I recently changed insurance and my prior dentist was not in my PPO. I had to have a tooth extraction done immediately. Their office staff is wonderful and fit me in Dr. Seans schedule. Dr. Sean is extremely talented and this was the least painful tooth extraction I ever had. His entire staff is friendly and helpful. He is now my Dentist. Best dental experience I have ever had!I highly recommend their office.

I’ve been coming to this dentist office for most of my teen years. About a year and a half ago Dr Sean took over the office and it’s been a joy having him work on my teeth. I went through Invisalign with him and he has made the process so easy to follow through. Dr Sean is a lifetime student always seeking to learn more about modern dentistry to provide the best experiences for his clients. Dr Sean is also a joy to talk to making the experience feel very light hearted and quick.

I prefer not to write negative reviews unless I feel something must be said. I am writing truthfully and honestly. This doctor is unethical, rude (made snide remarks), and condescending. Hes dishonest with his recommendations (arent many of them just to grab money).He plays nice but is a shark just like the rest. He started talking about my insurance and what could be done BEFORE he examined my teeth. I guess he didnt like my insurance so he felt he could disregard me.Youre in a service industry. If you dont value people and your patients, choose something else! FIND AN HONEST ETHICAL DENTIST. LOOK FURTHER. THE 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE FAKE!

Im really impressed with Cal Dental, Dr. Sean, and the staff here. I came in as a new patient after a loooong stint of no dental visits. The facility was immaculate, there was zero wait, and the reception staff were super friendly, kind, and helpful. X-rays were needed and done efficiently and comfortably by the wonderful assistants (sorry I forgot your names!). Dr. Sean performed my dental work smoothly, painlessly (hard to do when youre extracting two wisdom teeth), and explained everything so clearly and concisely. Ive never been one to fear the dentist but its never been a very pleasant experience. This was enjoyable through and through. Im a patient for life. Thanks yall!

After many years of not having been to the dentist I was pretty scared of what I had coming my way, but I was thoroughly impressed. My old dentist always made me feel like the appointment was simply transactional but Dr. Sunyoto and his team do a great job of explaining what is going on and making sure youre comfortable.Also, I decided to go here because the pictures show a really clean workspace but it was clear that the cleanliness wasnt just for the pictures. The place was super clean and inviting! Im glad I made the right choice. Would definitely recommend, if youre reading this.

The doctor was very supportive in understanding my problem and his input to eliminate the issue was explained to me so I could easily understand what needed to be done. The staff was very courteous and the atmosphere very pleasant.

I was fortunate to have found this dental office during an emergency situation where my former dentist left my root canal open without cleaning it up after the cap fell. I was in severe pain and could not even swallow water because of the severe infection that also affected my throat and tongue. Dr sean and staff worked beyond their closing time to help me. They did such a great job that i should say it was just like night and day that night. I could not find a better, nice and efficient dentist and staff.

Went in nervous to get my wisdom tooth pulled. Dr. Shawn and staff made me feel very comfortable. Procedure was done with not much side effect with the exception of mild swelling on the side cheek where the tooth was removed. This place is the best!

I was in a severe pain and decided to give a try and called Cal Dental Group of Pasadena. They took me in immediately and not just took x-rays and gave me pain medicine but treated my tooth immediately. They explained everything during the process and I knew exactly what to expect. I spent about an hour in the clinic and was free from the pain. Highly recommend this clinic, they are taking good care of their patients!

During these times it is nice to know that Cal dental has taken such care with cleaning everything purifying the air and spreading out appointments so that no more than one or two patients are ever there at one time my experience this morning was comfortable. Cal dental also has the latest equipment which shortened my time with the dentist. I would highly recommend going to Cal dental.

Amazing dentist! Went in because of a mountain bike accident, multiple dislodged, loose, and sore teeth. Wired my damaged teeth together and filled some cavities in an amazingly short amount of time. Despite my teeth being ultra sensitive the Dr. and his staff did an amazing job of not banging them around!It was a near painless experience considering the work done!Go back in a month to get the braces removed, I’ll see how well they mended. Fingers crossed.

For the longest time I was scared of dentist. I had a good dentist growing up but never met a Dr. as good as Dr. S. I had about 12 or 14 cavities, 1 root canal, and 2 crowns. Sounds scary right. Not with Dr. S and his assistant Andy they are so comforting and genuine they chip away at your anxiety and make you feel so comfortable. I truly feel that they all care about my well being and every procedure was a breeze with no surprises. Dr. S hands are very gentle carefully paying attention to any sign of discomfort. They remember my name, ask about my son, and remember details about my life. This is a family you want to be part of. For once I look forward to seeing my dentist. Clean, reliable, genuine, and there to assist you. Highly recommend.

I couldnt be more glad to have found this place to deal with my teeth. My teeth have multiple issues: gum disease, implant, sensitivity, you name it. Dr Sean was very patient through all these processes. He explained everything clearly and took time to answer my questions. He was also flexible so I could get appointments in time to deal with the gum inflammation and pain from implant. Everyone there was helpful and courteous: Debbie, Margaret, Amanda and Andy. I havent been to the dentist in a couple years and decided to find a new dentist. Dr. Sean is an energetic friendly dentist who answered all my questions and made me feel motivated to keep up my cleanings! I was insecure about my mouth since its been awhile since my last cleaning but I was put at ease by Dr. Sean. His practice stays up to date with a panoramic xray that was a huge improvement over my last experience where I had to sit through 20+ small xray pictures. He told me he is also getting a new 3D CBCT soon to add to his implant procedures. Overall I am very happy with my new dentist and you should consider this practice if youre looking for dental care!
