Hello Travis, I called hertz several times apparently there is no one employed there by the name Travis. I still have yet to receive a phone call or email about my items. I would like to know what’s going on before this goes further please, thanks.
Absolutely terrible service. These people are rude. They hung up the phone on me and refused to give me my deposit back. They gave me a car with a half a tank of gas. They also never sent me a closing out bill and never even told me they were taking my deposit. i had to call and that’s when the woman hung up on me. NEVER rent from these people. Awful customer service
Such an easy group of people who work here. They had a similar car available within an hour and were flexible on returning it. They even set up a pickup at the dealership I purchased from to make my life easier. Thanks Kelly!
I rented a almost brand new van with all the fixings for a few days while my car was at a bodyshop. The people at hertz took really good care of me because i left my debit card in the van after returning it and they called me right away to tell me i could swing by and pick it up. I was informed of all the charges beforehand and didnt feel like anything was left out or overlooked. If i have to rent a vehicle again, i know just where to go
Worst experience ever! Staff is very rude! Car had very strong perfume odor, which I am allergic to. Closed before 6 pm which is their posted time! Never received a copy of my final bill. Charged extra charges when the car was clean when dropped off. Guess they need to pass the extra covid cleaning charges onto someone!
My rental had no AC. They were refusing to replace it and getting someone to answer the phones were impossible.
Stopped in to rent a car. No cars, thats the point?
Make sure you don’t forget anything they will steal “trash your valuables”

Worst customer service, car ran out of gas 7 miles from taking it, called ther emergency line several times only to wait, over 1 hour no answer, a friend of mine brought me gas terrible terrible no service at all.
Hertz car rental rt1 Saugus mass. Do not rent from this business unless you enjoy being treated very poorly. The staff is ignorant and not trustworthy. Go to enterprise rather than this very poor excuse for a professional business. I just had the worst experience of my life with them. No vehicle after being promised and reserved for a specific day. Staff couldn’t care less that I had no vehicle and told me to leave. I’d rather rent a turtle to get around then to do business with these unprofessional people!!!

Worst experience with any rental company ever. Ive never been treated so terribly by a company. Showed up for my reserved, confirmed 5:30pm pickup time, to a closed office. 30 minutes before they are scheduled to close. Tried calling customer service and spent an hour trying to get an actual person on the line, only to be told that they didnt believe me that I had showed up before closing because it was now 6:30pm. Tried calling the actual location the next day and was told there was nothing they could do for me and SOMETIMES THEY JUST LEAVE EARLY IF THE OFFICE IS EMPTY. Despite my having a reservation at 5:30. They refused to offer any assistance or discount after forcing me to reschedule an entire days travel and driving an hour round trip to their office to try to pickup a car from an office that just decided to close early. I will never use Hertz again.
Whenever a customer needs a rental car due to their car being at our shop for repairs- we call Hertz in Peabody. They are always on time and do everything to make it as hassle-free for our customer as possible. We are proud to work with such an outstanding team!

Great staff. If you need to schedule a pick up or drop off, they definitely make an effort to work with you. Just keep an eye out for the building. Its hard to see the turn coming up.

Worst experience with rental EVER!!!! I would give negative stars if that were an option!!! Watch out for what you are signing for beacuse they will ask you to sign and not tell you whatever they feel like they want to add on. Like $1500 extra on top of $1000 rental charge.

Very professional and helpful . they will go out of their way to accommodate you .I am a first time Uber driver and while waiting for my vehicle to arrive they kepted me informed of the situation . Best of everything to Shaun, Tiffany and the rest of the staff .
The employee where very nice.
One of their customers collided with the rear of my vehicle at a rotary when we had to stop for an emergency vehicle. There was minor damage and the driver stated he had the supplementary insurance on the vehicle. We exchange info and went on our way. I called this Peabody location where the rental was made to inquire about the coverage and how to file a claim. The employee on the phone said to deal with the driver, that they are self insured and I could not file a claim with them. That made sense, so I stated ok, Ill let my insurance take care of the claim. His response was go right ahead and he laughed at me and hung up. Not the customer service one would expect from a reputatable organization. Or a quality customer service professional. I guess he is not.
They told me i was going to pay one price then when i dropped the car off they told me a total diffrent price... Horrible.

Stupid staff, the car they gave me came off the truck and smelled horrible, wasn’t clean and had no gas. They didn’t seem to know what they were doing.
Steer clear of this rental company! Coustomer service is a term they know nothing about.The first problem I had with them was the car class advertised was not available but the price didnt change to the lower class.The second problem was the car they gave me instead was not road worthy. I didnt realize this when I left the parking lot. I went directly to a gas station and filled up the tank because it was on empty. Within a couple hours I realized the car wasnt maintained. It would click loudly when turning. The car wasnt leagle to be on the road, it had no front license plate! I was risking getting a ticket by driving a car that wouldnt pass the safty part of the MA RMV inspection sticker test.When I went back to exchange the car for a different one. They did exchange the car for another one with an empty tank of gas. When I asked if they could credit me for a the tank of gas I gave them in the not road worthy car they said they could not.Renting from this company has cost me a lot more in wasted time and money than the rental should.

Tried to inquire about a uber rental reservation and a guy answered with very little enthusiasm. Sounded like he was on drugs...after all it is Peabody ma. The business is terrible and im not sure why Hertz got these people operating under their name

Ive had several excellent experiences with Hertz Peabody! Im now traveling between CA and MA 3-4 times a year now and have found the Team at Hertz Peabody to be very accommodating over the last couple years. The location is great as its only about a 200 yard walk to the Massport Logan Express Shuttle, which also provides a great connector service into and out of Logan Airport. They have after hours drop-off which is great for leaving your car and catching the 4:15 or 5:15AM Shuttle. This office delivers much better rates than renting right at the airport, and the shuttle to/from airport only takes 30 mins in morning or about 45 mins in afternoon. Only tiny draw back is you have to be on the 4:30pm shuttle from Logan to make the 6:00pm office closing time in Peabody. If the office was open til 6:30pm, you could actually catch the 5:30pm shuttle from Logan and still pick-up car same night by 6:30pm. Definitely works for me though and I recommend them!
Why does it have to be always the Peabody branch with hertz rental service conduct !.I make my angry rant short and clean, I came to the location to pick up an Uber hertz reservation vehicle and was smacked in the face by these arguments from la shun, the gm and one of his associates1 you can reserve as meany cars as you want but if we do not have a car to give you the young gettig one .2 if you called our area manager, it is going to be the same .3 man, life is tough Nd it is kind of hard ( to work for Uber I guess) or ( to not have a vehicle of your own !!)4 we can put you on a waiting list for an Uber car and you need to call everyday to check with us .I hate to,sound like I am complaining but you truly assume that Uber drivers are some scams with no merit or career orientation. thanks
I only gAve them 1 star because I had to. Worst service ever, this is my 2nd horrible experience with hertz. I was told when I got my rental at ira toyota by the hertz employee to leave the key and vehicle with the service dept when my own vehicle was done. I did exactly what I was told. I was looking at my bill of my credit card they took even though my own car ins was covering my rental and there is 229.00 charge. I called hertz peabody and called hertz corporate center. They told me my charges were for a tow I did not have and for 3 days I did not have the rental. These people are horrible and unprofessional as they come. Do not take their word for anything they will totally screw you over due to incompetence. The best their corporate office could do for me was say they will send it to their research dept and get back to me via email. Lets see how this goes.
Trying to get a rental car through Uber was not a pleasurable experience. Staff said that no one tells client of waiting time. 800 customer service number didnt mention anything about waiting time either. Bad match up with Uber and Hertz

Worst experience ever. I rent cars a lot and never had such an experience as this one. First, the person that picked me up scared me to death with his driving. Speeding and tailgating. He hardly said 2 words to me. Then I received a car that smelled so bad of smoke that I was sick for 4 days with laryngitis and respiratory problems. I called the office and really did not get much help. BTW, every time I called the office, I was p[laced on hold for a long time. I also called the corporate office and was disconnected twice. I was given a name of a person at the Boston office. I left 2 messages without a call back. The rental car sat in my driveway until I returned it. I will thick twice before renting from Hertz again.

Horrible service, the assistant manager wasted 2 hours of my time. They claim their systems were down and had to do everything on paper. I left without a rental and they charged me for a car I never rented! They made up fake mileage and said it was driven across country!

I called them for an information, Rick answered the phone, he was very unprofessional, he was rude on the phone, he didnt want to answer my question: Why I couldnt rent a Hertz car through Uber in other locations if Hertz website allows you to do it, he simply hung up the phone.

Charging you for things that you dont need to pay, say you one price of car and charge you different bigger price, dont return your deposit at credit card, taking your gas refueling deposit even you return car with gas and than when you call them they giving you that $21 back in 3 weeks.Im never going to rent a car with them!Ivan
