Absolutely terrible, we called the company for a business grease trap service and we got charged for something they never did. A few days later our grease trap was overflown with smelly sewer water and tried calling the company numerous times and they were unresponsive. Horrible experience I do not recommend unless you want to get ripped off.
Get a price before you let them on your property. They charged $350 more than their competitors for draining my septic tank. My fault for not asking the price beforehand, but I had ask a few others before calling Pop a Lid and none could get to us in a time we could be at home. The three other companies I had called all quoted $300-$350 less than Pop a Lid.
This company quite literally never answers their phone during business hours. Ive been calling trying to set up a gray water removal for the past 3 weeks but no one ever answers, emails or calls back. Id love to give them consistent business but they dont seem to want any.
I scheduled a service and waited two hours for a no show. I called and finally got a guy who said he had run into some issues and couldn’t come till later that day.I said I understood and rescheduled for the next week. He said he could meet me first thing. Here I am waiting yet again - no show - no call. Twice bitten... moving on
Great experience with Alex and the Pod A lid team! From the secretary squeezing us in last minute, all the way to the service itself. Honesty is hard to find these days. I highly recommend them!
Good service, called before arriving, showed up on time. Alex the technician did a great job and helpful answering my concerns. Price quoted was the price I paid. Would use again.
Quoted the lowest price of 4 places we called, but then came up with extra charges that added $200 to the bill. Charged to locate the septic system even though I showed them exactly where it was (with above-ground access). Charged for extra hose length. Even charged for digging when I did the digging to access the other access holes even though the whole tank is connected.Their truck left marks all over my driveway and a huge oil stain from their truck engine.Quoted price: $350. Actually charged: $540.Price quoted was for 1500 gallon tank. They knew it was a 1500 gallon tank. Their excuse for overcharging? Well, sometimes a 1500 gallon tank (made of steel, by the way) actually holds 1700 gallons.
Very courteous and professional. Good explanation of the service. Very thorough. Honest. And..they are a small, family-owned Austin business.
Awesome service, reasonable prices, very professional technician. Would definitely recommend!!
Our savior! We are getting ready for a big open house and of course our septic backs up! Alex was out in an hour, earlier than promised, and it was all fixed in no time. Thank you!
