If you have serious crisis of pretty much any kind just swing by ya know. They will do pretty much everything they can for your situation. And it’s super clean and peacefully. Pretty much most of the time. They work super hard and between answering a thousand phone calls and helping a bunch of people with a buffet of different issues. This is heloful and not a waste of your time if your in the position to need this kind of help.
Family member checked in for a refill. Kept from calling family and held against his will. Facility produced a mental breakdown and had a 5150 imposed. I have POA on file for the Riverside referral. Going to provide that in a civil complaint. In the process of a formal grievance and heading to the Palm Springs police department for follow up with his case file. Attorneys being retained. If youre on Medi Call, you are in danger of being kidnapped.
This morning I asked to take a shower. I was told to wait until other staff would be on the floor. As other staff were on the floor, I asked again. I was told, this isnt a homeless shelter by Monica and what am I doing here. That I didnt want services, etc. I am homeless and try to get out of the shelters. Why is it any of her business. I was treated unprofessionaly. This is a mental health crisis center. What is wrong with these people?
Call first. They’re currently closed because they don’t have a nurse on staff. Kinda defeats the “walk in” part.
Honestly this is a great place I go there everytime no hesitation
Cant believe you call this place a Crisis Urgent Care for mental health. Turning people away in a mental crisis is horrible. This has now happened twice. Sorry I do not look like a homeless tweeker, but mental health affects everyone. Shame on this facility and shame on the staff, hopefully the next person you turn away doesnt commit suicide after you turn them away.
