This was the best experience i’ve truly ever had! the workers there and the dentist are extremely kind and considerate people. they don’t make you feel like you’re overreacting nor do they dismiss any feelings or questions you have, they pay attention and make sure you’re comfortable throughout your whole process. i highly recommend this place and will ONLY be going back to advanced family smiles. thank you to everyone there!

I have just gotten finished paying multiples of thousands of dollars at another dentist. I felt like he was scamming me. I would go in to get one tooth done and automatically he said I had another problem. I recently went to Advanced Family Smiles. I was greeted immediately with a smile and was taken back to the dentist! I was petrified and she could tell I had been mistreated by my previous dentist. At this point, I have nothing left on my insurance. I got my teeth xrayed and examined. We made a short term plan and I returned the next week. She said she had to pull an infected tooth and build up my jaw bone. After having my mouth numbed, within three minutes my tooth was pulled! No issues. She built up my bone, sutured it closed and I was done in 30 minutes!I highly recommend this office on Academy Road. Everyone was so nice and kind. I was taken back immediately upon the time they set my appointment for, did the work themselves (without sending me out to a specialist) and set up my follow up appointment.If you want skilled, kind and fair-priced dental team, please call them!Thank you!

Today was my first time at this dentist and I love it already! Everyone there was happy and professional. The office was very clean and organized. They have a new machine to take videos and pictures for Invisalign trays and retainers it was so cool to watch. Way better compared to The molds I had done in the past at my previous dentist.I called today and they made time for me to get a same day appointment. They fixed a chip in my tooth and my new Invisalgn retainers should be arriving in two weeks! Can’t wait to go back.

There great they helped me with everything I needed. And made me feel so much after the work and the dentist was so careful and caring about me there and after words. The whole office is great and I and not just someone saying this because they gave me anything which they didn’t give me anything. They made me feel so much better walking out of there I can smile now. I used to not show my teeth when I smiled but now I can’t stop showing them

Dr. Patel is extremely patient, friendly professional and explains everything to you. He takes the time to answer all questions. He is one of the best dentist I’ve ever had. Also both Natasha and Veselina were very helpful and made me feel comfortable. Natasha went out of her way to get me headphones so I could listen to music while I got my fillings done! Erin, who cleaned my teeth was also very kind and very welcoming. I highly recommend Advanced Family Smiles on Academy Road.

THE ABSOLUTELY WORST DENTAL CARE EVER !!!I am not sure who they PAID to post all the positive reviews ? Ask anyone first hand who’s been to this office. . They over charge all dental insurances, I know this because not was I charged for services not rendered but my insurance company informed me this is an on going issue with advance family smiles. Beware i!!!

At first I was very impressed with the surrounding of the dentist. However, that only takes you so far when the dental work done was absolutely horrible. I initially went for a root canal. The infection was not completely taken out, leading to it needing to be pulled (from a specialist, not here). I was in so much pain, yet the dentist blew me off. In short, Dr. Patel was very negligent gave me the worst care a dentist has EVER provided before. To make things worse, he gave me medicine being full aware that I was allergic to it. Yet, he denied he even did it. Words cannot even describe how many times this doctor has neglected me. This doctor provided the most inappropriate care that was given to me. This should have NEVER led to a pull from the start. The doctor ignored all of the X-rays that shown infection which, again, led to a pull. Don’t go to this dentist unless you want an irresponsible and negligent Dentist.

My experience at Advanced Family Smiles is always superb. I have been seeing Dr Trivedi for years and he is wonderful. He’s professional, kind, and truly provides the best dental experience. Natasha, Erin, Michelle, the front desk staff, and the entire team are such a pleasure. The innovative approach is certainly another motivating factor as well. I have yet to have a negative experience here and I’m sure I won’t in the future. I am definitely a lifetime patient!

I came for my check up and cleaning on Thursday, September 30th, 2021.Brielle introduced herself as she walked me to her area to be checked and cleaned. Initially, Brielle asked pertinent questions prior to beginning the process of cleaning my teeth. Once she began, I could feel the thoroughness, and technical expertise being applied. It felt as though I was Receiving the best teeth I ever received! Very professional and efficient!

I had a great experience...I had to get a few things done this year. That being said everything came out as it should. The customer service and expertise from the doctor was top notch. If you decide to have dental work done I highly recommend this facility for all of your dental needs and care...you wont be disappointed.

I recently had a tooth extraction and bone graph completed at Advanced Family Smiles on Academy Road in Northeast Philadelphia. Even though I am new to the office, everyone was so welcoming and friendly, as well as attentive and accommodating. On the day of the procedure, Dental Assistant Natasha Kopay noticed I was a bit nervous to undergo oral surgery and, without any prompting from me, she kindly gave me an iPad and headphones for listening to music of my choice, which helped a great deal.Dr. Nick Patel, who in my previous visit, helped me understand the odyssey that will go toward my new dental implant, also conducted my tooth extraction procedure. He gave me reassurances throughout the entire time I was lying in the chair. He carefully explained the reasons for his actions and what I should expect to feel, and he consistently asked how I was doing. I felt no pain, only the pressure he described. And when he was finished, and despite still being numb, I couldn’t help but smile when he said that everything went according to plan.

Going to the dentist has always been such an anxious and nerve wrecking task. It had been awhile since I had gone to the dentist and I was fortunate enough to have had Erin take care of me. From the beginning the alleviated any tension I might have by making small talk to make me feel comfortable. From there she explained step by step what she was doing to ensure that I was learning the process and understood what was going on. Throughout the whole process she would ask how I was doing and made sure I was alright. Her personality and professionalism made this experience worthwhile. Honestly can’t thank Erin and the team for making me feel welcomed! Thank you!

This place was the best dentist I’ve ever been too. It’s a nice setting filling out the paper work is super easy due to filling it out on an iPad. Everyone was super friendly and professional. My first appt, i walk in the door, they give me a gift, YAY, they didnt know what service i was getting. Coffee and water while you wait, high tech advanced equipment, and an office of mostly women (which i am extremely proud to see). Dr Olena thoroughly xrayed my teeth and gums in preparation of a major surgery, and provided antibiotics prescription as requested by my surgeon and follow up. I needed gum treatments..boo. Lol. My anesthetition introduce herself to me that day before my procedure to ease any nerves. Breil was her name. Numbed my mouth so well i often, unless during pulling of plague, couldnt tell which area of my mouth she was even working on. Thats great. She spoke in a familiar way to me which added another degree of comfort. Spectacular! Receptionist are kind and mild spoken. My only setback comes from me not taking better care of my teeth and gums. These procedures were costly and made me regret not taking better care to prevent and get regular cleanings. I sat wondering why i did this to myself and the dentist (who while this is how they make money Im sure would prefer still if people took better care of their investment in their mandibles). I bought an electric toothbrush and soon will purchase a water pic as well. I prefer having my own teeth. My mother and brother lost all their teeth to gingivitis. Meat, and harder crunchy foods came off their lists of things to eat, not nearly as healthy. I implore everyone to care for their teeth now and teeth should be a part of regular healthcare as it could cause clogged arteries and surgical problems not to mention a degree of attractiveness to the face. Thank you advanced dental. TO MEDICARE AND OTHER INSURANCES PLEASE PUT DENTAL IN REGULAR MEDICAL PROCEDURES TO BE COVERED!

Great practice, haven’t been to a dentist since I was a kid. Came in because I had a small fracture on my tooth. I ended up getting a root canal, but Dr. Olena and her assistants were patient with me, and were informative when explaining what was being done. When it was finished Dr. Olena explained what the plan was moving forward for treatment, and answered all of my questions. Would 100% recommend them to anyone!

As many times as I’ve been to many different dentist offices, this organization has been the most comforting and accommodating. Every time I go to the dentist, Dr. OLena Akbulut has been a pure delight along with dental assistant Natasha. They’ve made sure that my visit was pleasant and and that I was comfortable, they explained very thoroughly the things that they were doing during my procedure. They also asked me very frequently how I felt and if I was okay, cleaned and massaged my jaw when needed. They also give you chap stick and other great goodies to help with great teeth health! My brother was experiencing severe pain in his mouth and wherever we went we were told the same thing but nothing helped. Then I found this place on Google and I’m so glad I did. Dr. Oleena was able to cure my brother’s issues with her special care and recommendations and she is so kind, thoughtful and a true professional. You can tell she really cares about your dental health. This is the best dental practice I’ve ever been to and I’ve switched my whole family over and they have been raving about the service. My mom has anxiety and has had terrible experiences elsewhere and it traumatized her to not going back to the dentist. This place changed her perspective and she is on her way to better dental health. Erin was so patient and kind while I explained my mom’s sensitive condition and she was able to make my mom feel super comfortable. So I was super happy with my time at Advanced Family Smile.So I was at a different dentist and I tried to get in with a VERY bad tooth pain but they wouldn’t take me.So I call Advanced smile I called at 7:30am they don’t open till 8 and someone answered.And then doctor called me back at 8 which must of been as soon as she got in and then she had me in her chair with in the hour oh and that was a Saturday .The next day the doctor personally texted me 2 times to make sure I was ok on Sunday

This dentist Office is the best. I always had a fear of going to the dentist so as I got older my smile went down the drain. I went to Dr Olena (hope I spelled your name right) totally relaxed me fixed me up as I wanted my smile back and the last part was crowns on my front teeth. They use a better lab than most . People thought I had a mouth of implants .they are beautiful! Plus she is always there for me whenever I need adjustments or anything else.and there is a massage chair in the lobby if you need it -No PainI highly recomend
