My Husband and I first time here and I must say, I LOVED EVERYTHING about this restaurant 🍽️ 😁. Great Customer Service when we arrived. We made Reservations. Our Waiter (Ernesto) was AWESOME. He was VERY Knowledge when it came to the food and different types of Wine. But most of all, he was very Professional. Food was DELICIOUS 😋. We definitely will be back!! Thanx for an Awesome first experience with you Folks.

I visit frequently usually for happy hour. Love the ambiance menu sections and of course the tranquil optic views of the Delaware River

I came here for dinner for the first time last night. Everything I had from the Mango Mojito to my Snapper Hemingway main course was fantastic. My waiter named Mike was friendly and attentive. The overall appearance of this restaurant is very clean and I felt very comfortable sitting in the cushioned chairs. Plus, you get a beautiful view of the ocean. I definitely recommend this restaurant and will come again the next time I am in the area.

Great views, knowledgeable and courteous servers, nice ambience and cool lighting. Sights of cruise boats and party boats sailing back and forth and then the food! Sumptuous! Steak was juicy and tasty 😋😜 you have to be there!

Possibly the best restaurant and service Ive ever had. Meal was perfection, from salad to dessert. The waitress did a phenomenal job. Staff was very patient and gave our large, rambunctious group the benefit of the doubt. For having to serve eight people, I cannot think of one thing that wasnt right. Bar none. Bravo. Its been years since Ive visited the Chart House. I was sorry to see the carpets were dirty and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls in various locations.The hostess and waitstaff were great and the food was good. My guest enjoyed the view and ambience.

If you’re looking for a place with a nice view and non edible food this is the place for you! Everything takes extremely long so you have plenty of time to look at the water. You’ll feel like You’re eating fresh out of the ocean since everything is extra salty. Go find another place to eat in the area.

Had an amazing time last night. The ambience was so beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious 😋 Me and my sis in law had a great time. Our Server Carol really made our girls night memorable.

I would absolutely recommend this place. The scenery is excellent. The ocean view is very romantic. The staff was very helpful, and courteous. The alcoholic beverages were mixed perfectly. The food, from appetizers to dessert, was delicious. All around excellent choice for an evening out.

The Food is exquisite but the lack on professionalism that was demonstrated by the manager ( of this location was disappointing. As a paying customer I expected better treatment. Not only was the manager aggressive and confrontational when ask to accommodate a group into a slightly bigger table be to have space for all of our plates. We were told we there were not any bigger table because all the tables were full, while two bigger tables right next to us were empty the entire duration of our dinner. I am big on honesty and that was a blatant lie and if I’m going to be paying the same amount as other customers I deserve the same treatment.

From the cancelation which got us in the door to a waterfront table with no reservation to the take-home key lime pie, it was a divine experience!As a customer service trainer and a restaurant manager for several years, I can say that Mary is one of the top service professionals for whom I have ever been a customer... globally. She was proactive, anticipated our needs, a genuine and effective communicator, and provided just the right amount of attention to make sure we didnt feel neglected but was not overbearing or interruptive.The roasted vegetable couscous was a surprise hit!-- it was bangin just as Mary said. And a perfect accompaniment to the shrimp stuffed with crabmeat. Oh yeah, and the spinach and artichoke dip with fresh tortilla chips also was delightful.

Pros: The food was very good, drinks creative and tasty, and the views wonderful. Cons: The service was horrible. It took two hours between ordering our entrees until they were served. During that time our server stopped by twice: one time to ask if we wanted another drink and again to ask us what we ordered. When I complained to the manager, she lied to us saying the delay was due to our order going to another table (I checked with the other table and that is not what happened). When I called the manager on the wrong table lie, she then said that it was the fault of our server.

This was my second Chart House experience, the other outside DC. This location as well as the aforementioned VA one were outstanding and exceptional in service and quality of food. My party of 4, all left the restaurant full and beyond satisfied. Will visit Chart House again. Only downside was I had inquired about the total number of current Chart House restaurants, and the hostess did not know.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience today!! Bday dinner party of 5 for a friend! Food came out late table full of empty glasses as the waitress is TRYING to put our food on the table! My calamari was fried HARD as hell and then I get told the kitchen is closed so pretty much I couldn’t get anything else to replace that ! Food was horrible the whole party of 5 ! And the waitress barely acknowledged us!!!!! Never again.. Oh let me not forget we ordered shrimp and they said they were out and we ordered mash potatoes and they were out of that also ! Drinks was watered DOWN !

Went on 8/30/21 with 8:30 pm reservations for 2. We celebrated my daughters 24th birthday. Ill make this review short and to the point . Food was delicious but service lacked.. our waitress was Donna and Im not sure if she was having an off night but she was very forgetful and forgot about us various times. Our appetizer we received during our dinner and only because i reminded her of our appetizer we had ordered which was the coconut shrimp. I wish the service was better with our waitress and it would have been a 5 star review .

This place has a beautiful view, lovely staff, and great food. I had my 22 month old and my 5 year old niece and the staff was very nice to them...they both had something to color and accommodations so I was very pleased...my mother also enjoyed herself....I had the salmon with some spice with lightly loaded mashed potatoes....I was a little skeptical about the portion size but that with the hot bread and butter (which was delicious!) was enough to fill me and the kids enjoyed their kids meal....the water views was a plus....I would of given it 5/5 if I was there at night due to the ambiance atmosphere 😊

Food was great but service was terrible. They must have say 5 tables by the bar with only 1 server who was also the bartender. Stop packing the building if you dont have the proper staff to run it.

Waitress was forgetful.. I received wrong drinks. Never got the coffee I asked for. My waitresses name was Brandi. We sat at the bar to wait for our table and the host forgot about us waiting.. Gave 2 stars because the food was great.

This was a night Ill remember for a. Long time. The food was excellent, cooked to perfection and my server was very knowledgeable of the menu. This was truly a top notch restaurant. The only negative was the party at the next table was so loud we could barely hear one another from a cross the table. Even with that Im looking forward to visiting again soon.

A little disappointed in the stuffed shrimp. Although very tasty, the shrimp was a little over cooked and the mashed potatoes were a little too salty for my taste. Appetizer was excellent and the lobster bisque was delicious also. I dont remember the exact name of the appetizer, something with spinach. The server was excellent also. Very attentive.

The food was delicious, My 14oz steak was cooked to perfection. The customer service was great. My only gripe is the long wait even with my reservation I had to wait Had to 45 min plus.

We decided to dine there to celebrate my husbands birthday. When we arrived and, was not greeted by the first hostess but, we let her know we had reservations. It took a while, with no further communication to us, for her to find it. She called over another hostess to seat. We were seated in the casual dining section and not the more formal dining setting. Once Michael, worst server ever, came to ask us what we wanted to order, I let him know that our seating was unacceptable. He assumed I was upset and began to tell me that I was angry. He then sent some waitress, with one yellow tooth, to our table. When she began talking, never introducing herself or apologizing. Just told her they were short-staffed which had nothing to do with my reservation and where I was sat. After she talked about her jobs shortcomings, she brushed us off with her hand. Ill never dine there again. Terrible employees with horrible attitudes.

A friend and I went for dinner to celebrate my birthday. Everything we ate delightful and the out door seating was a joy since the weather was exceptionally beautiful on this day. You will not be disappointed.

Took my husband there after a helicopter ride around the city. It was him and his twins birthday party was small and intimate. Wonderful food, ambience was nice just to dark for pictures

It was a stretch to give them 3 stars. Food was great. Service not so much. Our waitresses were ok. We had two due to the size of our party. I dont know if they were short staff or not, but everything took forever. More unsatisfactory was the manager. He literally walked pass our table every 5 minutes just looking. Never once said a word, just looking, very creepy. Most establishments the manager will at least ask how was/is everything, what are we celebrating, etc. Just nothing! I did not like the vibe at all from him. Not sure if Ill be going back. We paid too much money to be looked at all evening as if we didnt belong. Even if we paid $10, it was very unsettling. Treat people right!

Hands down the best food in Philly to me, my server Kyle was very nice and helpful throughout the whole night, has a nice view of the battleship NJ, very nice and long selection of drinks, and the place is very nice and quiet.

Horrible customer service, I contacted them 3 weeks prior to my birthday to schedule a birthday dinner and nobody ever returned my phone call. They took my info down and everything, but I’m assuming because of my race they didn’t have any urgency to call me back . So I will not be giving this business any of my money . They pick and choose who they want to accommodate

Marissa (our server) and Kyle (our bartender) did excellent jobs in providing exceptional customer experiences. We came for our second anniversary and I could not possibly say we were disappointed. The staff was impeccable in every sense. Dear Marissa, bless your soul.

Tonights dinner was amazing! Customer service is everything, and this is something this location lacked. Not only was the night manager on duty confrontational with the person who booked the reservation for our 6 people, she wouldnt accommodate for the original 8 that we requested for, and was screaming at her staff at the front desk. As we waited for our food, the table next to us who arrived after us received their bread, appetizer and dinner way before we did. The entire time there were two sections open that accommodated the original 8 we requested and we were not accomdated with that seating because it was reserved yet the entire dinner time the seating was open. We arrived at 7pm and at 8:40pm we were still waiting for our main course. Not to leave out that we were seated for 6 since the 8 would not be accommodated and were provided with a very small table where eating comfortably was not an option- no space for our appetizers and we had to relinquish our waters in order to make room. Towards the end of our dinner the reserved 9 person table arrived and they were seated with no issues with only 3 people when they told us we could not be seated until our entire party arrived. You can judge for yourself, but I felt it was necessary to share our experience. The view is beautiful and the location is beautiful as well as the food being good, but it does not out weight the customer service experience.

3 and 1 half stars. Great staff. Great service. Great location. Great dining views. The food is bland (both my dish and my husbands dish) but id go again simply for the atmosphere.

We prefer to sit at the bar as appose to a table yet the serve was top notch as Mike the bartender handle us above and beyond that of a waiter. The Signature drinks were well made and the food as usual was excellent!

Our journey began well at the Chart House, with the beautiful view and lovely setting. Warm bread and exquisite Clam Chowder had my expectations high for the entre, but alas, my hopes were dashed by so-so salmon and woody asparagus. Happily we came to shore with the delightful lava cake, quite enough for two to share. A meal this pricey should be smooth sailing, not piracy.

Through the service was excellent, the food and ambiance was not up to par. I didnt enjoy my meal as much. The restaurant needs to be renovated and create a better menu. I wouldnt recommend Chart House restaurant to my friends and family.

This place is very beautiful, but the service is the worst. The waiter didn’t treat us right took him for ever to serve us and also kept all my money and for his tip. The bathroom was horrible 😤 the toilets dirty and no paper towels or anything to dry your hands. Last time I go there.

Visually it is a nice place. Appreciate the free parking. Overall the service was pretty slow. It cost me $161 on a prime rib, new york strip, 5 coconut shrimp and 3 alcohol beverages, the salad bar was a little messy and not well kept. Atmosphere wasnt cozy. I had better meat at a chain restaurant. Basically not worth the money at all. Sorry.

Chart House never disappoints! We celebrated a birthday and everything was perfect. The seafood was delicious. The waitress that serviced our table was pleasant and very attentive. Make sure to request a table next to the windows to enjoy the beautiful view of the water. This has become our go to place for special occasions but any time is a good time for Chart House!

Came out to the Chart House here because we wanted to try a different one other than in Weehawken and it was Valentines wknd and was running a little behind because there was an accident on 95 so I called and spoke to the receptionist and she wasnt the most helpful because I gave her my name and at 1st they couldnt find it then she found, then she says well we only give a 15 min grace and you will ABSOLUTELY have to be in here by 10 because it was the last sitting. Mind you I was less than 2 miles away from there.Got there within 10 min and walked in and very nice location. Sits on the water and nice ambiance but that was about the best of the night. They sat us fairly quickly and the waitress Marrisa came over and took our app and drink order. Very pleasant which was good. Brought the drinks out which I had a Long Island Iced Tea premium and it was very good. She then brought out the app which was a shrimp cocktail but had to wait for her to come back around because they didnt have lemon wedges for the shrimp which is a small thing but it should have been on the plate. She then went and got us some wedges.We then ordered dinner which they didnt have a good selection of fish dishes so my wife ordered the flounder and crab dish with asparagus and mash ($36) and I ordered shrimp and scallops with rice ($39). Waited for about 25 min and when the dishes came out they were luke warm. The bottom of the plate was very hot indicating the dishes were placed in the microwave. They must have sat at the pass too long and tried to get over by bringing it out. We immediately called the waitress over and advised her that the food wasnt hot at all so she went and got the manager and other than try and rectify the issue she just decided to take the flounder dish off instead of making my wife a new HOT dish. Poor customer service because we would have rather they make a new dish than just take off the bill.In the meantime of all of this you have the raw bar staff loudly talking and cursing about what they will and will not do while walking back and forth from the raw bar. Very unprofessional for the staff to be heard by the customers.At this point they brought the Lava cake which was the best part of the dinner. After we ate the lava cake we asked for the bill because by this time Marissa was no longer interested in seeing if we wanted another cocktail or not. Guess because the flounder dish was taken off the bill and her tip was going to be short. I paid the $100 bill for a mediocre dinner and after we paid the bill I no longer saw her which indicates again the manager and her staff know little about customer service.In the end I dont think I would come back to this Chart House. I would go to Weehawken, NJ where the service is superb.

Went there to celebrate our anniversary and it was delightful. We took advantage of the Restaurant Week special dinner, with crab stuffed shrimp and salmon entrees. Delicious! We were even given a anniversary card when we arrived. Very thoughtful.

Food was good, service was great. I had the tuna tacos for an appetizer, and grilled mahi-mahi for my entree. I would absolutely get them both again.

One of the best restaurant to dine with a view of the river and especially the Battleship New Jersey. The staff are super friendly and very attentive. Food is so good. Went here for my birthday and the staff went to great miles to make it memorable and enjoyable. Here we signed up the Landrys Club saving us $25.00 on our next dining at Charthouse. Highly recommend.

I was there for a wedding, first day they reopened as well. The New England clam chowder was perfect, taste and portioning. Only ate the croutons from the salad, definitely dont eat like a rabbit 😅. Shrimp fresca was bomb. And NY style cheesecake was delicious as well.

We came to Chart House as a recommendation from our Hotel that’s a short walk away. I was with my boyfriend and cousin visiting from MD for the day, we decided to stay the night since we hadn’t finished exploring & were in jeans and sneakers.We walked in the door and the gentleman handling Valet chased us down to inform us we could only walk in if we had a reservation! We thanked him for the info and walked in anyway to try our luck. We were greeted by Michael Burnight (we later learned is the manager) and he informed us that due to it being Valentine’s Day weekend the restaurant was completely booked and they were unable to seat us. Which we understood completely, however we could clearly see the restaurant was not full. We left feeling as if they didn’t want to seat us from the beginning and searched online to check their open reservations. They had about 5 reservations left. This was at 7:40p so we decided to make a reservation for 8p and called around 7:50p to confirm our reservation was made.At 8 we arrived for our reservation and the hosts were shocked to see us back in as we informed them we had a reservation. After about 5 min of them scrambling trying to “fit” us somewhere because, again, they were “packed” we were seated. They stuck us in a corner near the kitchen and even though we were so close to the kitchen our food took 45 min. to come out and was just OK. (Filet Mignon & Stuffed Flounder) Our drinks took 20 min to arrive and the glass of the martini I ordered was sticky all over making anything else I touched sticky as well, instead of asking for another to wait 20 more min I just asked for a damp cloth.This was such a horrible experience beginning to end with inadequate management! I will NOT recommend anyone to Chart House and will let our Hotel know not to recommend this place either.

Good food worst service ever over rated place we will not be returning. Where rushed into leaving and food was just good not worth the prices of a fine dinning experience. Rockell the waitress was amazingly BAD forgetting order Bringing check to the table way before we were done our meals apologies got old after the 5th time. Do not waist your time here. Even after a complaint was made about a not so molten chocolate cake management didnt seem to care enough to come talk to us.

My husband and I had an incredible experience. The bartender/waiter was the bomb. Kind, professional and knowledgeable of the dishes. I liked the firecracker shrimp appetizer but not the fried deviled eggs. The steak my husband had was incredibly delicious and flavorful. Cooked perfectly medium. I tried to steal it to I avail. Mine was Pittsburgh style medium rare. I prefer his because you could enjoy the full flavor without all the char. We enjoyed the view as well. I recommend and we will return to this location. For sure.

They setup a tent on their patio area, by the river, and table spacing was perfect. Micheal was our server, Id recommend him. I hope you enjoy it, as much as I did.

Husband took me here for Mothers Day. My first time and definitely last time visiting. Service was terrible, rude non attentive service. Everything came out cold.. and late. Very disappointing. $58 for some basic salmon and rice that I sent back.
