I am currently on a business trip. When I called to extended rental my personal credit card was charged. Avis customer service advised to go in person to have card update. When I entered this location @ 3:20 the worker said he is only helping the next two customers. One of the other customers commented you close at 4pm. Employee says I dont get paid after 4pm so I am leaving. Again the other customer and myself say its only 3:20.

I rented a car for work with uber for couple weeks, i got first overcharged, second the manager and assistant manager or the most rude and ignorant people i ever see in my life, he was very rude and telling me to shut up, was my first experience and last with avis . About the car? My nissan sentra was duty, the car didn’t have any brake, service was way overdue, poor maintenance. So was a horrible experience in general that i hope never see anymore.

Horrible experience. I have rented car from this location before and the awfulness of the service keeps touching the new heights. This time when I rented a car, employee marked fuel as full and when I got into the car, it was at quarter level. When I informed about this, he updated the level as half in the contract instead of marking at quarter. Then when I asked him why, he told me to take pictures if I want for a proof. When I went on to take pictures of fuel level, I thought let me take odometer reading as well for a proof that I didnt drive and fuel was initially at quarter. I found out odometer reading was also wrong. He put 2450 where it was 2848 instead. This wasted my half an hour.Moreover, when i went to return the vehicle, emploee was vacuuming the other cars and then he charged me for an extra hour for 4 minutes late. When I asked why, he said he cant do anything.Horrible service!!!! Never coming back and I urge others as well to not appreciate this kind of business.

This experience ive had here has been unbelievable (and not in a good way) ive rented an Uber car from here for about a year. I’ve literally NEVER gotten anyone on the phone the 475 times I’ve called with an issue (and it’s usually them calling me telling me my payment is 4+ days overdue because their employees never withdrew the funds from my account. And when they do it can literally be any day of the week almost as if they decide to withdraw funds from your account whenever they feel like it) i always get transferred over to Avis corporate and all they tell me is any issue I have with my Uber rental location (that never answers the phone.) I have a full time job I’m at until 430 5pm everyday. This particular Avis location is supposed to be open till 6pm Monday-Friday. I’ve got there @ 5:20 5:30 5:45 and they’ve been closed. I’m just recently got a call from and “China mainland” number didn’t answer because I personally don’t know anybody that’s in China at the moment then get a 30 second voicemail from that number which happened to be avid saying my payment is 4 days overdue and I need to return the vehicle immediately to avoid charges... my payment dates are thursdays. They’ve been making the withdrawals accurately for a few months now no issues. Funds have ALWAYS been available. Yet I’ve talked to my bank and they’ve said there’s been no attempt to withdraw money via Avis. This has happened to me in the past where I decided to call ahead and pay my bill to avoid this. But then they would charge me AGAIN AFTER my bill would be paid. So right now I’m afraid to try and pay the bill myself via website or phone because I don’t want to be charged double or triple for a single week of driving smh. I’ve gone inside and have had an employee tell me to my face after dealing with the same incident Thats I’m dealing with now that I had to wait an hour or two for the payment to process and my Uber account will be back in working order for me to drive. That was not the case. In fact, I couldn’t Uber or get back to the Avis to confront the employee of his bold faced lie until that following Monday (3 days of driving opportunity to pay for the vehicle I’m driving week to week right? And it’s the weekend at that) when I go in Monday there’s another employee I explain to him what the employee of Friday explained to me and with a bewildered look he said he has no idea what that kid was talking about and in a matter of 15 seconds my Uber account was working and I could drive again. And yes I still had to pay full price for the Uber vehicle the following week as if I were capable of making money off of it for half of the week. Extremely frustrated with this place

They never answer the phone and I dont recommend going to them. I see why they have such horrible reviews. Its very clear this company does not value their customers. I tried calling literally 37 times throughout the day today and Ive been on hold for over an hour before I hung up and kept calling. If I could I would give 0 stars. Stay far away from this company if you can even call it that smh

I made a reservation based on one price and they tried to charge a different price! I ended up not renting the vehicle because it was very sketchy and unprofessional! Go somewhere else folks!

I called avis representative and made reservation for a small, compact car. I had claim number for car accident and was told that i could use that claim number and it would cover rental. I would not have to pay anything on arrival.So i got to avis and was told that my claim was actually made for budget rental, i was responsible for 100 percent of the bill, which i could send to my insurance and the car i got was a large Malibu which could not fit into my small parking area, which is why i requested compact car in first place.Not a great experience is an understatement.

Dan was really good to me and helpful,very respectful,I was charged$750 after I turned car in 9days later, they didnt care,the woman was ignorant and was just saying anything to avoid my questions,it was a few days before Christmas . pretty sas thats all the money I had for most gifts .so upset also totally just took my money and laughed in my face is what they really did

I do not recommend Avis at all. I needed a vehicle and I drive Uber so I called to book a reservation, got it booked at 8am. When I arrived the place was locked and didnt open until 10 am so I sat outside the cold rain for 2 hours. When they opened the guy told me honestly we dont have any clean cars they didnt clean any over the weekend and I only work here on Monday. So I said okay thats not a big deal. I went to give him my license and debit card and he said oh we cant use debit cards has to be a credit card. Well when I called and made the reservation I asked the woman speaking specifically if debit cards are acceptable because I dont have a credit card. She said yeah thats no problem. Well it was and I was stuck an hour away from my home with no way to go. Dont rent from this company they are terrible. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Went for an 8 am reservation for no one the be in the office on time. Gave them until 8:45 before I had to get to work myself. Now Avis wants me to pay a 150 cancellation fee for cancelling my reservation because their incompetent employee cant make it to work on time? Ridiculous. Get more accountable employees before expecting to charge someone for something thats well in your control.

I dot recommend Avis at all, and I am not going to rent with them again no matter what.They take the money out of ur account twice a week, and then return the deposit which takes at least 3 days to come back to ur account. I rented from this company for 1 month and 1 week and every single week I had the nightmare that I wake up in the morning and my account balance comes to -252 for a couple days. I returned the car maybe this nightmare comes over, but it is not over yet... I returned the car a bit late, but the person working there told me that she was successful voiding it for me so I went home and I was waiting for my 252 to come back to my account but surprisingly I saw not only the money did not come back to my account, but my account balance is -252 which means I got charged twice again and no car . I dont know where my money is. It is so annoying, the customer service is awful, literally no one can help you, only the location can help and they do not answer the phone...

Slow pickup - Waiting for 90 year old printers and other outdated technology. Inconvenient location - suburban, but not near any transportation options after dropoff. Otherwise, car was clean and in good condition.

Rude rude rude, waited like 15 minutes while she chatted with fellow employee about trivial stuff, we have like a prime account and car was crisp. Inside was unclean, outside of vehicle was scratched up, a lot, scuffs all over, paint scraped off, just very unhappy. Husband drove and he said acceleration was non existent, concerned that if we had to get out of someones way, we could not

I do not understand that they believe those people gave the vehicle last week and they still keep taking the money from the rent but what they think they take into account when renting in this place I do not recommend it at all 😡😡😡😡😡
