This is actually a fast and efficient Amazon location. Never had any issues with this location on a pick up or delivery. Revised 04/11/2021 So to date I have taken several tote loads from BO12 to LAS1 and the wait for this Nampa location has been over 10 hours to take a trailer back down to Henderson NV. Driver beware but these are optional so it will not affect my rating. Luxury of being an Owner Op.
I work here and its an awesome place but constantly changing so its a bit confusing sometimes but overall a great place to work at.
Great place to work. Very demanding but love the challenge @
Since Amazon is the largest company in the world, and has facilities and hundreds of thousands of employees around the globe it is a rather good place to work. Unfortunately, these numerous employees seem to funnel Amazon HR into a silo where there is no wiggle room for the vagaries of the individual employee.
That Amazon really really bad i going check in 12:00 and they said you have to wait in one hour or 4 hours I said it’s ok and then I just keep waiting 19:00 they already loaded it but light is red i just try to talk office they don’t care I just wait again so 21:00 they charge the light so I be waiting in hare almost 9 hours I hate it this Amazon
Im a trucker. This Amazon location has their act together. Long driveway so trucks are not hanging out in the street. I was in and out in an hour.
Its amazon! its big and shiny and a pretty awesome building. I gave it three stars for a couple reasons. One is the green mile. Not the movie about the inmates on death row. Yet while I worked there during the caronavirus pandemic, I kept feeling like I was matching to my death. There is one entrance, so people are passing each other constantly between going to break and clocking in. Its a big building! You would think there would be a flow of traffic and an entrance and an exit in different locations. The other reason? I was hired to do a job. I was assigned to do inventory, which I had a background in. However when I got there they had me sit through 2 different orientations, then placed me in shipping. Later someone came and pulled me from shipping and put me in packaging. if I wanted a job where I dont move around and am in one place I would work at a call center, where I would at least be given a chair. At Amazon you are standing in one place for 12 hours. Hopefully they make some changes.
I like my job. Good pay for Idaho and its just up the road from me. Apply online today
It is good for loading loc. and early accept but 4 hours waiting and well organize. Why I gave them one star, because When I book to LAS2 location (las vegas) if you have own trailer. Dont book it. When you go to las2 very small and tight location. They will hold your trailer up to 72 hours. So you will ruin at least 2-3 days. If you want to reset in las vegas and pay hotel. Yes do it. But. I hope dont book las2 load.Updated. Las2 location unload after 12 hours. Then there are off site locations.4220 Donovan Way, North Las Vegas, NV 89030. Like 5min cross highway. I like it this way but if I dont need to reset and book other load, it can be big damage scheduling.
Watch out with doing live load here 9hours normally to load you if you are going to LAS VEGAS and more than 2 days unloading you trailer down there don’t book that for cheap price but people are nice at least
If your looking for a job, read the fine print, be prepared to not actually choose anything
The HR department needs a serious attitude adjustment. Their unwillingness and absolute refusal to make sure their employees aren’t the short end of the stick when their automated system messes up is really something that the Founder and CEO Mr. Jeff Bezos needs to look into personally. I understand he’s an extremely busy person but in the case the fact that HR relies completely on a system that is known for time errors and frequently miscoded time spent at work is beyond unacceptable. It’s down right neglectful and heartless. An employee should be able to contest the findings of a system known for its faults. And HR should do everything in their power to make sure that these grievances are properly addressed and resolved with an unbiased and moreover an open mind.
Best place to work if you want to have your day to day efforts recognized and rewarded. I have worked at a lot of different jobs and none of them compare to how Amazon takes care of their employees.
Lots of parking and the people were pleasant enough. Brought a load 4 days early.
I worked here for 2 weeks: here’s my experience with Amazon. The online application process is extremely easy and seamless. After completing the application, you are directed to set up a drug test and background check. Walking into the recruiting office you are greeted with friendly staff whom seemingly love their jobs and are excited to see fresh faces. In my personal experience, I got the job on the spot and was told via email that I would be starting the following Sunday. I completed the confusing online training, and was excited to start my new journey at a high paying job that offered benefits. Perfect fit for a college student right? After arriving at my first day on the job, we were sorted out into our “training groups” and prompted to follow our so called “trainer”. In my personal experience, my “trainer” took us upstairs, gave us our gloves and radio, and then told us to go to station. The picking stations have screens which teach you very thoroughly what you’re going to be doing for work. It’s a very simple process, which is extremely easy to master. On our second day of “training” (we were told to go to station and then were being watched) I was doing my job when a manager walked up to me and proceeded to yell my name very loudly and startled me. When I turned around to respond, my mask fell below my nose, and she proceeded to yell at me and say “first of all, the virus is extremely serious and there’s a girl who walks around the AR floor and if she sees your mask down like that ever again she’ll fire you on the spot. AND you forgot an item in a tote. We’re a customer based company and we can’t be if you forget items. I’d hate to have to fire you if it happens again. Be more attentive.” Hearing this was extremely off putting, and put a huge damper on the rest of my 10.5 hour shift. After working there for 2 weeks, i can easily say that you are yelled at, treated and talked to like slaves and prisoners, and mentally abused. NOT a good work environment whatsoever. Not to mention how hot the facility is, or how weird the night shift employees are.I’m sure there are plenty of people whom are happy to be working there, but throughout my time at the company I have met more people who hate their jobs.Moral or the story is: not everything is as good as it seems and the bad rumors about the company are all 100% true.
Its hot but the people are generally pretty personable
Great place to work at. I just started working here a few days ago and I love their caring management. They truly want you to succeed.
Well if their recruitment center was more efficient getting back after you apply and not do this durational month-and-a-half waiting did you do your background check and drug test oh they be perfect but theyre taking forever and theyre still not done and its over a month and a half
I like this place so much I spend 50 to 60 hours a week here
It was nice in the beginning than it was a mess. They will let you go because of a family emergency! They will say you punched in when you know FOR SURE that you didnt! I was let go because of a family emergency situation . The people are nice and friendly and helpful the first week, after that your on your own to figure it out. I enjoyed working there until I had a emergency situation and then they let you go! Be careful if you do want to work at a place like this!
Drivers just be forewarned before you sign that load confirmation live loads could and lately have been up to 5 hours wait time so pack a lunch odds are good that you wont be out for awhile
Theres a lot of talk about Amazon on both sides. But until you are actually on the inside you dont realize just how different it is in all the best ways. I currently train new Amazonians and I tell them the same thing Ill say here: This is unlike anywhere youve ever worked before. This is Amazon!
Very friendly staff and overall amazing career choice. Great location and even better team-mates.
Welcome to hell! The most miserable place I have ever worked.
I am constantly baffled and saddened by Amazon’s complete lack of respect for the truckers time and pay. Sitting for more than six hours at a warehouse for a live load is absolutely unacceptable.I do not get paid to sit at a location, I get paid while to tires are rolling.Amazon should be ashamed that this is a “pretty typical amount of time for a live load” as the gate attendant said.I could’ve dropped this trailer off last night, gone home, slept, gone to breakfast and gone shopping in the time it took them to have my trailer ready.
Hard work but can provide great experiences.
I Love working for Amazon! My new position here is multifaceted and I am enjoying learning all the positions in this new department. 😁
I was there from Washington to help launch site. Everyone was so nice. I hope tgey do good.
Great place to work
Very good personal
Not just because I work here, but the fact that everyone is nice even the leads. Its great working here.
Great Place To Work. It Can Become Very Busy From The Employees During Break & Lunch Times. One Thing That Could Use An Improvement Is For The Building To Not Be Warmer Than It Currently Is Set At With Temperature On The Inside.
It all about Amazon prime week. 21 to the 22 of June.
Boi2 its ok but they can be slow to check you in. Specially when they have new people at the gate. I just go drop n hook at this place.
Its a nice place to work with great people.
Positive place to work
Pay your fair share In taxes....
Good place to work
4 1/2 hrs n counting to get loaded. Oh n btw. Not even in a door yet.
I dont like it
Delivered some food to a customer who works here
Theres good team there, only I will say stop forcing drivers to shut off the truck, some trucks may die in your drive way or entrance, also some times the engine is too hot to shut down and if you do engine damage may happen, so will check how long the driver will remain there if its just a minute let them move but if its long process and you dont hear each other or its about you and team safety Yes do it.
Applied for a job here. Was told I had a job here, and then they basically put me on hold until they have a spot for me, which could be months. I havent even started working for them yet and I already hate them.
Fun place to work
I work here and I love it!!!!
Never go back again 24hour delivery
We need more pick up and drop off places
