I unfortunately had to put down my pup, Foxie, here. The staff was sure to answer all of my questions. The day of, Dr. Donna catered to me and my situation and they appeased to my time needs as well as my request to watch them prepare her for storage. I appreciated them not trying to talk me out of it and not asking me why, because, I didn’t even know why i wanted to watch. I just wanted to make sure she was taken care of.Crystal did a really gentle job of wrapping my pup up and placed her very gently in her box. I really appreciate how they handled this situation & the amount of explaining and care they gave, to not only my pup, but me too. They made this first time experience very calm and gentle.Thank you.
Great place to take your pet for vet care /services. Ive been very pleased with the service I get at this animal hospital. They listen and take the time to answer my questions and I appreciate that they call and check on how my pet is doing if being treated for anything.
Great place, they always take good care of my pets
PLEASE READ!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!The staff is okay, but not the service. I brought my 4-month puppy in for cherry eye surgery on both eyes. Paid over 1,000$ dollars ( which I thought would’ve been worth it) in expenses that were supposed to include overall health scanning, Nail trims, etc. I had to ask them to do all of those things AFTER SURGERY. I was upset that that was included in the set price, yet wasn’t even done during surgery. I never even seen his health scan that I paid 100$ for. Not only did I pay 1,000$ for his surgery, BOTH cherry eyes came back in less than a day. My puppys eyes look worse than what they did before the surgery. Now I’m stuck with the same problem my puppy had before, just now 1,000$ out.
Our 15 year old dachshund passed in his sleep early on a Saturday morning. His regular vet had recently started closing on Saturdays so we called Pearland Animal Hospital to see if they could do the cremation for us. They were very sweet, professional and the cost was reasonable. I want to thank the staff for everything they did to make this easier on my family. We are now thinking of switching our pets over to this veterinarian practice.
Came here as a first time puppy daddy! I really liked that this place was open earlier than most vets in the area. I needed to get seen quick since I was traveling by car from out of state, and they were able to see me quick! Staff were kind, and the Dr. Was very helpful and friendly! Theyre Affordable too! Thank you for taking care of my puppy! He is feeling so much better!
I would not recommend taking your pet for boarding. I have filled out the information sheet on my pets feeding times since my cat is diabetic he requires special attention before we board him. My girl friend went to pick him up in the morning at 8am and they DID NOT feed him or give him his shot that day! On the sheet it states at 6am. Then I was going to pickup some insulin at the pharmacy they told me all I needed was the receipt and not a perscription. Well that wasnt the case when I got to the pharmacy. These people who work there are incompetent. Either they dont listen or dont care what you want.
I have been using PAH for 20 years. A great place to take your pets.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! The staff here is excellent and super friendly. Every time I go, they answer all my questions and perform my dogs exam in a timely manner. For example, last year when my dog had bladder stones, they were able to take us in with open arms the same day her urinary results came in. They did x-rays, explained them in simple terms to me, and provided a treatment/care plan that did not require surgery, only a change in diet. Ever since, my dog has never gotten bladder stones again and I am so grateful she didnt need surgery. This place is also affordable compared to many others, they will never overcharge you.
Excellent service! The veterinarians as well as the staff have gone the extra mile to ensure our dogs and parrot get the best care. I would recommend them to anyone looking for the best veterinary services in Pearland
Always helpful & they go above and beyond to communicate the best ways to care for our pet. Thank you!
I love the people that work here. They always answer my questions and always take care of my animals like their own! I’ve been going here for years with my dogs and guinea pig. I get the best experience everytime!
They dont let anyone inside you have to call from the car and wait on hold for a while . I loved this place before but if they keep this up we will find another vet 45min to just drop off for boarding after they got the scheduled dates wrong. Ok after waiting had to leave and get kids home retuned a few hours later to try again to drop off and same thing dont come here unless you plan to spend at least an hour just dropping off
Hi, overall I do not feel that this is a good place for pet owners to get the proper care for their animals. I think it is from lack of experience. Please check other options if requiring anything other than standard check ups.
Staff is knowledgeable and caring. Great service. The staff took the time to work with me, answered all my questions and made me feel welcome.
I have been taking my dogs here for over 10 years. The abundance of caring is obvious from the moment an appointment is made to the time you leave your appointment. Every concern I have had has been addressed. My fur babies love the staff and give kisses to everyone.
Great staff and loved Dr. Vance! They took great care of my pup Rupert. Highly recommend!
We recently adopted our dog and brought her in for an initial visit. The front desk was very kind and helpful on the phone. We were pleasantly surprised to get a same day appointment. Randy and Dr. Vance provided excellent care, they were very thorough and took the time to answer questions. Quality care all the way around!
I came here for a check up and a cut back for my dogs nails. Cost was over $300. They did not even cut them back... barely clipped them and forgot a few claw. Won’t go back.Receptionist decided to lecture me on proper dog care. Won’t be back.
I have been using Pearland Animal Hospital since it opened. PAH is the second home of my animals. They kennel here when I need to escape. The cat is spoiled with ear rubs and brushing. The dogs get so much attention they come home really spoiled and demanding. The vets are just a email away for any problem, and I love the staff. The curbside service during the Covid restrictions has been fantastic. Keep up the good work! 🐾🐾🐾🦮🐈🐕🦺
Ive visited several clinics in the area before finding this one. We will continue bringing our pets here for all their medical needs. Dr. Vance provides knowledgeable medical advice with a great deal of compassion. My kitties love him and you can tell he loves them too. When faced with treatment decisions he will choose the one that is in the best interest of the animal, not his own pocket. They are a little bit pricier than a couple of the other clinics I visited, but the quality of care is much higher. You get what you pay for, so dont trade quality of care for minor discounts.
I just visited PAH for the first time with my dog and saw Dr. Vance. Both he and the vet tech Randy were very sincere and approachable. They even got down on the floor and sat with my dog to make sure he was comfortable. I never felt rushed and they made sure everything was covered and understood. I also liked how everything was done in the same room. No more being taken to another room for blood draws or vaccines like at my previous vet. I look forward to going back with my cat when his checkup is due.
After almost fifteen years with our previous vet we decided we had to make a change because care for our pets had become ridiculously expensive. We researched local vet offices thoroughly. Our goal was uncompromising - we wanted an excellent level of care with fair pricing that wouldn’t break the bank.Thankfully, Pearland Animal Hospital was an easy choice. It came highly recommended on social media from several trusted friends and neighbors.I have three major factors I consider when seeing a vet. Quality of care, how quickly and on-schedule the doctors and assistants see us, and price. My visits to been exemplary in all categories at Pearland Animal Hospital. I am seen quickly, my pup is cared for gently and professionally, and I am charged a charged a reasonable price for the services. I also like that all costs are explained up front and nothing is left vague.I don’t feel like I’m being taken advantage of here and I don’t feel as if I’ve compromised the level of care for my dog. In fact, I believe the overall experience has been even better because I am seen right away by the doctor and not left waiting in the lobby or a room.I highly recommend this place to anybody.
Don’t schedule appointments at the end of the day if you’re just going to rush through them and show your agitation! Both of my cats suddenly stopped eating on Saturday so on Monday I called this place for an urgent appointment since my normal vet was booked for the next few days. On the phone I specifically asked if the doctor would be able to perform diagnostic tests, specifically fecal, on location as cats can only go a few days without eating before it causes serious implications. I was told yes of course. They scheduled me for the next day at 6:45pm. So on day 3 of my cats not eating I show up at 6:30 for my appointment. They bring my cats in and I stay in my car and wait for the Dr. to call me. When she does, she brushes off my concerns saying it’s probably a virus or parasites, and suggests a medicine to help with diarrhea and a dewormer. Well what if it’s a virus? Can you do a test? How can I be sure it’s not something serious? How can I treat it? More importantly, how can I get them to eat since I don’t want them to die in the meantime? Well, then I am told they don’t do fecal exams unless I bring a sample from home so I should come back in a few days with that. Also “she thinks” the blood test should determine if a virus is present but it may not. And she suggests a bland food to make them eat. (I have already tried bland food, dry food, wet food, treats, everything I can think of.)I ask them to do any test they can think of, I just want to know what’s wrong with my babies so I know I am treating it correctly. The Dr. seems frustrated and rushes me off the phone. Someone brings a quote out to my car and while I’m looking it over (more than $1000 for both cats’ tests and fees) the Dr calls me back saying she hears I am unclear on treatment plan. I ask her to do the blood test on just one of my cats and she snaps “ that’s fine but it takes 20 minutes so we need to get going if that’s what you want.” It is clear they want to get me out of there so I pay $200 for the exam fee and dewormer, take my cats, and leave.I am frustrated because I need to know what is wrong so I can treat it and get them eating again. I don’t have time to try to slowly eliminate possibilities. I told them this was urgent and I wanted tests done at my appointment, yet they seemingly scheduled me too close to the end of their day, or at least the end of their patience. And falsely told me I could get the fecal exam done at the appointment. If all I was going to get were suggestions of things it might be and medication to treat one symptom of a bigger issue that may or may not be what she suggests, I would not have brought them in. I knew from Google/Quora that it could be one of her suggestions, but I brought them in to figure out what that one thing is (or at least narrow it down) using reliable tests. And not once was I told what was done in the “ comprehensive exam”. No observations on vitals, weight, or anything.Worst of all, I am still trying to figure out how to get my cats to eat so they don’t die. One of them tried eating tonight but immediately threw up, and won’t even go near the bowl at all now. Hopefully they survive two more days until I can bring them in to their normal vet.
I cannot speak highly enough about the staff and Dr. Dadgar. Yoda is very comfortable when he goes for any service and I would highly recommend taking any four-legged child to Pearland Animal Hospital
The service is always up to par. Never is a long wait. Staff is always welcoming. Frankie is a happy camper. Looking for a vet that listens and Doctors and staff truly care Pearland Animal Hospital is defiantly the place.(photo was taken at the P.A.H. during Christmas love how the go the extra mile)
When I went to this clinic, I was a mess! After his morning walk, my little boy was walking strangely and vigorously shaking his right paw. It was late morning because i tried to Google an answer. My husband insisted I take him someplace. I didnt want to go to my old clinic because I was never really happen with them and they were just too far away. I have passed Pearland Animal Hospital for more than 18 years. I always thought that since it was in Pearland, I wouldnt be able to afford it. I was desperate, so I went in. I was overwhelmed by how caring the staff was. The clinic was already booked, but they said if I didnt mind waiting, they would see me. There wasnt much of a wait. In fact, it was far less than my old clinic. The assistant took Gizmos information and the Dr. came in to see him. He even talked to me about what I was doing right and wrong in the care of my little geriatric baby. We even updated his shots, got his nails trimmed and all for a price that I felt was indeed fair. All is well with Gizmo now. And we have a new veterinary clinic that I know will partner with me in the care of my boy.
Terrible place to go. Overcharged me by about $400 for some stitches that fell out same day. Doctor wouldnt even take their time to talk with me after surgery. They will darn sure make sure you pay them be$ore they bring your pet to you. Heartless place here....there are many other honest vets around wirhout wasting your money here.
We love Pearland Animal Hospital! They have taken amazing care of our animals. They have helped us with making one of those tough decisions to let go of a pet. It was a really rough day for us but they made it much easier. The care for our pet was outstanding throughout the whole process. When we have had procedures done they were prompt with scheduling and communicated while our pet was in their care. Our Colt loves the staff and is never nervous about going to the vet! I would highly recommend them! Very knowledgeable and friendly!
We have been VERY pleased with Pearland Animal Hospital! They were so incredibly kind and caring both times we’ve had to put our pets to sleep, and every time we go in with a concern over our other pets. We so appreciate that the Doc is never in a hurry and gives our fur babies a lot of loving. They have definitely earned our loyalty!
On behave of our furry baby Pepe and our family thank you so very much for everything you did for us today. God Bless you.
Always gives me great advice as a new pet owner.
My retirement gift was acquiring a pet. I visited four clinics in preparation. None compared to what I found at the Pearland Animal Hospital. The number of qualified doctors, the friendly and knowledgeable staff members as well as their willingness to answer any and all questions set them above and beyond. I downloaded the user friendly app to serve as a quick tool to stay on top of all services. I am extremely pleased with all interactions as well as services.
Compassionate and skilled veterinarian clinic. No long waits.
The staff here is so nice. Really can’t beat the level of care and service. My pups don’t seem stressed going to the vet...they seem to think we just stop by for everyone to admire them and give them lots of attention (and a treat or two).
We want to Thank Dr. Schoeffler and team for the professionalism in helping us with our dog Tina end of Life. Tina had diabetes for 7 years and to be in our family to age 14. We were blessed.
I took my dog to Pearland animal hospital about 7 months ago to have blood work, shots, spay, heart worm meds etc. Apparently, she did have heart worms—- which are currently making her cough, and when my husband called today to make an appointment, they were like oh by the way she has heart worms and our file shows that we called and left you a message. Excuse me???? And you thought your responsibility to this animal was DONE? We never received a message. They didn’t see my dog once. They saw her twice, and my husband has been back a couple of times with a new dog we acquired foe the same service. Heart worms kill, and they didn’t deem it necessary to inform us via email or by regular mail. For them, the money had been spent and they moved on to the next “patient.” Heart worms take up to 2 years to get rid of and the results aren’t always successful. I am heartbroken; I am incensed; and I wish I hadn’t taken there in the first place had I known they would not have informed us. We have been customers for years, and PEARLND ANIMAL HOSPITAL you do not live up to the claim you make about having exceptional care for animals. If i could give you no stars I would. My dog doesn’t deserve you apathy. And as far as I am concerned MALPRACTICE. You were paid to do a job, and you FAILED!!!!!
I had an emergency and googled the nearest animal hospital. I ended up at this clinic. I was in tears and hysterical. The staff and the doctor were wonderful. They showed me so much compassion. I cannot express how much I appreciate what they did for me.
The entire experience at Pearland Animal Hospital is always a 5 star experience. They always care for both our pet and our concerns about her.
From Dr. Vazquez, to the front desk ladies, to the vet technician & Dr.Vance everyone was wonderful & friendly!!! I brought a list with questions & Dr. Vance answered & no rush. I just adopted Bella from the animal shelter & she was scared they made her feel comfortable & they were very sweet with her! That means a lot to me!!! Thank you for making my baby feel comfortable!!! I really appreciate it!!!
Pearland Animal Hospital is the best! Customer service is the most outstanding I have ever experienced. I feel as though my pets and I are actually being taken care of. The physicians are amazing and make sure to spend time with me whenever I have questions. My pets are my world, and its very hard to find somewhere I can trust to help me provide the best medical care. I have no problems with trusting everyone at PAH. Every visit is enjoyable. Even when I had to put my kitty girl down 2 Christmases ago, they were all very caring, and gave me all the time I needed with her before and after. That meant the world to me. I HIGHLY recommend PAH to any and everyone!
This is a wonderful animal care facility. When my sisters chihuahua was in a tragic accident we took her to another clinic in Pearland that didn’t give her a chance and wanted us to euthanize her immediately. Pearland Animal Hospital was amazing and cared for her with kindness. They doctors gave it to us straight while still being sensitive to our feelings. I highly recommend this facility and the great doctors and staff here. They truly go above and beyond for your fur babies.
Outstanding Service! Every lady was welcoming and informative. I will come here from now to forever for all of my new puppies health care and boosters!
Very disappointed with the recent care of my daughters beloved dog. Unfortunately Lia passed away after a week of horrible complications from surgery. I’m mostly disgusted with the after care. Lia was sent home on a Friday from an extensive surgery earlier that day with no written instructions for after care. When complications started over the weekend my daughter tried contacting the vet who performed the surgery because she was so worried & only wanted to speak to the dr who knew Lia and actually performed the surgery (she private messaged her via Facebook). That vet messaged her back “she was sorry but didn’t give clients her personal number”. No one even called to check on Lia. I will never use this PAH again. My pets are my family, if you are too good or insensitive to give your number for a peace of mind in the event that a surgery you performed has complications then you are not good enough to be my families vet. My vets in the past offered their information, I didn’t have to ask. They called to check on my pets even from a routine spay & neuter. I’ve taken our other dog Ally to PAH in the past but will be looking for a new place. Never again here...
Last week we had an emergency with my daughters bird. We took her bird to the veterinarian in this location. The following review is not for the doctors bc we didnt even made it that far, is for the receptionist that was in there. She was rude and careless on the fact that my daughters bird was sick/dying.This practice needs to hire people that care for sick pets not coldblooded people that tells a 14 year old I dont know what to tell you. On our way to the next veterinarian my daughter bird extended her wings, her heart started beating fast and died. Thank you for the lack of compassion we received!RESPONSE: My review had little to do with the state of the bird, but more with the attitude and lack of concern with your front desk. Animals pass away all the time, but your staff was callous and cold. When someone comes in for help with a dying animal, the approach and compassion go along way. Unfortunately your clinic has nobody that demonstrates that. Keep defending your staff when they are clearly wrong and more people will go elsewhere.
Do not come here for important surgery’s we came here twice and nothing improved
The staff here is amazing with the animals! From vaccines to surgery they are the best. Im speaking from experience my dogs have went to this vet for years for vaccines and illness. Recently one of my dogs got hit by a car a they have been a blessing to us and him. If you want a place you never have to worry if your animal is getting the best care...take them here.
About a month ago, I was faced with choosing suffering or the rainbow bridge for my 2 senior dogs(babies). Riley, 14, sheltie with severe skeletal problems and Sadie, 16, Australian Shepherd mix developed a fast growing mast cell tumor in one week. I tell this because when Dr Dadgar heard Monday morning a double euthanasia, she told me that she told her staff,”we’ll see.” I like that she questioned it.❤️Dr Dadgar and her staff helped to easy our pain in such a dreaded sorrowful time in my life and I’m so appreciative and grateful to them for it!When I get another dog...or two, they will go to Pearland Animal Hospital for all of their needs.P S. They sent me a sympathy card🐶🐶❤️❤️
I was a Last minute emergency and Pearland Animal Hospital was so wonderful, in every way possible, to help me. From the cleanliness of the office, the friendly staff and especially the Doctor who took time to make me feel good about my dogs situation. All were just wonderful. Thank you again.
We made the switch to Pearland Animal Hospital a couple of years ago, a decision we do not regret. Dr. Henry has been awesome! Extremely nice and wont rush you out the door. She took time to answer any questions/concerns we may have. A shout out to David too! Just when I thought our cat just wouldnt allow herself to get the examination, David was able to get her calm enough to proceed.Overall a great experience. Very friendly front desk as well. Dr. Schoeffler grew up in Pearland and is active in the community. How can you not support him?
Dr. Vance is great! My pet loves him and and hes always very comforting!
Wonderful pet hospital. Awesome reception staff. Answered all of my questions. Our lab got hit by a truck and they took excellent care of him. Definitely recommend this facility if you want your pet in the best care!
From the office staff that greets you and your pet, to the veterinary staff that examines and treats your pet, your furry family member is treated with great care and kindness. For over thirty years Pearland Animal Hospital has provided loving and thoughtful care to both us and our various family pets in both good times and bad. They are always available and go the extra mile for us.
I’ve been to this facility 2 times, the service was good and they took good care of my new cat. However, they wanted all of my personal information, employer information, job title, etc..Took the new kitten for its first shots, the dock also conducted a physical, bill was around $175.00+, no big deal. I had a follow up shots appointment a few weeks later. The vet gave the cat another physical at$75.00 and the shots, total was around $150.00, not sure why he needed another physical. Two months later I decided to get him fixed, it’s a very simple 15 min max procedure, they wanted $475 to $550 depending on options.I decided to look around at this point, literally a mile down the street, the cost was $81.00, that’s it ! They took very good care of my cat, just like the first place, everyone was very nice, even called me the next to check on him. $81.00 !!!!!!!!Thank you, I’ve found a new vet within a mile or less for 1/5 of the cost.RegardsSteve
They are always very nice. Ive never waited more than 15 minutes in the waiting room. The techs always have everything ready and they dont waste any time. We love Dr. Schoeffler. He doesnt just pop his head in to show face. He comes in and talks about your pet and shows he cares. I feel my dog is very well taken care of at this vet.
Pearland Animal Hospital has always had a wonderful group of veterinarians. I have used this clinic since 1978 and I trust all of the doctors to give our dogs the best possible care. We are always greeted by the friendly office staff and they make sure we are signed in and have everything we need for the visit. Our dogs are family and these professionals treat our animals with compassion as if they were their own. I highly recommend Pearland Animal Hospital for quality care and family atmosphere.
Big thank you to all of the staff at Pearland Animal Hospital. I am new to the Pearland area and with several animals I needed to find a veterinary clinic that could attend my dogs and my exotic pets. Pearland Animal Hospital has the staff and expertise for all of my animals needs. I find the Doctors and the staff to be very attentive and they really take their time to explain things well. I find their prices reasonable, and appointments available in a timely manner. The folks at Pearland Animal Hospital are professional, knowledgeable, attentive, caring and my animals love them too! I highly recommend this Clinic.
I was very pleased with the staff and the vet! I drove all the way back from Deer Park to Pearland because I adopted my dog in Pearland and the voucher to be be spayed was for a pearland vet. I liked Pearland Animal Hospital so much that I will be making the drive for my future visits for my pets.
This is a very at home feel. They went above and beyond to answer all ny questions and make sure i was comfortable with my fur baby being there. We had to have many test and he did great with them and i felt very comfortable. Thanks again! Very friendly staff and vets.
Had our first visit today! Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. From check in to check out it was a very great experience! Prices are very reasonable and scheduling is super easy! They were sure to explain everything and they answered all questions I had! Glad I chose pearland animal hospital! I def. will be coming back!
We recently found a stray four-month old puppy who needed a little help. The staff was wonderful in seeing him for a check-up as well as his first round of shots. the visit was comfortable, and the vet seems up to date with current treatments. This is definitely our new vet.
I started taking my dog to Pearland Animal hospital last year when we adopted him. He has always received great care. When I call with my concerns, the staff always responds quickly and ensures my pet is well. I appreciate how the receptionist is always happy to see me and my pet.
My Nikko was only 8 weeks old when he was diagnosed with parvovirus! Dr Henry and her techs took the best care of him! They saved his life! Dr Henry is literally the best ever! She cares so much and is so patient!! The techs are amazing! The staff is wonderful! Jasmine and Trudy Are always so helpful to me when booking or whenever I need help! Love them dearly
Pearland Animal Hospitals customer service is exemplary and second to none. Dr. Schoeffler is amazing and his staff follows suit! Highly recommend these folks for any and all of your veterinarian needs.(Would rate more than 5 stars if I could.)
I have been with Pearland animal hospital for 20+ years. I can honestly stay that if ALL businesses were this accommodating to their clients life would be simpler.I have always been able to see the drWithin a reasonable set time. I have even just came by with emergency and was seen immediately..I have complete confidence in all the physicians at this clinic. And that doesnt happen often
I took my eight week old shih-tzu to see Dr. Vance a couple of days ago. As always, the waiting room and examination room were very clean. The ladies in the front office are always super sweet and make you feel welcomed upon arrival. Dr. Vance is extremely thorough and explains everything to you. If youre looking for a vet in the Pearland area, I would highly recommend you give Pearland Animal Hospital a try. Trust me, you wont take your pet/family member anywhere else!
Pearland Animal Hospital is the BEST! They truly care for my dogs and always give them the best treatment including helping me understand their needs. They follow up by calling to check on them after they have been treated. I wouldnt trust my pets care to anyone else!
Both the vet and techs are so caring and patient with your pet. They dont try to rush you through the process and they take time to explain and answer any questions you may have. They call and follow up and see how you pet is doing depending on the issue at hand. I highly recommend Pearland Animal Hosp.
I really appreciate the personnel at Pearland Animal Hospital they keep me up to date on the medical needs of my pets. They care for my Dogs as if it were their own. They keep me informed at all times as to what is going on at the time of appointments or needs that come up. Thank you
Why I keep using this vet is beyond me, I sure wont in the future. Twice Ive experienced where they had no compassion for the animals. They dont care that some pet meds are so outrageously priced that the average person cant afford them. After waiting all day for them to return our call, they flat out refused to prescribe a lesser cost insulin for a pet of mine. We couldnt afford to spend an additional $330 a month after spending $260 just to find out our feline was diabetic. Also regarding the $260 charge, they lied to us while during the initial exam when they said the blood test (which alone was $184) would be less expensive since they were sending it to a lab that would take 4 days for results. We were side-lined with that cost when checking out. And on top of that we were to pay $120 every two weeks until the insulin dosage was determined. So, roughly we would have been out over a thousand dollars just to get our little cat up to a level where maybe, just maybe, her diabetes could be maintained. I had no choice but to retrieve her records and find another vet that would be a bit more compassionate towards the animal and the humans. Plus I find it very rude that when we went back to get the prescription and learn how to administer the shots that the vet couldnt be bothered with us. The clinic assistant had to keep leaving the room to go ask him a question that we needed an answer for. It was quite apparent that she didnt have much experience and couldnt answer simple questions. This is one veterinary business I will never do business with again.
I highly recommend. They took wonderful care of my Puggy with his dental procedure. Thank you all so much for a seamless, no difficulties experience!
Highly recommend! Even though we lost our dog...they were the most caring team of vets and techs! They went above and beyond the standard of care. Thank you so much !
I brought my dog there to get surgery on a cancerous mass on his foot Dr. Vance did a great job and they kept in constant communication with us after I will definitely bring all of my pets there!
I take my entire menagerie here! The service and quality of care are above and beyond and I think of the staff as family. :) Thank you for all you do!
I got an appointment on the same same of contact, which is crucial when your pet needs medical help.
Excellent experience and super friendly customer service.
I would like to thank the Vet; Cesar Simon-Vazquez, vet tech Rita and all the staff for every bit of their caring and excellent care of my poor Boots who apparently decided to get up into the serpentine belt of the jeep and break his back legs. We are all devastated with his extensive injuries that he has sustained and your wonderful care of our kitty has made it easier on us. We realize that being new clients it is difficult to establish a good rapport in an emergency but you did just that and it did not go unnoticed and was greatly appreciated. Valentin, Tristan and I and our roommate Zulema all thank you very much and will be bringing all our animals to your facility. We just moved to Brookside Village and were searching for a new veterinarian clinic.
Everyone was wonderful! Such a pleasant experience from the technician to Dr. Schoeffler. I appreciate that they took the time to address all of my concerns and actually listen to my poor Lu’s extensive health history. I am truly greatful to have found this office!
I have been taking my dogs to them since the late 80s. They are friendly, knowledgeable & responsive. Cant imagine going anywhere else. We all miss Dr. Allen. Happy retirement!
Beautiful facility, very caring staff. Ours was a difficult case, and it was handled with so much compassion and professionalism, that I have decided Pearland Animal Hospital will be the primary care provider for my pets.
I was very pleased with the VET. The cheapest as well. He diagnosed my Brutis, my baby(dog) & prescribed the correct medication that he needed. And told me to check at Wal-Mart for the BEST price!
Friendly, caring and professional service. Not much time waiting to be seen. No hard up-sell tactics.
I have been very happy with the prices, professionalism, and especially the high level of courtesy from the staff. I would definitely recommend Pearland Animal Hospital to my friends/family for their veterinary needs.
Very attentive, professional and caring.
Edit: Year 2020Here we are years later still seeing Dr. Schoeffler and Dr. Vance although making the drive from Humble to Pearland these days. What an awesome duo and team. Thank you for saving Moet!!! I appreciate all you did for her and am so happy to see her back to her normal self!!! THANK YOU
My 17 year old Beagle was not eating or drinking very much at all, his usual vet Dr. Pryor was on vacation so I called Tracys TLC Grooming where we take our boys for baths and boarding if needed, (her 1st referral was Dr. Pryor) then she said the only other vet she would refer was Pearland Animal Hospital. I called after 2pm and they worked with me to get him in the same day. The entire staff was kind, caring and friendly. We saw Dr. Trunek, she listened to us gave us our options from the very conservative to the other end with testing. She let us decide on the treatment method. Steve the vet tech was very good with our boy he drew Bandits blood quickly and Bandit did not seem to mind at all. I am so relived to find another Vet that is not just in it for the money. I felt so comfortable as they were only there to help us. They called to check on his progress 2 days in a row.Thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts.
Experienced, helpful, friendly staff - my chihuahua loves them
My poor lil fur baby Zoe fell and knocked herself completely out. I rushed her in to the office in a complete panic. Upon arrival, the staff whisked her from my arms to start treating her. The staff was absolutely amazing, truly passionate about the field that the are in. My baby was released with a concussion and very detailed instructions on what to watch for along with 24 hour contact information.I will return for routine care.
The doctors are kind. However, I do feel this office is a money hungry place as well as shrugging off a lot of the concerns I had for my fur baby.I expressed concerns about my cat’s eyes watering and Dr. Henry shrugged it off and said it was allergies. I paid for a daily checkup and she said everything was fine even though I told her she had thrown up all night. She administered a nausea shot, and we were on our way.Another month down the line, my cat has some more abdominal problems that affected her legs. We saw Dr. Vance and he suggested an x-ray, MIND YOU WITHOUT WARNING ME OF THE COST. So I was slammed with an over $300 bill of the checkup and x-ray completely baffled. What kind of service is that? I knew it might be internal and asked how much blood work would cost. ~$400 they said. I asked for help, desperate and even about animal insurance? The tech said no, they don’t take insurance and shrugged it off even though I had so many concerns about my baby. Even Dr. Vance had a surprisingly nonchalant attitude about my concern. He prescribed her some nausea medicine and again we were on our way. No problems resolved. This time I also ask about how much a groom and dental checkup would be.Dental: ~$500 for getting blood work done and anesthesia.Grooming: ~$250 because they HAVE TO anesthetize the animal. Um, no thank you, you do not. I can easily give her a shave but I did not have the right clippers for the deeper shave I wanted to give her.Next encounter I have another month later, I don’t even see the point because they haven’t helped, so I CALL to speak to a vet about my cat’s reoccurring symptoms of throwing up. No one calls me back until I call back the next day. His attitude gave me the feeling of “eh, you can’t pay for anything but here’s some nausea medicine.” Of course he’ll prescribe medicine because Dr. Vance didn’t get any money for the appointment. The medicine also said “for dogs only.”No help at all. By this time her problems have rapidly taken her body and I regret not getting a second opinion. They explain their high prices are due to the quality they give, and I would like to agree until I realized the tech was going to charge ~$250 to be groomed when normally it’s ~$80. To me, they’re trying to find things to charge in order to “give your pet the best experience.”One positive about this place - their receptionists are great with customer service and may be the only reason I went back initially. But I regret it.TLDR; EXPENSIVE place, shrugged off a lot of my concerns (probably because I don’t have any money), get a second opinion, nice receptionists.Maybe it’s good for occasional checkups if you don’t have any major concerns.I thought my fur baby was healthy enough but they didn’t catch it nor did they really try.I promise you can find a place down the road (like VCA Westside Animal Hospital) that will give you just as good a quality of care, maybe even better, for a fraction of the price. It would have been nice if they had even expressed concern about my worries and suggested to go elsewhere. I just feel like they wanted my money.Bloodwork doesn’t have to cost over $300. There are places that offer $150-$250.
Last used PAH....years ago.For my horse had great service.Came in recently was very impressed..Friendly and great service...very clean. Thanks
Used to be a great place! Some of the doctors and staff that are now gone are truly missed! Please make an effort to keep the friendly business going that was started by Dr. Stevener/Dr.Allen.
Used to take my cat Mochi here, but had to stop because of the last visit I had here. My cat started to act very ski dish and off character at around midnight. The best way to describe it is that he saw a ghost, but obviously I knew it wasnt that. The next day he was a little better, but still acting off I decided to take him in because I thought maybe he is going blind and cant see and thats why he was acting weird. so i took him in that morning to get a check up. When the doctor came in he asked if he had been eating, drinking and using the litter box normally. I told him that he had I cleaning out the litter box that night and before we left I saw that it had been used and he was drinking and eating like normal. After answering he checked him and said that he could have something wrong with his bladder, but an X-ray would tell for sure. I was confused as to why but I said okay and asked how much the X-ray was going to be he said $250. I was okay with that but wanted to wait a day or two to see if he was going to start showing real signs like not using the bathroom. The doctor said that if I didnt have the money treatments can be expensive. I took huge offense to that sense I always took my cat here and payed for everything he needed, but didnt see a point in paying for an X-ray when he didnt have any signs of that. He still sent me home with the meds to treat it which where only about $60 for the two. But I still had a soar taste in my mouth because I could tell the vet didnt want to have anything to do with me after I said I wasnt going to pay for the X-ray. I went to another vets that same day and they checked him turned out he was going slightly blind in one eye nothing was wrong with his bladder! I wasted $130 going to this place and would have wasted even more if I had gotten the X-ray. This place has turned into a money hungry facility. If your going to charge prices that are up there with good vets office than be a good vet office. luckily I didnt give my pet the meds because he didnt need them. I would NEVER go to this vet office again. Overpriced and give false diagnosis.
The absolute best veteranarian practice, ever!! Everyone, including staff at PAH, are fantastic. My dogs usually see Dr. Vance so Im partial to him....besides Dr. Stevener 😊
Staff are very friendly and efficient. I have a puppy so only have basic needs but the doctors are great and answer all your questions.
The staff and Vet are great. Friendly, warm and most of all patient and calm with our Lily.
Very friendly staff. Great ease of service. They really care to meet the needs of you and your pet(s).
Weve recently moved to this side of town and were searching for a Vet to become established with....the convenience of hours, the central location and the Bios of the physicians made it a clear winner for us....
Fast service in seeing my dog. It made a difference when I had so much going on and the emergency of a sick dog took precedence.
Much better than other chain vet clinics with drop-off appointments. Dr. Vance really seems to care about his patients.
Awesome service and everyone that has ever helped us; vets, techs and staff, have been great. Love this place.
