Seems like a pretty nice venue for a wedding reception or a party, we had a good time there. Restrooms on the second floor would have been nice. More parking is essential Thats what cost them a star.

The place is very nice, and for that I give them a good review. But, where I give them a bad review is being in a Pandemic and the venue is shut down because of the restrictions by the Government, we can not have our wedding here and The Felt Factory is very reluctant to give us our $2,000 deposit back because they said the deposit was non-refundable and non-transferrable but I can understand that if we cancel, but not if they can not provide a service to us. We are simply just asking for our deposit back. After going back and forth, I did get an email that said the owner is willing to give us half our deposit, will what about our other half of the deposit when we didnt cancel. Its not our fault that everything is shut down, All we are asking is for our deposit back. Dont put any money down until you know for sure that you are able to have your event for sure.Update as of 4/5/21, Yes I did receive HALF of my deposit back. Yes I tried several times to get all of the deposit back, but the Felt Factory only said they could give back $1,000 so of course I am going to take it. I am still trying to get the other $1,000 since the business is still closed and unable to render the service. I did see the response from the Felt Factory, but I want to make clear that I did not agree to having a future event as the response from the Felt Factory says. I do have an email from 2/4/21, that says they would give the $1,000 refund back but there will be no future event in 2022 like they are stated. They are trying to make it like the other half of the deposit will be going to a future event, but again that is clearly not the case.Like I originally stated the place is nice, but this company lacks customer service especially in a pandemic.

This is an extremely beautiful location to have a special event. I myself had my wedding here many many years ago when it was under a different name but Im certain the building has only gotten better. During this pandemic the idea of attending a wedding may simply be placed on hold, hopefully well be back to normal in a relatively short time. When that does happen I could highly recommend the Felt Factory for hosting parties, weddings, quinceaneros and everything else that makes life memorable. Enjoy!

Honestly, the BEST wedding venue I could have ever chosen! I am so happy with how smoothly everything went. The staff at the felt factory really take care of their bride and groom for the entire day. The food is delicious, and the venue is beautiful. They really made our day perfect. They even used some of my centerpieces on the pillars going down the altar to decorate my ceremony since I didnt think to get decorations for the ceremony.

Caitlin was great with going over everything for my event. The process was fast and easy! I was holding a small event and wanted to have my event in the smaller room but was told that on my date only the big room was available. I was skeptical and thought the room would be too big. It turned out amazing!! The decorations were simple but its just what I wanted. I didnt really get to eat but what I tasted was good! The cake was AMAZINGLY good. The staff even packed up the left over food for me to take home. Will use them again.

Had my wedding here May 24th, 2019 and it was amazing. Food was excellent, staff was perfect. Anything that I needed or wanted they provided. Emma and the Jose were perfect. Beware of their hidden fees on your contract read it carefully. Also their not flexible when it comes to decorations and a bride color scheme. I wasnt even offered food samples for our menu..Wow..Ask for taste for the your desired menu.. I was not pleased with food at all. It was bland it was not good at all..

I have been here for a sweet 16 and a funeral reception. Both were beautiful and tastefully done.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. We called them asking for availability for the 3rd and they said they were available all day. We also asked to bring our own food and they said it was alright. We made an appointment for today; mind you we live 40 minutes away, we come to the appointment only to find out that the had no availability on the 3rd because of a previously scheduled open house which they didnt mention in the phone call because it was on another calendar I was heart broken we left because it was a waste of time! I am extremely disappointed and even though the place is nice I would never recommend it to anyone because of the inconsistency.

Had my daughters high school graduation party here. The place was beautiful,the food was delicious( and Im usually picky),and the staff were friendly and very helpful. Loved it so much that Im now planning my mothers 70th birthday party for here. You will not be disappointed. It felt good to just show up and have everything executed exactly the way I envisioned it too.

It was great til when I want to pay some of the money down and it was someone else her name is Tracy for about a year Ive been paying on this party I never seen this lady in my life until I went to pay for it the last payment I didnt have the money and I told her I was coming on Wednesday to pay it thats when I started to see her anger. It was all a racial situation she is prejudice and I recommend black people do not eat at that place they just want our money and then tell us where to go stick it when we done they threw my food away, they didnt make us take the balloons home they pop all of the balloons the staff was so mean to us it was a horrible experience please do not give the people your money I beg you. I went up there today and they didnt answer the door when they finally answer the door they said I have to come back tomorrow This is going to be on Channel 6 action news

Its a nice venue for weddings and other important occasions. The servers are very professional and the food is delicious. My only concern is finding the location. Google map had us turned around for a good 20 minutes before finding the place.

HORRIBLE!! Upon my first visit I was so excited to have my event here. The woman I met assured me she would make my day seamless. She took into account EVERYTHING I wanted and even discounted me for things since my guest list wasnt super huge, and I couldnt get the room I wanted. Things went wrong when I came to make a payment. I was informed that the woman I signed the contract with, and felt comfortable communicating my needs too was let go. In my opinion I shouldve been notified prior to making payments that the person I signed a contract with would no longer be working with me. Also the need for customer satisfaction doesnt mean anything here. One of the staff members found my frustration amusing, which I found HIGHLY disrespectful since I was a paying for a service.They are all about a dollar. Even if it means losing a customer forever. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR EVEN THINK OF HAVING ANYTHING HERE AGAIN!

Was excited to host an upcoming event here based off the online photos and 4.5 Google reviews but that excitement faded when I visited the venue. First impressions are everything. I had an appointment for a taste test if I can even call it that for $25, i was served 1 plate of Luke warm food by a random staff member. The chef never came out to explain what I was tasting or how it was prepared. Not only that, but to my knowledge a tasting is when youre served a sample of different options to choose from to determine what items you want. Here that was not the case. So just fyi of what you get for a tasting The food was bland and nauseating at best. Then the lady showing me the venue kept reiterating the sample was $25 as if I came for a free meal, which was a total waste of money btw. I was then shown photos of the venue by her, which happened to be the same ones from google. As if I traveled all this way for that. 2nd the room I was told I had to have the event in based off my number of guests was currently being occupied by a party so i couldnt see the room. Then she kept asking me how I felt about the venue as if I was ready to sign paperwork based off a rushed unprepared showing. The place is nice, but for the amount of money I was willing to spend every detail should be on point. A patch of flowers was hanging off the flower wall and the place didnt smell fresh. Also if youre presenting a place to a potential customer you should be impressing me, making me want to spend my money with you. And that wasnt the case. I walked in excited and couldnt wait to walk out because it was an awkward showing and I didnt feel welcome. Needless to say i wont be spending my money here, given the first meeting I had.

My sister, her husband, and myself had our 50th birthday party here, this past Friday. And the place, aviance, food, cake, everything was very nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only reason why I didnt give it a 5 star, is because although the food buffet was for 2 hours, after an hour, the food was cold. But it was still good. I would recommend Romanos to everyone. The price is right, the place is right, and the food was good.

The staff was amazing, they waited on you hand and foot. and the food, the food was out of this world......I have been to many wedding venues throughout the city and this is by far one of the best I have attended. Nice venue for a milestone birthday or special event

I was there for a surprise party and the place is beautiful inside and the food is great.

First let me start off by saying Ive been to Romanos twice my first experience was nice the venue is very nice... food is good and some of the staff is great....but my last experience I watched a blatant display of ugly racism... An argument start between who I assumed was the manager (appeared to be a white woman) and the mother of the 16 year old that was having sweet 16 party (Jamaican). This started over allowing one more song to be played (final dance) at 1 am, not only did the management refuse but then started to throw out all the the remaining (paid for food) popping balloons and clean drinks (finished or not) while the party was still there, be mindful that this argument discussion went on for a good 20 minutes, whereas the last song was only 5 minutes (thats all that was being asked for). I am a SERVICE business owner myself and cant understand how this level of customer service would be allowed. I being an white male was horrified at the way this was handled. I was going to hold my next event there but I believe I will be taking my families business elsewhere.

I was here 10 years ago great place to have a reception then and now

I initially spoke with someone who was kind over the phone and set up an appointment. When I got there she handed me off to another woman who made me feel rushed while showing me the venue spaces, and was just not a people person or maybe she was having a bad day. Mind you, some rooms in this location are just really outdated and unattractive. I was surprised how shabby the ballroom they showed me for my wedding was. And the ladies bathroom on the first floor is really cramped and in need of renovations. I would not recommend this place!

If there was any other place to have been yesterday I was there yesterday Romanos is the best place to have an affair if you need to have one you would enjoy yourself and your guests will be happy to or like to thank the people at reminders for having me a lovely wedding Romano thats the name of the place punch it up on Google and youll see its lovely and I would like to thank everyone who came out to enjoy they self

My wife & I were married here November 2nd (couple Fridays ago). Months ago when Kathy was our wedding planner, things were going fantastic. She was excellent. She later got a promotion & our wedding was handed to someone else (I’ll be nice & not mention his name). Things turned sour at this point. We were initially told we had THREE entrees to choose from, which was suddenly cut to TWO (with a bit of attitude thrown at my wife in the process). Mind you: we were hit with this news THREE weeks before the wedding. So we had to contact 69 of the 154 guests who ordered salmon & tell them they had to change their order. Then, on our wedding day, the bartender was rude to my guests & there was a HUGE lack of hors doeuvres distribution to the wedding party (including me). Also, the caterers broke our expensive cake topper and the sassy wedding planner (again, won’t mention his name. You’ll all see for yourselves soon enough) showed little to no care about it and said, word for word, “If you send us a recept for it I GUESS we can reimburse you”. There’s several other issues we had but I won’t bother mentioning.The 2 stars I am giving this place go toward the actual venue itself. Sure, it’s kind of in the hood, but the rooms are fantastic. Big, modern and clean. Food was also solid. Might be the best wedding food I’ve ever had. If we get reimbursed for our cake topper, I’ll upgrade my review to 3 stars.

I would never recommend this venue. After a year and a half of planning my wedding and hearing from this venue that our wedding day will be the best day ever. Making my payments and asking all of the important questions, I feel like I was robbed of $10,200. Dirty rusty chaffing dishes which when we brought it up the manager emailed us how embarrassed she was and that she can assure us that it would be taken care of. My centerpieces were broken and could not be set up correctly. They never put my cake on top of my cupcake stand which led to one of my guest thinking that he was taking cupcakes and low and behold it was my custome cake. They didnt complete the set up and in the folder that was given to us was a list of everything that we would get for our cost. A maitre de was on that list which we didnt have. Our wine/champagne toast was never given. No one checked on us. The staff just stood around with no concern. To top it off we had to go back to the hall to pack our belongings. I also ordered a custom runner which was never returned. After many attempts to rectify the situation we were told to get an attorney.
