Solution House was the best sober living home I ever went too. All The men that run that place where blessed and strong. They where always there to give great love and support. They helped you with work right away to give and offer opportunity’s to make money and pay you weekly rent. There was food service included with your rent to never go hungry. The living rooms space where so big with backyard space to go with along with gym to workout with weights.Every morning we started day with meetings and there was also meetings close by walking distance to go to at night. The Solution House has everything you needed and more to give no excuses to make it in life. It was a stepping stone with all the right tools to give to me to take me to the next level to be taken in by my family. Now I have a successful career selling solar. I have everything and more that I lost in the world with everyone. If it wasn’t for solution house I wouldn’t be where I’m at now.Thank you Solution House for all your love and support non stop.
I live here now I will let you know how it is
My nephew was here - it saved his life. He went from rock bottom to becoming a productive, working, sober man and dad to a little girl!Still doing great and living in Arkadelphia, Arkansas now!Thank you Solution House❤️
Smart living solution for those committed to their recovery. Highly affordable. Basic/weekly rent includes internet/cable TVs/utility/in-house laundry and most food.Very supportive of those who are looking for a reliable, clean, and welcoming place without conflict. Peaceful and quiet enjoyment of accommodations and sobriety, are the main focuses to provide an agreeable drama-free living environment.
I currently live at the womens solution house in Frankford and I absolutely love it here. They have taught me accountability, responsibility, and compassion. The house is clean, flat screens in every room, affordable rent, and a great group of diverse women! They take your recovery seriously and actually want you to succeed which is the icing on the cake for me!
First and foremost, RENT. This is a business and it is ran like one. You are renting a bed while you/your loved one is here. Failure to pay the rent typically results in a discharge from the program/housing. Upper management (Sam, Sara and Marty) WILL work with you but you have to show initiative, honesty, and respect. This is a great place to live when you have the funds or you have a stable job. This is not the place to move in to when you only have one or two weeks worth of rent and no job. (Unless youve already figured something out with Sam)I lived at Solution House for 3 years and this program is a great place to start whether youre coming from a Rehabilitation center or youre stepping right off the street. All of Solution Houses buildings are decently clean, depending on if the people living there are doing their chores lol and that may greatly vary.😅Stealing was never much of an issue as these houses but that does not mean that you are advised to bring any expensive items, leave those with relatives or trusted friends. These houses may not have everything you need as far as linens, pillows and various toiletries. So make sure you pick up a few things before you make your way to one of the various Solution House buildings.
I am so grateful for this house it has showed me how to love again how to live again at a time I didnt think I was capable.
Nothing but the typical, white lower Northeast trash in this program. The post below is accurate. You do not want to interact with scum like Sam Jones and Sarah Raymond (lLee and MeMcado). Spen the money and go to the sub-burbs for a better class of people.
Its a great place to get recovery!
Would have given it zero stars but thats not possible while I was there the house manager Henry with a history of suicide attempts( I was told) announced during our weekly meeting he was considering suicide again. I moved in solution house After having three months clean. the part owner Sam who also Sports the lavish title of program director who I also never met after living there for 2 month told Henry (the suicidal house manager) to throw me out a few days after collecting my rent because I complained of bed bugs which the house on Paul Street is infested with I slept in 3 different bedrooms and 4 different beds after complaining each time about the amount of bed bug bites I was receiving each night Sam decided without ever talking to me personally that I was to be thrown out without a refund because I was spending too much time worrying about bed bugs and not enough time on recovery. He didnt even tell me personally he had the suicidal house manager inform me that I was to leave my bags and belongings were gone when I returned for them the following day and they told me they were keeping a whole months rent $600 and I was being given nothing as a refund I tried to talk to Sam about it over the phone which was my only option because I still have never laid eyes on this man he screamed and cursed at me he threatened me with physical violence and said if I didnt leave right away with nothing I wouldnt live to inform police about his poor business practices I never did get my money back and had to write it off as a loss if youre new in recovery or looking to get clean dont go to solution house relapse policies are as follows if you relapse you forfeit your months rent and you have to stay at Friends Hospital until they release you that usually amounts to about 12 to 24 hours you can come right back to solution house but youve lost your months rent and you have to pay another $600 people are relapsing left and right there and being allowed to stay after one night out theyre allowed back but most people dont get caught because the program manager is never there the house manager is a basket case on the break of suicide and none of the residents are going to tell because I guess thats just the way things go but the most deplorable Behavior I witnessed there was being ordered to go to philabundance as a volunteer to distribute food we loaded our van and took off with destinations to drop off food to the poor before we ever dropped off one box of food at any of our destinations I was told we would be going by solution house where we unloaded about 10 boxes of groceries Meats fruits and vegetables that we were not entitled to when I objected to being involved in this I was told I had better keep my mouth closed because people had been thrown out of the program for threatening to report this Behavior which I did report once I left I hope philabundance doesnt still trust them to deliver food to the poor please please please save your sobriety save your life find a different solution solution house Is Not Your solution its their solution to their empty pockets and their aggression towards life in general Ive never encountered such wickedness in my life not even in my darkest night in addition
Supportive place with emphasis on recovery.
