I rely on McKell Automotive, Brian and his son Hunter have always treated me with the utmost respect. As I was waiting to get my oil changed yesterday a woman walked into the shop, told Hunter her check engine light had came on. He went to check it out for her, came back within minutes and informed her her gas cap was off and if the light came back on she should replace it. No charge to her. Ive seen and experianced other companies who would have taken full advantage of a woman and some men to fill their pockets. I love their honesty.

I went to McKell because my regular place couldnt get me in. Ive found a new regular place. They were so fast and kind, and because it was a very minor repair, they didnt charge me. I will be back, and I highly recommend.

These mechanics were so kind and quick. We were on a road trip from Ogden to St. George and our alternator went out in Payson. We called around to multiple shops and were told to they wouldn’t be able to help us for a week. McKell told us to bring it on by and they would let us know from there. They checked to see if it could fix the wiring harness but it was the whole piece. Fairly priced for helping us out in a pinch. Thank you

I went in to have an oil change and Chase addressed all my concerns and answered questions I had about my air filters. He even showed me how to access my cabin filter and was just over all very helpful. I appreciated the customer service I received.

I was passing through town to go camping when I had a check engine light come on (The vehicle was also a little sluggish on start up). I Was pretty concerned when i called at 5:00 pm on a Friday, but Hunter and Chase were more than willing to fit me in before closing time. They gave the vehicle a quick diagnostic check and found/fixed one possible issue for the sluggish start up (which made a definite improvement of the issue) I made it to my destination and back home without any issues. I can’t speak highly enough of these guys! They really helped me out of a bind!

These guys are great mechanics who arent out to sell you stuff you dont need. I took my truck in for an exhaust leak, and they quickly found the problem and repaired it. When I got the bill, it was less than half of what I figured it would be. These guys deserve your business! Dont lay on your back in the driveway trying to fix that issue that has been bugging you for weeks. Just bring it here, and get it fixed right the 1st time.

It was very kind they got me in Monday morning and did an oil change in about 30 minutes. Good price on emissions test. They have done a cash discount for me each time which saves some too.

Im really happy about my decision to have my emissions done at this garage. The price was cheaper than any place I have been to, it was done faster than any other place, and even the on site renewal is cheaper than other places Ive been to. My only complaint I can have is that please make sure that you close the hood completely, I ended up on the Interstate before I realized that it wasnt fully closed. Outside of that small thing this place was awesome! =D

WOW! Amazing Customer Service, Plus I was in and out of there with my emissions test in less than 8 mins. These guys really took great care of me and my SUV! I noticed in the little time that I was there that they totally know what they are doing and are sincerely personable.

Great service. I was told by one place that something had to be completely replaced. At Mckells auto they were able to fix the issue without completely having to replace the part. Even though from only coming here once, I feel like they are super honest and reliable.

I had these guys check out a used car that I was planning on buying from out of state. They gave me a full description and advice on the vehicle and saved me from buying a lemon. They were easy to work with and responsive to all my requests. If I lived in this area I would bring my own vehicles to them.

Ive been going to this place for over 20 years. It has changed ownership a few times, but I will say out of all of them, the owner is VERY informative, fair on his prices, does his job and does it very good. I had to have my entire exhaust replaced a year ago. He was the cheapest quote and the got it in and out that same day since it was my only form of transportation at the time and I couldnt afford to miss work. A few months later, I hit something that made my muffler start making funny noises, I took it in, he made all the adjustments and no charge, even though it was my fault. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My battery went out and it was later in the day and they were about to close but they stayed later so they could replace it for me and get me back on the road. Not to mention they put a top of the line battery in at an incredible price! I was so grateful! Fixed my car here out of necessity and they endlessly tacked stuff on, regardless of my requests not to do so, and without much communication. Guess the pricing was reasonable including all the added stufd i never asked for. The interior of my car was also much dirtier/muddier afterwards.

The owner Brian Mckell, of Mckell Automotive is an honest, reliable mechanic. He listens and educates customers about the work that needs to be done. He is very fair when it comes to pricing on repairs. Repairs are done to the highest standards and in a timely manner. I would never take a car anywhere else for repairs. I appreciated the care and concern, excellent customer service!

The guys at McKells were quick with their service however I had to go back with the same issue to only be told it was gonna be another $400 above the $700 I already paid just frustrated that it wasn’t fixed the first time.

I have been going to McKells since he took over the shop. Brian is very honest and does great work. My husband recently took his car to a shop closer to his work and days afterwards it stopped working again. He decided that he would make the trip to McKells from now on.
