Alpha Plumbing was recommended to me by a friend who had to have almost all of her pipes replaced. She was right when she told me that they were easy to work with, scheduled quickly, and did a great job. Liam repaired 2 leaks in the basement, one of which was from the toilet on the first floor. He was very polite and friendly, and it was obvious he knew what he was doing and completed the jobs quickly. I will use them again, and highly recommend them.

They got to the heart of the plumbing leak and answered questions about other plumbing issues while here which was very helpful. Just wish they told us that the drywall repair would require either a projecting patch or a redrywalling of the whole wall since the compression straps on the pipes project out beyond the wall plain.

Chuck and his team went above and beyond to help me resolve a difficult plumbing situation, even after it was a job that his company could not complete due to safety issues.I bought a new townhouse in February 2021. A few months after settling in, anytime we used the water, the sinks began stopping up and the basement began flooding. After a visit from the county, it was discovered that my sewer pipe was broken, and had been for many years (lesson here: always pay to get your pipes video inspected when buying a property). At the time, the county informed me that the repairs were my responsibility. With my standpipe being located 10.5ft underground, surrounded by a sidewalk with power lines and everything else running underneath this was going to be a job that was costly, dangerous, time consuming, and disruptive to my neighbors.After numerous plumbers came out, I called Alpha Plumbing to see if it would be possible to repairs the damage using the new trench-less pipe repair process. Chuck, the owner, came out for a diagnosis and after determining we would not be able to repair the pipe using the trench-less method, devised a plan to dig to make the repairs. Beforehand dig day, Chuck even took the time (it was a crazy long time on hold) to speak with my Home Warranty to explain the repairs. Unfortunately, my home warranty would not cover the repairs even though I had an exterior sewer line policy. Disappointed, I was still ready to move forward because Alpha Plumbing offers great financing and payment options and this pipe had to get fixed.When Chuck and his crew showed up on the first day of my work vacation to make the repairs they were unable to complete the repairs due to excessive water flooding and worker safety. At this point, most plumbers would be done and move on. Not Chuck. Not only did he not charge me for the unfinished work, after speaking with a one of his professional contacts, he found county drawings for my community that demonstrated that the standpipe was within the county utility easement. Using those drawings and the plats from my assessment, Chuck returned that afternoon to measure and document the easement and the location of my pipe within that space. The next day, Chuck emailed the Countys Department of Public Works on my behalf to explain the issue and lobby for them to make the repairs. I spoke with Chuck on the phone and thanked him profusely. He told me to enjoy my vacation and that he hoped when I returned the issue would be resolved. The next morning I received a call from my daughter that the County had arrived and was repairing the standpipe.There are not enough words to express my gratitude to Chuck and his team at Alpha Plumbing for going above and beyond to help a customer resolve their plumbing issue. Chuck is not just a fantastic business owner, but wonderful human being, and great citizen for our community. Chuck will be the ONLY person I call for all my future plumbing needs.

Getting my tub drain pipe repaired was an Excellent experience. My church uses Alpha Plumbing so they were the first company I called. Setting up the appointment was very easy and pricing was explained to me up front. Brian (the plumber who came to my house) was very courteous and easy to talk to and answered all my questions. What he was able to do in a short time would have taken several hours for me to do, running to and fro to the home improvement stores to get all the right components for the repair. The tub drain pipe configuration wasnt a normal setup, but he quickly came up with the parts to complete the repair. Brian also inspected other components associated with my tub and found everything in order. I will definitely call Alpha Plumbing for any future plumbing problems that I cant solve on my own. They moved the gas line to a new location in our kitchen. They came and did it the same day that they gave us the quote. They were professional and clean and we were very pleased with the service.

One of my children threw a toy in the toilet and we couldnt get it out. I called up Alpha Plumbing and they scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Bob Taylor called me the morning of and verified our appointment. He showed up on time and got right to work. He ended up needing to take the entire toilet off to get this toy, but he worked quickly and efficiently. I am very pleased with his work and my toilet finally works again! The one and only complaint I have is that he wasnt wearing a mask and was coughing in my house, so I was a little concerned. I have 5 young kids that are unvaccinated and Im trying to keep them safe. If he felt comfortable enough to come into my house maskless, I can only assume he goes into other houses like that. With there still being a pandemic, this is very concerning. Im hoping that the company will put protocols in place to make sure their staff is still wearing masks, especially in someone elses house. Other than that, it was very good service!

I recently had two toilets replaced and two new ones installed. The cost was reasonable and every individual I spoke with was professional and friendly. They were also super quick and were able to offer an appointment the same day I called. I highly recommend and will be using them for any future plumbing needs!

The plumber that was sent out to do the inspection on my sprinklers tried to extract an additional $125.00 from my and I husband. The price that was quoted for the service to my neighbors and I was $125. He waited for one of my neighbors to arrive which was approximately 15 minutes and he didnt charge her a wait time. However, he tried to charge me $250 stating that there was an issue with my valve and that it needed to be replaced. My house is less that 1 year old and currently under warranty. He never asked to replace the part, he just went ahead and did it. I requested that he remove the so called new part and then miracleously it worked and past the inspection. I will never use this company since their plumbers are in the business of overcharging African Americans for the same service they provided to my 3 neighbors with the same homes that were built at the same time for the same service.

Recently had to have a sewer line replaced due to roots in old cast iron. Had estimates from 3 companies. Unbeknownst to the people who came out, I was once a plumber years ago. I could tell that some of the things I was being told by the other two companies werent quite right. Score one for Alpha Plumbing. They also focus on this type of work as opposed to we do everything even though they are a full service plumbing company. Score two. Just read the side of their trucks. They also provided best price. Score three although item 2 was what mostly influenced my decision. I just felt they knew more about what they were doing. I was really glad that I chose them once they did work. Sewer Lines were 9 feet deep so considerable backhoe work. The backhoe operator was superb. Naturally there will be some damage to your lawn, but I was pleasantly surprise how little damage there was. Of course, as a homeowner you will have to renovate where trench was dug as expected. Again reasonable price, excellent work, minimal collateral damage.

Chuck gave me a well thought out estimate of what I should let his plumbers do for my bathroom model-remove the bathtub, sink and toilet and put in the new shower valve and install the new tub, sink and toilet.
