I have used Bruce on two separate occasions. But this last time he went so far above & beyond I had to leave him a review.The power was reported off at our Florida property and we called the company that had done the majority of the work in that electric panel. That OTHER company came out and said we needed a new panel immediately because our house was going to burn down if we continued to use it. I knew there was no way this could be right because that OTHER company had just performed a few thousand dollars of work on the property. And if they had mentioned the panel was that bad I certainly would have replaced it at that time. However, it was very suspicious that all of a sudden I needed a new panel just weeks after this company having been out to the property.So while trying to figure out what to do we remembered that we had had Bruce out to install a small junction box when this OTHER company was unavailable to do so. So we called Bruce up and he came out right away and determined it was the main breaker that had gone bad (I feel the OTHER company may have damaged it and not told me during the last round of repairs) and only charged us a few hundred dollars!!! Bruce saved us $4,000! And that is a real savings! Had the OTHER company not just been out to do all that other work then I would have believed them that my house was about to burn down since I had no power and Im not an electrician so what do I know? And of course now I am doubting that I needed all the other work that was sold to me.I was looking at some of the other reviews for Bruce before I left this and there are a couple of negative ones. I would say this. At least make him one of the two or three estimates to get before you decide on a contractor because in my experience he is beyond honest. Easily could have charged me less than the other company and pocketed a few thousand dollars but he didnt. I would guess based on the reviews I see he is just one of the last of the old breed contractors that is out there to do his job and go home. He doesnt do a ton of marketing or have a fancy wrapped van. But he is honest and does his job well. And that is really been my experience with contractors in general that if you find a contractor that has their own business and this part of the older generation, they tend to be a lot more honest and do a better job than the newer guys who do a ton of marketing and have a bunch of guys out in the field that they are not supervising, always trying to upset extra services or parts. Bruce does what you need and goes about his day without hassling you.Anyways I really cant thank him enough. He saved us thousands of dollars and the only thing I can do is leave a couple of reviews out on the internet to thank him. So thats what Im going to do. I really hope you give him a try, and I bet you will call him Your Electrician too!Thank you again Bruce.

Your Electrician arrived promptly for appointment, worked quickly, provided tips, and tidied up. Professional and knowledgeable; will use again.

He came out, looked around and was pleasant enough. He told me that he would send me an estimate in a day or two. After a week, I called him to ask where the estimate was and he said he would call me back in 10 minutes. I waited for hours and never heard back. I guess he doesnt want my business, which is fine, but he could have just told me that instead of making me wait for a week and then ignoring me.I wont call there again.

I thought I needed a main disconnect on my residential panel and Bruce was able to assure me that my panel pre-dated main disconnects and that I was not in code violation. This saved me about $1,200 - he couldve just kept me in the dark and given me something I didnt need. I wouldve been none the wiser. Thank you, Bruce, for being so knowledgeable and honest.

Bruce did an amazing job for a 240 voltage power line I needed for downstairs. It looks great, it works great, he was not just on time but early and also kept the price from the estimate, even though it took him a little bit longer. I highly recommend him and will use him for all of my electrical work in the future. He also arrived with a helper which certainly helped to get this job done much faster.

I would like to thank whoever drives your service vehicle for causing me to slam on my brakes at 60 mph when he decided to make a u-turn on US 19 directly in front of me.The kicker is, there was only one car behind me that he would have had to wait for vs cutting in front of me while towing a MASSIVE TRAILER. Thanks for putting my daughter and I at risk, for no reason. Not the local minded electrician Ill call when I need service.

We called for an estimate, and told him wed have to think about it and call back. A week later he just shows up and is knocking loudly on the door. I open the door and says, Whats the problem? He says he has an appointment at 1pm and is here early to do the work. I told him there must have been a misunderstanding, and there was no appointment set. All of the foregoing would be ok, and no cause for a review. But, he then says, Youd better be careful. When you answered the door like that, I almost took a swing on you. I then politely told him, Youd better leave now and began walking back into my house. He then said, F--- you! I turned around to look at him without saying a word. He then said again, F--- you! He then walked away. If thats the kind of guy you want to work with, then this is the electrician for you!

Im not quite sure how Bruce, Your Electrician, doesnt have more ratings because he was phenomenal. We had an unfinished kitchen lighting project that was started by what turned out to be an unlicensed handyman who flaked on the job. Bruce was able to come to our house the day after I called him to take a look at everything and began working just a few days later. He and his helper did an excellent job, especially since they were having to correct a mess of a job. The handyman had really banged up the can lights we wanted installed but Bruce found a way to fix it. He was honest and didnt try conning us out of a couple extra bucks for new lighting. Prompt, professional, easy going, and hard working. It was a pleasure having him in our home and hell be back next week to do the lighting in our bathroom!
