I am writing this review exclusively to thank branch manager NICK CONTES!Wow my experience with AppleOne has been so wonderful. Honestly, I didnt think that temp agencies were real. My only reference to a temp agency is The Office (Ryan started the FIRE!) But one of my friends referred me to them and it was probably one of the best decisions Ive made in my career.First, the level of care and efficiency in which Nick works is AMAZING! I met with him for a little less than an hour and within that time frame we talked about my needs, ideal workplace, pay, he reviewed my resume AND he sent my resume to 4 companies. Then the following day I had two phone interviews and by the third day someone was offering me a job.Now I am not saying that you will find a job within three days. However, my recommendations are: be nice (treat Nick with respect and he will reciprocate), check your emails, go to the interviews on time and if he requests that you make changes to your resume do it ASAP!Second, he is a very honest person. Ask the questions that you have! Dont be afraid. He is willing to help and work with you. I asked Nick SO many questions and he was never annoyed. Instead he would say, I am glad you are asking these questions I wish more people would.Third, he is one step ahead of you! Every request I had in mind he discussed it with me before I even mentioned it. He was able to negotiate my salary so it was closer to what I had requested. For someone that has a hard time asking for a pay raise I felt so relieved that I had someone on my side helping me make those tough requests. So the pros to working with a temp agency are the connections. Your resume will actually be seen by employers. AND you will have someone rooting for you during the interview and application process. With that being said he did explain that Temp agencies are not non profits. So make sure that you do your research and be direct and ask questions.Good luck to everyone! And thank you Nick for everything!!!
It’s a win win company their there to give you the work experience and they’re else learning from YOUr again and again YOUr work experience. Sandra Lopez is actually really nice and her team will try to place you in an assignment that will kind of best fits your skills etc... they need lots of improvement on how to take care and train professionalemployees
All i can really say about this agency see is WOW!!! From the very beginning everyone in that office was beyond professional. Whether it was Glee or Mona answering the phones with a great big smile that you can hear through the phone. My experience was with Nick from the get go. I had my interview with Nick and him ad I hit it off right away. He asked so many questions in detail to try and pin point what would be the perfecting solution for your job search. He was very good at calling me back if he wasnt in the office and I had questions, or if the work load was too busy, I would still get an email by the end of the day.I was then introduced to Oscar after I finished my interview. Oscar went way over and beyond to help me get the job and the call back i received today. Oscar helped me nail the first job interview and get a job on the first interview. Oscar really kept rooting for me and communicated with me every step of the way. Thank Oscar for everything. Thank you Nick, Mona and Glee for everything as well. I highly recommend AppleOne to anyone looking to start their career.
They a found me a great job that I love. I’ve now been with the company 5 months and I’ve converted to a full time employee with the company
I consistently get work from different representatives out of this office for over 6 years. When I connect with a new rep and am seeking work I dont sit around for them to call me. I check in weekly and when I am placed I go above and beyond. I am placed in positions making $20+/hr and that is right along the lines of what I make when I get full time employment on my own. Not to mention the interviews I am sent on. If you knew better youd do better. Have a super grand day!!!
Apple One has slightly challenging but doable testing. But more importantly their staff is honest and very kind and helpful which is great when youre in search of work. Its like they know what youre going through and want to HELP; not make it worse. Apple One is the best chain of employment agencies in the country hands down and my fiancée feels the same.
Let me start this off as ..... I had my reservations about going through this agency.Reason being is because I had attempted to work with them through an office in Tempe Arizona when I was living there. The response I got from that office was very nonchalant and very cold. Got the typical run around as most agencies do.So when I found myself here in California and I seen at this agency had availability I decided of course after a few months of waiting to give them a try, Because afterall not offices are the same. Now I went in with great hesitation and made it clear that I dont wanted waste my time or theres, explained what my hesitation was and continued with my interview. My recruiter was my and became my front line contact on everything. Even though I was placed with another Apple One recruiter. If after reading this and choosing to go through Apple One, I hope you get Sandra Lopez. I highly recommend her, she does her very best to get you placed and she understands when you have a particular situation going on that will hinder you from accepting most opportunities that an agency has to offer. My only regret at this time is that I was not able to bring her along with me when I was offered an opportunity out of state. Now that I am job hunting again, I chose to go back through Apple One & needless to say, I am feeling the coldness again with this new office. So remember if you chose this employment agency, I hope you too get Sandra.
The first problem started at the begining, when she wanted to change my appointment so she could attend an office party...when she knew that was the only day I could go in. After my appointment and getting all my paperwork in, I didnt hear from her for over a month. I sent an email to follow up. After a week...no response. I called and one of the executives answered. She apologize and said she would also assist in finding me employment. And again....a month later, no word from them. I found a great job on my own. My entire AppleOne experience was a waste of time.
The most professional agency Ive ever been represented by.
Appleone is awsome! Sandra has been my contact and she is realy kind and she is real attentive. She is always calling me with job opportunities, she has gotten me two interview in the past two weeks. Landed one so far to work at a Dr.s office. She realy liked my work ethics and wanted to help me out. She even offered one of my contacts a chance to find work if she ever needed it. It seems as if they get alot of clients that are looking for hard working individules, and if you are one of them I am sure they can help you, like they are helping me. I would definitely continue coming back to this temp agency for more work. It makes finding work alot easier.
Quality is POOR.A couple years ago I too interviewed with Wendy Nelson at the Pasadena Apple One office and just like the previous reviewer here she gave this speech about how good my resume is and my test scores are high and so they should have no problem finding work for me so I thanked her and left the office....and never heard from her again. I called and left voicemails checking for openings an she didnt return my calls. I emailed...she didnt respond. Eventually I called the manager and requested a change of Rep. They seemed offended...but I got assigned another one. That person promptly went and ignored me too.I had similar experiences at the Burbank Apple One as well. At that office I was requested to come in for a specific position...but when i got there...I was told that the position was not actually available. Both offices wasted my time. Whats also a waste of time is that each office will make you fill out all the paper work and test again even though you just did it for the other office.Ive come to the conclusion that their general purpose is to get you in and signed up just so they can show the company that theyre working...and thus get paid. Maybe not the commission they get for actually getting a person a job...thus..the more the merrier. If I sound like a disgruntled worker whos just complaining because he didnt get a job when in actuality his attitude, resume and low test scores are the culprit...Im not. My personality and attitude have never been an issue, my resume is strong for any clerical position and my test score were then and are now in the 90s.Its just that no agency has frustrated me like they did.You go in seeking help, they take up your time...give you false hopes...and then turn their backs on you.I imagine that if youre looking for a job and you come in contact with either of these offices, youre gonna talk to them anyways.......But dont say you werent warned.
I was 2 day ago in this office at Glendale the representative is very gross. She doesnt really take the time or effort to listen my background. She just gave me slapping a smile on my face. to say Sorry. beacuse the only give job in office. but I have 3 university degree.
Some how they managed to! Very rude... I would hate to have to rely on these guys for employment...
Apparently, they can only help you out of youve had at least a year of experience working in the field.Wouldnt recommend this place for people who searching for their first job.
