Being a Bouncer myself for another business, I had great service from their Bouncers and Bar Staff. Lots of hospitality and I really enjoyed my time with my lady friends which theyre actually regulars here. Would definitely love to work on Sundays there. 💯% Cobra Kai 🐍 Approved

MaryKate is the best bartender there. One of reason I go. She’s has great personality and out going. Can’t wait to see her again at Paddy Whacks on Welsh.

Lorilee is amazing, shes the best. Even when I started to panic over if I had enough food, she was totally honest and did not allow me to spend unnecessary money for things I didnt need. I would recommend anyone having a party, reception call her she will help you with everything

Paddyswacks is one of the best bar in northeast Philly. Alex and Mare always do a great job. Definitely have to check it out.

Marikate and Kelsi are the reason I come to Paddy Whacks. They are fast, enthusiastic, and have incredible work ethic. Their bar is the spot to be at and a hot spot on Sunday nights.

We stopped for a quick meal on our way home. It was anything but quick. Our drinks were mostly ice and came rather quickly but only once, no offer of refills. There was about 25 patrons. However the food came well done and so greasy it soaked the bun. The worst part was it took over a hour to get 2 burgers burnt oil chips and it was the wrong burger.

Too congested and the only reason I gave at least 2 stars was due to the bartender great vibes and stories. One of bartender at The sub floor over charged me for a long Island compared to the other bar locations just a few steps away inside of the bar. Smh

Went there on a monday night not sure on who was working behind the bar but got 4 drinks and tipped on my card then two days later I check my card and was charged TWICE one for the actual bill amount then an extra $25 that was enter manually .. never had that happen to me before and I work in the restaurant/bar industry so I’m confused why I was charged twice but I’ve already filed a dispute with my bank for it and just wanted to comment to make everyone aware to double check your card of what your being charged at paddy whacks so you don’t get double charged.

Love the live Irish music they have every Saturday afternoon.Nice atmosphere & better than average food.

Very clean and convenient place. They provide large meals and for affordable prices. We liked the meals very much and the staff were very amiable and chatty. Highly recommended.

Just had my wife’s 50th. This past Sunday in the new room at Patty Whacks Welsh. Everything was perfect. We had 49 people with plenty of room for more plus 2 guys playing acoustic. The food and service was awesome. Would recommend this venue for any event!!

Great bartending staff, decent DJ on Friday and Saturday nights. Good bar food. Bouncers definitely earned their keep the last couple times I was here. Patrons are usually well behaved, just a few troublemakers. Overall a good neighborhood bar.

Was there a couple of weeks ago for an event. Save your money, lorilee, I think thats her name was the rudest woman I have ever encountered. Never had cheesesteaks so dry. The cook walked by and all you smelled was marijuana. I would not recommend this place

I came in for lunch and ordered at 11:30, did not get my food until 12:20. I ordered a blackened blue burger cooked to med. I got a well done burger smothered in blue cheese dressing. A very cheap dressing at that. Taste more like mayo with a couple crumbles. I ordered a Guinness to drink and it was poured and given to me within 30 seconds. Fastest I have ever had a Guinness poured..record time. The chips were way salty and stale and the lettuce was old and wilted. I will not be back.....wait staff is very inexperienced! !

I called to ask if a menu item contained dairy. The response was “umm.. well.. it has a batter so there might be egg” 😑 Why do people think eggs are dairy? Just because something is in the dairy section of the market doesn’t make it dairy. O.J. doesn’t magically become dairy because the market had placed them in the dairy section next to the actual dairy products. 😑 The same goes for eggs. They are not dairy. I clarified this politely to the person over the phone and their next response was “oh, milk! No. I can’t imagine why milk would be in a batter. I don’t think there’s an issue with that”. 😑 I said “that’s so reassuring, thanks for your help” and hung up. WHAT IN THE WORLD MAKES PEOPLE THINK IT IS OKAY TO NOT TAKE AN ALLERGY SERIOUSLY? WHEN IT COMES TO A REACTION IT AIN’T EVEN ABOUT THAT ONE MEAL! If I eat dairy MY 👏 WEEK 👏 IS 👏 RUINED 👏. I will STARVE before I chance a reaction at ANY place that doesn’t take my allergy SERIOUSLY.

Packed shoulder to shoulder, no one wearing masks!

My family and I had such a great time ! We’re from NY and we’re visiting family here, they made us feel so comfortable great music and staff! They had a family friendly game named Quizzo with the owners mom Peg running it, it got the whole family involved! We wish they were in NY!

My 9 yr old love their spicy BBQ Wings. I called my order in Sat nite 8 oclock the place was packed, Casey was running food, the waitress had my order ready and the food was great. I live right around the corner my family always enjoys their food. Great work!! Thanks again.

I gave it three stars because the 22yr olds of the world love it. But at 30 not so much. Music was so loud that you had to yell to communicate with the person sitting next to you and to even order a drink. The group I was with was mixed ages and everyone over 25 agreed it felt like you were babysitting a room of children by the way the crowd acted. Or you felt entirely too old and out of place.

They gave away my friends debit care to another person who has the same last name but did not ask for the first name. They gave away the wrong card to someone else and said oh well they have to freeze it. They should not be able to handle debit cards if they can not give it to the right owner. People have jobs and have a living and they just give out to whoevere care to anyone any card.

If you want a mouth full of glass its definitely the place to go. Ordered a drink and ended up with four pieces of glass in my mouth. When we asked for the manager we were told he was too busy, they basically tried to just sweep it under the rug. When we finally confronted the manager he kicked us out for being disruptive. All around this is the worst bar I have ever been to and if you ever plan on going good luck and I hope you make it out with your tongue in one piece.

4 star in its class, this bar had a nice vibe, reasonably priced drinks, good bar food, and friendly customers. It did get quite loud inside and the drinks were not strong so I dropped a star but this is a great neighborhood spot.

Pretty loud music. And immediately walking in I disliked the strange smell. Like stale beer and a bar that hasnt been wiped down in years. Everything was sticky. SO STICKY. Our waitress wasnt very pleasant. I would not recommend.

I’ve passes this bar so many times (I go to the car wash next door) but never stepped foot in here until lastnight. A coworker wanted to get some drinks after work and suggested this spot. When I walked inside and sat down was immediately greeted and asked if I wanted to order anything. The music was at the perfect volume. Loud but not too loud that you can’t hear each other talking. I ordered fries with mozzarella cheese & I asked for garlic powder & old bae to be put on them but I think they gave me paddy’s seasoning instead. No complaints because they were some of the best bar fries I’ve ever eaten. I brought my wife some as well & even though they were cold by the time she got them she agreed so that’s saying something. This is my new fav bar. My only complaint is it’s no dj here you have to pay at the jukebox
