I visited for the first time in May of 2021. I had Cindy as my tech. She was amazing and I loved my nails and toes when she was finished. 20th anniversary & vacation....She did a wonderful job. I called today to try and make an appointment with Cindy again and was told that she did not have a single opening for over a week. I then asked for another tech based off of the reviews that I had read prior and was also told that this person was not available until at least next Wednesday or Thursday. I asked if there was anyone else that could assist me. The response I received from the receptionist was if you want those two people they are not available I asked if there was anyone else that was able to help me or would I need to go someplace else and the receptionist repeated her response. I stated that I wanted Crystal nails to be my new nail place and wanted to have the name of a tech who would be able to assist me with my appointment and I was then told just come in and you will get anybody. My thought is if Im making an appointment I would like to at least have a name of a tech that I am set to see. Please know every nail tech seemed so nice and courteous when I visited the first time. I really enjoyed the positive atmosphere and seeing women and men enjoying their treatments. Please take into consideration the receptionist and know that it is not good to have amazing techs and a negative receptionist.Thank you for listening and I look forward to my appointment tomorrow!

Lucy always knows styles that are made for you and knows your personality. Shes kind and sweet and always up for a challenge. Shes amazing what she does and I wouldnt go anywhere else!. Everytime I go its a new idea, love this place!

I love this nail salon every time I do a walk in they always accommodate me. Jenny and Cindy are amazing nail technicians!

Love them have been going there for over 8 years and Hannah is amazing. But i also think everybody there is amazing and makes u very welcomed.

I get lots of compliments even from strangers on my nails. About every six weeks I walk in with a picture of what I want for my nails and if they are not able to do it they make suggestions on what they can do. I’ve used different manicurists at this location and they’re all spectacular

About a year ago my wife took me in there to get a pedicure for my feet and Ill tell you I dont go all the time but like every 3 months I have that done everybody is so good in there they have very efficient friendly I love the joke with all the girls very nice place very nice place

I have gone to Crystal Nails several times, Kayla is an excellent technician. Very thoughtful and she knows what she is doing. The receptionist on the other hand is a very rude person. She says what she wants and is very insulting. I asked her why she had lied to me and she said WOW you really scare me and continued to play with her phone. Her name is Diana. While I was waiting I overheard her speaking to 2 other customers that she could only take care of one person at a time and they other would have to wait her turn.When I told her that the Dip had cracked in less than 24 hours, she laughed at me and said, well that’s what the dip does it cracks. Kayla had taken care of the repair and was very apologetic. When I told her how rude Diana was she said she would speak to the owner Jenny. I have several friends that go to this establishment and they feel the same about the receptionist Diana.This is a nice quiet and clean business,I would strongly suggest that the owner Jenny to look for another receptionist. If you don’t have someone up front that handles your clients with respect. You will go down quickly.

Every one was very nice.the place was clean Had a pedi and pink and white on nails. When I was there a few weeks ago it cost 67.00 but today for the same thing it was 75.00. I will never go back. There are plenty of other nail salons with better prices.

Recepcionist was a bid distracted. Be very clear and specific in what you want done. They will try to give you services you did not ask for. Doble check what services you like, before they start.My friend had a french gel pedicure and the white line was horrible.

I just moved to the area from Atlanta and this is the closest salon to me. I am looking for a salon for both the hubby and I to visit every two weeks. I went here when they first opened salons after the covid lock down. I called in advance to be advised if they can take me last minute. When I arrived they were able to accommodate me quickly for a pedicure. While I do like the pedicure overall, the paint job was terrible. They did follow the Covid 19 safety regulations and such. The worst part is that I was treated like a number. No one welcomed me and no one asked my name. It was like a done, next customer. I would much rather spend my money on a salon that wants to get to know me and maintain my business.

I was a walk-in customer first time and am now a tegular! Great service, have had several girls all do a fabulous job.

I have been a client of Hannah’s for approx 5 years, and I have NEVER had anything but an amazing experience:-)!! She does the best pink and whites that anyone has seen! She’s fantastic. The location is very clean and has a nice relaxing ambiance. The staff is very friendly.

Beware! I had a 2:15 appointment. They kept me waiting for 20 minutes then the owner finally sat me with cold water where I waited another 10 minutes. The lady that did my pedi talked me into doing a sparkle red and only did one coat. Looked terrible. Sent me to another person to do nails and as we looked for color to match she had the nerve to get up and leave me sitting. The owner came and said I don’t think we have a color to match. I got up and left. I will never go to this place again. The owner is an insensitive jerk.

Until 3/18/21 I luvd going for pedicures....but 2day I was shamed in2 leaving in tears...my tech not only made me feel shame for my feet but then she talked to each ann every employee in a different language and then brought 2 or 3 of them over to my station to look at my feet and then shake her head...she was obviously upset and I apologize for my feet but in covid times not all of us have a budget to come in...i was so ashamed I will never show my face or my feet there again...i will miss u girls...by the way I do sincerely apologize for the condition of my feet as I did when we started and I do want u to know I tipped the gal $20 for her disgust and for her work

Love this place! Been going here for two years now. You have to find the nail tech best for your specific wants and needs. This place is very clean, has lots of color options, and has good pricing.

Did everything wrong the lady who did my nails messed up and did the dipping powder and did the ombree looking nails bad never go to this place unless you want ur nails ruined for good

When I ask the manager if there is anyone that can do a simple design and he answers for his employees (yes was the answer) and I’ve been coming for 3+ years even after moving across town still staying loyal wasting almost 2 hours of my time because the nail tech obviously could not do what he said she could. Wasted so much of my time I couldn’t even get a simple color I wanted to replace what she tried to do. So now I have to pay someone else at a different place to redo it. You would think after being loyal for 3 years that they would remember you, give you decent service and not promise someone something they can’t since that equals to wasting someone’s time

Mimi always makes my nails look gorgeous!!! I get dip nails and a pedicure every time. I am always extremely happy with the turn out!!! Mimi is also a great person and I enjoy the time I spend with her! I highly recommend her!

I have tried several nail salons and I absolutely can say that Crystal Nail is the best in Palm Harbor. I always request Tammy whether by appointment or walk-in. Shes adorable and she never disappoints me.

Read some of the reviews here and was a bit surprised!! Ive been going to this salon for years and have never had a problem! I dont get manicures though as my natural nails grow fast and I keep them short for baking, etc. I love the pedicures! Just got back from there now and they couldnt have been nicer, even though I didnt get there until after 6pm and they had to wait for me to finish to close!! Thank you!!

I have been a customer of Crystal Nail & Spa and I love it! The staff is so friendly & the salon is super spotless!! Jen & Johnny always a a smile. I love my girl LUCY!!

Will say they are fast, but not very nice and will argue with you. On a Sat. I went in to get a fill/ polish & paid an extra $5 for a white color that is suppose to be better & last longer. I stayed under the dryer 18 minutes & was very careful for hours thereafter. About 2 hours later I messed my thumbs up. I had to wait till the following Sat. Due to work, went in told the manager- man there. He did ask me who did my nails I told him he told her in front of me she put the polish on too thick & showed her my nails. He walked away and she told me it was my fault I looked at her and said excuse me, she repeated & went on, I couldnt believe it. This is not the first time the ladies there have been this way, I wouldnt recommend this place due this. I tipped her very well too!! There are plenty of salons to choose from, I can spend my $$ elsewhere.

I should have stopped going there long time ago but wanted to give another chance, after another chance. I will never step back in. Holly started doing my nails lately and she was awful every single time. She kept asking for gel nails after I said no a million times and she has a very petty attitude about it. If you are so worried about the money you will make from gel I will tip you anyhow and I will give you the difference you would make for gel! I don’t want gel on my nails, period. Losing customers while you are trying to nickel and dime them. If you don’t want to be associated with such poor attitude, I suggest save your time and don’t go.

I have been going here for years and I absolutely love it! Always get a full set and a pedicure and if not getting a full set I get a fill. My nails always come out amazing. Mulan is the one to go to she has always done such a great job and always takes what you say into consideration.

It has been quit sometime since I have had a pedicure and manicure about 5 years. I googled nail salons near me and read their reviews. I called to make an appointment for myself and my friend Christianna for 1:30 p.m . I spoke to Diana who was very pleasant on the phone as well as in person . I forgot how great the mani/pedi are . Tammy took exceptional care of me ! The massage chair was lovely as well as the job Tammy did. Im assuming the price of $40 was fair since I havent been in years . The staff and management were great, funny and professional. The place was very clean and worth every dollar . I will be going back before another 5 years passes .....FOR SURE !!💅🦶👍👍. I just want to thank Diana and Tammy again for making me feel comfortable and taking excellent care of me .

Worst experience Ive ever had at a nail salon. I needed a full set for my bridal shower that was scheduled two hours to the dot when I walked in. I waited for 30 mins or more to finally be seated. Granted, it was Saturday late morning --- but the next part is inexcusable. Once seated, it literally took another 20 minutes for someone to actually sit down in front of me and begin with my nails. I couldnt believe it! I could actually see some employees walking around, not tending to customers, I even saw someone in the back of the store. I told them while waiting I needed to begin as soon as I sat down, but no sense of urgency once I was actually told to sit. Finally, after 20 minutes of waiting and frantically checking the time, someone sat down to start my full set. She was very meticulous ( which id gladly appreciate if I was not pressed for time after waiting so long) so anxiety was building. I will Say, she did a great job.... But waiting time is why I gave this salon 1 star. * occurred November 7, 2015 *

Horrible. Went in for a mani pedi. Theres only one male doing nails there and he worked on mine. Pedi was very painful....he was very rough while working on my toes. No foot massage or work done on my heels. When he did my manicure, he was finishing up and I mentioned very nicely that the polish was bumpy. He got really annoyed and fixed it. He was very negative the whole time....not very relaxing at all. Now, 4 days later and the polish is already chipping. Trying another place next time.

The owner, Johnny, needs to learn how to treat his staff and customers with respect. I will NEVER recommend this place and will go out of my way to share how AWFUL Johnny is. So many other respectable capable less expensive salons within 5 miles. Shame on you Johnny. SHAME ON YOU.

The nail salon was very nice and peacefull. Went in for a gel and the lady was very nice and personable but within 3 days the polish started to come off and felt like they should have taken more time. Very dissatisfied.

I got an ombre acrylic that turned out really nice, but started chipping after a week. Ive never had acrylic chip, much less after 7 days. Pretty unimpressed, especially because it wasnt cheap.

Friendly staff and thier wonderfully relaxing hot stone pedicure massage made for a great expierence for our girls night out!

If you want your nails done right ... do not go here. Not a very professional atmosphere. Drive a little bit down the road to Premier Nail Bar and Vanessa will do your nails perfectly.

Amazing pedicures but horrible for a full set of acrylics. My nails started falling off a week later, which should not happen. The worst part was that every nail that fell off took half of my real nail off with it. Extremely painful. The only woman id recommend is Tina. Ive never been dissatisfied with her work.

They are so annoying about getting gel. First the lady at the frount asked me if I wanted gel acrylics and I said no then the nail tech asked me again about gel and I said no again and then she continued to ask me at least 4 or 5 times if i wanted it and my nails started popping after about 1 1/2 week

My last trip in was last weekend. It was the worse experience I have ever had. The entire pedicure was less than 26 minutes and the girl argued with me about how I wanted it done. I started coming here from the opening and have watched it slowly go down hill. I guess they are just getting too big. Sad. I wont be back.

Ive been going here for 10 years. I no longer live in the area, but I always go whenever I happen to be back in my hometown. Its a fantastic spa with a wonderful staff.

If I could put zero stars I would lady ripped of my nail then try’s to file the broken nail . She didn’t even ask if I was okay and didn’t even offer me a bandage. After that she told me to pay 10 dollars for soaking my fingers in water. Worst Experience ever!!

The man who is at the front I think he is the owner is not a very nice person. I have seen and heard him be very rude to customers at the front desk and on the phone. The gel nails kept peeling in less than a week and having to pay again to have them redone is absurd. I never had this issue with the other nail place.

I used to live in palm harbor and come in for gel manicure and pedicures. I went in to have bio sea weed nails done. I was unable to express my concerns. I had a wax should have been 8.00 charged 25.00. Im sad to say I wont be back.
