For the last 12 years, my cat used to be a patient of the Vet clinic of Palm Harbor . While going there, He was always labeled as a “temperamental cat” or “mean cat”. which I wasn’t happy about it. Labeling people or pets usually make me very upset. My cat is sweet to me, he has a personality, he is funny sometimes and he loves my family.Because my cat was “special”, They always wanted to sedate him during appointments and charge me more money . I kept on going because it was convenient and I considered them like my kid’s pediatrician.I kept hating when every time I went, the first thing they told me was … “well you know he has his temper” .6 months ago, my cat got sick, and they finally told me “ well you can give him this pill to relax him before his follow up appointment“, and finally by miracle he did great during his follow up appointment .So, in conclusion, it took them 11 years to relax my cat with a single cheap pill before his appointments, instead of reminding me that he was sassy - spicy or mean, and it was hard to check him out.On top of that, front desk has been rude lately . The last two times I was there, staff at the front desk had an attitude. And, I don’t go there for free, I paid my bill in full and It hasn’t been cheap .Well, my “I am done” moment was last week, when I call to schedule an appointment, and Staff being rude again told me that there were no open appointments on “week days” for the next 3 weeks.Ok people, I asked this staff to give me an app any hour during the week because I have few days off. Yes, I didn’t call three months ahead, but who does. I am not sure.They simply told me “Nothing was available”- “We are busy” !!! .I am guessing they probably didn’t like me because I have the “mean” cat.Sadly, I was done on that day . 20 min later, I found an appointment at another facility. Staff was sweet and has better reviews. So, sorry Labeling is not a good practice. Everyone is unique and my cat is precious.

I cant say enough about the staff and doctors at The Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor. Weve been taking our dogs there for 4+ years and have worked with Dr. Hathaway, Dr. Garcia and Dr. Turk. All are so professional and truly compassionate about your pet. We recently had to put down our beloved Stella due to cancer. Dr. Hathaway and the vet tech were amazing. It was such stressful and emotional time for us but they were so caring and compassionate. They made our pup comfortable through the whole process. Thank you from the bottom of hearts.

I have a 4 year old havanese who suffers from allergies. It is a battle each time with this vet to get my dog treated. Initially due to covid you could not go in with your dog. Now you have to argue to get not only an appointment but to go in. In medicine with humans it would be malpractice to not have appointment or courtesy. So good luck here they dont care about your pet just your wallet. And good luck if your dog is sufferings

All of the staff and the doctor was so kind and gentle to our dog faith I definitely would recommend this veterinary office they care about your pets this was the very first time my boyfriend and I took our dog faith to this veterinary clinic

They took care of my Golden retriever Frankie for 3 yrs. On June 1st of this year we had to put down the sweetest, kindness and most lovable dog God ever put on this planet. They were very kind and compassionate. I just pray that we get only Frankies ashes. We did a private cremation. My wife and I are frozen with heartbreak and sorrow. We love you forever.Thank you very very much for your kind words ♥️💕💕 it means alot. Doctor Hawthorne was awesome. I will be forever grateful to you.We picked up Frankies ashes today. We would like to thank doctor Hawthorne for her kindness and compassionate way we were treated. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Frankie forever. I just wanted to add that we received our beloved Frankies paw prints today. There was a beautiful card inside signed by everyone that works there. It is so beautiful to see that there is still people in the world like you guys. We will never for get your kindness and love for Frankie.

This is the BEST vet office. The clinic has stayed open later than their usual hours before when we really needed them back in 2016. They helped us through a difficult time with one of our cats needing surgery. Since then, they have always found a way to get me into their office when I call at the last minute and Im so thankful for that when my husband and I both work full-time. They are extremely nice, caring, helpful, and want the best for my cats. As with every vet office, sometimes I have to wait a little longer than Id like to, but Im okay with it since I trust the vet and know that they are doing everything they can. Also, there are other vet clinics out there that are cheaper, but you get what you pay for!! This is the best vet office in Palm Harbor! We moved a little further out about 2 years ago, but I still make the commute because I do not trust any other clinic with our cats!

What a great vet clinic. I called my regular (and now previous) vet because my dog Sydney had a serious problem that was urgent. They said they were very busy lately and i would need to make an appointment for the following week. If my baby needed her nails clipped no problem, when she is bleeding from a hole in her side not gonna happen.Called VC of palm harbor and got it in a couple hours.Sydney got checked in promptly and was pre checked by technician Autumn. She listened to everything little thing I said and relayed this information to Dr. Bollenback . The Dr. Was so comforting to Sydney and the whole team won her over within a few minutes. Dr Bollenback left no stone unturned and has gotten my girl on the way to a quick recovery.I dont know any of the other vets or technicians at VC of palm harbor but Im sure they are just as great. You cant go wrong trusting these great people with your loved one ❤

My Harley came in barely able to walk and hadnt eaten anything in two days, I was scared to say the least. The staff and Dr was amazing, fully explained my options and what they thought was going on based on the info we had at that point. One UTI and Three days later my main man was back to himself, thanks for everything you and your team did!

The owners and staffs are really nice. The knowledge, care, and compassion they show for all of their customers and clients is top notch. I am not a perfect person so sometimes I just have to Pop In without an appointment, one quick call, and they do their best to get me in.

I had used the Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor to take care of my pets for 10 years.When I was going through the process of ending an almost forty year relationship at the end of last year my ex agreed to my having visitation with my dog Griff who was legally licensed tome and the contact on the chip.after the process was closed The Vet clinic of Palm Harbor along with its staff would not give me information although knowing I was the legal owner. They including Dr Mann sure knew the real owner of the pets that they treated over the years and how I had recommended them to others. Dr Mann never contacted me instead allowing the front desk staff to take charge of the whole thing. After finding out that Griff was way over due for care I said I would pay. Even though they would not tell me when the appointment would be. In the end I just gave in and allow the ownership to be changed for the good of the dog. This taught me that someone’s word is not worth anything. Make sure you have everything including your visitation of your pet sewed up. Thank you Jack Spirk and Dr Mann for all you did not do.

We have used several veterinarians in the area, and there are many. We are very happy with the Vet Clinic. Everyone is polite and they treat the dogs with care. Nobody likes going to the vet, but its nice knowing you have a good one if you need them.

Ive been going to The Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor for years! I drive over 20 miles to bring my fur babies for great care! I have tried local places closer to my house and they are not even remotely comparable. The staff and doctors and amazing! They are professional, knowledge, listen, and provide excellent recommendations. My fur babies love it there and are treated so well! They are great at communicating and even call after appts to check up on your fur baby to make sure they are doing well! Excellent customer service and truly caring and compassionate people! Highly recommend!

As a pet owner, I highly recommend this vet clinic. Every staff member is very caring, they keep you informed of everything discussed during the visit, they have same day appointments when you need one, and always call to follow up when needed. Truly awesome, thank you!

I cannot put into words how amazing this staff is! my baby girl was rushed into the vet about a week ago because she wasnt breathing very well. the doctors were very patient and informative. in the time we were waiting for results on her tests we were able to go be with her. while we were with her there was also another doctor there by her side comforting her the whole time. at the end we had to make the most heart wrenching decision to let our baby go, so she wouldnt suffer anymore. the doctors brought us in a private room with Shadow and let us take as much time as we needed to say goodbye. with that being the worst day of my life I cant ignore the fact that the doctors were incredible through it all. we ended up cremating here and were told wed get her back in a week. she came back a few days after along with a card with personalized sympathies from everyone there and Shadows inked paw print which I really wanted but never got the chance to ask. they just knew. still very hard everyday but just a huge thank you to everyone here!

The doctors and vet techs are very caring and knowledgeable. If you have any concerns pertaining to fur baby, they always take the time to address them.

Wow, I cannot say enough good things about this clinic. From the reception staff to my vet tech Carrie to Dr. Turk himself, everyone went above and beyond to help my cat when I brought him in last minute for urinary problems. Hes very anxious at the vet, and everyone took extra care to make sure he was calm and comfortable. They were very thorough during the exam and made sure I understood his condition and what to do for him.This is not my regular vet, but the difference in care we received from this clinic and my usual vet was night and day. Ill only be going to the Vet Clinic of Palm Harbor from now on. I hate that my little guy isnt feeling well, but so glad it led us here.

Absolutely wonderful people here. They got me in immediately when I was a new customer to help my boy, The next day they did the same for me as his condition had worsened. I had to put him down today and they did everything possible to make my cat and myself comfortable. Ive never had to put down a pet before and they really made the process much easier for me. My dog is a rescue and truly is terrified of people, which often times comes out in ferocious barking and jumping and nipping. The staff at this office has been so kind and compassionate with her. It’s the only place I go where she doesn’t bark at people. We will never go anywhere else.

Our dog, Royce, got loose and we were so lucky that a good samaritan found him and took him to this vet near our house.They could have told the good samaritan to take him to the shelter but agreed to board him for the day.We went to get him and the staff couldnt have been nicer and more caring. They called the microchip company and unfortunately they had the old owners info on file.I would not HESITATE to bring any of our animals here in the future. I was amazed at their kindness and compassion.Thank you for all of your help and for what you did for us!

My Charlee and I just relocated to Pawley’s Island South Carolina. One of my main concerns leaving Florida was the exceptional care Charlee has received for the last 4 years. Dr. George Malnati recommended the Vet Clinic after he operated on Charlee’s back legs. Two vets previously had said she was ok. Charlee is 15 and had fantastic care from the entire staff every visit. Thank you so much!

My service/therapy dog Boomer has been a patient at PHVC for years and we wouldnt have it any other way. The entire staff from reception, Vet techs, to the doctors go out of their way to make visits pleasurable.Weve had some challenging health issues to deal with but the kind folks at PHVC always find a way to make things better.

I brought my dog Cheech in for pain after my regular vet at Westlake turned me away. They got us right in, diagnosed, and were so kind and compassionate. I will bringing all of my pets here for future veterinarian needs.

I can tell you that I started going to Dr McGoldrick when he first started his practice with my brand new Chi Tucker. Tucker got very sick and I was sick with worry. I have never met a more compassionate and warm Doctor that you know REALLY CARES for your babies. Each and every person that works there care deeply for your furkids. Dr. McGoldrick called me and walked me through every step because I was very tight with money and it was looking like Dr McGoldrick might have to go in and see if there was some deeper issue that test were not showing. He allowed me to take Tucker home but, called me the next day eary to check on him and then had his staff follow up with me every couple of hours until the seriousness of Tuckers conditioned passed. I was thankful that he was willing to wait and access things before going right into surgery. I feel confident and comfortable that if at anytime he would have taken a turn for the worse he would have been right there no questions asked. I love his whole staff they are like family and I feel very comfortable putting my furkids in their hands. They also walk you through the cost of everything before they do anything so, there are no surprises at the end. If you are not using them you are missing out. I promise you will NOT be disappointed.

Weve been taking our 4 legged kids to Dr. McGoldrick and staff since he first bought the place from Dr. Bogart. I wouldnt trust my animals with anyone else. Dr. McGoldrick was there with us from the start at Izzys first appointment when she was 6 months old and we found out she had underdeveloped kidneys to the very end when we all cried as she went to a better place. I had to leave our cat Goobs overnight for observation and I started to cry... Dr. McGoldrick crouched down and explained to me that he would be ok. Of course I felt like a big sissy afterwards but he did make me feel much better. Every time one of my animals has an appointment, they always call to check in the next day to see how they are doing. Even if they just got a shot. Kind and compassionate go a long way and everyone at this office exudes it. Your kids would be very lucky to be a part of this clinic and their care.

When we moved to FL in 1998 with our best guy - Rascal - a rambunctious Chihuahua, I was referred to the Vet Clinic -- then owned by Dr. Bogart. One day I go in and am told she is gone and a Dr. McGoldrick has bought her practice! Well, I was not a happy camper. So I made an appointment, not for my Rascal, but for me to interview this Dr. McGoldrick!!! That was in 2003 -- and we now consider Dr. & Mrs. McGoldrick as members of our family. We lost our precious Rascal - Dr. McGoldrick and Kris were right there with us - as was their staff - comforting us in the kindest of ways. Over the course of the years we added two beautiful little girl ChiChis -- Schotzi and Lucy. And just this year a new little man came into our life -- TBoy. We also recently added Dr. Parks to our family as she cared for our aging Schotzi during a tough bout with her pancreas and arthritis. I have had animals all my life -- been to many vets -- but never have my pets -- my precious family members -- been treated with such care, kindness, consideration, love, empathy -- as they are by Dr. McGoldrick and each and every member of his staff. They have been and will continue to be a blessing to our family.

The staff is very helpful and the doctors are great. My only complaint is Ive never spent less than an hour there, for anything.
