Where do I start, 600+ miles away from home, flat tire, cant get my spare down with the winch, luckily walked into Jim Whaleys for help, they fixed my issue, got me back home safe. We were on our way to Dothan from Birmingham when we had a low tire warning. I pulled in and was immediately assisted - they ultimately had to remove the tire from the rim and reinstall to check for leaks. There was no charge levied for their assistance.We appreciate the young men there that helped us out.

Mitch and his crew at Jim Whaley Tires in Ozark is rated beyond any other vehicle maintenance center I have ever dealt with. I drive from South Dothan to Ozark for all of my vehicle’s maintenance because of their hard work, time management, and most of all, their customer satisfaction. I’ve attempted to find Dothan facilities that would save me the time and drive, but I didn’t find any that compare.Today I sat in the lobby and waited for my vehicle (which I rarely do) and it seemed like 80-90% of people who entered were kindly greeted by name. Those who weren’t greeted by name were kindly greeted with the same respect.The facility gets busy and sometimes overwhelming, looking from the outside in, but you never see the employees frantic or stressful. They are always moving calmly and with a positive attitude. This facility will have my business for years to come.

I really needed help with a tire going flat for a custom truck. Went to Whaley Tires and with out pause they took the tire and wheel back and went to work. I really appreciated their professionalism, which matters to me when it comes down to getting it right the first time. Thank you Guys.

The guys at Jim Whaleys helped me out a great deal. I was on my way out of town and had a wheel hub all the sudden going bad. From another company, I had an outrageous price quote of over $600. Whaleys did it for way less than half, and had the part on hand. The ONLY complaint I would have would be the wait time (I waited in their lobby). To be fair, they were super busy so in spite of all that, they got me in and out in a timely manner. The guys working behind the counter, and out in the shop, made me good show. I definitely recommend them, and theyll get more of my business.

Was a little surprised at the cost of a tune-up.

I took my car in to get some routine maintenance done (tires rotated/balanced, oil change). I picked up my car and asked if everything looked ok because I had changed my brakes and rotors the day before. They said no issues, everything looked good. A few days later I hear a good bit of rattling coming from my back left tire. I pull over to inspect only to realize all 6 nuts on my spacer bolts were sitting off so there was nothing holding my tire on. I was very fortunate my tire didn’t come off going 70 MPH on the interstate. I called this shop and told them what happened, I was quite angry that a “professional” shop made this mistake and the only thing the employee said was “sorry to hear that, that’s those spacers”. I appreciate your concern. That will be the last time I use Jim Whaleys shop.

Very disappointed in the way my wife was treated today. Had a tire that needed a small hole made by a brad nail patched. She was told the tire was not repairable and they tried to sell her a tire. Dont go here, not the first time they have not done my family right. (Update to the Whaley reply)Going to double check but fairly sure the tire was made in 2016. So tire is 4 years old NOT 7 years old. (Update on tire age) manufacturered the 12th week of 2016.

I was on my way up to North Carolina last Saturday to visit family when my tire busted on me, my wife called this shop and let me say these are some of the nicest most dependable people you ever deal with . They guaranteed my tire ( special size and tread needed) would be there Monday and it was there . I got my car towed to them and within less than 10 minutes of being there they started working on my car. And they stuck with the price they guaranteed over the phone. From the time you walk in until the time you leave you feel welcomed, the atmosphere was positive and you can tell the people that work there love what they do and take pride in there work . Id give these guys a 10 if Google had that many stars to give.

I took my car here so they could check my brakes. One of the mechanics just drove my car down the street and declared that it must have been wet. Thats why it was squealing. He didnt look at my brakes or rotors. I took it to a real mechanic at Midas. My brakes were nonexistent. And my rotors needed to be replaced.

Friendly service. Have always done great work on my vehicle. New set of tires, oil & filter changed, ordered & installed a new latch to rear door.

Was looking to get brakepads and rotors changed on my car.Guy told me i needed new calipers and a master cylinder, estimated me at 1200 dollars. I told him i couldnt afford it and asked how much for just rotors and pads, they refused to doing saying it would be unsafe, so i went straight to autozone and got the pads and rotors and added some brake fluid and realized the didnt even put my brake fluid cap back on, left it sitting on my windshield. Replaced the pads and rotors myself and i have no problem lights on in my car, runs fine.Wouldnt recommend going here. Not helpful people, wanna overcharge you snd force you to buy things you dont need, and cant even put your caps back on.

Came in to get 4 new tires and oil changed. I was Quickly helped and scheduled the services around 10:55am. Told them I was going to wait and I was told it wouldnt take too long. Its now 2:30pm, 30 mins after closing, and Im still waiting!

My car needed JUST an alignment. They insisted the car needed brand new tires. But I’m the owner, the owner should know what the car needs. But they got me with 2 tires. But now I’m at Roy’s tires. They are taking care of what should have been done in the first place.

Exceptional customer service all around. We simply needed the breaking system examined, and a quote on labor. There was no run around, price gouging, or made up replacements. When all was said and done we decided to hire their labor. Absolutely no regrets.

I was in Jim Whaley in Ozark Alabama on October 10th 2019 to have rear brakes put on my car and I also asked him to check the front brakes because I thought I heard them roaring so Im in there for two hours and I called ahead and they told me it would only take 1 hour when I got there there was no one else waiting but I still waited two hours so after 2 hours I drive from Ozark Alabama to Newton Alabama and I hear a funny noise coming from the front brakes so I call my husband to tell him what I heard and he said to bring it to him when he got off of work and he would see what was wrong he also heard the noise I called Jim Whaley back and they said to bring it back the next day which would be October 11th I go up there around one on October 11th and they have it for over an hour before anybody says anything to me and the mechanic or Tech comes into the lobby at least seven people are sitting and literally confronts me about the noise that I heard talking very rudely and calling me a liar in front of a whole Lobby full of people I have horrible anxiety and almost had an attack because of the way he talked to me after another 30 minutes they tell me that the drum on the back is Warped which I was told was fixed the day before but this time they said they fixed it but the front had a stud broken so I asked them to go ahead and repair that was quoted $20 but after another 30 minutes of waiting and I go to pay its almost 40 not to mention the work they did the day before they quoted my husband 80 and it was almost 90 I have never been talked to the way that Tire Tech talk to me I will never go in there again if I could give a 0 star rate I would

Did my brakes and tires in a perfect amount of time

They left the windows down in my car when it was raining really bad my whoils back floor board was soaked as well as the front two seats and floors. My cup holder was filled with water. All thet said was opps. Two days after geting the car back and it drying out it stoped running ( electrical problems) it ran fine when they got it to fix two window motors and wiper switch. Had to buy new car because my son didnt have time to wait to get it fixed. Than tey tell me my van needs a new control arm ($600) found someone else to replace it for $150 and that wasnt even the problem it was the balljoint they dont know what they are doing in Ozark. Will not go back to them.

I will never do business there. When I stopped by I was in business casual attire because I had just finished work. These people quoted me 27.99 per spark plug for a V6 Nissan Maxima and 220.00 labor. The spark plugs were supposed to be from Oreileys. The most expensive plug Oreileys sell is 14.99. Even a person with no mechanical inclination knows a 100 percent markup. I was thinking of having them do all my mechanic work. NOT ANYMORE!!!

We had car problems coming home from out of town and they fit us in even though they were very busy. They determined the problem, fixed it and didn’t overcharge us. They also said they would stay after closing until the problem was fixed. They were very nice. I highly recommend this place!

The shop will correct mistakes that I have seen, there is a level of integrity in management. Although a few mistakes were made, they have since been fixed. The fact that the company makes it a point to correct flaws makes up for my undesirable situation.

Went in for a balance. They broke 2 clips off the tire cover. The guy said hed replace them cause he thought i was some dumb woman. When i went to pay the bill i said show me these clips you put on to replace the ones that broke. The guy then said there arent any. I said well i want it written on the reciept that you broke two clips. He didnt wanta be responsible for that so he said no charge. The point is his employees need to be more carefulWont ever return
