Excellent service, they called and sent me a text letting me know what all needs fixed. The link they sent me with a list of all the things they tested was sooo helpful and amazing!

I thought my car has a serious problem with it. But I just ran into a big puddle which got a lot of water into my engine bay. And they were totally honest with me and didnt try to get any buck they could out of me ! 10/10

Able Auto Repair won over my business today as well as anyone I know that would need mechanical work in the Pensacola area, I initially called and asked if they were busy (not knowing a thing about this business other than great reviews.) I spoke with a very nice lady named Mary, she said yes but what can we help you with, I told her my problems, she said if you can drop it off we will take a look, I was so happy to be able to get in on a short notice on a rainy, busy Friday, Mary was so great she even took me home and picked me back up when my car was finished, I am so pleased with the work done on my 2015 Ford Fusion and looking forward to coming back and seeing these polite people again, you dont find many mechanic shops like this anymore. Just used them and really was happy with service and prices. As a female many places have tried to rip me off, not these guys. Explained every they did to my car, did it timely, and. Barged me very fair prices. Will be using them as my new mechanic shop when I have issues.

Able Auto did an excellent job oil change, & found that the back window cleaning hose had seporated from the pump, reconnected the hose & tightened a strap around the hose, there by correcting the problem? Very pleased with all they had done!

Great people, Mary is a saint and helped me with getting home and back to my car when it was fixed, I was able to get in on a friday when they were busy, they made me a priority and won over all my business for mechanical purposes.

My experience and the experience that two of my friends had, which is how I learned of this shop, was great. I came in expecting to spend a big chunk of change but they were honest when they could have taken my wallet. Not a fancy shop but I will take honest hard hard working fellas all-day long over a high overhead shop.

Able Auto Repair has to be the best Auto Repair shop in Pensacola. Honestly, before Able Auto Repair was incorporated, I used other local Repair shops who literally ripped me off. For example, one shop charged me more than double for new tires, and they charged me for services I did not need. In direct contrast with this repair shop, Able Auto Repair always charged me a discounted price. And I can always depend on Able Auto Repair to correctly diagnose my car problems, and repair my car quickly. Please note my car is very old a 2005 Mercury Sable. But now it runs as if it is almost new. Lastly, Able Auto Repair is a one stop shop. I would encourage anyone who has a used or new car to only use Able Auto Repair. Good job guys.

I bought a used diesel Jeep a few years ago and started taking it to Able because the previous owner had done so, and Able already had all the work and repairs that had been done on the Jeep in their system. I was impressed the first time I went to Able and I still am every time I go. The people that work there are very polite and you can tell that they actually care about their customers, not just making a buck. Ive taken my Jeep to Able several times in the last few years and Ive been happy with the work and price every time. Ive had some pretty serious repairs done by them and I have not had any issues. They let you know if something needs to be repaid ASAP, or if its minor and can wait. Again, they arent just trying to make money off of you. Able is great and its nice to have a place that knows diesel engines. I recommend it to a lot of my friends.

I do not grow to trust businesses that charge a lot easily. Certainly I have been burned as one can see from looking at my other reviews. Over time, Able has earned my trust. I strongly recommend them. The nature of car repair is that it tends to be ongoing, unlike a business like a roofing company that one hopefully has to use no sooner than once a decade. Over time, both my wife and I have grown to trust in the fairness and reliability of this place.

Ive known both Paul and Ron for about 4 years now and they are some of the greatest guys in town when it comes to your vehicle. Theyve never tried to rip me off, theyve shown me simple fixes that other repair shops said it would cost an arm and a leg to fix. All around a great place to go. I have a 06 ford taurus with over 210k miles on it and Ive went to them for everything with the car and its still running great to this day.

Took car to have total brake job. Had car for 8 days. Think that was way to long

This is the best auto place I have ever taken my car to! As long as I am in the area, I wont consider going anywhere else. I had a brake line problem that two other places told me they wouldnt touch. I took it to Able and they literally fixed it in half the time and cost that the others had quoted me at first. Very honest and trustworthy, what more could you ask for?

They will rip you off. We received a $3k quote for a repair. We then took the vehicle to the Ford dealership and another repair shop for a second opinion. Both confirmed the repairs recommended by Able were not at all necessary, nor would they fix the problem. We took our diesel truck here for years and wondered why we kept spending $ every other month for repairs DO NOT GO HERE

There is never a time that I place my vehicle in their care that I worry about them ripping me off or overcharging me. Never. I just moved out of Pensacola recently, and the one thing I miss is being able to take my car to Able Auto. The guys here will tell you exactly what is wrong with your vehicle, what your options are, and depending on the age of the vehicle if it is even worth fixing, or just needs to be ignored. When I was in Pensacola, I had an 84 Ford Tempo, and it was in the shop a lot, they never did a bad job, and many times went above and beyond what is expected. They also have some of the best prices in town.

Ron and Chris are the best at what they do! You wont find a more honest or dependable repair shop in town. I send all my friends there too.

I was down in Pensacola visiting my sister (originally from Oklahoma) and my truck was having an issue and i took it in there and Ron worked with me and made an appointment. When I brought it in for the appointment I met Chris and both guys were down to earth and respectful guys. Ron checked out my truck, test drove it, and confirmed the problem. He came back inside and we talked about it, I asked what i owed for them to look at it he told me nothing! Although I didnt have it repaired (minor issue) I wouldnt hesitate to return and have them work on my truck!I am very hesitant on who I have work on my truck but without a doubt I would trust them in their work!

This was the worst auto repair experience I have ever had. After paying $1000 in repairs, and Able taking my car for months at a time, the problem that I ORIGINALLY had with my car was still not fixed. My engine light was on and my car engine would randomly shut off while driving or idling. {crazy dangerous problem to have} They kept putting new parts in the car that did not need fixing. They were nice people, but the knowledge and ability to fix my car was not there. After 6 months of taking my car back to them for the same problem and being assured every time that they had “definitely fixed it this time” I ended up just taking my car to a dealership and they found the problem within 2 days and fixed it for $300. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY! I am a college student barely able to pay my school bill, and then Able Auto Repair rips me off. I rarely will write a bad review, but guys don’t take your cars here...they seem to have no clue what they are doing.

I got a alignment done on my truck From able auto. Later I found out from Walmart I had a bad bushing in my steering/ tie rod end.. so I still had excess play in my steering wheel still. This place was not the cheapest so I thought I would have got better quality work. The alignment machine was very old and did not work well ether. I also had my tires replaced here. My tires were not balanced that well. The machine was barely able to put on my tires it was so old. I had Walmart on Creighton Road re-balance my tires and it was much better. I also got my oil changed from able auto. So I gave them 3 try’s. And all 3 time was bad. They will tell you there shop is honest because there christians. Really? There Christian so that makes then honest? Not a good way to use god name. Save your money and go to a shop with better machines and mechanics. I hope this review will help people.

As long as I live in Pensacola, I will never take my car to any other shop for service or repair. The blower on my 2006 Hyundai Azera went out last week. My car is no longer under warranty, so taking it to the dealer was not a viable option.The only choice was to take my car to an unknown shop and blindly put my faith into the owners honesty and integrity. This practice has not always worked well for me, but this time it did!I found Able Auto Repair listed on the Better Business Bureau webpage. Able Autos customer service was first rate from my initial call to the time the car was delivered to my job after it was repaired. The cost was extremely reasonable.If you are looking for honesty, expertise, and value, look no further. All that and more is available at Able Auto Repair.

PLEASE BEWARE. My car had stopped while pulling into driveway, my car did restart but the service engine light can on. I had it towed to Able Auto Repair after reading the great reviews. They told me it was a camshaft position sensor problem and they already changed it but never discussed price before with me. I go to get my car only to find out its $350. Which is outrageous as i pointed out to the guy. It takes less than 10minutes to replace and the part new costs less than $70. he told me that is how they make their money...like a doctor overcharges for aspirin etc. so do mechanics. He said if I wasnt happy he would remove part but will still have to pay $100 diagnostic charge and the cost to have it towed somewhere else. HE WAS VERY RUDE! When i told ppl what they charged, they said I was ripped off. Well less than a year later same camshaft position sensor went out. I took it to ProFast and had it replaced for $150. Maybe since I was a female, they saw me as a easy target. I dont why they have such good reviews unless ppl with bad experiences dont bother to review like I almost did until the same problem occurred again and payed alot less which was even more prove I was ripped off by Able Auto Repair. CONSIDER TAKING YOUR VEHICLE SOMEWHERE ELSE.
