Took in a pair of too-big shoes and the people here were incredibly kind and knowledgeable, immediately fitting my shoes with a perfect pair of inserts. Will definitely return for future shoe needs! Thank you!
A delightful local store full of nice little things: hats, scarves, socks, shoes, convenience items. Very nice owners-attendees were very friendly and helpful. We came to browse and left with a nice new hat.
I gave in 2 pair of shoes for cleanup. The cleaning was highly unsatisfactory and I feel I was overcharged for the service. I was given an estimate of $10-15 per pair but was told that they would call me for the exact price before they start cleaning up. I was given a much higher price on phone $25 per pair. I decided to give a shot with only 1 pair. All the white areas of the shoe: the tongue, Adidas stripes, sides of soles are still dirty. Rest of the shoes is black and had some white spots, which they couldnt get rid of either. I dont know what they cleaned in that shoe! I could have done a better job cleaning it myself. 2 stars for returning on time.
Jess was amazing, fixed my suitcase super fast. Really nice and helpful folks
Ive been getting my shoes repaired here for over 15 years and have never been disappointed. The work they do is exceptional. They are able to fix shoes that I was sure were done for and some how they made then look good as new. Because of the Cobblery Ive been able to keep some of my favorite shoes.
Excellent work and staff!
Friendly staff and great service
I love this store. They have a very talented repair staff. Their selection of sandals and closed shoes are excellent and always comfortable. I plan to visit when the stay at home orders are lifted and the virus subsides.
The kind folks at The Cobblery did a very professional job repairing one of my favorite pairs of boots! Their pricing is very fair and the customer service is 10/10.I will definitely be going back if I need anything else, and would recommend them to others without hesitation.
My husband and I have been bringing our shoes here for the last 5 years. Yes, their price is not the lowest around but their workmanship justifies it every time. Ive brought all sorts of shoes to the Cobblery: brand new high-end designer sling-backs, beat-up leather boots, suede booties, ballerina flats. My husband bring his dress shoes to be heightened. We are pretty picky, but these folks deliver quality and we love them for that!
I had a pair of boots and a pair of sneakers resoled. The owner and his staff were friendly and candid, and did exemplary work to my shoes that made then look even better than new! The prices are more than reasonable and competitively low. Plus, the delivery service via the website and app is such a reprieve in a city like CA.
I hate going into this store. They make me feel like theyre doing me a favor by letting me shop there. I have asked for help and they give me attitude. I live close by and sometimes I still go in there because its convenient. Always leave shaking my head. Thumbs down.
Ive been bringing my shoes here for resoling and occasional repair now for years. The work they do is outstanding, and the pricing is fair. The place to come if you believe in maintaining good quality shoes for years, rather than tossing and replacing.
Went here to get a sling for a luggage bag fixed. It actually wasnt broken and was just twisted yet the owners went out of their way to resolve and do it for free. Recommended much!
BEST BEST BEST PLACE EVER!!! They are so kind and do an AMAZING job!! they can even clean your shoes!! we love it!!!
Wonderful service. She was able to help me right away and did a great job with my leather boots. I will be going back again!
A rarity in the modern word: shoe repair. Like most men, I have few shoes but the shoes I do have, I love. Theyre expensive - in the $200 per pair range, so they are worth repairing. But to find a shoe repair shop is not easy?My old shoe repair shop in Fremont, California, closed down. So on my way to my Stanford University class in SEO and Social Media Marketing... I found European Cobblery, and I am glad I did.Efficient, friendly, and good advice on how best to fix my shoes. My old friends are bok - my shoes, and I have a new friend - European Cobblery. I highly recommend this wonderful shoe repair service in Palo Alto.
I wont even give this store a star. The MOST HORRIBLE business and customer service I have EVER encountered. I bought a pair of boots that were sold to n-me a half size too small. I returned them immediately. This was 2 years ago. They said they were going to order me the correct pair from Blundestone and then months went by. No phone call although I called monthly. Its 2 years past and they NEVER returned my calls and never provided me with shoes. They gave me the run around over and over and over again about not being able to get the correct boots. Now asking for a refund they tell me they should never have taken the shoes back. TOTALLY BS. Unbelievable. Do not go to this store. Do not buy anything from them. They are THE WORST. And should totally go out of business.
Staff were so nice and helpful! And they have a very cute dog on site 😊
Charged me about 3 times what my previous cobbler did and didnt complete the job. I picked up my boots and only the heels were fixed (I also asked for them the glue on the soles and saw up a portion). They did saw up the piece right there and then, but the job quality looks mediocre. Then I came home to discover they didnt glue down the soles.... Probably wont come back for cobbler services, though i do like they shoe selection for sale.
They have a huge selection of shoes for a descent price however i only went here for toms shoes. They have thousands of shoes but dont carry toms so that was a disappointment however the sales clerks were friendly and helpful so that was good.
Ive been getting my Birkenstocks resoled here for years. Great place and conveniently located on California Ave in Palo Alto!
These guys can make a beat-up pair of boots look like you just bought them.
