April was my stylist and she did such an amazing job! I have thick wavy hair and as anyone who has that kind of hair can appreciate, it is difficult to find someone who can cut thick hair and make it look amazing. Well let me say, April outdid herself! If youre looking for great value and talented stylists, Shear Reflections is the salon for you.

My experience with Kathy at shear reflections has been amazing! I never leave unsatisfied with the end results in my hair. Kathy once did a color correction on my hair when it was red and transformed it into a blond! This took her more than 8 hours to do! She also makes sure to keep my hair healthy and never cuts my hair too short! I always get what I ask for! She has many before and after pictures of other clients hair that are mouth dropping results! She always makes me want to try a different style or color with all the great work she does. I highly recommend her and this salon!

Love this salon! I usually see Kelli but everyone is wonderful! Jenni and Andrea do my kids hair and I even sent my Dad to Kim. They all take great care of patrons and are friendly and fun while they do it!! Scheduling is easy and the salon is easy to find with great parking always available.

Been going to Jenny for over a year now. Love her. Always listens to what I want before we get started, and I always walk out happy. She now does my BFF, my mom and both my kids! Try them, you wont be sorry.

I love this place. Ask for Cathy for the best hair color and cut. It is worth the drive! I used to have long stringy hair I only cut once a year. Not anymore! Thanks for the boost in self confidence and motivation to take care of my hair. A good hair cut makes more difference than I thought it would.

Absolutely love this salon! I got so lucky finding the best salon in town on the first try after moving here. The work is so amazing and the prices are so amazing I have friends driving from the other side of the valley to get appointments here.

The employees are experienced and know what theyre doing. They are not afraid to give their opinions about what they think will help achieve or even improve what youre looking for and their top priority is the health of your hair. They are very nice and happy to chat. A little pricey but its to be expected.

I have never gone here and I absolutely dont plan on it after seeing what happened to my friend when she got her hair done. The dye job was not at all like the picture of what she wanted. And after going back to the salon to get her hair toned, rather than simply toning her hair the stylist completely took the color out and returned her hair to a blonde, which is not what she asked for at all. And rather than fixing the mistake, the manager decided to yell at my friends mother for pointing out what the employee did wrong. She deserves a full refund for such poor customer service and lack of ability.

I have been going to Kathy at Shear Reflections for over a year and every single time I leave extremely impressed with my hair cut. But this time truly blew me away. I had some pretty high expectations but she was able to completely exceed my expectations. There are not enough good things I can say about Kathy. I LOVE my hair cut and I had her do a blonde balayage this time. My hair was completely all natural virgin hair (after years of growing out the blonde I used to have) and I finally decided to go back to being blonde. I absolutely love my hair now, I love the results she was able to achieve. Not only is my hair absolutely gorgeous but she was also able to maintain the integrity and health of my hair which is EXTREMELY important to me. The prices at this salon are unheard of as well (Previously I regularly went to my stylist and would pay upwards of $270 every time). The prices are extremely reasonable, the quality of work of Kathy is unbeatable. I will continue seeing her for years to come certainly. I will definitely be back. Highly Underrated salon I would absolutely recommend Shear Reflections to anyone looking to get their hair done, especially with Kathy. You would be hard pressed to find a better stylist in the Phoenix area.

I am very disappointed in this salon, I have been going here for almost 3 years. But the last time I went I had an awful experience and I will never be back. I went in and asked for a silver ombré. At first the stylist wasn’t sure if she could get the color but after a color strip test said she could do it. Not only did she not get me the color I wanted, got dye all over my shirt, she also made me miss my senior photos. I began the appointment by telling her I had senior photos later that afternoon and asked if she thought there would be time. The stylist confirmed to me that we would have time. The stylist however gave ma a straight line of color and a gross shadow root. She went back in and tried to fix it, which made me miss my senior photos. Once she realized her mistake she offered for me to come in and she would fix and style it for free. This time I went in with my mom and after the stylist “fixed it” she started styling my hair. However my mom noticed that all the color to my hair was gone and I was left with a untoned blonde color. When my mom commented the stylist began to yell at my mom. The worst part was when the manager heard this she came over and proceeded to also yell at my mom. The manager told my mom she should just be grateful that the stylist is doing it for free. Not only am I disappointed because I used to love this salon, I am extremely disappointed that any professional would act this way!UPDATE: I wished this situation never happened but Shear Reflections has paid to have my hair color corrected.

First time there and was treated above expectations!! They’re all so sweet and friendly and April did a fantastic job on my hair!

Loved my cut no doubt. Unfortunately not pleased at all with my color. I wanted to walk out with a blonder color in which I know my hair can and was blonde before. Now Im with no highlights or near a blonde color setting me back on where I wanted to be in reaching my goal for platinum hair. Hair stylist was friendly and I know she was just doing her job in playing it safe with someone like me and the hair I have. Sadly I wont be returning for any more dying session to get my hair right.

Good hair cuts, clean and friendly staff. For cost I paid $160, Ill admit it wasnt the hair coloring I was hoping for. Being my first coloring job felt like I paid to much to have it look the same color as when I walked in. That part was my lack of knowledge on hair dye and hoping a consult would help me understand. Found out after it was done i was looking for streaks not highlights. Other then that confusion the girls were really sweet. If u knw what ur looking for good place to go but not for first timers.
