I applied almost a year ago... still no employment. My resume is filled with nothing but warehouse/general labor, and forklift work. More then 6 years experience. I applied for those jobs with the description that fits my experience. The lady from all locations say I wasn’t qualified enough and they had to go with someone else. Also... when I would call for a certain position (which I know I’m qualified for) and ask for a certain someone bc that’s what the website says to do. They just hit me with that they’re not around and give me the run arounds. I would not recommend this place.I also did everything they asked me to do, without a problem. I’m very disappointed.

First staffing agency I applied to. Very professional place, kind and knowledgeable about their services. My agent was Dana, but all the agents there do a great job of getting you a job out there with companies. I went to many interviews until someone hired me. I did the 90 day contract and now I have a career job. Thx Meador staffing!

Meador Staffing has been a great help to me. I was at the same company for 18 years . My family and I relocated and my drive was 2 hours both ways to my job.. I submitted my resume and was contacted within a few days. Aly Rojas was able to match me with an employer almost immediately. I was interviewed on a Friday and start on Monday. NEVER AGAIN!!!! That was the most unprofessional agency I went too! A COMPLETE WASTE OF MY TIME! From the moment I walked in it was do you have your two ID and did you complete your application? Then after I did I was told I needed to take an assessment? I was never told by the recruiter that I needed to take an assessment and for a temp job? I can understand if it was permanent position or internal hire role but REALLY??? I dont what I am more upset about the fact that this agency wasted my time or that I drove all the way from Sugarland, TX to this place! If youre a candidate seeking employment STAY CLEAR of this place it is not worth it. I didnt even bother to finish the assessment it was that bad. My advice treat your candidates like you would your most valued customer because that was pitiful customer service!

I am currently working my 3rd assignment with Meador Staffing. I have nothing but positive things to say. It is a pleasure to work for people who are nice and courteous and always ready to answer any questions. I would recommend to anyone to go through Meador for temporary assignments.

Make sure you do your own background check before you step foot in this place. They tell you to disclose all your criminal convictions if you forget one then they will disqualify you from ever working for them which is a policy that makes no sense in the first place. If they’re going to do a background check that’s all that should matter. If you fail To meet their requirements then you shouldn’t get the job. I don’t think that anyone wants to remember the worst days of their lives and mistakes that they made that they’re trying to work so hard to get over. The owner of this place or whoever came up with this policy must be some sort of insensitive type of person. Not everybody remembers the exact date of their convictions mine are 15 years old and I am permanently disqualified from working for them. The more they grow the more they will hold these policies that make no sense over peoples heads. I was not trying to hide anything nor have I been disqualified from other employment. You would think that they would say oh you forgot one. No they tell you that you were no longer welcome in this place and are not fit to do the job we have. I will never work for a place that has such policies in place that discriminate against people that have tried to change their lives for the better.

When I left retail I had no idea what I was going to do. I did have some great experience, but I needed to move to a 8-5 job. I was referred to Meador by a friend, and man did they take care of me. If somebody had told me a year and a half ago that I would be working in the Oil and Gas industry I would have laughed. I got a great opportunity, and am now a permanent employee of a company Meador contracted me to. The staff at Meador was always so very kind, and walked me through every step of the way. I have nothing but amazing things to say about them. If you are even thinking about a change, go through Meador. They are absolutely perfect!!

I am a chemical engineer that has interviewed at Meador Staffing on two separate occasions and was told that I was a good fit for several of the positions. I have called back left messages and still no one has returned my calls. I always seem to get the same excuse that the person that is handling those jobs are not in. It has been over a month now and still no call after being told that I have the right credentials for several jobs.

You can have all the right credentials and it wouldnt be until you find something on their site where you have to notify them. And when you notify them or the contact person for the job req they are always in a meeting or interviewing someone right now. Truly one of the worst staffing agencies out there, other staffing agencies are easier and less complicated than this one (and that goes for their other locations as well). This staffing agency really is only willing to help those who are just starting out and willing to take ANY pay instead of what they are actually valued. Mind you, the company that hires Meador is paying them for their services and then Meador pays you... and often times youll find that Meador is getting paid more than you when the hiring company is paying for basically two people. Definitely know what to ask.

I applied for the position and received a call within two days from the recruiter Angela. Shes awesome and very personable with ensuring that the position was what I was looking for. She submitted my resume and I was called to schedule an interview. I received the offer as a contract to hire position, which was okay. Throughout my contract Angela would check to see how everything was going and even sent a gift over during the holidays. Very quick and easy process working meador. I was recently offered my position permanently so Im very grateful to have worked for this agency. Definitely recommend.

I assumed from the great reviews I would get a job within 2 weeks but I was employed with them for 3 months and got a call from 1 job. The job was not to my liking and I gave them a notice that I would be willing to work there in till I received another job but apparently you are suppost to give them a 5 days notice and quit before receiving another one. If you are getting unemployment they will tell them lies to basically make sure you dont keep receiving and claim they wont work with you. After finding my own jobs 3 weeks later I get a e-mail claiming they still want me to go to a job interview even though they told unemployment they would no longer work with me. IF YOURE GETTING UNEMPLOYMENT STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY DONT CARE IF YOU CANT PAY YOUR BILLS.

Their recruiter, Toni never called me back. I left two messages and its been two weeks!! If youre going to make people go through filling out your paperwork at least give them a call and tell them what the status of the application is!!!! Not a professional company.

This place is trash. It’s been months since I went in, filled out the paper work, took the test, and met with an advisor. I have not received one single call. I called a few weeks after and got sent to voicemail, left a message but never heard back. The only thing they do is send me stupid emails with ONE DAY servant jobs that require you to BUY a uniform. I need stability and I told the advisor this. Nobody is out here looking for a one day job.

Only given one job, and it took them over a month to offer me a job. Ive never had this bad of service at a staffing place ever. Doubt waist your time.

My little sister applied here awhile back. The office setting is nicely designed and laid out. But the people behind the desks think their at the top of the world when I accompanied my sister they asked why I was here in a rude manner. They think theyre overrated and above & beyond. Mind you i already have a job in the medical field as a cardiovascular perfusionist. And damn near busted my ass of in mes school and university to get where Im at now. They looked me up and down rudely. Many customers walked in ad out and they would tell them all the same thing we arent hiring rn when in fact the website was placed with tons of jobs opened. One guy walked in suit &tie resume in hand, with a associates in project management the front desk gal felt envy when he mentioned he had an associates the ladies all came out quick and told him they werent hiring in a rude and disrespectful manner. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISAPPOINTED & DISRESPECTED!! take your qualifications and skills elsewhere, theres tons of staffing agencies in Houston.

I recently sent an email to Daena inquiring about a job she had posted. She promptly got back to me and we scheduled a time to meet in person. The process was seamless as I had received all paperwork to fill out prior to my meeting so once I arrived I didnt have to spend extra time doing all of that. Daena has a very welcoming personality (as did the receptionist) and took the time to really listen to what I had to say in order to get a clear picture of my background and the type of position for which Im looking. I had an overall positive experience and would definitely recommend them!

I think their availability line is a joke that you waste your time calling into but no one really listens to it. It’s hard to get anyone on the phone or to call you back. You can send emails and leave voice messages but it’s rare to be contacted. I applied with Meador in August 2015 but didn’t get my first assignment with them until February 2016. I went on 3 temp assignments that lasted between 2-6 weeks each and the pay was around $12-$13 an hour. You get paid weekly on Thursdays. On 2 occasions my assignment ENDED but I was never notified so I would get dressed and go to work just to find out that the assignment was over and Meador was supposed to let me know…but failed to do so.

Not 100% accurate with helping job seekers find a job. All local meador staffing agencys just take your information and never do seem to put much effort in finding folks job. Even with theyre Availability hotline Ive never been contacted back for a follow up or details regarding job positions. Ive called several times at meador offices early in the morning and the front desk secretary and or staff are always making excuses that they on their way to meetings and or make an excuse to keep the conversation short. Several times Ive been told we will call you right back for further details and as of today Ive have NOT received any information whatsoever. I believe this place wastes peoples time and effort trying to get a job at all cost. I feel like they just collect as many candidates as they can to use us all for there job market seekers statistics. No pun intended just expressing a bit of my freedom of speech. Thanks

So I applied there around beginning of August and the reason you go to places like this is for them to find you a job fast,we are in Oct and I still havent got a job,I call everyday for availability but nothing,probably the worst agancy ever. I would of rated no star if I could.

Meador is dishonest and incompetent.1) Meador completely failed to understand my business needs. Meador provided unqualified candidates. When candidates failed, Meador made excuses and blamed me, the client.2) Meador made inefficient use of my time. I received regular calls from 3 staff members with no clearly defined roles.3) Used car salesman is a stereotype that fits Meadors sketchy business dealings. Meador called my office from a blocked number to deliver bad news. Meador altered timesheets after theyd been completed and signed. Meador staff continued to make unscheduled office visits after being asked to respect workflow.Meador made a significant negative impact on my small business. Please proceed with caution.

Don’t waste your time with these people

All they care about are the clients not the employees. Unfortunately my son got sick so I had to call in, I took him to his doctors office and returned home and he got worse so I ended up taking him to the ER. Obviously I was there all day long. Once I got out I checked my messages and Holly left a voicemail stating that I was terminated. They didnt even give me a chance to call them back to explain what was going on. I do not want to work for this type of agency.

Horrible agency. I was terminated for being unable to lift a very heavy object due to pregnancy. Recruiter screamed and told me it was my fault for not telling her I was pregnant. Is this even legal? I got disqualified from ever applying there again.
