I had my Jeep Compass detailed by Pelican and even after a storm, the car shines like the day I bought it (maybe even a little shinier)! Very thorough detailing. Will definitely recommend.

I got the Ultimate Wash and my car has never looked and felt so clean! Every piece of dirt/sand/etc that was on the floor mats of my car was gone. It looked like a brand new car. They also did this faster than I expected. I definitely will be coming back with my other car!!

Use at your own risk!Took a brand new Chevy equinox for a car wash at the Palm Harbor location on US19N After leaving the car wash noticed a large crack in the front windshield.Went back and explained that the crack was not present prior to the car wash.Multiple phone calls to the local manager multiple phone calls to the regional manager Have gone unanswered. .I have no doubt that this was not malicious, accidents happen but it would be nice if pelican took ownership of the incident and worked with me to replace my windshield.If and when they decide to address the windshield with me I will be more than happy to amend my review.9/12/21;It did take awhile, about 4 weeks and multiple phone calls, but the owners kept their word and replaced the windshield. Star rating updated accordingly

I called ahead last week and was told a synthetic oil change is $50, plus free wash. This and friend’s suggestions had me chose this place.The staff were very friendly and the oil change was fast. BUT I was told they are doing away with the free car wash as they are under new ownership get too busy to offer this service. They did extend this to me and I was grateful.Then I go to pay after the car is done, granted the prices are posted and I did not see them as I went in with expectations, and it’s $75 tax included. This was quite a surprise. The manager or senior was called in and he did do a $10 discount, but I was just caught way off guard.Again, everyone was nice and professional, and the manager or senior (not sure who he was) did work to make it up, just bummed I did my due diligence before coming and got the wrong information. So I am posting pictures of prices with this.

For the Ultimate wash that cost be $40 I was disappointed with the outcome. Interior was sloppy dont and spots not cleaned. Vacuum was mediocre the hatchback of the SUV was never opened and wiped down still dirty same with passenger rear doors. The outside was not completely dried off leaving water spots. After saying something to the guy that waved me over he looked at me like yeah and got no response from him but just a look. I just left but will not be back waster of my time and money

I had my black Tahoe detailed. The specialist that they sent out was professional and did an amazing job on the SUV. I would definitely recommend them.

Very thorough interior cleaning. I am pretty particular about my vehicles but these guys did not disappoint.

Its a very clean place and the employees are very good with vaccuming and cleaning the inside of the car. Their prices are reasonable. You also dont wait top long for your car to be taken.

Their mechanic service I think is less well-known (as most people go there for a car wash), but it’s great! So friendly, prompt and professional and at a great rate. I have had a few different things done on my car there and was very happy with my service. The car wash itself is great, too!

I am very surprised at my recent visit to pelican car wash in Palm Harbor. Usually I have no issues that arise during service at this location. However, today I was hit With a plethora of issues, none ending in a satisfactory resolution. I have four vehicles that I bring to the Palm Harbor location of pelican car wash first services. All my vehicles are detailed at this location, to also receive oil changes from this location, I even have used other services at this location to include new headliner put in my truck, and a half my truck windows retinted. Needless to say I have been a very loyal and regular customer a Pelican car wash since coming here from Hawaii in 2016.Yesterday February 16, 2021 I brought my Honda accord to have the “ultimate” (one of the selections) for car detailing done. The end result of that wash was I had to point out several things that needed to be redone, and the manager advise one of the employees to return the vehicle through the car wash and start again. After 2.5 hours at this location the vehicle was done at a mediocre quality. Today February 17, 2021 I returned with my Dodge charger to get another detail service also the “ultimate” done on this vehicle. Not to mention that back in December 2020 when I had my oil changed and the Dodge charger at this location they give you a free car wash with your oil change, they forgot to put my floor mats back in my vehicle when I called they said to remind them and that at the next visit they would hold them and put them back in my vehicle for me.Needless to say, right off the bat they did not have my floor mats to be able to put them back in my car. Then the car goes through the Touch free car wash and then brought to the front for them to start detailing it. One of the employees holds up the rag which indicates that your vehicle is complete. I walked over to the vehicle show them where there was still dirt visible, The employee wiped down that area and then asked if I had my ticket, I then proceeded to show her for more locations where there was dirt on the vehicle, to include the inside door jams the crevices of the trunk where there was also leaves from a tree.After showing them the issues that still needed to be addressed for my vehicle to be clean she then told me that if I want in my car re-washed it would be $29.99. First of all I just paid for my car to be detailed I shouldn’t have to pay for them to rewash it because they didn’t do a good job in the first place. Second of all when they say that they’re going to vacuum and wipe down everything in your car they should do is they advertise this is the first time that I have left the pelican car wash in Palm Harbor without them fixing the issues satisfactory. This is no way to treat customers, especially customers who are loyal and bring four vehicles to your location for your services.Today, I am one unhappy customer. And as the rule of thumb goes one unhappy customer is likely to towel between 10 and 15 other people about the unsatisfactory event that took place, and thanks to modern technology when they are really upset like I am today my reach is much further because of social media, and technology.I don’t know what went wrong today at this location, but they need to pull it together with their customer service this is unacceptable especially in times where small businesses should be supported, but it makes it hard to support them when you get service like this

The car wash was great! I got an oil change and my car wash all at once and it was perfect. They really detailed my car, even the air vents are pristine! I definitely recommend this car wash. Every other one I have tried there’s no personal touch that the employees give you with their care to your vehicle.

I have been trying to call for a week to schedule the best possible package you have on 2 vehicles. Nobody has answered the phone on at least 20 calls at different times of the day. The voicemail for Christie is full and I cannot leave a message. I will take my business elsewhere. I live .5 miles away and I was hoping to support local business. What a Shame!!!

Have been using Pelican for the last 3 years with exceptional service not today though… paid for an ultimate and had to ask for the dash, doors and tires to be done which are all included… very disappointed.

I had an oil changed. Great price great service and they also replaced my windshield wipers. 2002 GMC. They also give you a free car wash. Out the door price below $75.00 not including a tip which is optional.

Reasonable pricing. Staff is very thorough and courteous.

I wanted the inside done. So I had to buy the package that cleans my trunk. I pay then tip another $10.00. They did not clean the backseat AT ALL. They did not lift the mats in the front or back. I had to ask them to do it again. I opened the trunk guess not done. Oh well after I explained what I paid for. It was done and looked good. I did not get my choice of air freshener that also came with the deal. I got home looked at my windshield and it looked like a piece of thread from the wipes. Its a damn scratch. So take it or leave it. But dont take your eyes off your vehicle. I thought it would be my new place.

Pelican is the place to go! If you need a quick oil change and a car wash, they are always efficient. The staff at Pelican is always friendly and go above and beyond to help their customers. Ive left me truck here overnight (on accident, didnt know they closed early that day) and felt completely comfortable that all my belonging were safe.

I drive south from Tarpon Springs just to get the 5 star everything service and found myself completely disappointed my last visit, the entire car interior/exterior was the worst job Ive ever received and I tipped 💲7, that wont happen again 😖

My cleaning took several hours longer than promised, but they did a really good job.

I take my truck to get washed at-least once a week. I get the ultimate every time. This time I brought my truck and the wife’s car with me. Paid 70$ And I’ve never been more disappointed. Looks like they just took a hose to the car and pushed it through the blower. Very understaffed one guy drying. The outside was just as bad as the inside. Dust on my center column and shifter. Bottom of my door panels on the outside weren’t even washed. My wife’s car is even worse, I usually go to coachman car wash or the main st car wash in Dunedin. Never had a issue. Came here on a recommendation. Won’t be back, I’d recommend going anywhere else but here.

I always pay for a full-service car wash. They are constantly understaffed and and cut corners. You do not get a full service. They just try and rush you out. Will not go back.

Had brakes replaced on front and back. Work was done quickly while I waited. Office staff was pleasant. Waiting room clean. Tony was honest with repairs needed and estimate. Hard to find honest, reliable repair shop. Thanks!Only downside was when one customer came in and sat down WITHOUT a mask. He was asked to put one on, but refused. Needless to say, waiting room emptied out into the cold weather. Some people are extremely inconsiderate! Privilege?

Pelican really provided great service for me. I got the Ultimate Wash and I could really tell a huge difference in the cleanliness of my car.The inside was vacuumed thoroughly, and the windows were very clean. They armoralled the tires and dash. The outside was fully hand-dried. They even used those little air compressor blowers to get the water out of the door and trunk jams and behind the side mirrors.Definitely got the feel of a service oriented establishment with lots of experience.

They do a good job. Dont like that they eliminated the $2 coupon.

Fast and efficient service, and friendly staff. I went in for a deluxe wash and while there the manager noticed a deep scratch in my car door that Id been avoiding due to worry about it being too expensive to fix. They offered to buff out for a very reasonable price. It was too good of an offer to refuse, and 20 minutes later my car looked like new again! Couldnt be happier with the service and result!

This was definitely not worth my money. Windows were terrible when leaving. Had to point out crumbs on the inside and water marks on the outside. Will not use again.

I purchased an oil change which came with a complimentary interior/exterior car wash. I expected a cursory wash, but was pleased to find a complete wash and dry including people to dry my car.I was very pleased and will go there again!

Since this operation was sold new owners have no clue what they are doing. Way understaffed and horribly slow. 90 minutes for a car wash is much too long. Certainly not what it used to be, I’m looking for a new place

Be aware if your gift card for a car wash expires this business doesn’t take it! This is not right, I understand a coupon being expired but a gift card? My gift card expired 20 days ago.

Took almost an hour, employees more interested in upsetting a monthly plan for a commission. Not worth it at all.

We ended up having to wait 45 minutes for a basic wash. Not acceptable in my book.

Horrible experience!! Was there for 2.5 hours for an oil change and the ultimate wash. The inside of my car was done very poorly. The only interior part of my car that was done was the driver side. My husband paid extra to have all the mats cleaned, again the only one done was the driver side. Very very unhappy! We will not be back!!

Pelican washed my car and they did an excellent job. They took the extra time to really get the interior clean. I’ve gone to other car washes in the past and when I got my car back I could tell it was a rushed job. I felt like the staff at pelican took the extra time to ensure that the customer would be happy with the product. I will be back!

Don’t go here! Unethical business that used bait and switch tactics on my wife and me. I called this business to ask what the price was for a synthetic oil change for our specific year, make and model of car. The manager quoted me a price of $69. My wife drove in there about 20 minutes later and asked for a synthetic oil change and the manager quoted her a price of $79. She informed him that I was quoted a price of $69 and after some back and forth discussion he agreed to the $69 price. He then looks under the hood and has a discussion with another worker speaking in a foreign language so my wife can’t tell what they’re saying and brings her an invoice with an extra charge of $16 saying that it needs 7 quarts of oil, not 5. That was a blatant lie, her car is a 4 cylinder that only uses 5 quarts. That was enough for her, she left. I am now wondering if they are that dishonest about pricing, what else are they doing? How would we know if they gave us basic oil instead of synthetic oil? Stay away from this place.

Went here and got the ultimate car wash (interior and exterior). The car wasn’t vacuumed at all, dirt all over the dashboard and buttons that wasn’t even there when I drove in. Exterior of the car was still extremely dirty. They used a cleaner on the interior that made my BLACK interior turn to a white oily and stick film. I ended up going home and cleaning it myself and cleaning up after them. NOT HAPPY AND WILL NEVER GO BACK. DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

They are very good! They take their time and do a great job. Yes, sometimes a few things are missed, but thats being human. When pointing out whats missed or could be done a bit better, they quickly do that.They are packed which should give you a good idea if how they are. Take a look at the car they clean - people bring their BMWs, Mercedes, Lexus, and others here.I had my tint done by them and they did an excellent job. I highly recommend!

I bought the $20 Super Wash today (5/16/19) and was very pleased with the results. I had just returned from a trip to Cocoa Beach and my car was covered with dead bugs. They were able to remove all the bugs and debris and it looks great. It was worth the extra $$$. The inside looks great too.

Never again will I use Pelican Car Wash. Today I came in and purchased the top of the line carwash at $28.00 which includes armor all the entire vehicle . They waved me over quickly and I thought that this was super fast service. Needless to say they did no armor all on any of my jeeps trim. When I go to Coachman Carwash they always do it and it cost less than Pelican. When I told the attendant that my jeep hadnt been armor all he shrugged his shoulders. I said this is the first time Ive ever had this happened considering I paid $28.00. He just walked away and made up my mind right there I would never comeback and make sure I communicate to all my friends what a substandard carwash Pelican is. Never again. Total ripoff. Back in the late 90s and early 2000s this was a good place. Not anymore . Good Bye Pelican Carwash.

They do a quality job just not fast as described. Two people ahead of me and it took over an hour. Dont try to get it done on your lunch break.

Awesome job on the headlight renewal. I paid $50 for them to make my old yellow headlights look brand new again. Its been 6 months, and they are just as clear and new looking. Car wash was just average, not bad, not great.

I didnt expect that my car would be treated like that. If you have a new, beautiful car avoid this place they could make your car dirty as they did to mine. Maybe, the people who work there just dont care about the quality of the job they do because they have to share their tips with everyone. The owners should consider it and change the rule!

Paid for oil change, vacuum and wash. Oils change was pretty quick. Car was was equivalent to a gas station car wash. Vacuum was terrible. When I was ready to leave. I noticed that they didn’t remove the carpets . There was sand everywhere still. Spoke with an employee and he blamed my carpet for the vacuum not working properly to it’s full potential. They vacuum like they don’t really care about your car and he put the car mats on top of my car seat and continued to vacuum, causing any dirt from under the carpet to go on the actual car seat. I gave them 1 start because I wouldn’t want anyone else to come here with the illusion that “quality” actually matters to them. It seems like they prefer “quantity” over quality.

Car wash is hit or miss on service. But more good than bad( 4 out of 5), Just had one time that was a bad experience. The interior wasnt done as well as expected, but overall was worth the price.

They do a great job, however, the lady behind the counter has no personality! She never smiled, never asked “how are you today”, never thanked us for our business! Doesn’t make me want to go back....you HAVE to understand customer service in order for you to retain repeat business!!! I did not feel like a valued customer. I’ve been there more than a few times....live close by....I will drive farther and spend my money elsewhere.
