In the end, we will be out $1,800 between what they took from us and what another company is charging in order to clean up their mess.Both my husband and I have called multiple times asking to speak to the owner and were told verbatim that he didnt have time to call us back. We have been hung up on countless times by the office manager, and the technician (Drew) stood in our house mincing his words as we asked him to explain how we would be having more problems days after his repair if it had been done correctly.We have reached out, again, this afternoon (September 29th) to give this company the opportunity to refund our money or have the owner call us. We continue to receive the same treatment.So, in addition to taking this to small claims court, we will be reporting them to great lengths: the BBB of NWFL, the Pensacola Chamber, and any/all online review sites we can, in hopes that we spare someone the grief and loss of money and time that we have experienced.Shame on you, Express Air!*** We received a text from the tech, Drew, today (Sept. 30) including a message forwarded from the owner, Jason, referring to himself as Trump by stating that we wouldnt call Donald Trump if we were staying at the Trump Towers and had a problem. There is a chain. Wow. This, too, has been passed along to the BBB. ***

We had two quotes from other AC repair businesses for over $2K. We also experienced extreme high pressure from one, along with being given incorrect information (lies). We were so blessed to find Express AC and Heating! Drew repaired our outside unit in 1/4 the time quoted by the other so called companies for less than $700! He was such a wonderful, professional person and even gave us a 10% senior discount! We will be purchasing a new outside unit soon and know that there is only ONE company to call: EXPRESS AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING!!

Absolutely loved working with this company. They gave me the best price in town, with great quality equipment. Their service men, Rick and Scott, were on time, let me know when they were coming, were kind, kept my house clean. They were very respectful of my items, removing anything around the work area that might get damaged. Had numerous issues with old Heat pump system so we called. Had an estimate that day! And installed both inside and outside units two days later. I called on late Saturday on a holiday weekend, I got a call back In about 20 minutes. I spoke with Paul and he explained how fast he could get to our house. I was extremely impressed with his professional approach. I would highly recommend. And Express Air will have me as a customer for good.

Express was fantastic! The first day we called them, they came out right away and gave us an estimate. It was based off of the footage of our house, sun exposure, people in the house, windows, insulation, and what we kept the thermostat on. The correct unit was chosen and it was ordered that same day. The gentlemen came out 2 days later and installed the unit. They were fast and diligent but still paid attention to detail. They were respectful of my yard and home. They picked up all of their extra supplies and trash. They disposed the old unit. We are in love with our new unit!

Our new AC Unit stopped working on Sunday, and were able to be blessed having Minh do a quick repair to get us back up and running after a really rough 36 hours. He was extremely professional and friendly. 10/10

I’d just like to start by saying I work in the service industry as an electrician. Minh came over, on time, and found the problem in less than 5 minutes. Not only did he fix our problem but he also took pictures of the air handler, checked refrigerant levels and connections. He was very professional, very polite and knowledgeable (he explained how the problem happened and how to keep it from happening again). These are the guys I will use from now on in Pensacola. Everything about our experience with them was fantastic. The office manager that answered the phone was friendly and very helpful. The tech that came to inspect our AC was very nice and very professional. Really seemed to know his stuff. Determined that our 20 year old AC was basically dead, which I kinda already knew. The salesman that quoted me a new system was honest and not pushy at all. Price he gave me was right in line with other quotes, so I went with them for installing the new AC. The installers that showed up were nice and professional, and did a clean and nice job. Now I have a brand new nice energy efficient system that really pumps out some cold air. Found Express Air Conditioning through reading my neighborhood website Nextdoor. after my old AC decided to finally die on me. They seemed to be recommended by a lot of people. They sent someone out the very day I called, which is unusual, to check if it could be repaired. The tech took his time to really evaluate the compressor downstairs and the unit in the attic. He gave me options but due to the age of the thing & having to keep getting things fixed year after year, I ended up going with a new unit instead of a quick fix. Later Johnnie from Express came by to evaluate what size unit Id need and explained different sizes and the cost and worked with me patiently. After he left, he came by later and loaned me a window unit since I had a few days to wait for my appointment so I wouldnt have to sit in my 85 degree house for 4 days. The day of installation, 2 techs came on time and worked efficiently and fast. Id highly recommend Express because they really seemed to care and were very knowledgeable & got the job done right. Issue with a/c shutting off when thermostat was set below 80 degrees. BTW it was almost 95 degrees outside, so I NEEDED my a/c to work. Called Express Air in Pensacola at 7:30 am on a Monday morning and an appointments was set for same day between 2:00 and 5:00. Surprised to get same day service! Their technician, Minh, called when he was 20 minutes away and showed up promptly and well groomed. Spent a few minutes asking me questions about my issues then said Ive got it!. He went straight to the issue and fixed it within 25 minutes, that included from start to clean up to finish. Thats pretty impressive! AND the cost for the service call and repair was very, very reasonable. I was so impressed with Minh, his knowledge, promptness, courtesy, and overall professionalism. I own vacation rentals in Perdido Key. The worst thing that can happen in the summer is for the ac to quit. I called Express Air and Minh showed up at 8:00pm and didn’t leave until after 9:00. He saved the day and my guest were very happy. Minh is the man!

Express Air Conditioning & Heating Inc was AMAZING! Our AC went out and we called them Friday afternoon. Meh came out the next morning on Saturday, as soon as he could to diagnose our system. Several other AC companies said they could not get out until Monday to diagnose our problem.The owner of the company Jason came out the following Monday and gave us 3 individual quotes and options for our specific problem. He was very informative and took time to explain everything to us. He also gave us better pricing than other companies we talked to that were just quoting based on replacement.John & Kerry worked very hard to get our new inside/outside systems replaced and working again while it was super HOT in our home. On 5/26/21 I had a new air conditioner unit installed as well as the digital TSTAT. The two men who came were John and Kerry. The both of them were very professional and worked extremely well with Team Work. While one was working inside the home, the other was outside setting things up. I found it to be amazing how these two men knew exactly what needed to be done and there was not time to be idle. The temperature outside that day was very hot and humid. They did a GREAT job and my new Amana AC works wonderful and I was cooled off within the first 30 min. when they finished. Thanks EXPRESS Air/Heat company for sending me these two wonderful workers!

This is the first Google review I think Ive ever written. But this was easily the best experience Ive ever had dealing with HVAC issues. I called them Monday afternoon and they setup an appointment for 9-11AM, the field manager not only showed up on time, he called to see if he could come early, which worked for me. So they quote it out in maybe 15 minutes and its cheaper than the other two companies that quoted it by literally thousands of dollars ($2-4k cheaper!). I asked when they can install and they said Hows tomorrow ? Crazy, I expected it to be weeks out. But then they had a cancellation and they said How about today? So literally from the time I was handed a quote until the installation was COMPLETED was literally four hours. Absolutely amazing.The two installers Rick and Scott were both great, professional, friendly guys. Cannot recommend this place enough, I wont ever use anyone else.

It was a pleasure to work with Express Air! The estimator, Johnny, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, & honest. He spent a lot of time explaining the various options we could choose being honest about pros and cons...needs and things “not needed”. The crew, Rick, Scott, John & Ryan were professional, polite and very efficient. They removed our complete system inside and out. They did all if this in 4 hours no less. We opted for a completely new install of a 16 Seer 2 ton AC system, ducts, UV thermostat and vents. Their costs were VERY reasonable compared to other estimates without the complete new system install. We’ve also used Express for AC Service on Navarre Beach and Gulf Breeze a few times in the past years which provided us a quick response and correction of AC issue. This is my 2nd experience. A couple months ago I had them out to just do a a/c check. My a/c is older and I am maintaining it the best I can to delay having to purchase a new unit. My a/c was not cooling yesterday and I called at 7:30 this morning and they said they would be out around 12:00 (amazing). They stated they would call prior to arriving. They called two (2) hours early yes early and asked if they could come now. Excellent! I was so excited to see it was the same representative I had worked with for my a/c check, his name is Minh! Wow, first class customer service. He diagnosed the issue, detailed me to what was wrong and what part I needed and why. He had the part in his truck and waaalaaaa a/c is cooling again! Express Heating and Air did a great job at our house! We called in on monday for AC problems. Tuesday a technician, Minh, arrived to look over the problem. Friendly, nice, and knowledgeable he quickly accessed the problem and gave us several options on a path forward. Due to the age of our system we thought it best to replace it. That night Johnny came and gave us a quote to replace the AC and air handler. Friday morning JJ/Ryan did a great job installing the equipment. Install was clean and works great. Everyone at every step of the process took time to answer questions and make sure we understood what the problems were, potential options, and let us make the decisions on how to solve them. I loved that the quote was all inclusive and the extra issues they found along the way were covered by the original price. To go from calling in an issue monday afternoon to a completely new install by Friday is amazing. Great company cant recommend more.

Express Air Super Star Minh comes through again! He was able to ping point the problem within minutes. Although he was unable to fix the problem right away (no part available) Express Air ordered the part and had it shipped overnight. Repair was completed within 24hrs.

Express installed HVAC at our house today and we couldn’t be happier with the service. From quote to install it all took less than a week! Our house only had window units previously so it was a big job. All of the workers were extremely professional and we’ll most definitely be using them for any servicing or future installs!

I own four properties and have used this company a few times now. So far I have been very happy with their services and knowledge. Minh has come out a few times for us and has been great as well. I recommend them and will continue to use them myself.

On March /2/2021 Express came out to install a AC unit and replace ducts. They put two holes in my ceiling and broke off the door that holds the unit I have called several times to have these issues taken care of. Finally on April 5th they said they would come April 12th. Well April 12th came so I called left message with no call back and no one showed up .

Express had helped us baby our old AC along for many years when it finally died on us recently (during a heatwave, of course). We ended up buying a replacement system after Johnny gave us a quote which detailed all our options, specs, etc. We were also lucky enough to be lent his last portable AC window unit which helped keep things livable until the replacement could be installed. On the day of installation, Todd and Scott were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and thorough throughout the entire installation, which included pulling out the old units in and out of the house, installing the new ones, we also asked that they add another throughput In the wall, etc. These guys worked very hard and know their business quite well. The entire process was as painless as possible. The price matched the quote we had been given and was super reasonable considering all the work that had to be done and the new products we bought. I highly recommend this company for both repairs and system installations, having used them for both over the years. We especially recommend the professionals who work so hard to keep us cool.

We came into our office on Friday morning to discover our main AC had gone out overnight. It was 89 degrees inside when I opened at 9:00am. We called Express right away and explained our situation. We are a high production sign and tshirt shop in Pensacola and all of our equipment requires an optimal air temp of 78 or lower to operate not to mention all of our roll materials are extremely sensitive to high humidity. Once I explained all of this to the receptionist on the phone she said they were extremely backed up but would make sure they got to us today, but it may be after hours. An hour later Minh arrived to service our 3 commercial units. He was extremely polite, professional and quick. In under 45 minutes he had all 3 units running like new and were cooling down quickly. Thank you so much Express Air for getting Gator Grafix back up and running.

I have used Express Air exclusively to keep my AC running and each call has been answered quickly, efficiently, and to my surprise, inexpensively. Todays call was no different. Paul was early, informative, and went above and beyond to not only repair the issue but to save me money.

My AC went out around 4pm on a Friday before a three day weekend. I called a couple other places first and no one was willing to come out before the following Tuesday. Minh from Express Air had the unit repaired and running like normal less than two hours after I called. Minh was excellent, very professional and friendly. Ill be using Express Air for any future issues because of how painless this experience was. Strongly recommend!

Minh arrived and checked our system completely. He explained in detail why our AC was not cooling properly. His professionalism is above board. I highly recommend his services. He also service a slightly low freon level and blew air down the drain line to clear any potential clogs.

Incredible persistence: Paul showed up right on time on a Sunday to replace a fan motor. However, the fan blade was severely rusted to the motor shaft. It was so rusted, that his hub puller was rendered unusable. Paul said he wasnt going to give up and there had to be a way to remove the hub from the old motor. I am certain that 99% of technicians would have let us roast until Monday when they could obtain a new fan blade. I was literally trying to figure out where to say until Monday, but he never gave up our AC is running great! Very professional, courteous and friendly as well. Would not accept my tip but asked me to write a review! Unbelievable! My neighbor recommended Express Air. My only regret is that Ive been using others for 20 years now! Wont call anyone else!

Would’ve not recommend.EDIT:Reason: left damaged part, causing more issues after indoor unit was replaced. Charged a service fee and then stated it was “too late to provide such service” even though part was on the truck. Was late for everyone appointment window by greater than 30 minutes with no phone calls. (I actually had to call to see if they were still coming). Best practices (according to 5 other companies) was not used for replacing filter dryer when they opened the system.My issues weren’t with the company, rather the technician to start. But was unable to get anything resolved after, so we went with someone else.***edit to add it’s under Mark Taylor because it goes by property owner; however I am the one the technician did business with****

I had been looking for estimates to upgrade our East Hill home with central air and heat. Express Air Conditioning and Heating was recommended and I gave them a call. From the very start, the service was prompt and caring and not pushy at all. I wanted a Mini split system because this house was built in the 1940s and had very little room for ductwork. They financed it for me and the process was simple and easy. I was given all the options available with explanation for each. Johnny was the service representative that helped me with all the decisions. I cant thank him enough. The technicians Rick, Ryan and John were here today and finished the job beautifully! I purchased my air conditioning unit from Express Air 2 years ago. It has given us excellent service but the Thermostat stopped working during the night. I called first thing this morning and the servicemen were here by noon, replaced the thermostat, checked the inside and outside units and made sure the air conditioning was cooling my house before they left. Bought new 18 seer Amanna Inverter to replace 12 yr old American Standard dual compressor. Being told this should be more efficient. ITS NOT, First approx 14 days and electric bill was 60 higher. Nothing else changed and Im aware this thing runs all the time. They came out found it 2 lb low on freon but its not changing, I want my old unit back in as I have it and it is way more efficient. Owner was supposed to call and Guess what He didnt. Actually take this out and i will buy new American Standard, Im senior and trying to make all new in the house for my wife. Do not buy a Amanna IMO. and Im questioning the whole transaction.The whole unit was replaced with an exact new and took care of all the problems,Was tough to figure out but got it done. //////UPDATE 6/30/2021 Having had the unit for awhile now Im happy to say that this unit is all that you would expect,Quiet efficient and does heat and cool perfectly. the electric use is now back to where Im use if not better. I have solar and never go over $25, a month. SO ALL SAID I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS UNIT AND DEALER.

Minh was my A/C Tech. Really a nice guy. He really knew his trade. Minh responded quickly and fixed my problem. Having this kind of service on Labor Day is awesome. I can not be more pleased.

Our A/C unit was making a wierd hissing noise every time it turned on. I called Express Air after-hours service and their technician Minh made sure to put me on his schedule that day. He missed my initial call but called me back right away even though I didnt leave a call-back message/voicemail. Minh was on time, very professional and knows his trade. It didnt take him long to figure out what was wrong with our unit and fixed the problem. I highly recommend Express Air and will be calling them again for any future HVAC issues.

We have been in the market for a new HVAC system for a little while now. After having two prior companies come out to check things out with quotes around 1,000.00 to repair the current outdated unit my husband decided to reach out to an old friend he trusted to give us our third quote and opinion on replacing the unit. Jason with Express Air Conditioning & Heating helped us navigator through the new systems to choose and what features would be best for your family and most efficient. He scheduled a technician to come out (Rick and his partner) as soon as available. Jason made the service call same day and not but a few days later our new unit was installed within 3 1/2 hours. The technicians were quick, precise, and worked diligently. All the mechanics of the unit and new thermostat were explained and best of all and most Importantly We have COOL AIR! Ok my 5 star rating is on today’s interaction only for previous I would give them a 1star.Had an issue with my system Sunday we had a storm come in and cool things off. Unit went from maintaining 73 to jumping up to 76. Called Express agreed with tech could wait till Monday he said someone would call and come out monday. Friday rolls around had tried calling during the week never got an answer and no one ever called. Friday I get an answer and appointment scheduled for today, Saturday.Paul showed up and the interaction I had with him was awesome! He was very informative and explained it all to me and instilled faith in the company again! He explained how the system. Worked and we were able to figure out what happened with the system on Sunday! Paul definitely knows his systems and what’s going on! I really appreciated it and am a more informed customer so now I will know when there is an issue and to call! Thank you Paul!!

Kerry showed up on time this morning and thoroughly checked out and evaluated a system that had not been in use for over a year. After getting the compressor running he gave me a list of items that needed attention to keep the system operating properly. Excellent service. Have used Express before and highly recommend them to friends and customers alike.

My experience with Express Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc. was nothing but positive! Upon first calling, I immediately knew I would be doing business with some friendly folks. Then, they just continued to impress me. They got someone out for a quote within a day, and then worked with my tight schedule to quickly install a completely new air conditioning and heating system.
