Living at Mia Palo Alto this summer was a great experience! The building was quiet and had great amenities. Maintenance was always quick and done to a high standard. Pamela, the community director, was super friendly and also a pleasure to work with.
I lived in Mia over a year, and this place is fantastic.**Move-in** During viewing, manager Pamela was very responsible and friendly. She showed many available units, answered our questions, etc. Move-in itself went smoothly.**Living experience** While studio has a limited space especially if two people live there, the layout really works out. It was a Covid year, so my hubby and I stayed at home most of the time, including working from home for him. It turned out to be great due to a good layout. We lived in a smaller studio.I also appreciate quietness of the building. We didnt hear our neighbors, which is definitely a pro.Over a year, all worked perfectly, so we didnt make any maintenance requests. The A/C does a good job filtering air during forest fires. Also, temperature-wise, it worked really well. And the view!!! It was my daily inspiration!**Facilities** BBQ is usually available, which is nice. Fire pit is perfect to meet with a core bubble. Free coffee is fair, and treats are good. I didnt use gym or pool, so no comments on that. Laundry is located on each floor, and overall no issues there.Living in Mia is definitely made my experience living in the Bay Area way better. I am out the area, and I definitely miss the place.
Mia is a beautiful apartment complex. Located in a peaceful part of downtown Palo Alto with good amenities, it has been a treat to live here.I had a seamless move in process all thanks to the community manager, Pamela Peterson. Right from the beginning, she was prompt in setting up the virtual tour and prepared a clear checklist of all things to be done for the move in. Any minor issues reported in the apartment were fixed very quickly thanks to Pamela and Jonathan.I highly recommend Mia for anyone out there looking for a place to stay in Palo Alto.
Love the Mia so far. Have only been here for about 1 week but it’s a great location and nice/clean building. Pamela, in the leasing/management office, is so helpful and made the lease application process and moving in so easy!
Excellent apt to live in. Management especially is outstanding. Pamela made moving in extremely easy and straightforward.
The MIA is a great residential complex, arguably the best part of it, is the community manager Pamela, who is always quick to respond and facilitates everything from maintenance questions to move in/out preparations. Thanks so much!
Mia is a beautiful apartment building located in a nice and tranquil location filled with gardens and ocean breeze. The building manager Palema Petersen is so helpful and responsive. She always has great patience in handling any enquiry and helping any product or service when it’s needed. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who love to stay in this beautiful suburb.
I lived at the MIA for almost 2 years, and am writing this review because I wanted to shout out one of the best perks of living there - being able to call on Jonathan Alvarez. I’ve stayed in a variety of the luxury “corporate apartment”-type setups in NYC, SF, DC, etc. The material amenities of the apartment are nice but pretty standard; par for the course. What is a complete unknown is if the management and maintenance is competent, consistent, reliable, conscientious or not. I’ve seen the range. And I can say - at the MiA, being able to call upon Jonathan at any hour - and weekends, big task or small - and get any help I needed was such a relief. Whether I was at the apartment or not, I trusted him to get the job done, thoroughly, competently. He’s a super sweet, hardworking guy, who is extremely responsive and conscientious. And it’s always a pleasure to catch him in the street or hallway & talk to him. Anyway, it’s been a few months since I’ve moved out to a house - but miss having Jonathan around! Hope you’re well, dude! The MIA is lucky to have you.
I have had a wonderful experience at the Mia. The management is great, and Pamela is always super helpful at the leasing office. She organizes great community events (when possible), responds to emails quickly, and schedules the individual gym slots for use during Covid (super helpful!). Nothing but positive things to say about the Mia, its management, and the staff!
Pamela Petersen and the Mia Palo Alto team were amazing to work with. I toured an apartment that was rented 30 minutes after I had seen it. Pamela communicated that that apartment was unavailable but offered to show me another option that had just become available. I saw the apartment and immediately loved it. I needed an short term lease and needed to move that weekend. Pamela was amazing and made everything come together for me. The move-in process was painless.I have lived in Mia for about 2 weeks now and love it. The apartments are quiet, the neighborhood is in a convenient location, and the views are serene. This is exactly the place I was hoping to find and I am so thankful to have found this apartment.
Outstanding support during the move in process. Great location. Solid concrete walls. Great view from upper units.
Pamela was super helpful to help me move in smoothly! Good privacy (concrete walls) and nice views.
MIA is a great place to live. Really really nice management. Special thanks to the sweetest housekeeper in the world and to Jonathan, who can fix anything - these two might not be talked about much, but they make a real difference - being professional and very kind and happy people.
Expensive, but very nice. Pamela has been especially helpful.
Pamela Petersen assisted me with the move-in process at Mia. She told me exactly what needed to get done prior to move in, she was easy to contact when something needed clarifying, and most importantly, she was extremely helpful (and prompt) when something needed to happen on the leasing offices end. As community director, Pamela helps make your stay at Mia as pleasant and hassle-free as possible. As for the building itself, its in an extremely accessible area with all services within walking distance. As well, the building is within walking distance of the Caltrain station and very close to the Stanford campus. The large studio is perfectly functional for one or two people, and there is a private balcony to enjoy the sun from the convenience of your suite. The amenities (swimming pool, BBQ, gym), and parking are also great assets. I would definitely recommend Mia in Palo Alto to anyone looking for an apartment in this area.
My experience at the Mia Apartments has been great. Pamela Petersen, the C. Manager has been excellent. She made easy what seemed complicated. I am grateful to her.
Great place to live that is close to downtown Palo Alto! Pamela Petersen has been of great help to us during our entire move-in process
I recently moved into MIA and so far, it has been a great experience! The community director Pamela is a wonderful and dedicated person and she made my move-in efficient and smooth. I felt at home at MIA right away and Pamela was very supportive and fast in getting back to me on my many questions and requests. So happy I choose to stay here!
I moved into the Mia three months ago and its been a very positive experience. The apartment is just what I was looking for, the complex is always clean and well maintained and the location is perfect.Pamela was great at the process of showing me around and getting me in and the experience with the whole team since the move has also been great especially considering the challenges of the shelter in place where they havent missed a beat since it came into effect.
Mia Palo Alto is a great apartment community. First of all, it is in a superb location in Palo Alto. The building and grounds are well maintained. Above all, the staff - Pamela (manager) and Jonathan (maintenance) - are proactive, accessible, and go beyond the call of duty to serve residents. I am glad I chose to lease an apartment at Mia Palo Alto!
My husband and I have been staying at the Mia for almost a year now, and we love the place ! It really feels like home. It’s in a nice and quiet neighborhood, 2 minutes walk from downtown Palo Alto with all services nearby. There is plenty enough space in the large studio for a couple. The kitchen is perfectly functional if you love to cook, and there is a large private balcony to enjoy the California sun. The amenities (swimming pool, BBQ, gym) are also a big asset to the place. Pamela, the community director, is always there if you need anything. She and Jonathan, the maintenance supervisor, are very understanding and helpful. If you plan to live in the area, I definitely recommend this place. Moreover, it’s close to Stanford (about 15 minutes by bike) and the Caltrain (10 minutes walk).
Great downtown location, amenities (gym, pool, bbq), and view. New building in excellent condition. Pamela was fantastic and made my move-in a very positive experience!!! Highly recommend this apartment building
Pamela was the first person to respond back to my Zillow request. Very pro-active, organised and resourceful. Just one scheduled tour got me the place I was looking for. Cleaning Services are pretty much on point. Property Directors are the real deal and at Mia, Pamela is a rockstar. Looking forward to extend my stay at Mia, Palo Alto.
It was a pleasant time with the community in Mia Palo Alto. The apartment is well maintained, and very clean. Pamela in the management is super attentive and supportive. I strongly recommend the place.
I have nothing but great things to say about the staff a Mia! It has been a great experience so far and I am loving living in my new home.I want to give a huge shout out to Pamela! 2020 started off very unexpected and she went above and beyond to get me into my new place as quickly as possible, so that I could get the fresh start I needed. Thank you so much Pamela!
Fantastic location, clean, safe, and well cared for. The Mia is an exceptional community in Silicon Valley. Pamela makes the stay comfortable and worked with me to ensure everything was perfect. She creates a sense of community for the residents and ensures all feel welcome!
Pamela, the Property Manager, was outstanding to deal with throughout the process. Whether it was showing the property, answering questions thoroughly, negotiating price, scheduling future appointments,...she made the entire thing as smooth as could be. Its nice to have someone so amicable to guide through a stressful thing like moving! :)
I had a pleasure to meet Mrs Pamela Peterson, manager to Mia Palo Alto and she was incredible! She did her best to help me whatever I need and a professional and kind way!I feel more comfortable to know that I can count on her anytime I need .Congratulations Pamela for your amazing work
Ive been resident at Mia for one and a half years now and I met Pamela, the community manager last summer. From day one, she was easy and delightful to talk to. She cares about Mia residents and the community with her heart and shes got the magic for us to feel like we are at a place that is safe and warm. Summer time and holiday community meetings were nicely prepared with quality wine and cheese. When I left the garaged door key somewhere else, needed a few days to receive it and worried about the street parking situation, she was flexible to lend me a spare key right away. My day just flowed from there.I could feel her strong support to the residents of Mia.
Such a great community! Couldn’t ask for better staff, quality home and fabulous location!
I stayed with family for a couple months and it felt just like home! The staff was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable pleasing all my needs. Excellent location, residential and 2 blocks away from University Ave.The studio was huge, never seen anything alike and all appliances were new. The gym has all new machines, very clean, but as I said the best part was the outstanding staff who works there!
I had a very pleasant stay here. The location is fantastic, staff super helpful.
My wife and I lived in FPIs property Mia Palo Alto for a year. We selected that property because of the management (Wienda and Linda), theyve treated all their residents with respect and most importantly warmth. Never made us feel like they were part of a corporate structure and everything was a formality. The onsite housekeeping staff too are the most enthusiastic bunch, eager to help.Thank you FPI!!!!!!
Love the staff!
Horrible. They made an appointment with us to do apt showing on a Thursday morning at 11am. We showed up on time only to find nobody there and door of leaseing office closed. Mia is not answering our calls either. Please treat other with some respect, and stop wasting everybodys time.
