I came in to get threaded and was accommodated on short notice. As the beautician was doing her thing, she suddenly and unexpectedly walked away. I wasn’t sure if she had finished or what was going on? I looked in her direction - she was a few feet away at this point - and asked her if we were done. She just dismissively waved her hand vaguely in my direction. I took that as a “yes.” I decided to shrug it off as the treatment seemed to meet my needs. I then proceeded to take out $20 at the in-store ATM for the $6 service. While paying at reception, I said I wanted to pay $8 for the service, so a $2 tip. Pandemic or not, I’d feel awful not tipping, even if the service wasn’t all that great. So I handed over my $20… and was handed back $6. I counted and re-counted. I should’ve gotten $12 back. I had to pull out my phone and actually show them that $20-$8 = $12, and repeatedly! It was ridiculous. Suffice it to say, I’m not coming back.
Absolutely love this place! I am new to Pasadena and this is now my go to spot for sure!!! 💕
Smiles, great vibes, sunny open room, massage chair - price and job were both good.
My first time coming here a had to wait 30 minutes with an appointment. My second time was only about 10 minutes. Every one is very nice. I will return again. First impressions are not always what they seem.
I will never go to this salon again. I had been going for a couple months and had a good experience, but the most recent time I went they were dishonest about their prices and way overcharged me for the service. I made an appointment a day in advance and requested a dip manicure. On their pricing menu in their salon, it says that a dip manicure is $28. When the lady finished my nails, I went to pay and was told that my bill was $48. When I pointed out that their menu said the service was $28 the lady gave me some flimsy explanation that dip powder and dip manicure as are different things. Regardless, I specifically requested a dip manicure so I should not have been up-charged for a service that I didnt receive. They dipped my nail twice and then put a coat of gel on top. If a gel manicure there is regularly $30 then there is no reason that two dips of powder and gel on top should be $48. If you value doing business with people that show integrity then I would strongly discourage you from going here.
Love this place. Very friendly staff, great prices and outstanding work. I always get compliments on my nails. I highly reccommend.
Fantastic service and great selection of OPI, Essie, gel colors and more. Jackie gave the best leg massage Ive ever had at a nail salon! I will be coming back for sure. $38 for the deluxe spa pedicure and he did a great job.
I was recommended during my visit in Pasadena, and am really glad I found this sweet place. The staff is very Nice. Fong knew exactly what I wanted for my nails, and they look incredibly healthy and great! I got shellac French nails. Fong shaped them so neatly so they wont split or break. I also met the owner Jennifer, she is very friendly and spoke with everyone. I really appreciate that about her. This was my first eye brow threading, it obvious she is very talented at threading, and being sure they kept their natural appearance too. The place is reasonable price, bright, clean and Happy! Its too bad they do not have a website, best kept secret.
My go-to salon for pedis and eyebrow threading! Tran is an eyebrow threading superstar. Everyone I know can attest. I also love how the owner, Jennifer, remembers everyones names and treats every customer like a friend. You will not be disappointed. A Pasadena gem!
Did a simple clear manicure and the lady left wax on my nails after a hand wax treatment. The ruined my Polish, and still expected a tip.
They rock at threading!!! Pedi service is great too :)
I hated it! And will NEVER GO BACK. EVERY THING WAS WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!😢😞😔😭👹👺👅💔
Overpriced, hard to find location, did not a great job on my eyebrow shape,
The best
