$28 for a straight razor shave. Best way to start my day. Was a quick but thorough shave. Quiet and calming atmosphere, good conversation, and I look great. I’m from out of town so this was a great find.

NOTE: I previously have been bleaching my hair loads and the top at the back was pretty processed and damaged, so the last time I was at home in CANADA, I decided to sacrifice my face at the back and cut it evenly (no. 1) so it would grow back healthier. I decided I was going to patiently wait the 2/3 weeks and it should grow back a decent length to fade it again!So I went in to get a cut and excited as hell to get a proper fade again, I went in and KEVIN was free so I decided get cut by him. Told him my story, didnt want to touch the top, or the back at the top and to specifically fade from 1 at the bottom, to that length! He told me he knew what he was doing. He actually was a bit rude, not going to lie. Not even 5 seconds into the cut, and he pulls out the number 2 and chops it all off, thinking that it was a fade from 1-2 (EVEN THOUGH I HAD SPECIFICALLY EXPLAINED THAT WE WANTED TO KEEP THE LENGTH AT THE TOP FOR THE FADE) and he looked at me and said he knew what he was doing and let him do his job. So I patiently waited and he didnt do anything I asked. To top it off... He also cut the top...RAGING. Never ever let a barber tell you to let him do his job when you KNOW that his thought of your desired cut is not the same as what you want!Pros: Receptionist was darling

Excellent attention to detail. Good old fashion men’s barbershop with a nice atmosphere of guy talk. If your out of town the barbershop is in Suburban Station (Penn Railroad), so don’t walk and look street level using your phone. I’m from out of town and will plan my haircuts here when I’m in Philly.

Best barber shop in the city. $25 haircut and $25 straight razor shave. This place is pure old school. All of there barbers are great. Usually there is little or no wait at all. They use classic products and have plenty of cologne to spray on at no extra charge. I wish they were open on Saturdays or in the evenings. Great place if you want to get a cut and shave during the workday.

Another great haircut from Pat. A tad bit pricey (30 bucks for basic haircut) but he does a tremendous job. Real shave on the neck - not just clippers. Also can buy lottery tickets here.

Maybe a bit pricey for a barber cut? But its awfully convenient and I always get a good haircut!
