My stylist, Amy, is a rock star !! All the girls there are friendly,nice, fun, and professional. Amy’s been cutting my hair for about 20 years. One of the best salons around.

Went to Salon L for the first time today for a no-chip manicure with Kim. It was a great experience! Kim is personable and professional. She removed my old no-chip polish in the best way Ive ever experienced - very gentle, no nail scraping. The no-chip manicure she did for me turned out perfect. Ive been on the hunt for someone great to do my nails. Calling off the search!! 😊

Late review, I was in on October 3rd I think.I needed a major color correction so I asked to see their most experienced colorist. I asked the stylist to make my hair a dark level 4-5 violet/gold brunette and said very specifically I did not want to see the red/copper that I had. My hair before the service had three different colors. From my scalp to about 4 inches down was one color, 9 inches down from that was the red tone I hated, and another 4 inches down from that was a color I liked but didn’t care what looked like because eventually would be cut off. I asked if lifting the red out before depositing the chosen color would be wise because if you just layer color over color you’ll risk a possibility of remnants of the under tone. She said no and I automatically trusted her. She mixed the color I chose with a neutral color(which contains red pigment) to fill gaps which was necessary on the bottom half. After the rinse out and blow dry to check the color I was initially pleased because anything would have looked better than what I had before. I walked outside to check the color in the sun since I wanted to make sure the red was gone, and it seemed good( I’m very aware brunette color has trace red pigment but not so much in the color I chose, it was more violet with gold) when I got home and took my mirror outside was when I saw it...the red.. in The same section I wanted it banished from. I called right away and said the red was there, we worked out a day for me to come back to get it fixed no problems at all they were eager and willing to fix it but I ended up canceling last minute because I had a family member pass unexpectedly and I never called back to re re schedule because honestly I didn’t feel like making the trip all the way back there. I give two stars because I really feel that pre lightening my hair first to lift the red out was the way to go, also since it’s been a month with a few washes, the red is even more prominent in the same problem section, and I was charged for a full blow out style. I didn’t get a full blowout she Basically rough dried my hair just so we could see the color. I didn’t protest, just paid the $200 because like I said it was wayyy better than what I had. Don’t get me wrong my low star rating isn’t because they didn’t try to get me back in or see what they can do to help me out again, it’s because the process Didn’t work and the initial problem wasn’t corrected. I’ll re rate and give a new review if I get back there sometime.
