I had to leave one for Allie (colorist) and Jessica (haircut).Allie is the most talented hair colorist I have encountered. I had brassy, yellow tones, streaks of dark hair in weird places and she color corrected it all. She even hand painted my short hairs by my neck line where you cant get a foil in and blended it all perfectly!Anyone with short hair knows the cut MUST be precise and right. Allie also cut my hair beautifully. Im so grateful I found her..

Becca B is absolutely phenomenal! She has the sweetest personality and the greatest talent of being able to bring your dream hair into reality. Shes efficient, patient, understanding, professional, and really brings her A game into everything she does. 10/10 Recommend for everyone.

I went in to Floyd’s today to get my first professional haircut in 5 years! So needless to say my hair was a mess, I even had some paint in it from painting earlier in the day. But Kristina E gave me maybe the best haircut of my life even and gave me good advice for filing my taxes, such a great conversationalist. On top of that her shampoo game is on point. Covid update in my opinion, they were amazing. Super low capacity of patrons and workers when I went to get a cut last week. EVERYONE wore masks the ENTIRE time and on top of that, I got an amazing hair cut from Stephanie! Book online just for convenience is what I did, Ill definitely be back to this location. Parking in the back, yall!!

What is the point of scheduling an appointment when you are 25 minutes behind? How about a courtesy to let me know when I walk in. If my son did not like the cuts, Id take my business elsewhere. A simple apology or acknowledgment that you are late is common decency.

I rarely get a fancy haircut, just a long layer cut, 2-3in off every couple of months or so, but accessible location, friendly staff, and most importantly, great customer service? What more can you ask for!?

I used to be a $7 ten min haircut kind of guy at your local joint run by foreigners.... then I walked into here and sat down in Ash’s chair and holy smokes..... I think I asked for a trim and she still spent so much time on my cut when I came back home my wife, my parents, my coworkers, everybody commented how awesome my haircut was it was “on point” so from that moment on I became a forever customer. The best thing too is sometime if i want longer and another time shorter she’ll make it look perfect for whatever mood you’re feeling that day. Highly recommend her!This place does relaxing neck shaves and warm face towels too!

PARK RIDGE, IL STORE. Bad experience, PLEASE find somewhere else to get a haircut. I paid THIRTY-FOUR DOLLARS for a buzz cut with a #1 attachment. I seriously want to support folks through these adverse times, but this buzz cut was TERRIBLE, literally hairs spiking out all over, around the ears poorly cut. Please find somewhere else to go, at least you cant say someone didnt warn you.

I came in for a walk in and was greeted right away, always a good thing when trying new places. I got my haircut by Robin, she did an incredible job. I wanted just a trim and get everything cleaned up. Before she washed my hair, i got a hit towel on my face. If you never had that, i definitely recommend, it was awesome! Then she asked me exactly what I wanted and executed it perfectly, she worked with me and told me what she was doing throughout the cut. She even styled it before I left, and adjusted something after looking everything over. Shes a perfectionist, which I want when someone is cutting my hair. Trust me, youre not going to leave upset. Definitely will be going back to see her!

Great hair cuts. Wait can be long at times. First come first served. I’ve been here multiple times and never got a bad hair cut by any of the barbers.

I made an appointment to get my haircut. I arrived a little late because I forgot my mask at home. I was just about to come inside until I received a phone call telling me that they had to reschedule my appointment because they dont take anyone over 10 min late when it was really like 5 minutes late. I was literally 20 ft from the door and I asked if i could still come and the lady was very rude saying they couldnt do that and they are booked when I booked this appointment over week ago. I will never come back because of the rude service I was given.

Great chill place to get a hair cut and beard cleaned up. I had Michelle work on my hair and beard and she did an amazing job. She was very polite nice and great to talk to about many things. I recommend floyds to all my friends and family especially recommend Michelle. I couldnt be any happier with my experience and my results.

My 10 year old son and I recently visited Floyds for the first time. Great experience as we were looking for a barber close to home. Ive never seen a kid excited to go back for his next cut. Excellent service, cool atmosphere and priced well. 5 stars!

Such a cute place! Chairs are comfortable, I appreciate that the wash bowls are at each station and everyone there is very kind. My service with Kristine was perfect and she was very attentive to what I wanted and took time with her work. She made sure I was happy with my hair, and I really enjoyed my time there. Shout out to Cara for the dope haircut!I was a little off edge at first because she was upfront about not being a barber and only a stylist, but nonetheless I gave it a shot and I came out looking better than I thought. Very friendly and down to earth, as well as knowledgeable. She gave me their signature hair and body lotion just try out and I ended up buying a bottle on my way out. Pricey yes,but you get what you pay for which is great service. All in all, Ill definitely be stopping by here again

Open at 9:00 AM, 9:03 walk in to a 30 minute wait.. you’d think that wouldn’t be the case... maybe have a few more openers to accommodate more than 2 hair cuts at a time at time of opening.

I started getting my hair cut here a few years ago and this is the ONLY place I will go. Sara S gives a perfect cut every time and the best shampoos as well. Andrea up front is always super nice and helpful as well. Nothing but great things to say!

Great atmosphere from the host to the stylists, who know how to not only cut hair but they just know how to make you you look good. When I was thinking about changing up my hair style, I discussed with the stylist I had at the time (they have all done a great job so I dont have one I go to all the time) she recommended something and I went for it. I wasnt sure about it but the response was so overwhelmingly positive that I havent looked back since. Highly recommend!

Totally over charged and it was intentional. I went in to ONLY get my tragic split ends trimmed off. She asked if I wanted layers and I said no just a clean-up. When she was done the girl at the register gave her the look and she returned with the nod. What am I talking about? Bartenders and waitresses have been doing this forever. When a customer is a jerk, bad tipper, etc; this is the queue to over charge them. Now I wasnt any of things, and I tipped just the same, pretty much to say youre an AH to the stylist. I was charged $37 for a long layer cut. This was a trim to get rid of dead weight. Not cool. Im sure theyll have some wonderful excuse. I have no interest. Just dont go here. Period.

I visit Veronica and she nails it everytime. She knows how hair works and can tell you whats possible, if you need to grow out or train it, whatever! Definitely recommend this place and definitely recommend Veronica!

I went to get my hair colored blonde after growing it out for two years. I had Kristine E do my hair and it turned out amazing. This girl has mad skills when it comes to blonde ombre. I will forever only go to her for hair color and cuts.

Medium to higher end full service barbershop. Including face and scalp razor shaves as well as color. Caters to largely male cuts but also does a fair amount of ladies cuts.Consider calling ahead to get in line (or setting an appointment) if you dont have 15-30 minutes to wait.

Veronica cut my hair and always does a bang up job! Great fade and great atmosphere overall. Even if there is a wait, the music is great to listen to.

It would be nice to know, hair covering not even an inch of the neck is considered “mid length cut”. Came with the picture of desired haircut, came out with nothing even close to what was on the picture. Very disappointing experience.

Ive wanted to write a review for awhile. I used to go to (name) Barber shop in the city for 2 years but the wait time was plus 2 hours. So I stumble upon Floyds and went there because it is right by my house. it was inconsistent sometimes. because I had someone different every time. I get a side part with a two on the sides. Im particular. One day I was paired with a very nice woman named Gianna.. Gianna is the only person I trust with my hair now. I have bullet points for all the reasons everyone should request her.1. Very Professional2. She goes through all aspects( like how often you should shampoo and condition based on your type of hair)3. She doesnt push or over sell their products. She coaches you on how this product will effect your hair. purely educational. This is why I only buy what she recommends. Not because I feel obligated. but, because I know that she knows what she is talking about.4. She is genuinely a cool person to talk too.5. The hardest and best thing about her is. Gianna is so Consistent. every time you get what you want.I have had the pleasure finding her and have been going to her for a little over a year and have complete trust in her opinions and knowledge about hair. If your reading this review. make sure you book an appointment with her(Gianna). Stand-up and Talented Gal!!!

Very expense for just getting a fade. I think this place is for styling and cutting your hair a certain way. But dont expect getting a fade for under 20 bucks.

Ive never given a review for any place but after visiting here I felt I definitely needed to. I was worried about who to get my cut from because I didnt want to take a chance at my hair getting messed up and this was going to be a new place for me. Kerry was probably the best I could have gotten. She is definitely talented at what she does and was very nice as well. I loved the atmosphere of the shop as well. Will def. return.

Haircuts are great here, however, Im more interested in getting in and out.It says 9 am open, and no one is here
