I lived at Rohoic Woods for a year and I truly miss the community. The staff was friendly and the maintenace was always up to par! Compared to the placed I moved to Rohoic Woods was close to luxury living in this area. If youre lloking for a place to stay and call home this is the place to go!

The Rohoic Wood Apartments and Townhomes are a nice place to live. The grounds are kept up and well maintained. I really like that this property have a pool, tennis court, and a new playground.The office staff are friendly and helpful.I just want to say that I appreciate the service that Sarah and the maintenance men give me whenever I call the office.They truly take a lot of pride in the appearance of the complex. Every maintenance call request I have placed has been handled either the same day or within 24 hours.I always see the office manager and maintenance on property. The times the office manager has seen me, shes been very nice and asks how things are going. The manager and personal also do events for all the residents.Im so grateful that this place has been more than I ever expected regarding apartment living. The value exceeds all other propertiesin my surrounding area and I will gladly challenge you to find a location that has an office staff and a maintenance department committed to fulfill your concerns in the most professional manner..

I just moved in last month but so far its been awesome. The staff is super and Patti went above and beyond to ensure I was accommodated. I had a ruff move in day. Raining, rental truck I reserved wasnt available that morning, dropped my phone at the gas station, forgot my password to my storage unit and left my driver license in my truck. Called Patti at 4:45 on my way there to find out the office closes at 5p and she informed me i85 was shut down due to a accident which allowed me and my movers that were following me to detour in enough time. However I didnt make it to the office until 5:30p. Patti waited for me with my keys. The staff also fixed my refrigerator that I had an cosmetic issue with. Noise level in the apartment is at the minimum. Friendly neighbors, plenty parking, grounds keep clean. The apartment can use some general upgrades but for the price it is nice and efficient.

I love Rohoic wood because the Management and office staff (Sarah, Patty and Katie) are super friendly and professional! Any maintenance issues are always handled really quickly and theyre friendly as well. I really love how well kept the grounds are! Its also a really calm and peaceful place to live! Overall, great affordable place to live! Just starting my second lease and couldnt be happier about living at Rohoic Wood!

I lived in Rohoic for 10 years and enjoyed every minute of it! The staff are super awesome and like family, the grounds are always manicured, and the buildings are maintained very well! I loved the safe and secured feeling I had while living there and enjoyed my friendly neighbors and the amenities on the grounds. My experience living in Rohoic Wood Apartments was very pleasant. It was always quiet and peaceful. The management and staff were also very helpful and polite. Chrystal helped me through the transition from my previous residence to Rohoic. She was very knowledgeable and willing to help throughout the process. I definitely would recommend Rohoic Wood Apartments to anyone interesting in renting.

I moved here with the thought of signing a year lease and then moving out. That did not happen. Instead I signed another year lease for my fourth year living here at Rohoic. They must be doing something right. The apartment I moved into was clean. The grounds are kept clean. The grass is better looking than the yards I used to have. Ha!. Any issues I have come across have been handled with no issues. There have been requests for maintenance issues and they were taken care of in a timely manner. I have had interaction with the ladies in the office numerous times whether it be for a maintenance issue or just to have a conversation and they have always been pleasant to deal with. Sarah, Crystal and Patty are welcoming and easy to talk to. That means a lot! I like it here. You will too.

Living here for 11 years has been a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Anytime we had a question or needed anything fix it was done in a timely manner. Chrystal and Patti has always made it a point to ask if everything was going and if we have any problems just yet them know. Great Job. Keep up the good work.

The management staff are all incredibly nice and extremely helpful, they really care about their residents. The grounds always look nice and when it came to snow, they were always two steps ahead in terms of salting and plowing. The apartments themselves are solid, spacious (the closets are the largest I have ever had) and very well built as well as maintained. I have two small children and we have always felt safe and enjoy to two small parks and pool.

Rohoic Wood is a quiet and safe neighborhood. Sarah, Patty, and Crystal run the office efficiently. They are always eager to help you solve any issues that may arise. The maintenance crew handles all repairs in a timely manner. The community is friendly and welcoming. I encourage anyone moving to the Tri Cities area to check here first!

The staff at Rohoic are like family! They have been a part of my familys life for over 10 years! Sarah, Patty, Crystal, Vic, Marco and the other maintenance staff are all so very friendly and accommodating. Work orders are always completed in a timely manner and they always follow up with a phone call to ensure things were done correctly. I would highly recommend Rohoic to anyone looking for a safe and friendly place to live!

Lovely apartments/townhouses. Its pet friendly and it is well maintained. Any issues are fixed in a timely manner and its family friendly. Prime location with Colonial Heights being only a short drive away.

I’ve been here a year, Enjoyed my stay but must go. If you would like a quiet & clean place, I would Give it 4 stars. If you want privacy then get a house.

I lived there a year. Loved the town homes. Generally quiet. Clean. Quick response on repairs. The office staff are phenomenal. Patty, Crystal, and Sarah always have a smile ready.

My family and I have lived in the townhomes for four years. The neighborhood is quiet with friendly residents. All of the staff are helpful and friendly. I have recommended a few family members and friends to this community over the years and will continue to do so.

Living here is a wonderful. I have stayed in other apartments complexs but nothing as nice as here. The grounds are well maintain, the appearance is so nice and this goes to say that your job is never done and what I like about you is that you always make time to listen and not putting me off and I thank you for that because I know that you feel my concerns when I am talking. On many occasions Ill see you walking around grounds with your pad taking notes and pointing things out. Just keep up the good work!Sincerely,Rodney Graves

Alright place. Definitely the best in the area should you be out here.Condition of the property is fair. Great appliances should you have a newly refurbished unit. Well insulated as well for both winter/summer. Relatively low electricity billsFront office is nice enough. They will enforce the rules if you expect them to.I had a bass dispute with neighbor. Lease explicitly says no subwoofers allowed. Neighbor claimed incorrectly (or knowingly) that their all in one speaker system didnt have a subwoofer/bass option. It did. Apartment management didnt seem keen on enforcing the bass issue at first, asking me if it was past quiet hours and if so to call the police even though I was extremely terse and to the point that it was a bass issue and not a noise issue.Finally I complained enough to them that they went into the neighbors unit and sure enough it did have built in sub with a bass setting. There isnt much noise pollution that crosses through the walls that arent bass. Walls seem thick enough.The city of Petersburg isnt the greatest (ghetto is a better word) and Colonial Heights itself is pretty run down as well. If one is unfortunate enough to live out here either for commute time or work, this is probably the best place you are going to get.Cannot blame the apartments for these though, so Ill give it a good four stars. One thing that they could do better is if you live in the townhouses, is to change the parking standard to not allow parking along the curb any longer. Too often to is there complete idiots that dont understand how to park such as attached in the picture. Its pretty much every day and makes getting out of ones spot obnoxious. Examples such as in my picture are not uncommon.

Everything that glitters aint gold! The ladies are nice, the complex looks nice and clean....looks can be deceiving. I moved into my apartment and the first thing I noticed was that the carpet was in horrible shape, there were Pet stains all over and looked like bleach stains in the second bedroom. I knew these were Pet stained because I have a dog. I told the ladies at front about this and their response was to get a rug. WOW. I had to shampoo my carpet once a month to rid the stains for a while, sometime more often if I had guests. At the time of my move out, I found out that the last 2 residents had multiple animals! My allergies were very server here and I didnt know why, well I didnt find out until the end of my lease that I had cat allergies and one of the previous leasers had a cat! The Manager should have replaced this carpet. One of the window seals were chewed up and it was painted over! I showed the Manager this and she had one of the Maint. guys come fix it. It should have been fixed before I moved in! It took 2 weeks for the guy to come and fix it. Whoever the painter is is horrible! My mirrors had paint drops everywhere, it looked like toothpaste, it was gross and embarrassing. The Maint guys dont fix anything. My sink was broke my whole year here and they worked on it multiple times. Sad. Kids are EVEYWHERE! They do not move out of the way when cars come. Be prepared for basketballs and skateboards to roll in your way when youre driving. Most of the smaller kids are not supervised by their Parents and run into the drive way without looking. The neighbors I spoke to are not happy here. People move out of here just as fast as they move in. Theres no consequences for loud noise other than a phone call, so be prepared to knock on doors as I had to do or call the Police as my neighbor did if you have disrespectful neighbors.The price for these apartments are outrageous, theyre in the country for one. If youre scared of Spiders and lizards, dont move here. The most powerful outdoor bug sprays dont work here. The Management here is Piss Poor! The last guy that owned the complex was awesome and everyone loved it here. Not sure where the good reviews are coming from on the other sites, must be family members or somethings. Sarah, the Manager, her attitude is horrible. She acts as if she is Gods gift to Earth, like shes better than everybody especially the Residents. Her dad owns the Complex and made her Manager. I think she lives in the town homes and drives 20 feet to the front office everyday. Save yourself the headache and go Crater Woods. Good luck to you Future Leasers, Hope you have a better experience than i did.
