Palm Harbor Planet Fitness is great and definitely if you go after 10 pm when the employee, John is there. That is the best shift where the trash is actually taken out, the cleaning stations are filled, and he seems to care the most about the place and his job.Best of all, he remembers me and my workout schedule, knows when I want to Total Enhancement and that I prefer the hydro lounger. And he is the same with all of the regulars. That attention to detail is the very essence of perfect customer service.

Always a good workout. Staff is very friendly and can help with alot of things. Sometimes very crowded but that is a sign of how good it is.

The staff is great and the place is very clean (except for the warning cone and washcloth that is always in the middle of the floor, maybe there is a roof leak) with plenty of different machines to use that target certain areas. Word to the wise, the massaging and tanning beds are not included like it says, you have to put money into a machine that gives you tokens to put into the other machine.

The Planet Fitness is in a nice shopping plaza and easy to access. Not that Im here to hang out with the staff but when I entered and exited nobody greeted me or said goodby as I left.One of the main reasons I give this only two stars is the equipment is older and the leather coverings on the equipment have cracks and are deteriorating.I was pleased This Planet Fitness had a leg press machine. This is also known as a leg sled where you put actual weights on the machine for pressing. The only drawback to this is there are three Smith machines and a leg press machine. They have a grand total of fourteen 45 lb weights.This equated to 8:45 lb weights for the leg press total and four 45 lb weights for each Smith machine. I am not some big bodybuilder guy but when I was doing a leg press and needed more weights there was none to be had. I had to go scrounge some 25 lb weights. By doing so it takes up more room and I was very limited to the maximum amount of weight I could put on the machine. I would like to see them bye at least four more 45 lb weights.The temperature outside was probably in the high 80s, low 90s and it was very warm inside the gym. They put their cardio machines by the front window and the radiating Heat makes this area very warm. They have very small ceiling fans and it causes an excessive amount of heat in this area. The only cool place inside the business was in the bathroom.

We wanted to try out Planet fitness to see if this was a good gym for our small business and our employees as we were going to pay for our employees to use a local gym. Me and my husband and 2 of our staff tried it out. We were disappointed. The culture here isnt really into providing good wellness practices. Staff didnt seem to care and the equipment is much to be desired. No cardio theater on their cardio. Older antiquated equipment. They lack a lot of the basic functional training equipment. Locker rooms were dirty and one of our female staff didnt feel safe in the locker rooms as a few times, guys were seen walking into the female locker room. It was often too crowded. we were told planet is the KMART of fitness gyms. I wouldnt go that far, maybe the Walmart of fitness, but nevertheless we will not be joining this gym due to all the negatives.

Great staff! Everyone is always friendly. They do a really great job at keeping the place sanitized! Great gym with great hours. I am currently on a night schedule and this is super helpful. They have all the equipment you will ever need for beginner, intermediate, and even an advanced training. Thanks planet fitness for being an affordable option and helping me reach my fitness goals!

A lot of the cardio machines seem to need inner cleaning or greasing as they make a ton of noise. 3 out of the four machines Ive used have made a lot of unusually loud noises once you start using them. Apart from that it is very well maintained and the bathroom/locker rooms are maintained well. Staff are friendly as well.Just wanted to add an edit after the owner replied. First, thank you for welcoming me to bring my concerns to the manager. Second, I was going to say something about the noises, but I am grossly overweight and was a bit worried that it was because of my weight the stair stepper machine was making noises. That being said, the sit recumbent cardio bikes shouldnt be affected by weight. So Im really not sure why they were making the clickity clackity sounds they were making. Ill let a manager know next time.

Planet Fitness is doing safe spacing. I still wore my mask except when walking treadmill. Stayed 45mins since it was.my first time back. Ive had both shot and am 76 years old. Leg press really helps.my back.

This is the best gym in the entire universe. You walk in and you are instantly buff. The staff is especially friendly and will listen to all of your problems for as long as you need to talk about them no matter how personal your issues may be. The general manager is pretty good at golf. The Aquafina is especially cold and refreshing compared to my tap water at home. There’s weights n stuff too if you’re into that. Overall pretty amazing no matter how you look at it. 12 stars. A+

I haven’t been to planet fitness for over a year . In May 2020 I called to canceled my membership since I had to move out the state due to covid and to my surprise I am still getting charge after a year . I do not have a job at the moment and I trust the person in the phone that was going to cancel my membership, I sent a letter and never got response either .

John, Billy, and Mark are phenomenal employees. Very welcoming atmosphere and are noticeably on top of keeping machines clean and helping everyone out.

Joined after the last big remodel so I only see what is here now. Most machines are well maintained and clean. The gym members are responsible for wiping machines down after use. I have seen them move and mop under and around cardio machines. Having the black card alows for tanning and the Awsome massage chairs and water jet tables. I would recommend the gym to others. Can be difficult to get into and out of during rush hour times as it is off US 19.

I feel safe bere during Covid, staff and patrons consistently wear masks and clean equipment after use. Staff is very professional and helpful.

Too packed, the music stinks, and they need to turn the water fountains back on for people that want it.

I recently moved here from NC and the GM, ( John) was incredibly helpful and kind setting me up here. He was beyond accompanying in making sure I could use this gym, despite my gym being closed back in NC and not able to get my keychain to function. This location has a great layout and is very clean. I am so happy to now call this location my home gym!

This has been my favorite Gym for years! It’s like being part of a community that really makes you feel welcome! The staff makes you feel like you’re really part of a family. I highly recommend the Clean comfort and welcoming warm energy of Palm Harbor Planet Fitness.

Womens bathroom - the 3 showers need a good scrub - dirty, soap scum everywhere, curtains with a lot of mold in the bottom, and water isnt draining properly. Disgusting.

I have worked out at over 20 other locations across the country and Canada. This is the cleanest club and has the best staff. The atmosphere is Awsome!!!!

Clean, inexpensive, well laid out. Theyre taking COVID precautions seriously (blocking off equipment, multiple stations with sanitizing tools, masks required to walk in/out), and those precautions are much appreciated.

Very affordable prices ($10/mo). Great staff, especially Emily. Shes very friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms, lockers and shower areas very clean. Only down fall, many members dont clean the machines when theyre done, it only takes 5 seconds people (yuk😱). Great place to get into shape.

First day back to work out. Everybody was wearing masks to enter. Most people kept them on while working out. Must people wiped down the equipment after use.

I go super early in the morning and Most of the time when I’m done and want to use the massage chairs or lounges and no one is at the desk. And the ankle straps are HORRIBLE. My ankle is bruised and they need to have the soft ankle straps For us to use for our workouts and to make it a more comfortable experience

We were in Dunedin for the Month of Feb and my husband and I and our friends joined this gym. It was only $10 per month for me and $0 for hubby. The people who worked there were super friendly and helpful. The equipment was in excellent shape and everything was clean. I never had to wait to use anything there and we always went Btwn 8:30 and 10:30. I always saw the people who worked there cleaning the equipment. I would highly recommend this gym.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Makes it very easy to come and have a great workout. Never a problem with having time on equipment. The hydro massage is an excellent end to every workout.

Planet fitness will not their customers cancel their memberships over the phone in this age of isolation and national emergency. They demand that one goes to their location, which is closed by executive order. They insist that one send a certified letter, but they give no address or contact information in order to send the letter to. I will be contacting the State Attorney General and report them. This is outrageous!

When I initially signed up at planet fitness I was impressed by how cleanly everything was from the machines to the floor in the bathroom. I travel for work and I’ve been to well over a dozen of these gyms and the palm harbor is head and shoulders above the rest. The weights are always in their correct place, there isn’t miscellaneous equipment scattered about like there is in so many other gyms. The nice front desk girl Jordan always willing to help whenever I have a membership or billing question and sorts everything out for me. I recommend this gym 10/10.

This is a pretty nice gym. I have been a member for few years and have worked out here here with my mom, my brother, my wife and her mom, and alone. Clean facilities, convenient location for me, other than the rush hour traffic this has been perfect for my needs.

I love this place! The membership is super affordable at $10/mo or the upgraded one at $30/mo. Its open 24/7 so its convenient and you seen get your workouts in around your schedule. I work nearby so I drop in either really early or late where most other gyms around here are closed or will be closing soon. Theres more machines than free weights. And tons of cardio. Great place to lose weight and get on shape.

My friends and I. We love playing volleyball. Its a VERY WONDERFUL PARK for volleyball. The only thing is when its busy it becomes very limited in parking spots

This place is awesome! I have been a member at other gyms, but nothing compares to the customer service at Planet Fitness! They have one (1) manager named Jeff who is awesome. John and Raven are always there to greet me with a smile. Dont be fooled by these other $10 a month gyms that promise the same or better experience, youll end up back at PF in no time!

I enjoy how friendly the staff is. I feel machines can be added or updated. (More leg machines, more shoulder machines) just to add more options. Its smaller than other Planet Fitness locations, so you have to go at a time that isnt when EVERYONE goes. But, if youre there to work out and have a goal, youll be able to achieve it here. The tanning beds are great as well. Locker rooms are always clean.

This place is like a second home to me. I have met many new friends and thoroughly enjoy my workouts. Jeff and his staff, particularly Jordan are very helpful. Jordan is a hoot, always smiling and extremely polite. Someone is always cleaning or refilling the paper towels. You will enjoy your experience at this club!

I was a little disappointed there were so many people not taking the virus seriously by just openly refusing to wear masks. Watched multiple people walk in with a mask on and then take it off as soon as they got past the front desk.

I work out at the Palm Harbor location in Florida, and I have to say that the staff is incredibly welcoming and professional. The members are respectful of each other and do their part to keep the equipment clean. Members give each other space to work out in peace, and there are never crowds around machines. The Director of Fitness, Michael Wiley, is Incredibly sincere and always smiling. The free personal training enables you to connect with other members, which is perfect if youre looking for a workout buddy! If youre like me and prefer to put on your headphones, zone out and focus on your exercise, this the place for you!

Awesome gym friendly staff! Trainer Carter helped me greatly by changing my workout which allowed my to break through a plateau. For the price you cant beat it!

I love how clean and organized the equipments are. Theres a lot of equipments to choose from. This is my first gym ever and Im glad I chose this place!

The facility is adequate, and the machines are in decent condition,I just really miss not having classes too do more of stretching and cardio. Kickboxing classes would be good even self-defense maybe.

Whats the point of mandating masks if no one on the floor, common areas, or cardio is wearing a mask. If the employees are not enforcing it, take the sign down if youre not going to be consistent with your policy.

We enjoy our time there. It’s clean, the equipment is well maintained, and the staff is attentive. We especially like the personal attention we received from Carter who helped us with getting started.

Carter is a true gentleman even though he might jokingly say otherwise! I have enjoyed the two fitness training sessions that I have had with him thus far and felt that I have learned. I plan to sign up for more training sessions with Carter.

I joined about two weeks as a black card holder. I enjoy this location the best. Very knowledgeable workers. Raven took the time to assist me when I had questions about the equipment and she gave me her best advice. Always on her toes and ready to help. Clean and comforting. I have been to numerous of different brands of gyms and this outbeats all them. They have such variety of services to offer and its huge. Highly recommend anyone trying get in shape. Feel good. And to feel comfortable all at the same time.

NOT a judgement free zone. Why did you take off Fox News Channel from TVs and devices. Take off cnn and msnbc if your going to be fair and put on sports. Bad decision. We will be canceling our memberships if it is not change. Not a good answer when your under a corp. umbrella. One guy oversees all of them. No office number to call and you cant reach anyone. Nice try.

Im biased since I work there, but when I didnt work here, I trained here and it is a great gym for a great price.

I only go for the tanning but the beds are great 85-90 percent of the time and you rarely have to wait and if you do its only for a few minutes maximum. The staff is very friendly and helpful in answering any questions you may have. Also, they get to know you and before you even hand them your check in card they normally know not only why I am there but also the type of bed I want and the amount of time I want to tan.

If you come to this location, just know that while the machines, etc may have been sanitized per CDC guidelines for COVID, that does not appear to be the case with the showers. There is about 5 years of buildup on the shower walls.

This place never ceases to amaze me. I truly love the impeccable customer relations and service. Ashley is a true treasure and I hope there is a ladder for her to climb here, because she continues to uphold my first impression. Even though I havent visited the gym in a few months she still knows my routine and has things ready before I even ask, always has a smile on her face, and kind voice. This is the same service I recieved by others even when I first started my membership in 2016. The gym is always Clean, and I love the extras (tanning, massage, beauty angel) I really do love this gym. Thank you!
