Whoever is working ntb tire and battery on Fairmont needs a refresher course in customer service. Brought my car in with a flat tire at 5:30 when they close at 6 and was told I could not be helped. So what am I supposed to do just ruin my tire because your employees don’t want to work? Glad it happened will NEVER visit ntb again I’ll give my money to another company anytime I need this type of service and will certainly let my friends know not to visit this location.
THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED BY FAR!!!!I walked in 15 minutes before closing and asked Justin if I could get a quick oil change for my fleet truck he suggested that I would have to schedule an appointment that they were about to close!As I was scheduling my appointment Danny Munoz came to the rescue and called the tech from the back and asked him politely to take care of my truck then as Daniel asked Justin to get my truck info Justin told him to get it himself so here I was thinking that Danny was the store Manager when he was only a sales associate.... Semi-friendly staff!! The only thing I didnt appreciate is the the fact that they lied to me and told me that they would call me to let me know that the tires that they ordered had arrived!! They ended up calling me a week after I had gone somewhere else to get my tires!! NTB you need to make sure your employees know what they are doing instead of letting them be on their phones!! It looks bad for a business and it makes customers not what to come back!!
Great service! I arrived earlier than my appointment and Danny went ahead and took me in sooner and I ended up getting out around the time of my appointment! Shop was surprisingly clean as well I felt comfortable sitting in the waiting room! Go see Danny for all your needs he took the time to explain the work!
After a lengthy time the snafus that occurred were fixed to our satisfaction and made good on the tire purchase over 700.00usd.The Rebate was applied to our satisfaction 😀.

I went in on 01/16/2021 to get a wheel alignment . Paid $100 to get advised that i had a problem with my car that doesnt allow them to align the car properly.That I should fix it and then take it back to get aligned correctly within the 6 month/6000 mile warranty. I took my car to the dealership this morning 02/03/2021all to get told my car is fine. The alignment is as all that was needed. So I paid for an alignment twice within 3 weeks. All due to NTb pasadena not being able to do their job correctly. Will never go to this place againI would demand a refund but the reviews on this place speak for themselves. Dont trust them.

Had a tire puncture on my way to work. Called them to check price and availability to repair. Within 45 minutes I was back on the road. Very friendly and good price.

If I could give zero stars I would. Drive my vehicle 15 miles to this shop. After hearing my quote I decided not to have work done on my brakes. Upon picking my truck back up, there is no brake fluid, and a giant puddle where it has leaked out. The Manager said it was like that when I brought it in. No way I made it 15 miles with no brakes. Never had a drop in my driveway. But now I have my brake light sensor on, no brakes, and I’m waiting for a tow.
I had to jump start my car on a Sunday. NTB was the only place open. I told the guy behind the desk that I had to jump start my car and after I jump started it the check engine light came on. I told him that the car seemed fine after I jump started it. After a diagnosis, the guy tells me that my car is throwing all kinds of codes. I cannot remember all of them, but the AC was throwing a code, there were other electronic/computers inside my car throwing codes. He was saying that something in my car may need to be re-programmed. I said okay lets do it. He says he has to special order the parts I need because the parts are not in the Houston warehouse. He said he would call you tomorrow and let you know when I hear anything about your parts. Well fast forward a day, the guy I originally spoke to was not there. I called at the end of the day and asked about my parts. The guy I spoke with on the phone did not know anything about my car or my parts. So he calls and asks the man I originally spoke with, (he did not tell anyone at the shop what was going on with my car). I called back and the guy that answered the phone said the warehouse has not even contacted anyone about my parts. Okay. I wait till the next day. Pretty much the same thing happens over the phone. I got tired of their BS lack of communication and decided to take my car elsewhere.I took my car to Acosta Mechanic shop in Baytown and they said yeah my car is throwing a lot of codes, but that was because I just needed a new battery. They showed me the codes it was throwing and all the items throwing codes were due to low voltage I got a new battery and the car runs perfectly.I spent a total of 144 at NTB for a diagnosis. I spent 130 at Acosta for a new battery plus installation. Mr. Acosta said They probably just wanted your money I told him heck yeah they tried to rip me off and I was totally gonna let them--Joshua Jimenez

Got my inspection and oil changed by them today. Great experience and good staff. Oil change took a little while but promptly got it done when it was my turn. Even asked if I wanted a new air filter instead of just installing one and charging for it. I do recommend this place.
Nice staff. Unfortunately they didnt have the tires I needed. Drove to Webster store that supposedly had the tires and didnt either. Wasted time.
Excellent service, above and beyond. Long story short - I had a flat. went to the shop because of proximity to my office. Due to some tool availability issues and the nature of my flat, we had to get creative to solve the problem. End of the story, these guys got the tire repaired and I was back on the road. Thanks for the extra help and the creative solutions!!

Told them I was on a business trip and had gotten a flat. I wanted to get the tire patched, if possible because my tires are warrantied back him and I could just swing in and get a new one when I got back. OF COURSE they told me a nail was too close to the sidewall and even if they repaired it, it would leak. They charged me $100 and got me the cheapest tire in my size, and changed it. I looked and looked for this nail in my other tire. There was a nail, but it was in the center, not near a sidewall. I get back home and get to my tire shop and they tell me my tire is definitely repairable. As I figured. I guess they just wanted to rip someone off yesterday morning.

I came in here to get an alignment done, and I have to say one employee in particular Andrew, was just fantastic. He takes great pride in his work and was very determined to make sure I was back on the road safely! 100 % satisfied with the service provided. Will be back next time for sure👍🏽
Went for a alignment, after a hour they call and tell me that I need a extra $500 in parts and labor for parts the have to be replace before a alignment can be done. Only thing is I replace those parts myself 6 months earlier so I know for a fact they are good. I took my car somewhere else for a alignment and was taken care of no problem, ntb are scam artist so don’t waste your time.

This place is awful. They will loosen or unplug spark plug coils to get business. Left here. Brought it to a trusted shop, they reconnected it, all was well again. Also put the wrong used tire on instead of a new tire. So frustrating.STAY AWAY from This place.Brought it to Axle and Wheel Aligning Company for my suspension and alignment. Fantastic work at a fair price.

Been here an hour and truck hasnt been moved from the parking space yet. Only need an oil change. And they arent that busy. No one has even communicated on what the delay is. They either need more help here or better management that knows how to coordinate and delegate workloads and how to communicate with customers.

I purchased a new vehicle and the warranty that came with my vehicle told me to go to NTB. The did an alignment and did a great job, however I had to take my car to the shop and it had all kinds of issues with the front end... would have been nice if NTB would have let me know that they saw issues when they were under it doing the alignment. The problems were very clear by looking at it.
I do not recommend coming to this place if you dont haves at least 2 hrs to wait! Had an appointment to change oil and rotate tires at 9am. Its 11:20am still here! I even checked in early! NTB explains they didnt have the correct oil at first, someone is bringing the correct oil. Asked again why such a long time. This time NTB said they brought the wrong oil! Now apparently the shop manager is getting the CORRECT oil himself! Like stated before unless you have an abundance of time dont come here!
Alignment was great for a lifted truck but service from front desk can be better. Kurt didnt explain anything or cared to explain after I asked. 3 stars for bad service and 5 stars for alignment thank you for quality service

I went in to get a new set of tires sometime around the end of November when they had their buy two get two free deal. I was happy with the price they offered and agreed to let them do the work. They said just to wait there and it would only be about an hour. Three hours later my truck was still just sitting outside. Even when they brought the truck inside it was another hour before they started working on it. Then it was taking them about 30-45 minutes to pull each tire off the rims. After the second tire I was fed up with them and told them to put the two tires back on because I was tired of waiting. After I left my tire pressure sensor light remained on. I had to go out of town and so I didnt get a chance to take it anywhere else until about a week later. I took it to Discount Tire where they discovered that one of my sensors had been deliberately smashed. So not only did they waste my time but also cost me $100 to get the sensor replaced. I will never do business with any NTB location due to these thugs.
I purchase full set of tires . Less than 9,000 miles Two Tires came out to be defective. The salesman did not want to warranty them. And wanted to sell me another set of tires. And I did bought the road hazards.
Terrible experience these last two years. Im tired of giving these people a chance. Always takes 2 to 3 hours even if I set appointment every time. Unorganized staff. Several or 80% of the time the receptionist has to go in the back and do the oil change himself. Im done. Im NEVER coming here again. DO NOT RECOMMEND
Brought my work van in on a Tuesday at 3 PM. Needed the oil changed and had a nail in a tire. They told me about 1 1/2 hours. I figured 2 hours. OK time to play on my phone. Finally around 5 the guy tells me it needs a new battery. I said it only has 30,000 miles on it! He says, well thats what my tech is telling me, it needs replacing. I said no. He said OK, well its done and their about to pull it out. Its 6 now, and Im still waiting! Walk outside and see they are just now working on the tire. Now I read other reviews and wonder, how the hell do these guys stay in business. Terrible. I will find somewhere else to take it from now on! UPDATE: So after asking before and after service, oil change light never got reset and I still have a nail in the tire! They marked it, but didnt pull it out. Instead they found a second one on the same tire and only pulled it.
I had a blowout on a Wednesday evening, and called them 10 minutes before close, hoping to at least let them know I would be dropping my car off. They stayed open to check my car in, and had it ready when I got there in the mid-morning. Good communication and great customer service.
This place couldn’t even rotate my wheels without screwing up a lug, they stripped and then tried to hide it from me. When I found out and asked them to fix it they wouldn’t even back there work! I would never go back there for anything ever if you know what’s best for your car!
Ive made an appointment the last couple of times Ive gone for an oil change and the wait time seems to be steadily getting longer. This past time I went in with an appointment and waited (there in the store) 2.5 hrs for them to change the oil and cabin filter. Im giving two stars because the staff were friendly with me even after they could see I was frustrated. The guy said it was some malfunction with the site and there were too many appointments overlapping. I would have appreciated them telling me that when I got there.
My Husband took our truck in to have the oil changed and the tires rotated (They offer the tire rotation for free with an oil change) We have had a problem before of them NOT rotating the tires, so when he took the truck in this time he requested the manager and told him his concern about not rotating the tires... the manager assured him he would personally make sure the tires were rotated. When we returned to pick it up Mark checked the tire he had marked on the rim DF for Drivers Front. Guess what it was still on the DRIVERS FRONT.. NO ROTATION! and of course the manager had gone to lunch, Mark ask for the assistant manager and he assured him the tires had been rotated, it was marked on the paper work ( Mark did not tell him he had marked the tires ) The assistant manager call the worker that was suppose to have rotated the tires and he insisted that he had rotated the tires. ( They still did not know we had marked the tires! ) at this time the manager returned and Mark ask him if he knew about the tires not being rotated, he assured Mark that the tires had been rotated... Well as you can imagine My Husband is getting very upset at this time, they still did not know we had marked the tire!! After the Manager told him he made sure the tires were rotated he pointed out to them where he had mark the tire!! EGG ON FACE AND FEET IN THERE MOUTH!!! The manager had the tech go rotate the tires..... Now my question is WHY do you offer free rotation if you are not going to do it??? We gave them 3 chances this is the last time we do ANY business with them.... AND it leaves you wondering DID THEY REALLY CHANGE MY OIL AND FILTER WHICH WE DID PAY FOR???? I really have no way to check that, they did showed him the clean oil, however it was not black or anything when we brought it in so I am still wondering if it was changed?? I have written a few reviews, but not very many, I felt compelled to write this to warn others like us that depend on a company to help us take care of our cars... I will NEVER use them again for any reason and I will let all my friends and family know and anyone else that will listen BUYER BEWARE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND RUIN YOU TIRES OR IT COULD BE YOUR MOTOR!!! VERY CONCERNED CONSUMER!!

Three hours for a oil change?? They werent even busy! Ridiculous, could of done it myself in 15 minutes if I wasnt injured. Or taken it across the street done in 30. Lied and told me 30 minutes to my face and beat around the bush when i asked for updates. Worried they damaged my car it was back there so long.Here over 3 hours now. Customers in front of me had a bad tire sensor and a battery replacement... they were here hours as well. Something is not right about this place.
Fast and friendly reserved app Friday evening was able to be seen following day service was quick and easy. Needs a little more touch up as far is decorations sitting area very blan but most people dont sit around and wait for vehicle and it is an auto shop so understandable

Had an appointment at 10 first customer didnt get seen until 11 I got there I. Time should have been the first customer seen 🤦🏻♂️
My son took his truck in for a front end alignment. They proceeded to do the alignment and afterwards told him he needed new ball joints. Instead of not doing the alignment they did it and told them he could bring it back in after he got ball joints fixed.He got them fixed and took it back like they said. They then had the truck for 7 hours before calling and saying they could not do the alignment because it was the wrong ball joints. I matched the receipt from the auto store with the list NTB said to get and we had gotten the RIGHT parts. Which makes me wonder why they said they were not the right ball joints. So they would not honor the warranty. I asked for a partial refund since they would not honor the warranty and should have NEVER done the alignment if the ball joints were bad. The store manager was rude,angry, argued with me and refused to give a partial refund or any refund at all. Then I said I would complain to the corporate office. The manager flipped his business card at me told me to leave and said to call corporate because they would not refund either. So I called corporate and asked why they had my son pay for an aligmmemt when they knew the ball joints were bad and then refused to honor the warranty or give a partial refund. The corporate office agreed that the alignment should have NOT been done when the ball joints were bad and issued me a full refund which was the only good thing that came out of this mess.The store manager is rude, will argue with you and throw you out even if they were wrong.He can reply with all the excuses he wants but he was in the wrong and even the corporate office agreed he was wrong and issued me a full refund even though I only asked for a partial.
Extremely poor service at it’s finest here. Came in today to get an estimate on front end alignment. Guessing this was the manager I spoke to at the front desk. Old gray headed hair jerk with the worst attitude. Lacks the common courtesy to speak decent in any form. About the only thing he help me with, was to change my mind within seconds, thank u lol. Went to change oil for 19.99 as the ad said, but the boss wanted to charge me 55 dollars plus the extras, I had to argue with him, and we call the employee that I already showed him the ad. on my phone, before he changed oil, otherwise I had to pay almost 60 dollars.
I know at any run of the mill mechanics shop they tell you not to put a HIGH IMPACT torque wrench on a TEMPERED manifold bolt. Yet that is exactly what the mechanic at NTB - National Tire & Battery did. A simple 1 hour oil change, turned into 4 and a half. And it sat on the lift for almost two hours before someone went to pick up the oil, that they were apparently out of. Now i have to potentially miss work AND i have to take my truck to a muffler shop, because im pretty sure they are going to have to tap it out.
Spent 3 hours just waiting for my tires to get changed. There’s rarely anyone at the front to answer questions or help customers. Dave and Rick were nice, but I wouldn’t want to spend another few hours here for the price. Next time I need to buy new tires, I’d rather go to the smaller shops.
I actually had a wonderful experience for my Keep and my gfs civic. Mark Luis got everything taken care of in a timely manner, helped us out, and got us back on the road very quickly. Im happy that I came here.
Well... the price was ok.. but I spent 2.5 hours ON A SLOW DAY waiting for an oil change. They were supposed to air my tires but didnt.... full vehicle look over.. pshhh... I had to ask: so how did everything look.. oh it looked good we checked the battery... really... never again...
I mistakenly assumed a national chain would be somewhat trustworthy. I took my car in for a new battery and was told they had one for $109.00. I said fine and prepared to pay. Was told the total would be $207.00. I asked why and was told it was $70.00 to put the battery in the car plus several other fees plus tax. I said No thanks and went off to Sears. I feel lucky that I was asked to pay in advance so I didnt get stuck with a ridiculous battery installation charge and very fortunate to find out they are scam artists before taking my car in for something major.

Oh wow... Im here for 2 new tires (06/13/17). After seeing all the negative reviews I still came to this place. Im here waiting for my car and I just saw two customers wanting to talk to a manager. I dont think none of them got the service and the customer service they wanted. Honestly, its too late for me to cancel the job... As I type this, Im afraid the guy in the counter is going to scream at me if Im not happy with my tires. Save yourself the embarrassment, leave NOW while you still can.Now to practice the satisfied customer smile... 😅😅😅😟

Shouldnt take 3 hours just to rotate tires. No matter what time I get here there is always, always a long wait! Horrible service! I only brought my car here because I get the free tire rotatation other than that I would of took it elsewhere. And there was only 2 cars when I got here. Not sure whats really going on. I do not recommend this place!
DISHONEST, stay away. I took my Toyota Avalon in for a wheel alignment. They came back with a very impressive computer printout. NTB claimed we needed $660 of work; cam bolt kits and tie rod. I took the car somewhere else and had it aligned for less than $100. There was no need for any of these parts.
Went to this location to just get my tires re balanced and was told wait time would be about an hour. Three and a half hours pass nothing had been done to my vehicle and was told that I would have to reschedule another day because they where too busy with appointments, I couldnt believe that they made me wait all that time just to tell me I would have to reschedule another day. Never again will I go back.

I was there yesterday and I had to get two tires replace the guy tells me that its going to be a hour wait ....I can do that no problem but tell me why I end up waiting 3 hours ...no excuses this place is horrible a nightmare they need communication nobody told me nothing had to figure out too see what was goin on Manger comes up and says he was at a meeting and that they was waiting to receive tire sensors. ..should you have had that in inventory or couldnt you use the originals guess they damage them
3rd visit to this location and it took 30 minutes to find my information and then another 1 1/2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation when there was no one in front of me. I even had an online appointment. I gave them 3 chances, time to move on. Additionally, its very unprofessional to wait on customers smelling like the cigarette you just smoked. No sense of urgency or concern for how long it took even when I brought it up. The only response was that these national accounts can be tricky.

If I could give zero stars I would. Computer was recognizing appointments, a simple drop off turned into an hour wait for their computer to recognize my computer appointment. Then was told an hour to an hour and a half wait for an oil change, tire rotation (if it needed it), and wiper fluid. Also, do not understand why all of that cost me $81 if there was a special for under $20. I am pretty sure I just got ripped off for being a single white female dropping off a car by herself. Next, I waited now an upcome 4 hours after being told by the manager it had only been there for 2 (hope they know I am a teacher, 9 to 12 is 4 hours). I had an appointment by 9 and took my keys at 9:15. Claimed they were very busy...then don’t let people make appointments til you aren’t slammed or tell people you cannot do it.Don’t get an attitude with me because you suck at customer service.

Plain Laziness. No will to offer alternatives or constructive suggestions. If you have any problems please pick up the phone call the Gulf Freeway location ask for a manager. The front staff is just not helpful at all. The mechanics are good at what they do through. One came out to tell me that the other tires that were placed at the dealership had too much air. Could have had an accident which made sense because after taking it to the dealership for the back tires I felt the car drive strange. The front wheels are from NTB.

On a side note, (long read) AVOID NTB on fairmont in pasadena. I dropped my truck off yesterday for a simple rotate&balance plus fix a nail in tire. I dropped it off at 9am. I get a call from Kirk around 3pm saying my truck is ready. I swing by to pick it up. When i get in i immediately have Tire error msgs on the dash. I look it up on my phone, they suggest drive it a few miles for the computer to re-set... it never did. So when i get home i start looking, they scratched half of my rim, (the one they were fixing the flat) and my aluminum cap was changed to a generic plastic. I called and Kirk said to bring it back, (he was gone when i got there). One employee immediately came out demanding to see the scratch.... when i showed him the damage.... he just kinda stood there for a moment and left without saying anything. I went back inside to speak to the manager which never once apologized for damaging the wheel or the sensor. They decided to take my wheel back apart, while they ordered a new sensor, without letting me know what was going on. I sat there till 7pm waiting for them to repair my truck. However, my truck shakes more than before and i wasted a day there and they damaged my wheel. When i asked him about this he actually said sometimes it happens....#NTB #NTBSUCKS

Got tires replaced and was told that I needed a new battery. I was not having any battery issues. I went and had it checked at Autozone. They said it was good. Its been a long time since I have been to NTB and the last time I was there for something they tried to get me to pay for an alignment that I didnt need. No more NTB for me.
They always try to upcharge you I had my brakes done and before they had done the brake check they told me that I needed new calipers and rotors on top of brake pads yeah right they take all day just to do the job as well
Had to show the mechanic how to loosen camber bolts after he took almost an hour at it. Simple alignment turned into 3hrs and counting. Do not have them work on your vehicle. Im afraid of my vehicle breaking down after watching this mechanic crank on those bolts from the wrong side.
Got here at 9 am when the store opened. 2nd customer in line. Waited 30 mins to be acknowledged, another 2 hours for an oil change. This is ridiculous. Ill pay the extra 7$ next time to go to jiffy lube.
Picked up a nail in a tire on the way home from work. Went to NTB for a flat repair and was simply asked if I have an appointment !! In total amazement at the counter guys stupidity I said no I have a flat and need it fixed. Counter guy did not budge and said I needed an appointment. The tire lane was empty and 2 techs standing around doing nothing !! Amazing this place stays in business. They will never see me in there again.

Once there, the person at the front has ZERO customer service skills. No acknowledgement of me being there and waiting in line until after he returned from the back. He seemed like one of those people that hate their job. Just genuinely unhappy. After at 3:20, I asked for an update since its been well over an hour. The mechanic was at the front and told me just bc I made an appointment doesnt mean I dont have to wait. LoL okay, but what happened to this 1 hour window? He went and checked on my SUV the returned to clean up his snappy attitude and told me he was going to to get the oil change done for me. About 15 minutes later, he told me I didnt need an alignment though Ill be taking it somewhere else to double-check because I believe they just wanted me out of there as much as I wanted to go. Finally, at 4PM, my truck has an oil change. The people that came in after me were already checking out and leaving! I was going to speak to the manager about the poor information on wait time, lack of communication and over all bad customer service but apparently, he hadnt been there. ---which the staff made it clear they were unhappy about.2 hours was ridiculous but poor customer service tops it all off. I would hate to see what wait times are like when its actually busy because there were only 2 cars in the garage when I had pulled up.There are too many options to go here. I have a few more months on my 1 year alignment but after that, back to Discount Breaks & Inspection. Had their alignment machine not been down, o would have never had to go to NTB.-----SN: if ever in Round Rock TX, THAT NTB is great!
Took my truck to because I had two tires with a nail on them. Told the counter employee the situation told me OK went and checked it out and said warranty covered and they would have it done in 30-60minutes hour and a half went back and my truck was still parked. He told me only two people were working at the shop at this point I dont care how many people are working since they already gave me a time it would be done. Another employee told another hour and he told 30minutes later he tells me tires arent patchable. If they would of told it get done in 4 hours I would of say OK or deny leaving my truck since I got stuff to do. Unless I really have to go back which I hope I dont I will not return to an ntb since this aint the first ntb to give me bad service
The people that work there are so courteous and helpful. The work they do is top notch.
Horrible Horrible service. This is not the first time but I try to support my local business in the area. I will not go to this NTB again. Dropped my truck off at 1:30pm for an alignment that I set an appointment for. At 5:09pm I get a call from Kurk to say, we cant do alignment because the head on our machine wont fit your truck..I purchased the alignment package previously and have gotten an alignment here multiple times. Bottomed line is they juggled my truck around at ranned out of time to do alignment then gave me a bs excuse. Other customers were in store complaining as well. This location needs to be shut down for horrible service...
