Ive been meaning to take my late 70s 911 to Jack for a while, because, while I was mostly satisfied with my current shop, they dont work on nearly as many air-cooled Porsches as Scientific does. Plus, Id met Jack several times at local PCA events, liking him as a person as well as an advocate for our Porsche community.The whole experience Scientific couldnt have been better—from the initial phone call to the in-person consultation to the walk-though on the lift to the service recommendations to the follow-up to the fair pricing to even a couple of freebies. He performed a 15K service, replaced the front brakes and front rotors and brake lines, did a valve adjustment and a couple of other things.Jack and his team not only take pride in their work, but in helping their customers get a more complete understanding of their car. One doesnt really look forward to taking their car to the shop, but Im kind of looking forward to my next visit...

Scientific Automotive is awesome!I have been having my 2006 Porsche 911 serviced here for the last couple of years and have been very satisfied. Jack and his team have done great work keeping my Pearl running like a dream!Most recently, they replaced her clutch, doing a stellar and timely job. While my baby was opened up, Jack reached out to me (he is super at timely communication) to let me know that they noticed a couple of things that would eventually need to be addressed, and would later require another similarly invasive surgery.It was clear that Jack was protecting me from a later large repair by adding a small amount to the current work order.Scientific Automotive is great and Jack is the best!

I have been a customer of scientific Automotive since 1978 and met Jack when he was being trained by Roger Burch. I was impressed when I met Jack and watched him grow into a professional Porsche mechanic. I have continued taking my 1970 911 S Targa to scientific and have always been provided with the best and cost effective service. Jack is very thorough and will not let my car leave without his test ride and approval. I highly recommend Scientific to anyone. PS my wife does not trust any mechanics except Jack.

Jack and company are a top notch, honest bunch of Porsche enthusiasts and mechanics. They gave me the real deal on a used Porsche that I bought, and I truly appreciate the thoroughness and effort that they gave me. They gave me a full run down of my car, with all its faults, and didnt even charge me for it. They were also nice enough to take it across the street to the body shop for an estimate so that I could get my car fixed right. I could not recommend these guys enough. I will surely be taking my car there in the future for all my Porsche needs.

Got a new-to-me 991 recently and was looking for an independent shop in which to establish a long-term relationship with. These guys were helpful in explaining the maintenance intervals to me since Im new to the brand. I did an oil service with them and as far as I can tell, all is good. I expect to be back for the next round of routine maintenance.

Jack saved me probably $1,000 with a well done pre purchase inspection of a 2006 Porsche. I went back to the dealer and them do the work. Worth every penny of the money I paid Jack to have the inspection!

A good friend and fellow Porsche owner was telling me about Jack for years but I had a great mechanic in West LA. I finally took his advise a little over a two years ago and took my 991S and Cayenne GTS to him and Ive had a great experience. Jacks a really nice guy, straight forward, fair and hes done a great job with our Porsches. His shop is immaculate and they always deliver the cars on time. Ive had such a great experience Ive referred three good friends to him and they are all really happy with his work.

Had this number on hand to call for an appointment later but accidentally called it while trying to call another business. The male receptionist who picked up was extremely rude in letting me know who I had accidentally called. I only asked for him to repeat the name once and his tone was so icy it was as if I asked for his firstborn. Never recommending this place.

Had my 01 Porsche Boxster in for a LN IMS bearing retrofit, and clutch was just getting down to the rivets.Jack called and let me know the clutch status after pulling the transmission. Very pleased with his communications. Clutch replaced, no labor since transmission was already removed. Took the car in Monday morning and picked it up Tuesday evening. Every component replaced was shown to me. My car runs excellent. RMS, IMS bearing, Clutch, Coolant tank.I read some bad reviews here, but have not encountered nothing but professionalism from Jack and his team. I have recommended several friends and would recommend you call them. They do know their stuff, and do right by you and your car. You will not be disappointed.T
