Absolutely the best computer repair place I’ve ever been to! They go over and beyond to help! They are the most reasonable and honest as well, they are not very close from where I live but they are worth the drive! Be careful in that round a bout getting there though! Almost peed myself.
Very responsive! We depend on our office laptops. Whenever we ran into problems, we called 4G Data. They were able to resolve the problem the same day. Moreover, they checked our laptops security and made suggestions that helped us more secure and saved us money. Highly recommend this company.
To the readers, the $50 diagnostic fee DOES indeed go toward you final repair. I have had a few computers in with these guys and every time I come out satisfied. Absolutely recommend. The first gentleman I spoke with took the time over the phone to try and trouble shoot my problem for me to save me a trip there if possible. To no avail, I had to bring it in and they had my computer in and out in a day. Great customer service and and they are very patient. Absolutely recommend!

My husband and I stopped by about two weeks ago with a network issue at home,after a good talking to a technician and we explained with DETAILS what was going on at home he sounds clueless with the explanation provided,I called my brother from there explaining what he was saying and he told me to step out of the place as quick as possible,when the technician saw us leaving he offered coming to our house after 8 pm for half price of what he offered first time,my husband told me right away “ I told you not to stop here! Place has bad reputation !! Now I know.. be aware guys.
Weve been using 4G for several years now and service has been impeccable. Timely, knowledgeable and communicate well with us in regards to all aspects of our business. I see a lot of negative reviews on here and believe they are false and fake reviews. If something wasnt correct they promptly fixed it. Ive been in the IT field for 20 years and would recommend 4G to small to medium business.
I have used 4G several times and have never been let down. They have successfully maintained and recovered my computers, including restoring a highly used and depended upon older computer that crashed. I was back up and running within hours. The people are exceptional. When working in my house running wires and expanding a security network they completed the work professionally from planning through cleanup. The trend is to go above and beyond my expectations which is rare these days.

This Company has been nothing short of invaluable to my business over the years. I cant think of a single occasion on which they were unable to accommodate me when some computer emergency arose. This is even more remarkable because I am home confined and unable to bring in my computer for servicing. I called 4G Data originally because of its location near my home office. This week Outlook stopped sending emails to my PC so I called again for help. Mike was so generous with his time, solved my problem and didnt charge me even though he spent additional time explaining about related issues with my computer and what to expect next. Very professional.

They boast they specialize in Apple/MAC products which shouldve been my first clue NOT to try them for my HP Envy Touchscreen Laptop. I did b/c I passed them en route to work and that convenience has cost me. I went in and showed them the issue I was having with my screen glitching, they did a verbal troubleshoot, composed an estimate and took my deposit and laptop. A month went by and every time Id call, in short they were always waiting on parts when in reality, they had no idea how to fix the problem and was just shooting darts until one stuck (at my expense of course)! Well, once they thought one stuck and after me applying pressure b/c I needed my laptop back, especially before a major surgery that would have me down for several weeks, I was allowed to pick it up. It no longer had the original issue but a new, equally aggravating issue. I dropped it back off, ultimately had surgery, so I sent my son to pick it up for me due to my lack of mobility. When I finally turned it on, IT STILL WASNT FIXED! I called several times at different times of the day intentionally; no answer. I left several messages, NEVER call back which was strange b/c theyd always returned my calls before. They had my money and was done with me. My laptop is still not working right! Even worse, they replaced the screen (for whatever reason) and now theres a crack running across the top! Worst decision I couldve made regarding my laptop. STAY AWAY!
As a small business owner whereby my laptop is my lively hood, my key board went out on me and those guys were AWESOME at fixing it within 72 hrs (it took a bit longer to get the part from Lenovo)the machine is working fine and no issuesthey were very attentive to my needs ..... moving forward, i will use them exclusively and refer anyone i know with PC issues to them .....give them a chance!Best Buy promised 2 to 4 weeks ! what a joke !!!!
Im giving them one star because the review wont post without selecting at least one! My preference would be zero stars.I’ve had four encounters with these folks: two acceptable and two horrible! The latest involved a networking problem that they claimed was being caused by malware on my computer. They ran their “super diagnostic” and wiped out several years of utilities that I paid for and have been using just fine on three computers. All that and they didn’t solve the problem that brought me into their store in the first place. My computer still wouldn’t connect when I brought it home.I called them and got only a “song & dance” runaround. I thought seriously about stopping payment on the $200 charge they levied for their “disc cleaning,” but decided I really don’t want to have any further contact with them. I solved my own problem – no thanks to 4G Data – and worked a week getting my computer back to where it was before they ‘trashed’ it. Now I’m warning the world to beware!If you read their customer comments it seems clear that 4G Data is interested in the lucrative corporate accounts. They treat their walk-in customers mostly as an unwelcome interruption. I suspect they are pricing their services in such a way as to discourage those “pain-in-the-neck” walk-in problems from disturbing them. They have lots of competitors with good reputations. Just Google “Palm Harbor computer service companies.”It should be interesting to see if them leave this review on the web. I’m sure Yelp will.

This is the last place u should get anything fixed at. Took hours longer than the time they told me it would take and are overpriced. Would give them zero stars but unfortunately u have to give one. My best advice to anyone is to go elsewhere!!!!
I own a 4 yr old Sony Laptop with specialty software critical for my work. Last computer repair store wanted $60 for me to drop off, took 3 days and had minimal results (told me to buy new). On a recommendation, I called 4G Data, explained my issues of shutting down / slow connection / etc., I thought maybe it needed to be wiped clean or time to buy new....they said to bring it in and they would evaluate it. Dropped it off at 6:30pm on Tues, phoned by 4G on Wed am with options first to clone, clean up and go from there versus major changes or buying new. They fixed it at minimal cost and ready to go for pickup on Thursday. It runs fast and I saved money & time. They were very professional and efficient (follow-up phone call next day). For the computer illiterate like me its great to have someone I could trust handle my problem and fix it with genuine concern. Highly recommend.
I don’t recommend this place for your technology at all, my PC was at 4g store about 6 months ago and since then has been a nightmare, I took the pc to another professional service and they informed that instead of a memory install or upgrade they did a downgrade, I don’t understand much of technology but they explained to my husband he knows more about all this stuffs. Now I can work with my PC again.
When my old desktop ran out of hard disk space, I took it to 4G Data. They cloned my old hard drive onto a much bigger drive and everything worked flawlessly. It took 4G Data less than a day to complete the upgrade and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!P.S. The technician, Rick, was a superstar.

Professional staff that kept me informed of the repair progress & quickly got my computer up & running the same day the parts arrived.
Brought our computer in because it would not start up. Charged diagnostic fee of $49 but told that money would go toward the repair. 4G called and stated computer started up fine for them. Picked up computer and took home, and the computer would not start up. Took computer back to 4G a week later and told them to try again. Did not hear back for a week. Called to check status, and told by owner that employee did not log in my visit, so the computer had been sitting there not being worked on. Owner promptly called back and computer was fixed within 1 day of call. Received bill and the diagnosis fee was not applied to final bill as I was told initially. Employee told me that is not their policy. Funny, that the owner makes a conflicting statement in these reviews, that Diagnostic fee Is applied to the work done on your computer. Gave 2 stars because they did jump on issue immediately after initial misunderstanding and the computer works fine. From all the computer places i’ve been this is the worst! I didn’t listened my friend and former customer of 4G,now I understand what my friend told me, the problem here it’s the management, prices and customer practice,I will never comeback here. They have no idea about what it takes to run a technology business,avoid this place if you can.
Avoid these guys and find someone who is focused on providing quality service and building repeat business.My laptop was not booting. So, I went through the process of removing the battery, removing individual sticks of ram all while trying a power button reset each time. As a last ditch effort, I took it to these guys, explained in detail what I had already tried, and then asked them to check the CMOS battery.When I picked it up, they said the CMOS battery is not the problem. The work order showed that they only had duplicated the same process that I had done and nothing else. They NEVER opened up the laptop to check the battery.That was a $50 lesson in how NOT to run a business. I can only hope that posting this experience will help someone else make a better choice.

DONT GO HERE TO GET YOUR ITEMS FIXED. Had them fix my screen and a week later it stopped working. Took it back for them to fix and 3 weeks later it stopped working again. Apparently they don’t know what they’re doing so I suggest to go anywhere else but here!!!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED

Have taken all of my laptops there since being told by the geek squad I needed a motherboard when then guys at 4G found it was a faulty battery!!! No computer salesmen, just fair truthful repairs.

Terrible service. They song and danced around how much it will cost and insisted that I had to bring the unit in for them to see. YET EVERYONE else I called all I had to do was give them the model number and what I wanted to have done and I had a quote within 5-10 minutes.THESE PEOPLE JUST WANT TO GET THEIR $49 FROM YOU AND THEN WHEN YOU GET THE ACTUAL COST IT IS TO HIGH BUT THEY STILL GET TO KEEP THE $49THE ARE A SCAM/...........BEWARE
I called for a simple question regarding my home setup they were clueless and I asked for manager or owner they said owner out of town and nothing they can do about it.Will not call again thank you.
I brought our 6 year old iMac in with a problem no one wants to have- it kept arbitrarily restarting. Thankfully, I used Time Machine to back-up valuable files though I was pretty concerned that all our pictures werent in fact saved. 4G took their best shot at it and after few days of troubleshooting found that the video card was possibly under recall from Apple but the HD was checking out fine. Long story short, 4G went to bat for us. Apple said it was this, 4G said no, its probably this and that. After taking the iMac back to the Apple Store 3 or 4 times, Apple finally relented and determined that they couldnt fix it since they didnt really know what was wrong with it. The manager of 4G (on several occasions) worked his way up the management tree of Apple and the end result was that we got a brand new (refurbished) iMac. Granted, this may not be the result for everyone, but they did what any customer probably couldnt have done with Apple and spoke intelligently about a problem and got us a affordable solution. $350 later...new iMac. Im good with that.
My wife and I went over this place to try to get service for our business and they sound clueless and arrogant I see a lot of bad reviews and NOW we understand why, do you a favor and DO NOT drop off your computer here, specially if it is a Mac, just went somewhere else and all good.
I brought in my gaming desktop(that i had just finished building myself) in the hopes they could figure out why it was crashing. I had been troubleshooting its issues since it was built. I told them i tried reinstalling many different drivers including video drivers. They said they installed the latest video driver and stress tested it and it didnt crash. While skepticle I figured they knew what they were doing and paid the 100 dollars to install the latest video drivers.(which bothered me because thats something that i know how to do but if it meant my computer was going to work, i was going to pay $100.) The guy was nice, i had my daughter with me and he brought my computer out to the car to me, Which was nice cause its a huge computer. Well, unfortunately the video driver didnt work cause about 2 hours later the computer crashed. I google searched a few of the error codes and a bunch of arrows pointed to the CPU being faulty. I called them and told them the computer was still crashing and they told me to bring it back in. When i was dropping it off i told them everything that i researched and about the error messages. They told me my cpu was over clocked which i found strange because i never over clocked it and that the cpu seemed to be malfunctioning and that i needed to get a replacement. Once i had a replacement they wanted to charge me another $100 to test the new cpu to make sure it was working properly and that the computer ran fine... after spending 100 on something that didnt fix the problem I was done with the ordeal. I took the thing home, dropped the replacement cpu in and it runs perfect. With that being said, if you know nothing about computers, these guys will take care of you. Would I go back? Probably not. I feel like i did most of the work. All i needed was for them to basically confirm faulty hardware because i didnt have enough experience to make the call myself. That shouldnt cost me $200 after i told them the first time that i had tried the video drivers and then the second time i told them that they should start with the cpu cause it might be faulty. AND IT WAS! so, you can keep my $100, thank you for your services, Im just happy the headache is over and my computer works.

I took my laptop here after its hard drive crashed.. i had a 750gb hard drive and them, trying to take advantage of my youth tried to put a 300gb hard drive in. i found out in the car on the way home and we took it back, they fixed ti for no charge but many drivers are missing and components to my laptop are inusable. for example my fingerprint reader no longer works and my voice commands that came with the computer is gone, i had used them before for a broken laptop screen which they charged $100 for. it was a 19 inch screen i dont know if that is bad or not but i will not go back there again
