After a long dreadful month of my daily driver vehicle being parked with slight hope if it would be repairable, OZ miraculously repaired my vehicle. My vehicle had been previously inspected by two other mechanics who simply could not diagnose what issue my vehicle was experiencing. I was referred to OZ Mechanics and I am grateful I was. After arrangements were made to drop off my vehicle at his shop, since my vehicle was having a charging issue that would drain its brand new battery. My car and I, arrived at OZ Mechanics, I informed him of the issue my vehicle was exhibiting and he stated he would get this dilemma resolved as it might be a simple matter to resolve. When he said this, I was in disbelief as two prior automative mechanics could not diagnose the issue my vehicle had. OZ literally called the next day and said my vehicle was ready for pick. I could not believe it so I asked what was the issue. OZ stated it was a wire from the alternator that was incorrectly connected. Upon arrival, OZ was still conducting tests on the vehicle to reassure the issue was resolved. OZ explained to me the purpose of the tests he was conducting & what results we must obtain to assure the issue has come to an end. In the process all of this, another referred customer arrived and briefly explained the issue his vehicle was having. The customer stated he was told by another mechanic what was wrong with his vehicle but OZ informed him of the following: First, go buy a specific product which will assist you in diagnosing the issue with your vehicle. I do not want to complete a job that might NOT be required on your vehicle as it might be an issue that is less complex. In my mind, I said “honesty” goes a long way in this world. Another mechanic could have simply said, okay, it will be this much to fix the issue the customer believes is the issue when it actually might not be the issue. Once the customer heard the advice from OZ, he went on about his way and OZ resumed in running tests on my vehicle. Once completed, he said go have a test run and the vehicle was on the road driving great. I will be returning for further maintenance on my vehicles with OZ Mechanics as he attains immense expertise in his craft. I would recommend OZ to anyone for their automotive repairs & requests!!

Oz replaced my motor mounts, fixed my moonroof and a noisy actuator. He fixed all my car’s problems. Excellent work!

I’m so impressed with the honesty and excellence of Oz Mechanics. I found out about this place while looking at car maintenance videos on YouTube, he is very professional and knowledgeable. From the outside might not be the biggest or prettiest building, but dont judge a book by its cover. I brought in my 2010 Jeep Wrangler, back in June 2017, due to it needing an engine replacement. Oz replaced the engine with a remanufactured Jasper engine and got it back up and running at a reasonable time. Fast forward to today, I have put over 40,000 miles on it and my Jeep is still running like new. I brought in my wife’s 2013 Ford Explorer two weeks ago to take care of some issues she was experiencing. Oz found the problem, worn out motor mounts, he replaced those and now my wife’s Explorer runs smooth. I liked the fact that he kept me informed of the repair status via a phone call, text, or pics. He’ll show you the parts that he replaced and lets you see the issue with them. I also like the fact that he follows up after the repair to see how the vehicle is doing. I live in Cypress, even though it’s about a 45 mile drive to get over there I have no problem making the trip to his shop because I know I will get excellently and honest service. Highly recommended!!

Great service and communication. He is fair and will tell you and show you what and why something needs repair. I would recommend him, the YouTube videos are helpful too.

A good trustworthy mechanic

I had a strange noise coming from the engine that didnt sound so good. Luckily, I called Oz, who had done some previous work on my car a few months ago. He was able to help me out and within two days my car was up and running with no noise of any sort. Satisfied once again!!

My first experience with Oz Mechanics was when I was having engine issues. I had taken my vehicle to another shop and they told me my engine needed to be replaced. I called Oz and he informed me my vehicle likely had an engine recall and to get in touch with the dealer. He was right! He saved me thousands.My second experience, I hit a curb and could tell something on the front end was bent (badly). Took my car to Oz and he was able to diagnose it and get it back to safety quickly and for a great price. Oz is knowledgeable, honest and great at what he does, highly recommend.

I recently had my engine rebulit by another Mechanic shop and they were having problems. Took it upon myself to bring it to Oz Mechanics shop, as I mentioned to Oz please fix the issue no matter the cost. He called me 2 hrs later all fixed; the other shop had my vehicle for over a week. I was very scared to take my car with just anyone. I’ve had bad experiences where I take my car to a shop and because I’m a female they do “ work “ to my car, charge me an arm and a leg and nothing is actually done to it. In this case Oz was recommended to me by a friend who said he had taken his vehicle to him and was legit. I took my chances and gave him a call. He kept kept me updated on the work that needed to be done and that he was doing. He followed up with me on pricing and even with the time frame that it would take to fix it. He also showed me the worn out parts he replaced as well. Overall I am very satisfied with his work and will definitely take my car to him next time around.

Recently took my truck to replace oil pan gasket and o ring. Lifters were knocking, oil pressure was low and leaking when i took it there. Oz sent me video of oil pan very bad clean it up replace everything and no more sounds runs strong no leaks very happy of the work !!!

Oz is a auto mechanic genius. Down to earth and really knows his stuff. Highly recommend his shop to anyone with an automobile. Doesnt upcharge and and try to find extra problems with your vehicle. Took the wifes 09 Ford Focus for a rattle when I gave it throttle and my 2011 Ram for a check engine light he answered all my questions kept me up to date on everything he was doing and on what he found out on each vehicle. Oz mechanic is one of the best mechanics ..Auto Parts told us we had to replace a throttle..oz didnt think that was the problem after diagnostic the vehicle he clean the throttle body. After that he still wasnt satisfied come to find out all that was wrong with it was a bad rub elbow for the pcv value replace that and the vehicle is running great .... save me $200... thax oz 🖒👍

By far, one of the best customer services Ive experienced! 2011 Chyrsler Town and Country needed a TIPM Relay Bypass, that seems to be an aggravating and persistent issue, with these vehicles. Found Oz on his youtube channel, and he was knowledged and familiar with this problem. Went to him right away. I have to say, he is one the nicest people Ive ever meet. He went beyond and above, to make sure the problem was completely resolved. Oz is an amazing mechanic!!!! He really listened to what I had to say about my 2013 chrysler town and country. I was researching none stop trying to figure out what was wrong and suspected the fuel relay to be the cause of my crank no start issue. I spent a lot of money taking it to clear lake chrysler (dont go there they screw you over) for a diagnostic and they swore it was the fuel pump that needed to be replaced. I replaced the fuel pump and it still wasnt fixed (HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS LATER) so I searched all over google, facebook and youtube and came across Ozs video that had to do with my exact problem and I read all the great reviews about him. He was extremely kind and worked incredibly hard to help me and diagnose the problem confirmed it was the fuel relay and then got the repaired done extremely quickly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GOING TO OZ he is a very fair and reasonable mechanic. Very trustworthy man. I will recommend him to all family and friends in the future. I will definitely use him again if needed.
