Our kiddos love everything about this place. The instructors have become like family to us. Its a great program with lots of activities to choose from. Martial Arts, Summer Camp, Themed Parents Night Out (our favorite), After-school care & coming soon Warriors Christian Academy. You can even plan a birthday party here, your kiddo will be able to cut the cake with a real sword & keep it afterwards.

We are so happy that we found Vortex. My son always looks forward to participating in class. Its helped to keep him focused and is a great outlet to exert his 4 year old energy. We have done trial classes at other places, but nothing or no one compares to Sempai Natalie. The crew at Vortex are the best and we highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to enroll their child in karate.

This is an amazing place for children and adults alike! The staff are amazing and really know how to work with kids! I cannot recommend this place highly enough for anyone in the area!

Signed a 6 month contract for a martial arts class 4-4:45, about 6 weeks in the class changed to 3:55-4:20 of martial arts instruction (I could barely get my daughter there by 4, thus she was now guaranteed to be late everyday), then 4:20-4:45 of character education in their back day-care room. When I asked for a pro-rated refund (Im not unreasonable, just thats not what we signed up for).... they threw the absolutely no refunds clause in their contract back in my face. As a black belt in a different style I didnt want my bias to be my daughters so I let her try it - their deceptive business practices are what drove me to write this review - completely unreasonable, then tried to lecture me on the importance of this classroom character instruction for my daughter... The nerve, to tell me my daughter needs HIS character education... Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!!

I started in the adult class a while ago and the instructors are great! They are so patient when I dont understand something, breaking each movement down for me. Everyone welcomed me into the class and I was able to jump right in like I hadnt missed anything!Im consistently impressed with how the instructors interact with the kids. They keep them engaged and excited about the lessons, the kids are always looking forward to going to classes.

Awesome place and great instructors. I put my son in at age 6 best thing I ever did he was extremely shy before I signed him in and now he is a social butterfly. Not only is he learning self control but he is also learning to respect others. Shihan is the main instructor who teaches my son and I could tell he enjoys what he does because he takes his time with every child to make sure theyre doing their best and putting your best foot forward. He has great energy which is a good thing because as long as youre showing positive energies the children are going to enjoy being there. As for Miss Natalie she doesnt personally work with my son but she does work with the after school children and I do see has fun learning activities for them. And of course I cant forget the program manager Miss Ashley she always greets me with a big smile every time I take my son for the evening classes that always makes me feel welcome. Not only do the help with the children enrolled with them but they also help the familys. I espically love the parents night out days it gives my husband and I time to ourselves which is always a plus. Over all the instructors are awesome and my son enjoys going to vortex.

My son started classes in October so far hes loved every class and all his instructors. I love the fact that hes learning how to focus and working off all his extra energy. One of the best decisions Ive made.

Classes are very energetic! Teachers do a great job at encouraging and making sure no child is left out which is perfect for my shy younger sister.

I cant say enough about the amazing staff. Shihan and the Sinpies are wonderful along with the office staff. I would recommend Vortex Martial arts of Pflugerville to anyone looking for an activity for the children teen or adult.
