We’ve rented twice from Walt at this location now. He was so helpful and friendly the first time, we saw now reason to even look elsewhere. We were in a pinch, needed a truck on very short notice, and of course Walt came through for us.Hands down, from Texas to Maryland, this is one of the best locations uhaul has! Walt is an asset!

Great experience. Highly recommend had us in our uhaul quick and drop off was a breeze. The guy at the counter provided great customer service and was very helpful.

Walt and his team were able to save the day on my moving day! I reserved a uhaul (at another location and they cancelled.) When calling Uhaul, they suggested using Pak Mail and said the owner would call to confirm the truck and pick up time. He called me within 10 minutes and let me know the truck was ready for pickup. We are very grateful to Mr. Walt for his sincere commitment in helping us in a personal matter that required us to place a Stop Delivery/Return to Sender with FedEx. Mr. Walt kept us informed during a frustrating and stressful 30 days that our package was being held/in transit at a Halethorpe FedEx warehouse. I blame FedEx for their irresponsible management. Especially being that the package was at a warehouse just a few minutes away from Walt’s store and they would not allow us to go retrieve it. I am happy to report that upon receiving the package yesterday, nothing was missing or tampered with resolving this important matter.

This place is without a doubt one of the best businesses I’ve had to deal with. To set the scene, i just finished a long hot run and I needed to send out a package for my mom. I walk in and the cashier and I are conversing about how hot it is and I mention I just got done running and I was rushing home to get some water. The guy offered me one of his water bottles (sealed of course) from the back and I asked if he could put a dollar or two onto my order just to cover for the water and he told me it was free. What a nice guy and what a great run store!!

Customer support is stellar. Ive rented vehicles several times from these folks and in every case they have gone out of their way to make it easy. Theyve met me at the store when it was closed, called around to find trucks, fought with uhauls horrible reservation system. These folks are pros, and I wouldnt hesitate to use them for anything that they offer.

From comparing the different shipping methods to helping me out with my business needs and the best thing is you will never have to stand in line like you do in the Post Office. I needed to ship the pieces of a 9 tall, plastic T-Rex. Heavy. Big box needed. I got an estimate using their online service and decided to go for it. Walt and his team were super friendly and helpful. Measured the individual pieces and tried to figure out the most economical way to ship. The shipment arrived in Colorado in only 5 days, in perfect shape, and for $100 less than the original estimate! I couldnt be happier with my experience. Will definitely use Pak Mail again. I have visited his business several times and have always received excellent service! Always a friendly person at the reception desk willing and ready to help! Twice I have had to return large size area rugs and the guys have come out to my car and carried them in for me. They scan the return slip, hand me my receipt and I am on my way! I have mailed packages to friends, returns to both Amazon and Overstock and all of these transactions have been taken care of quickly and always by a friendly staff member! i would and HAVE recommended this business to many friends, family and my own customers! The parking is always available and even when I have pulled up to the curb with my heavy returns I have been helped within minutes! This is an A++ place to take your next packaging and mailing business! They even create customized packing boxes for odd shaped objects!

Walt and his staff are wonderful! I have been using their service for the past year and half and never have had a complaint from my customers regarding their items. About a month ago I used them to ship a Royal Albert Heirloom Fine China set to a woman in FL and she received it within a week and intact. Walt and his staff are always eager to assist, give me the best prices and willing to work with me. I highly would use them to pack and ship any of my items because I know they are in good hands.

The people there were extremely nice and understanding. Though i asked them to send it through UPS and they delivered through USPS, though I give them the benefit of the doubt because finding the address and zip code was extremely difficult (it was international). I’m confused as to why they did this but the cost was extremely low and they were nice since they knew I was extremely nervous. USPS ended up losing my package which will always be heartbreaking to me but when I came back wanting to know information, they couldn’t do anything but explain different ways to see if I could find it and give me the information to further try to find it. They did remember me and helped me find somewhat of a conclusion to it all. I would go back again to deliver a package but to just make sure how it’s delivered and to put insurance on it.

The gentlemen were so helpful! I needed to return amazon products but didn’t have the label printed. They walked me through the process and I was out the door in less than 5 minutes. So patient and sweet to the pregnant lady that doesn’t get technology! I highly recommend!

Pak Mail is the best! I am moving to Australia and have been trying to find a place that would certify documents for my new job. After several failed attempts, my dad came across Pak Mail and sure enough they came to the rescue. Not only was I able to have all of my documents certified, but they were also able to send them as priority shipping for the same price it would have cost me with USPS for standard shipping. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend Pak Mail to anyone in the area!

Had company to send a set of speakers from Baltimore to my home. Explained to company the value of speakers and what they meant to me.in short, upon returning from vacation (5 days after delivery.. Also explained this to company). One corner of the speakers was crushed. No problem, I had paid for insurance. Claim was denied because there was not damage in pictures of opened box and I had waited until I got back from vacation. No recourse at all from anyone. Ridiculous and complete lack of taking care of customer.

Wonderful experience! I had been putting off shipping out some items for work until the last minute. Avoid this place! If I could leave no stars I would. I took a package to the store on Saturday, June 30 at 10:40 AM. The label was marked Overnight First Delivery. I mentioned to the man that it contained settlement papers and had to be there by noon on Monday. He said No problem. It will be there. Got a call from the lawyers office at 3 PM on Monday that the package had not arrived. I called the store and the female who answered the phone said the package was still there and maybe FedEx didnt stop on Saturday. I called FedEx and they NEVER pick up from that location on Saturdays. I assume I was dealing with the owner because he said he would not be open on Saturdays in July and August so he certainly should have known that the package would not be picked up.

I love this place. I recently found out about them while searching for a uhaul pick up location and when I picked up my uhaul the staff was GREAT. I checked in and out in less than 15 mins. They even let me get my bedroom furniture delivered there because I was unable to take off on my delivery date. Highly recommended!!

My experience with this store was so amazing!I had to figure out how to get a large desk home with me following my holiday trip home. I got the flu & was bedridden, leaving my parents stressed over how the sentimental desk my gramps handmade for me would ever get into my home. The only thing I could do was go online & look for someone who could ship it to my local Pak Mail. I felt good enough to fly home when my trip ended, but never got to the desk. I had no idea Walt would give me the best customer service of my life, & take care of the situation for me as if he were a brother.Walt called me soon after & we discussed my unusual predicament (ship a delicate & large desk out of state without any help from my elderly parents. I didnt think this possible, and if it were, itd be out of my price range. I tried describing the desk and its delicate situation, but wasnt very helpful. Walt told me not to worry - hed drive to my parents to get the desk to his store for measurements (get good measurements & the best esimate that way) I was skeptical - my parents live in the BOONIES & the desk was in a barn. With the desk in his shop, Id be at his mercy. Walt assured me that if I didnt like the estimate hed return the desk to my folks without any charge. Sounds too good to be true, but both my mom & Walt texted me minutes later with confirmation of his pickup. In the end, Walt had the desk delicately packed & shipped to me for half what I expected.Walt took my awful mess of a predicament into his own hands and literally did what I imagine older brothers should do when in need. Walt communicated with my parents to coordinate a pick up time at their residence, and took a truck up their God-awful driveway to remove the desk from their back barn. Walt didnt let my parents do anything but watch as he removed the requested item, and then prepared an estimate based on precise measurements from his business. If I hadnt accepted the estimate, Walt wouldve been completely out all his time, sweat, and gas on this transaction! Walt confirmed my shipping information and personally emailed the trucking info to me for ease of mind. Within a week I had the desk gramps made for me in my west coast home.Im stunned thinking of everything Walt did for me. Instead of exploiting my situation for pecuniary gain, Walt empathized and showed unexpected compassion to me. He made sure I was totally sure of every aspect along the way, too, and called, texted, and emailed along the way.No words can convey everything Walt did for me in this one transaction. If you have any shipping needs and are considering Walts Pak Mail - I beg you to seriously consider sealing the deal and using his services. My item was not a typical package and there was nothing routine with getting it shipped - but Walt held my hand and walked me through the entire process. Let me tell you about the OUTSTANDING experience I had with Walt Poole at PAKMAIL. I had come to the area to help clean out my mothers home after her passing. And of course was immediately stuck with trying to figure out out to get all this stuff back to the West Coast. Some items needed to be crated, others required careful packing due to their fragility and then shipped. So i googled around and found PAKMAIL. I spoke w Walt on the phone several times to make arrangements for the packing. Walt was more than happy to help me and quote various prices and options to get these sentimental family items back to my home. I under estimated how long it would take for me to go through my mothers things and I was running very tight on time to get items to PAKMAIL and make my flight home. Without hesitation, Walt gave me his private cell phone number AND offered to meet me at his store, after he closed Saturday afternoon, to help me unload the rental car!! I told Walt, that I was in no hurry to get these packages, and to take his time. And yet, within 2 weeks, I have a crate at my front door with all my family memories. I cant tell you how happy I was to unpack all the boxes and NOT ONE THING was broken or missing. What a 100% POSITIVE experience.
