This place was absolutely terrible. As soon as we arrived, the fire alarm went off and stayed on for 3 hours with no one to contact at the hotel. The rooms were absolutely disgusting. Stuff running from the ceiling to the walls, hair in the showers and sinks, molded toilet, no towels or wash rags, stray cats everywhere, condensation in the room was TERRIBLE. There are just no words for how bad this was. It needs to be demolished. I don’t know how it’s still running.
. Housekeeping could do a better job cleaning.
Student Breaks at The Summit in PCB is extremely difficult to deal with. I traveled with a group of almost 80 recently graduated high school students. Every individual was told to pay the room fee, VIP pass fee, and a “misc. fee?” Aside from the misc. fee we were told to pay a security deposit for our room ($50.) We were unaware of the security and misc fee until our arrival. This was a major inconvenience for a group of 18-19 year olds that didn’t have a lot of cash on their person. However, my group complied and paid the fees upon arrival. On the day of our departure we lined up to get our security deposits back. This is when student breaks became extremely hostile and unreasonable. Several rooms weren’t given their money back even though the rooms successfully passed inspection. Student Breaks also tried to keep $60 from a room because supposedly one person hadn’t paid the $60 initially. When we went into the Student Breaks office to request video footage they denied us the footage saying that “the camera person wasn’t available”. Next we requested our receipts from Student Breaks to see exactly where our money had gone. They denied us our receipts and said that if we continued to ask they would call security to have us be taken out. We didn’t get them printed until we reminded them that holding our receipts is illegal. Even with that, we only got one recepit printed.Student Breaks brought up random charges on my group the day of our departure and made the end of our vacation extremely stressful. I would not recommend dealing with Student Breaks in anyway.
The worst experience ever. Mark Perry is awful to rent from and will do absolutely nothing to help you. I will never be back to this place. So nasty and even found a dead rat that had been there for week along with roaches
They dont do a good job explaining your packages at all. They talk about free drinks and parties but that is only if you buy the VIP pass which is managed by Inertia Tours. Booking through Student Breaks you only gets you lodging and meals. I would wait to get the VIP pass. They said it would be $99 but I paid $50 to Inertia directly when I got to my destination. The phone representatives are rude as well.
If you want your week to be full of miscellaneous bs charges then stay here. Absolute bs
