their was no social distance. The office was packed with other patients some patients had to stand up because their was no seats. Im advising everyone if u dont wanna catch the virus make and appt on a non busy day!

It is a very busy dentist office but once you are waited on, the experience is very professional and pleasant. I have had to wait at least 30 minutes for two of three recent appointments but it is due to COVID-19 backlog. The staff and doctors are extremely helpful, patient and try to expedite as best as possible.

I am very happy with my experience here. I have some anxiety problems when seeing the dentist. But the hygienist I had made me feel at ease, related to my anxiety, and paused every time I needed a break. He was very receptive to my physical indications of discomfort and patient. I will continue to go back there and request the hygienist I had seen the other day. I wish I knew his name to recommend.

Had a few broken and infected teeth removed the dentist assured I wouldn’t feel anything because I wanted to be put asleep I trusted him and I felt nothing at all I was so comfortable I actually go back tomorrow to have some removed on the other side! I absolutely love this place my sister went here,my friends go here,and now I’m referring everyone I know! I’m so happy I found a clean and a place I actually feel like they care it’s not just a place wanting to milk insurance money! I’m 32 and never found a dentist I am this comfortable to go to I will forever be a patient no matter where I move she is worth coming back to !

It was truly an amazing experience at Dr. Cumani’s office. The check in was quick and easy. We barely sat in the waiting room, even though it was busy. The staff accommodated my daughter and I for certain requests. All of my questions were answered thoroughly without being rushed. Will definitely be going back for normal check ups.

My daughter says that a few of the people are nice, but they put her spacer on way to tight. It took a year to get off!

Totally opposite of the usual dredding the long wait time in most doctor offices. Called to the back within minutes of checking in. Everyone in the back, dentists and assistants, are great too.

I had a little anxiety when I came in for my deep cleaning, but I have to say that the staff is amazing and very professional. I was very impressed with the work that Dr. Parks performed and he made me feel very much at ease. My teeth look amazing and I thank you for that. I know the office gets busy cause these guys do such a great job. But they have team work to get the job done and try to make the patients happy. I am certainly a happy patient. If your first language is not English, I do not recommend them, they do not help you in another language and sometimes when the doctors ask one of their employees for help, they do not offer it, and you do not understand what they tell you or how you talk to them. Regarding cleaning, I was like washing your own mouth at home.

I had a dental emergency over the weekend. After a trip to Urgent Care and the ER (with a 5.5 hour wait just to be seen, due to flu season) I was able to come into this office first thing on Monday and get everything taken care of. Not only, did I get A-1 service but I was impressed by the professionalism of the staff. The Dentist is my least favorite place to go. I needed a tooth removed, which I was putting off for the last few years. On top of everything, I started out with what I thought was just a sore throat, turns out I had a sinus infection and an abscess 🤧🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮Unfortunately another Dentist, gave me afrankinstien patch job a few years prior and its caused numerous issues. I was in tears because the dentin was exposed on a tooth that I was lead to believe a root canal was preformed. The Dentist was patient, attentive and understood that I was very nervou she removed the tooth, cleaned my teeth along with a treatment plan with the pricing options. I am permanently switching to this office. Im extremely grateful for the experience. I also forgot my note for work, and the staff made sure it got to my employer 🥰

My daughter and I goes to this office, I would give it 5 stars for my daughter, they treated her kind and courteous, however, on my part, my first visit to the adult dentistry, I had the dentist, practically rip my gums apart till I was spitting blood for like 10 mins, not to mention the assistant that was being immature and rude to myself and the dentist she was working for. I legit had them practically arguing over me with my mouth wide open. I would say after all of that the dentist did try to maintain professional attitude but the assistant was tossing stuff around like she didnt care and then after I was about to leave, she comments about wanting my purse and persisted about taking it after I assumed it was a joke and politely said no, she reached over to grab it for me but acted like she wasnt going to give it back. That was upsetting to me. Lets not forget about the assistant saying that my teeth are gonna fall out because they are too close with each other but every other dentist I been to said they were fine. Im not sure how I feel coming back here.

This is the best place to get any dental work performed. Pleasant staff, very professional and imaculantly clean. If there is a longer than expected wait time it is because of how popular this dentist is. And/or the time of day. But they normally see you at your scheduled time. Ive been going there for years and never had anything to complain about. It feels like family. My wife and daughter use the same dentist as well. Thats one thing we ALWAYS agree on. And they are very kid friendly.

Everything was great! it did take me 3 hours from start to finish but that was mostly because of my insurance. It was nice that instead of just saying sorry your insurance doesnt seem to work, they called my provider and dealt with it for an hour until everything was gravy. will be back in 6 months for another check up.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Cumanis for at least a decade because she is the best dentist that Ive ever had . She is excellent! She has always provided the best of dental care with a personal, caring approach. She works with you regarding your options about the best solution to your dental problems choices and financial options. I watched her grow her business over the years incorporating pediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry as well as cosmetic procedures. I also like and the other dentist in her office that perform exceptional dental work also.

I have been going to this office for about two years now. I was always apprehensive about the dentist but I relied on a recommendation from and friend and took a chance. I am so glad I did. Dr. Cumani and all the dentists in the office are professional, courteous and nice. They explain everything to you in ways you can understand and make sure you are comfortable during your time in their care. I love the reminders and ease of making appointments. I am looking forward to continuing with my treatment plan for healthy teeth and good oral health.

I have been bringing my children here for 4 years. This place is clean, professional, conveniently located off I-95 & they see you at or a little after your appointment time. Friendly staff & kid friendly decor to make the visit easier. My sister recommended this dentist and I would absolutely do the same.

I live right down the street from the Cumberland practice and its so nice to have a place so nearby that does good work, carries my insurance, DOES ONLINE APPOINTMENTS via email, sends text and email reminders. Also consistently a pretty friendly group. Ive come to this dental practice a couple times now, each time the dentist who sees to me is polite and cheerful, 10/10 for bedside manor.

This was my second visit after an absence of several years. I like my previous dentist for the 10 minute distance and the work and attention they provided. I returned to Dr. Cumanis practice because every member of my family goes there and their praise of her and her entire staff. I need some major work done and risked a 40 minute drive to discover she is every bit the pro I remembered. I will continue to return.

My child went here for dental work because it was close. After the work was completed I noticed a large chip missing near the gum line. It was almost like they drilled to fill a cavity but didnt fill it in. They told me my insurance would cover a certain amount and I would have to pay a certain amount out of pocket, which I agreed to and verified the day of the appointment before my child went back. When we were getting ready to leave they told me they were wrong and I had to pay $150.00 dollars more than I was originally told. If I had the extra money I wouldnt have asked them twice how much it would be, I was mortified and had to get a credit card to put it on. It was extremely public and I felt like all the other customers there were looking at me. They did give me a small discount, but I was so embarrassed by that point that I couldnt recommend them to my friends and family like they asked. I would not want my experience to happen to any of them. Some of the staff was extremely nice which is why I gave three stars. The dental assistant and a couple of the front desk people were very nice.

Dr. Cumani and her staff are the best! My family and I have been going to her for years. Not only do they do great dental work, they are very kind and friendly to their patients. I feel like family when I am there. I will not go to any other dentist as long as I live in Philadelphia.

Never go here. She had me do so many crowns on teeth and never informed me that they were not permanent. I now had to get implants because all of her crowns fell apart. Every time my dentist looks at my teeth/x-rays, he shakes his head at her work. She used posts that were WAY too big for my teeth.

Was picking up partials yesterday at closing time (4:30), and Dr Cumani did not rush me and kept me there until I felt comfortable and was happy with them. Melinda is very nice as is everyone who works there.

The staff is professional, the office very clean and the wait was not long to be seen. Would recommend to all of my friends and family. Also would like to thank Dr. M. For giving me my smile back.

I love this dentist office ! It’s never a long wait to get seen, I’m literally in and out within 30 minutes.

The only place by Medicare covered in my whole zip code, so I didnt have a lot of choice doing my dental here, but would not recommend to adults who do have a choice. I waited for 30 minutes in the lobby for a regular cleaning appointment. Atmosphere is hectic with children running everywhere. When I was taken to have my teeth cleaned, the assistant didnt talk to me, but instead continued to have loud conversation with co worker at a neighboring station. Felt more like a hair salon. The person didnt even check for cavities or clean properly, only used the little air and water gun, nothing else. Later when I went to a new dentist, I found out I actually had several cavities, so that means that Cumani and friends definitely didnt really examine my teeth at all. Obamacare insurance has such a limited coverage option, I always get sent to bottom-of-the-barrel place like this. Save yourself the trouble.

I am petrified of the dental pain. I make appointments and cancel them all the time. My last 2 dental appointments were so surprisingly good. I did not suffer much pain at all. The staff at Cumanis takes into consideration that I not only have very sensitive teeth but also a small mouth. My last appointment instead of having me stretch my mouth farther than it can, she had me slightly close my mouth which loosened the skin and muscles so I did not feel any of the needles or any work she was doing. I love the staff at Cumanis office. I am finally comfortable with going to the dentist for regular appointments. I would recommend them to everyone.

Do not recommend going here for a root canal. They traumatized a different tooth in the process causing me to eventually need a second root canal. They did not measure the crown properly on the first tooth causing my bite to eventually change. Highly do not recommend

Great place for my little one! The little pirate ship in the waiting room is perfect. Always in & out. His last appt was 3:00pm. We were in the car halfway home by 3:30pm. The receptionists are always warm & welcoming. The dental team in the back are amazing with children! The dentist is so great with my little guy! (He LOVES asking 1,001 questions)..and the dentist is a pro at handling them, lol! Will be sad when its time for him to go across the room to the grown ups side, lol!

I cant explain enough how bad this place is and how nasty some of the staff members are especially the kids dentist. First he gets bothered by me being in the back with my kids which I find odd. Then he speaks to my kids in a disrespectful manner towards me and oversteps with his questioning. Then two of the staff members stand right next to us speaking in foreign language while starring in our direction while the doctor blatantly speaks to me in a sly unprofessional manner. I will never come here again after getting my gums butchered myself and after the experience with my kids they too felt really uncomfortable. I would give 0 stars it that were a choice.

Dr. Cumani is, by far, the best dentist I have ever had! I moved from Philly to Washington, DC and still come to Philly for my dental work. Its a hassle but better than getting a bad or even a mediocre dentist. I tried other dentists in DC area but Dr. Cumani set a high standard and I have continually been disappointed with the dentists in this area.She is the only dentist who clearly marks on my chart that I need to take antibiotics prior to dental work! I had one doctor in DC start digging into my gums and I said uh, are you sure I took my antibiotics?. Her response oh yea, I forgot to ask.... My response oh yea, I almost died as a child from a dental treatment so I will be leaving and you will not even consider charging me for this appointment.I always know that Dr. Cumani is on top of things and she is so much more progressive than most dentists. If you dont need a procedure or there is a less expensive work around she will do it. She is not trying to take your money she is just trying to be the best dentist possible! That is rare in todays world.And since I just cracked a tooth I will be visiting her soon!

Was seen about an hour after my appt time, so the wait is quite long. Totally worth it though. I hadnt been to the dentist in years. They were very gentle and talked me through the whole process. I was shocked that even the injection in my gums didnt hurt!!! Absolutely recommend.

This place is overrated in my opinion. It has a good atmosphere, but the staffs are unprofessional. I booked for 2 but their record only showed one. We have to wait extra time for all of the paper work for a new patient, which can be done over the phone if they asked me in advance. My dentist didnt clean up my teeth properly and I still saw the tartar. For my wife, the assistant didnt know how to find the equipments for x-ray, and the x-ray process is quite painful in my opinion. Wont come back here for cleaning in the future.

After that appt I was in pain for atleast 2 months, waited forever before going back I go back and the girl drops the X-ray machine down on my face! Nothing like leaving the dentist with a sore mouth and swollen cheek! Still figured ok accidents happen but she didn’t even apologize she smirked and says are u ok! Smh!! Took my Son to the pediatric dentist. I had a very good experience, The Dentist greeted me personally by shaking my hand and lettimg me know what kind of procedure my child needed. Worst cleanings me or my family has ever had. My husband complained on two visits of a cavity hurting him and nothing was done. It now needs to have a root canal, necessitating a crown, which they happily charge full price for. Im never going back again

I waited for a saturday appointment for months and I was fine with that as I really need weekend appointment, however the staff called me friday night day before my appt for my insurance info that I provided when I made the appointment she stated they could not verify it so I provided the info again they called me back telling me my insurance office was closed and I needed to reschedule my appt very unprofessional lost me as a patient and I never even made it in!

I do not trust her and her staff; all they care about is money; they follow you to the chair with their card reader to swipe your credit card which is disrespectful just like you are going to run away without paying. I had more than a bad experience with this dentist.I came to their office for a crown lengthening, and she told me that I had an infection in my gum and she retreated my root canal, and her work was so bad and the root canal she made was too thick that I had to undergo two oral surgeries at Penn Dentistry, and at the end I lost my tooth because when they opened my gum, they discovered two of the roots were broken; now I am suffering the pain from the surgery for nothing.My daughter made a tooth filling at their office and after two months it fell, and when she went to Penn dentistry for an emergency, they discovered there was a decay in her tooth which means (one of Cumanis staff) she did not clean the tooth well before she put the filling.

I went in on Monday with excruciating pain. Turns out I needed a root canal but since my insurance didn’t cover it they said I could do an extraction. I made the appointment for Thursday since it was just a few days away and they gave me pain meds. I get there today, 20 mins early, sat down and they called me to tell me that my appointment was for the 16th not today (9th). I kept my cool and told her that there was a mistake she said all she could do was put me in as a walk In. I said ok. Mind you my mouth is Throbbing and took off work for this also. 2 hours pass by and I ask the girl at the counter if there was anything she could do and she just no and that there were 8 people in front of me!! This was a mistake THEY made and I had to sit here and suffer and they couldn’t offer to bump me up at all. I made an actual appointment at a different place (same day)because the pain is very unbearable. I don’t recommend this place to anyone after this especially if you have severe pain, don’t take the risk because your appointment might not exists

Dr. Cumani is a excellent dentist and this office has a warm and friendly staff that is always welcoming.

The staff and especially the doctor always makes my son feel very comfortable.

My entire life I have had problems getting numb so I understandingly hate the dentist. Ive been having terrible pain and decided to finally go to the dentist for a route canal and an extraction. I stumbled upon dr Cumanis office and went in for a walk in. I told Dr. Cumani and her wonderful staff that I dont huger numb. She tried her hardest to get me numb and perform the procedures. Despite her efforts it didnt work and I left in horrible pain Now I know this doesnt sound like the start of a good review but heres the good part. After taking the prescribed antibiotics I went back to try again. I felt so comfortable that despite my excruciating pain I knew she was the only one I would let near my mouth. Know that I was in pain she moved fast to get the job done and when I couldnt handle it she took the time to comfort me. The care was so personal and regardless of the pain (which was no fault of hers) I knew I was in good hands. She got the job done and it wS well worth it. I would recommend Dr. Cumani to any and everyone in the area simply because of her compassion. Im still petrified of the dentist because my trouble numbing but at least I know how hard she will work to make me comfortable.

Like the service all staff are very caring and accommodating only have one complaint my son was in a great deal of pain when we left and they said that they dont supply pain medication and also my children said that they felt pain while they were being worked on I know they are kids but they have been here before and had work and didnt say that so maybe they need to check them a little more before working on them my kids are tough they try not to break down in front of people but they will with me

Recently, after having an extraction, I was sent on my way without being prescribe any amoxicillin or motrin. I ended up with an infection and dry socket. I called and left messages for a week. When they finally answered their phone, I was given an emergency apt for first thing the following morning. I was the 1st patient to arrive and sign in. I waited 40 minutes! They ended up calling another lady back first who was not there for an emergency. Meanwhile, the ladies at the front desk were talking loudly about how patients are annoying on the answering machine when they leave multiple messages. And laughed about it. Apparently they dont check their lines everyday, either. So I said something about it (since they want to talk so loudly with patients in the room and i called for a week and left multiple messages) and their response was that it was the pediatric line. Makes it better right? No!!!!!!!!! Are they serious? I was in shock! The one lady at the front desk just wanted to argue with me and give me an attitude. I spoke with the manager and he seemed to not even care that she was being disrespectful towards patients. And this wasnt the first time in my 3 years of going here that Ive encountered a problem. After that visit Im stll in pain. My extraction is even deeper than it was and now, I have canker sores at the sight (which is due to poor dental work.) Needless to say, my children and I will not be going back there.

Best dentist around the whole staff is great.They make going to the dentist a good experiance

First appointment for my daughter was a first visit. They were ready to pull her tooth,they had someone elses file. Second visit,wrong file again. Last visit they told me I was late...by a year. I told them this is her third visit and again a screw up..we will not be comming back.

Went in to get my front tooth fixed had no pain when the dentist “numbed” me I felt everything also it’s been about a week and I can still feel where she stuck the needle in and a pain near my nose ... also i can’t bite on my front tooth that was fixed and another tooth she fixed she bonded to eachother so I can not floss horrible experience
