Mr Kevork is very professional and a very kind man. I had issues with car fan blowing the wrong direction despite correct wiring, he took time looking into it and ultimately figured a solution to the issue. Very happy and satisfied with the service.
Very knowledgeable about electrical work. Did an excellent job fixing some problems with my 1975 Porsche.
Jevork is a fantastic auto electrician. He was able to troubleshoot my steering wheel and fix my horn which 4 other mechanics could not fix. Great service and reasonable.
Great service! Mr. Kevork knows what he is doing. He could fix my gauge cluster that was blown out.
Great experience.
Great work,FAST
I love this man! Coming here was a lovely experience. Has something of the old world artisan about him. Treats you with a kind of respect I thought was gone forever from our world. Worked thoughtfully, diligently, patiently for over 2 hours, then charged me only $75. I would happily have paid more. Fixed lots of things Id given up on years ago, in addition to fixing what I came in for. Went above and beyond so graciously and without thought of payment. Honestly got a little choked up leaving his shop as I just didnt think they made em like this any more. Really looking forward to coming back here. Wish I could clone him and have one of him in every area of my life. If there were more of him in the world, the world would be a very different place!
George is the most knowledgeable mechanic for auto electric. Very fair un his prices too. Will highly recommend his shop to all.
I was immediately charmed when I took my old Ranger in. He was basically like Ill look at it when Im done with my grapefruit. Lol. What I didnt expect was that he was about to fix my car while I was standing there and that Id be out of there in 20 minutes! It would have been 10 but I had to run to the ATM and he had to finish his grapefruit.Much like the other reviewer, it was such a pleasant, old world experience, Im looking forward to going back. And reasonable too. I had ground issues and he created a jumper wire and put it in for 35 bucks. So if your lights dim and stereo cuts out when you hit the brakes, go see the old guy at Kevork!
I encountered electrical problems on two separate occasions with my Ford Explorer. Both times, I went to Kevork for repairs. He quickly and correctly dignosed and repaired the problem both times and charged me a very fair price. I would go back if I ever needed electrical repairs again and have recommended Kevork to a friend who was experiencing electrical problems with is Suzuki Samurai. I was quite happy with Kevork. (Despite my Google name, I am a real person and this is a real and honest review.)
My hero! Saved my MBZ from a fate worse than death.... Rusnak Service! He has the hands of a surgeon as he delicately works with the electrical eccentricities of the MBZ.Impossible situation that only he was able to resolve.Forever grateful!
I have a 2008 vw beetle, and I usually go to my regular auto shop to fix her. They are great at oil change stuff, but not that great at the figuring out vws electric system. This time, my left headlight bulb went out, and my regular auto guy said he would need to take everything apart to put the headlight in? I just couldnt believe that. So I brought my car to Kevork 8:30 in the morning, and Kevork fixed it in an hour. He even brought me around and explained what he did to my old loose plug. Very very reasonable price, and very very nice and hard working person.Im so glad I found Kevork. He is the guy to go if you have a problematic vw like me.Note: cash only =)
I had a Toyota truck that had electrical problems and was stranded in Pasadena, and I Googled around and found Kevork. After looking at the shops cheeky website (built by the owners nieces ex-husband) I decided to give him a call and chat. I had phoned a number of other shops in the area, and ended up decided to get my truck towed to Kevork for work - I liked him better than the other people that I talked to.First of all, the AAA tow truck driver dumped my truck in the parking lot of the shop before I arrived - Mr. Kevork, approximately 60 years old, pushed the truck on his own into a stall. I came a few minutes later and felt bad that I wasnt there to help him - he just chuckled about how he thought it was strange that the tow driver wouldnt help.I then explained that I had swapped the battery and scanned the truck with an OBD II scanner. He said hed need about half an hour to diagnose things, and I gave him the keys and wrote my name and number on a sheet of paper in his office. The space reminded me of my grandfathers shop - a radio playing, a few tools, a simple desk, a calendar on the wall. It seemed apparent that this guy wasnt doing his work to become rich - it seemed like he simply loved his work.I took off and phoned him back in 30 minutes. He told me it would cost between $50 to $90 to fix it. I thought I heard him wrong - it had been a long time since I had heard a mechanic quote me a two-digit amount for fixing something. I happily said yes - go ahead and he said that hed have the vehicle fixed in a couple of hours.I had to get back to work, and phoned him back to see how things were going. He said the work took a lot longer than he had expected, but would charge me $90. I was completely happy. He also said that he fixed the truck without needing to replace parts - in my opinion, this is a lost art: the ability for a mechanic to actually accurately diagnose problems without just simply starting to replace components.I had to work late, and couldnt pick up the vehicle right away, so asked him if I could pick up the truck at about 8pm - he said that hed be closed, but hed be happy to come down to his shop, open it, and give me my truck. It was totally beyond the call of duty for him to do this.I was so amazed and pleased by the work done at Kevork that I ended up giving him more money than he requested - I was very happy to leave him a tip for his quality work. Im positive that if I would have taken my truck to a shop like Pep Boys etc. that it would have cost 5 times to 10 times as much since they would have likely just started to replace the battery, solenoid, starter, alternator, etc. until the problem was fixed without really understanding the cause of the problem.Kevork does amazing work. He is from an old-fashioned era in the best way possible: an era of workmanship, quality, integrity and honesty. Guys like this should be respected and supported. Go there!
Were here in Pasadena on vacation and the car started exhibiting electrical issues (sluggish start, jumpy gauges). I drove past Kevork Auto Electric on my way to OReilly, and decided to stop to have it professionally diagnosed. The owner was there and he was SO nice. Within 5 minutes he had it narrowed down to the battery. And along the way had other suggestions. It was a great experience, and Im so glad I decided to stop in!FYI - he takes cash and check only. I wasnt prepared for that, but he let me leave to go to the ATM and come back to pay.
This is a great place to rewire or trouble shot classic cars. Top quality fair prices
