These people are amazing! From the front desk girl to the Dentist to the Dental Hygienist. Dr Reuth is great! He Is very thorough and so so honest. Esmerelda’s was VERY VERY thorough from beginning to end and I absolutely love how she cleaned my teeth. Been to my hygienist but no one like her. I highly recommend this place. Do NOT come here! First I was on hold for over 6 mins just to ask if they took my insurance. When the lady finally came to the phone, she wasnt even paying attention to what I was asking. I had to repeat myself several times to her because she was too busy laughing. So then when, they wasted my time. Waited over 2 hours for nothing. All they want is to get the money they loss during COVID which is sad. they refused to do the routine work. They want the most when it is not necessary at this time. It was the first visit! Bad impression.

I’m a teacher. I wanted to improve my smile. My teeth were fine, but I had a slight overbite and had mentioned I might like to improve my smile. The Office Mgr began to convince me they could create a beautiful smile for me with six upper porcelain crowns. My teeth were straight and white, but the mgr insisted they could make my smile much much better so I finally agreed. Now I have horrible upper buck teeth. My resting face looks like a turtle. My nose is shifting because I’ve of the two front teeth sticks out farther than the other one and it’s pushing on my nose which is causing me to develop sleep apnea. The dentist won’t replace the crowns unless I pay for the work. I don’t have more money for this. They ruined my teeth!!!

I went to a dental office on Center St. In Deer Park that starts with a J and ends with son dental and they were sneaky and beating around bush or sidestepping my question on a round about for the two crowns and two broken teeth from being hit by truck on skateboard and chipped two front and my mouth still hurt now and finally found funds to pay for Southern Dentals reasonable and excellent bid offer technic or just the honest and up front and the discount was great almost half off the nine thousand dollars damage to my mouth but needless to say but Imma say it anyway j----dental really disappointed and I say screwed me and should give me back my exray and exam money but Im just glad that I went to this guy. Southern Dentals staff and the dentist I was with was very, how you say,, he made me comfortable and made my procedure sound like just what I needed and wanted EXACTLY TO HEAR....

I love going here. Ive had bad experiences at other places and southern dental always makes sure Im comfortable. Miss Candy who runs the front desk was SUPER helpful. Shes very knowledgeable and polite. Dr. Reuth was also very nice and helpful.

Do NOT go here. I am a Counselor and since I talk for a living I thought my smile could be improved a little. The Office Msnager ended up persuading me to have six porcelain crowns installed on my front upper teeth. I paid out of pocket. My own teeth were fine, but this employee convinced me what an improvement they could do, so I took the jump believing my smile would be even better. Cutting to the end of the story, the six upper crowns cause my teeth to be buck and I have to hide my smile when I laugh. I look ridiculous. It’s embarrassing. I had a family tragedy occur at the Dane time as I got the crowns snd I waited to go back to the dentist fir corrections. When I did go back Southern Dental wanted me to pay again for new crowns. Horrible and unfair practice. Stacy Elliston.

I just want to share that it felt very wrong and unprofessional to walk out of here with my $400 mouth guard in a ziplock bag 😒 and the lady named Norma there told me “you can just get one at the dollar store” well yeah I can do that but 🤦‍♀️

First time coming here cause it was on my insurance. The hygienist said we might not get to your cleaning today (the reason I was there). I thought she was joking at first, but she wasn’t. I’ve always gotten praise from dentists for taking such great care of my teeth, but she said I had bone loss and inflamed gums. Then she told me I needed irrigation cleaning which is $65 for the top and $65 for the bottom plus fluoride for $20... I’m feeling unsure but also thinking they’re about to reschedule me so I do it. They just squirt a little medicine in your mouth and then do the regular cleaning. I feel ripped off. The routine cleaning was $5 on my insurance and I wish that’s all I did.

As soon as we walked in I knew it was going to be bad. There were at least 8 dead roaches just lying on the floor in the lobby area. The lady working the front desk was friendly but clearly terrible at her job and very slow. We then sat in a room waiting to be seen for 40 minutes after our scheduled appointment. Unacceptable. The orthodontist herself was very nice but a little hard to understand because of her accent. And when she was done we waited and waited and waited again for the lady at the front desk to bring our estimate. Not going back.

The doctors and staff are great here! I love the ladies at the front desk. They are incredibly friendly and professional. When I came for my cleaning I asked a lot of questions that I had been having recently and got all my answers and then some which I loved. Recently I just had three fillings and everyone made sure I was comfortable and the procedure went smoothly and quickly and I’m feeling great. I’ve been to many dental offices in the past and left in pain and unanswered questions, but here I always leave feeling good.

I like the office and the willingness to work with me on my dental needs. The staff is great and Priscilla helped me with my prices and get what I needed done. Going to send my friends and family here.

I have been using Southern Dental Pasadena for over 10 years and I have nothing but GREAT things to say about them. They are professional, friendly and reasonably priced. They take the time to explain all of the pros and cons of every treatment plan. I am always greeted by smiling faces who are happy to see me. It is nice to have a dental office that has become more like family! Thank you, Southern Dental and Dr. Lewis!!

Horrible experience. I let the doc talk me into something I didnt want to begin with and paid for it dearly. I ended up getting two more phone consults from other dentists both told me not to return to southern dental. Eventually pain and infection drove me to go to another dentist (Katy walk in clinic excellent experience 284 reviews all 5 stars).I gave these guys (southern dental) three chances to get it right because I work with the public and understand stuff happens. I notified my insurance company that I will protesting any claim they file and will do anything I can to get them to drop them out of network.Its unfortunate the girls up front arent the dentists because they were great.

The staff here is amazing. Had such a wonderful experience here and that was mostly due to the staff!

So it all began with the clinic. they change hygienist and Dr like day and night. My wife had a tooth pulled by one of the female Drs and had a horrible experience. Myself on the other hand have had ok experience not great by no means but I will for sure start looking for someone else to take care of my family.

I had an appointment at 2pm and all they have done was take the xrays and the dentist looked at my teeth. They have done nothing. Its almost 4pm and the only reason why I was told that I wasnt going to get my teeth cleaned today was because I asked when they were going to take care of me. So now I have to wait and see if the dentist can do my cleaning (which is not a guarantee) this place is the worst. The first time I came I had problems too and I was kind enough to give them a second chance but they completely failed at everything. Im still sitting here and all they can tell me is they cant give me a time of when the dentist is going to do my cleaning.

The office took great care of both of my daughters (ages 8 & 9). They typically need to be sedated when dental work is done however they did great with Dr Suhail. My oldest even needed an extraction. I will definitely bring them back for their routine checkups. They worked with my insurance (Aetna) and my out of pocket was minimal. The front staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this office!

My Friday appointment was cancelled and re-scheduled for Saturday at 11:30. I arrived at 11:15 it is now 12:30 Still waiting.May use this time to find another Dentist.

Spent 3 hours there ... very informed and staff was very nice. Services are more expensive than other places I looked into.

I have nothing but good things to say about the staff at this location and Dr. Fournier. Ive had a few cleanings here - always a good experience - and have had a couple of procedures done by Dr. Fournier. I am 53 years old, and from a very young age Ive had to have caps, surgery to remove 9 teeth, braces, 2 crowns, several fillings and sealants. Im difficult to numb, and dont stay numb for very long. Believe me when I say I have much experience at dentist offices, much of it not very pleasant at all. The first time I saw Dr. Fournier I told him of the problems I have. He was very compassionate and took the time to talk with me about it and made sure that everything went as painlessly as possible. Throughout the procedures he would check with me to make sure I was okay. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Fournier.

Please bring back the previous hygienist. She was honest, thorough and had excellent bed side manners

First, i was told on phone and read on their website that a consultation was only 45 follars, but once you get their you have to pay 99 dollars and they want you to pay before even being called to the back. Now i know why because NO ONE would pay for the service i was rendered after the way i was treated. Second, i had a burn on my thumb that was almost completely healed,, so as i sat their waiting to be seen, the dentist walks in and starts asking me questions(NOTHING about teeth) insinuating i have HIV/AIDS!! REALLY?? Im a slim gay man that has weighed 135 ALL my life through school days and even now, so he maybe assumed ALL GAYS have HIV which is so NOT TRUE and wrong to ask anyone questions insinuating that especially when i fillled out my health questions on their questionnaire! This place is a scam and the Dentist needs to learn manners!!! He IS NOT A PHYSICIAN, He needs to worry about teeth!!!He asked me what was up with that Lesion on my thumb, which was a healing burn from cooking on Thanksgiving!! Then he asked about a cut on my neck by shaving, asking about a LESION on my neck!! Then asked if i was sick because i was breathing hard. He has NO right asking me questions insuating i have ANY disease. He is a dentist not a medical Doctor!!! I have never felt so ridiculed in ALL my life!! Then after i told him i wanted to pull three teeth instead of his recommending root canals, he then told me he would have to send me somewhere else cause he didnt want to pull them. REALLY?? I guess he was afraid he would catch aids from me which i dont even have!! The staff was very unfriendly and i honestly feel like they are scamming people. There were two people in the front office complaining about dentist and prices as i was walking out. I will report this dentist and office to the appropriate people! I have contacted the media to shine a light on the scam and this so called dentist harrassing and berated patients!! I highly recommend NOT going here unless u want to be scammed or berated!!!

This southern dental pulled my wifes upper left moller in pieces and cut, dug to get the rest of it out,then sent her home saying that you dont need any pain medcation, and telling her, oh youll be fine,and upon getting home her, clot fell out,then had to return and then they gave her stitches,and all this under alot of pain, still refusing to give her any pain medication, on top all this one day before going on vacation. And now theres more problems sinus pain and headaches.

Not coming back very poor patient education, during treatment and the doctors bed side manner is very poor.. Just go somewhere else..
