My nail teacher was great. Ms. D really cares about us and how much we learn. There is only A/C in one room, and so much overcrowding with how many students were in the nail program. Not enough chairs either and the office ladies get upset when you take 1 of the 5 chairs in the office that they are not sitting in. Also I have tried to get an email forwarded to me about my license and I have spent at least two weeks trying to get a hold of them. I have sent two emails, texted my teacher (Ms. D was very helpful) and I have called the beauty schools main hotline. And I still haven’t gotten the email. I wasn’t going to leave a review until my very last experience with them.

Ive been coming here for over a decade to get a haircut and you cant go wrong with a $5 hair cut ( if you can get in on a Tuesday) The students are friendly and try really hard to give you the cut you want. I like getting pedicures from them, manicures not so much.

So, this a long story I’m gonna keep short to the point and simple, so I first off decided to come to this school because it was a smaller class and setting, I thought for you learning habits it would be better for me, and I would have the teachers full attention, when I did the tour everything looked amazing and perfect, but until you get in your stuck, everything was a lie, the teacher don’t want to educate, and if you ask questions they get upset, they’re lazy, always on the phone, they say let’s go on field trips and just take us to salon centric, I honestly feel like I wish I could’ve spoke to more people about the school, or just down more research, if you want a good school, where your going to learn and love what you do then I suggest that this is not the place for you. I dropped out months later, it hurt my pocket but I couldn’t keep going half of the time we would just sit outside on our phones and just hang out .

I had a great time coming in. The students are kind and friendly and the instructor is great.I came in for gel polish and basic pedicure. I came out feeling great about myself :) mind you it took much longer than the average service but theyre students so you have to account for that.I cant give it a perfect 5star. The back was little gritty. It looked rough. I hope one day theres a renovation. But Id come back. My nails look great 😍

I absolutely love this school. Im a student about to graduate and I have never felt more prepared in my life. I have all the tools I need for success. I made a great decision picking this school because the teachers are modern experienced patient and fun. Its an easy going environment and the program is fast pace . All the students get along and we all work in harmony. I recommend not only for you to attend this school but to get all your services done here. Ps:we carry a high end line used on salons today.

First off I would like to mention that Ronnie was very sweet, outgoing, and so helpful during the admissions process. However, I withdrew myself from this school because I felt like I wasnt learning anything. I was enrolled in the Facial Specialty morning class and most of the time I was there, we would do open book tests and nothing else the rest of the day. Also, the instructor came off a bit rude when it came to correcting students whenever we did something wrong during a service and would often be nowhere to be found when we needed assistance. I came to this school because I saw it had a lot of positive reviews so I thought I was in good hands. My advice is to do your research before deciding to enroll in a school. You are pouring your hard earned money into your future so choose wisely! Take the time out to go to the school and ask the current students there how they like it and then decide. Dont fully rely on internet reviews. Just because it has a lot of good reviews, doesnt mean youll have a good experience as everyone is different.

I am a recent graduate at Kaizen beauty academy and this school I can honestly say got me to where I am today the teachers are amazing they really take the time out for each and every student making sure we all understand whatever it is we are working on before moving forward. They are very patient and understanding which helped for my experience at least, I didn’t want to go to any other school after walking into this one! The fact that you get hands on experience from the first week being in school is the best thing for being in this industry you learn more by doing! With all that being said you should defiantly attend this school it’s an A+++++

The teachers are so patient and the clients are awesome. You start hands on almost immediately on a mannequin while doing theory as well. I went to get my hair dyed to my original color and i should have known it was gonna be either good or bad. I got a student who was pretty shy and i spent almost three hours there just to get it dyed! Unfortunately one side of my hair is lighter than the other side. Which looks weird. Not saying its a bad school But it just didnt go well for me.

I was a student here at Kaizen for the Esthetician Program and it was amazing. I couldnt have asked for a better instructor. Lisa was so experienced and knowledgeable, I owe thanks to her for my clientele I have now for facials at my salon. I took every ounce of knowledge and education I received here and apply it to my everyday skin care routine. The hair and nails program here is also just as good, Im now a regular here at this school just to get my hair and facials done. This place is awesome! Thank you Jackie for opening up this school!

I went in to tour the school to maybe attend. The small, intimate setting was something that appealed to me. However, after the first visit I got a sales call the very next day, from the same person that gave me the tour. And this was not a follow up call, it was a sales call to set me up for a tour as if I hadnt just been there... I also let them know when I toured the school that I wouldnt be ready to attend for a few months and even gave them a a date I was considering and told them to call me then in the hopes that I wouldnt get a ridiculous amount of sales calls. I was wrong. I have gotten at least a couple calls a week and multiple calls a day (sometimes within the same hour). I have asked more than once for them not to call me anymore with sales calls & even sent them a text back stating that as well. Im extremely disappointed that my once good impression of this school has turned into them being just another pushy school. DO NOT contact this school if you hate getting sales calls like me.

I called Kaizen Beauty Academy on a Saturday at 12:15 to find out what services they offered and if they had openings to get my kids hair cut. They get me in within 30 minutes and the service was outstanding. I quickly made an appt for 2 weeks later to get my hair cut, colored, and a vital shot. I also made appointments for 2 of my daughters for all over colors and a conditioning treatment for my daughters friend. The staff did an amazing job on all of our hair. They were knowledgeable about the products being used, took their time to ensure we chose the right color, and presented themselves as professionals in their chosen field. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a place to get their hair, makeup or nails done. Exceptional customer service.

Today I realized that Ive been going to Kaizen for almost three years! Stephen always does my hair and I just love the look he gives me. While Stephen is my fav, the whole staff are friendly and courteous. I must admit that I usually only get my hair done, but Ive had other treatment (facials, manicure and pedicure) and they have all been excellent with good quality products.

I had a great experience in this place, I recommend. Nice atmosphere and staff.

I come here for the facials and its honestly a hit or miss. Ive legit never paid more than 30 for a facial until today.. like, I walked in at 1:25 they started at 1:27 and I was out the door at exactly 2:07 and then they charged m for an hour facial when it legit was 30 minutes. I realized the only time I dont enjoy my facials is when this particular instructor is here so Im just gonna call and ask for the name of the instructor before I come. I just loved coming to this place until today. Gosh I hope the black instructor (I think her name is Sabrina) didnt quit. I didnt even mind the occasional miss cus I know what Im paying for.

I didn’t have a good experience attending Kaizen Beauty Academy. I should have waited a couple of months before adding any reviews regarding the school. Kaizen Beauty Academy doesn’t provide all the necessary essentials for the classes that’s offered. Majority of the time, the equipment isn’t usable. Your instructors are limited. Lastly, “some” (not all) Adminstrators & Instructors don’t handle it’s students concerns in a mature & professional manner. In my opinion, you’re paying for a full education but only learning a quarter of your chosen profession. Suggestions: throughly research, compare the school to others & reference the views of current “&” previous students.

After been a customer for years. I called to set up an appointment right before Christmas Eve and they advised me that they were not doing appointments but that If I came early they will take me. So I made arrangements to come early, and when I got there they did not take me because supposedly some one there messed up and booked and that they could not take anybody else. I was very disappointed as no accommodation was made. I got there so early that there was not even one customer, so they could have squeeze me as it was not my fault that some one messed up.

I am a Kaizen graduate from Skin Care 2015, I highly recommend this school. Not just for the fact that it is affordable, yet Jackie, and Justin truly stand behind the meaning of their school, and take great pride doing so. I wont lie I was nervous walking out those doors into the real world, and sometimes my own self-doubt got in my way at times but with the reassurance from Jackie and Justin, I have learn to grow and have more confidence in myself than ever before. I was assured many times that if I ever needed anything, at any given time you are still part of the Kaizen family. Almost a year later with a quick call I was able to speak to Jackie, who not only helped with the one thing I called for, yet reminded me to change my address with the DBPR, something I never thought about doing till she mentioned it. Jackie is a women I not just adore but look up to. Thank you for standing behind you words, when you attend Kaizen your not another lost student in an academy, yet you become part of a small family. With this I will be forever greatful.

My hairdresser Teo was wonderful. Very Professional.

Orlee was my hair stylist, sweet sweet girl. While she was cutting my hair her instructor kept stopping by and checking up, btw the instructor was firm on her word and knew exactly what to fix. At the end when Orlee was done I saw the amazing job she did, not only did she even my layers out but the cut was PERFECT. I blow dried it and it looked GORGEOUS and I was finally able to let my hair curly since again the cut is just beautiful. I def. Recommend this salon, they have great teachers are the results are students with great skills.

Nice place and awesome students, however, I had been calling every day during the last four days to get a hair cut, but attendance told me, they are busy no more appointments. Only walk-in.

My experience at Kaizen Beauty was a very positive one right from the start. I decided to return to school at the age of 51. I think friends thought I was having a mid-life crisis lol.... I was recently married and running my own business full time and was concerned how I could fit school in. Owner Jakie went out of her way to accommodate my schedule and reassured me I could go at my own pace.I had interviewed basically all the beauty schools in the area but when I walked into Kaizen it felt very different and I knew this is where I would go. After meeting Esthetician Instructor Lisa I was sold. They made me feel at easy and convinced me all would be well.My time at this school was so positive and I made life long friends. Oh and by the way less than one year after graduating I am living my dream and doing skin care full time. I have developed my own skin care line and my life has changed for the better.If you are thinking of entering the beauty industry do yourself a favor and check out this fabulous school....Just Do It!! You may as well go to a full fledge salon with licensed beauticians. Barbara at the front desk pulled a fast one-BAIT and SWITCH!!!! My wife went to get her hair done. She was quoted a price on the phone and in person. AFTER her hair was finished, she increased the price by $13. It may not seem like much, but its principle. Once she got her total bill ($65)color retouch and blow dry, she could have went elsewhere.
