Re: Service Center(Note, I drove down from Evansville specifically for this appointment)A waste of time, money, gasNo record of my appointment, let alone the reason for my appointment. (Thank goodness I took a screenshot of my appointment confirmation)A free multipoint inspection by a tech was substituted for the pricey Pre-purchase inspection by a Toyota mechanic that I was after. Free or not, it has the Toyota name on it, so shouldnt it be thorough? One glaring omission from the inspection form has me wondering how much else was omitted, or if they spent more time checking all the green boxes on the inspection form than they did checking/lubing all the actual inspection points on the car.The above-mentioned inspection was free with my purchase of tire rotation and balancing, butTHE TIRES WERE NOT BALANCED.Balancing was recommended due to mild vibration at 65+mph. During the trip back to Evansville, severe vibration kicked in at 45-50 mph. My first thought was uneven tire wear, yet shouldnt this have been mentioned?Brought car into an Evansville shop yesterday for tire evaluation. Tires are fine, no uneven wear. Next step, check balance. I honestly expected the balance to be ok as well. Again, in case you missed it the first time, I paid Don Moore for rotation AND balancing. The tires were rotated, but NOT BALANCED.My car is now vibration-free, with shiny new silver weights.I paid twice for tire balancing, but received service only once.As for the disappointing free multipoint inspection, should I just chalk it up to you get what you pay for? No. I paid with my time and gas, not to mention trust in the Toyota name.My first clue should have been appointment availability. Don Moores online scheduling system had next-day appointments available, while the earliest available appointments for Kenny Kents Toyota service center were 6 weeks out. Duh.

My 22 year old son was buying his first car. As a parent and having bought many cars before, I was not looking forward to the process at all. My husband and I have had not so good past experiences and were pretty guarded. At first just mom and son were there on Saturday and they let us take the car home to make sure it was what we wanted. Monday, lucky them, they got both parents returning to get down to the details. Nathan was our salesperson and Colton reviewed the financing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Their knowledge, patience, attention to detail and professionalism come highly recommended by all of us!! They turned it into one of the best experiences we have ever had, went that extra mile to make us all at ease and stayed over their time to see we were taken care of! We came from Evansville and it was definitely worth the time to drive to Owensboro. If you need a new or used car, this is where you need to be!

Justin and all the Team made thing easy, I was in and out in 70 minutes with my new car.No hidden fees. Very trustworthy business. I highly recommend going there first, you wont have to go anywhere else .The only issue that disturbed me was the fact I was forced to buy a Warranty on a car that supposedly was under warranty. It added $2500 to my cost.Which increased my payment. Not sure if this is standard practice but should have been told why the warranty was not included.

Took my my friend in with his Toyota Corolla in for two recalls, Seat belt harness, and computer update for transmission. While there I had them go ahead and do an oil change and front-end alignment. With zero battery issues. 7/9Picked the vehicle up according to the checklist everything else was fine. 7/10The following day car would not start, and had to jump the vehicle 7/11Monday again had to jump start the car, took it back to Don Moore, showed them the check list, the Service manager, Cody, told me us it had a faulty battery and changed the check mark from good to replace (two different color inks still have the check list) and refused to admit fault or take responsibility for the “all of a sudden” bad battery.When we dropped the vehicle off the odometer read 88563, when we picked it up 7/10 it had 88587, they had “test driven” it 24 miles. I had told him to write down the mileage, good thing I did, unfortunately Don Moore, Cody, Colton have zero understanding of the word integrity.

The Service manager, Cody Barr,  told me I had a faulty battery. I showed him how the check mark on my paperwork was changed from from good to replace, and he refused to admit fault or take responsibility for the “all of a sudden” bad battery.On an additional note, when I dropped my vehicle off the odometer read 88563. When I picked it up 7/10 it had 88587 miles, Toyota had “test driven” my vehicle for 24 miles.I felt that speaking with Cody was a waste of time, he lacked any customer service skills. Then, I reached out to Colton, the general manager of Don Moore, but apparently he couldn’t be bothered due to his lack of integrity. What gets me is that the maintenance checklist has two pen markings regarding the battery performance, good as well as replace. If you’re in Owensboro the drive to the next closest dealership will be well worth it!!!

On 8/12/2019 I called to schedule an oil change and they were able to get me in that morning. I was thrilled, so convenient! I arranged for someone to pick me up from the Toyota location. I drove my car up to the service area and checked in and handed in my keys. I was asked about my oil change and how much extra a tire rotation would be, they told me the exact amount and I agreed and we parted ways.About 30 minutes later I was called and was told that my back windshield wiper needed replacing and my cabin filter and another filter both needed changing. I asked how much would the entire service I was getting cost including my tire rotation and oils change, I was told it would be $105 after all services. I said great, go ahead and do all of it. About 20-30 minutes later I get a call to tell me my car was ready for pick up. I said great I’ll be there in a bit. End of conversation.I get there and walk into pay and I am greeted by a man at the front counter with the woman working the register. This was not the one who I was speaking with on the phone. He said here is your bill, these are the services you’ve received and here is your total at $180 and some change. I was appalled! I quickly informed him that the young man I was speaking with on the phone told me that all of my services would be $105 after everything! I would not be paying such an exorbitant difference and that is not at all what I agreed to on the phone. The man went to find the man I had spoke with on the phone.The young man whom I spoke with on the phone walks up to me and I explain the situation and the amount difference between what he had told me on the phone and what he had charged. That is when he told me that I hung up before he could correct himself before because he had misspoken the first amount. This is when I got very upset, first off, the conversation was over, we both had agreed on the amount and we both said bye, that marks the end of a conversation in all scenarios. Second, he obviously had my number and had he called me back I would had declined the other up grades. Third it is rude and unprofessional to blame the customer for his negligence to call me back and fix the mistake that he had just admitted to making.He then took my paper did not say another word and worked at him computer for about 5 minutes and got my bill down to $111.69, which is still not the $105 he had told me. I took it, paid it, we did not speak again. He obviously knew he had made a mistake but did not apologize, or acknowledge it, he just changed the invoice but didn’t even tell me what he was doing, the whole experience was so rude and awkward. I will not be using Don Moore Toyota again.

I would not recommend this place to anyone.They included a very expensive extended warranty to my monthly payment without asking me. They never did show me what my monthly payments would be without the extended warranty.I Very Dishonest company as this was not a mistake.

I was very disappointed today I called about 9:00am had all my information together I had a cosigner sent the information in they didnt never received it, only to find out that they could not give me a used car or a SUV I was very hurt& disappointed at the service I received todayI had to call them back 6:00pm to be told that I needed another co-signer 😣😔😔😔😔. I waited all day 😟 😫Missing out on others deals because I just knew that Don Moore auto company would give me a car today. Oh well thanks. You all have bless day

I bought a new Tacoma at Don Moore a few months back. Steve Mills is the man that sold it to me. I called every place I could think of trying to get it at a lower price. I called St.Louis,Nashville and Louisville.I went to Evansville and Madisonville and no one could beat Steve’s price! Thanks to Steve everything went great buying my new Tacoma!

Called last summer about a vibration in my Tacoma, was told it was normal for the truck & steering wheel to shake??? Finally 3 weeks ago I received a open recall from Toyota on the vibration, took it to Don Moore to get inspected, after a 2 1/2 hour wait, service person Jenny came out & said...my tech only spent 5 minutes looking at it, saw it had u joints replaced, then went to something else??? Why the wait??? She told me she would give me an estimate on repair, I called back 3 hours later, she was at lunch, Danny said he would deliver the message, still no response, call back a week later & talked to Danny, he apologized & said he would give me an estimate, still no response, I waited another week & called back to talk to service department manager, after getting shifted around, finally a lady told me “ he was in a meeting “, later that day someone named Kolton called me & apologized, said he was sorry for the run around, and would call me back with answers the next day??? That was 1 1/2 weeks ago, still no response back, reputations mean a lot in today’s market, this is terrible service, I was looking at buying a newer Tacoma, it won’t be here, pathetic way to do business, full of lies & deceit

The salesman Adam told me they done a 160 point inspection on the vehicle and I felt secure about that because Don Moore has been in business a long time and Id never heard anything negative,but Im from Henderson not Owensboro .My car was used so it came with absolutely No warranty unless I paid 4,000 for about 40,000 miles I believe., So obviously that being so expensive that was out of the question. I really wish I would have taken the time to look over myself because I missed a couple of obvious things wrong with my car just driving home from the lot. I tried to reach Mr.Fulerson manager at the Honda, Don Moore side and told him about the problems right away. He replied after several attempts to reach him and told me that wasnt a concern because it wasnt a safety issue.. They were fast to take my 8,400 dollars when I should have slown everything down and looked real good at the car. I just thought they would have made things right with me and at least ordered me the missing piece for my car and just let me pay them for the missing piece,but No Mr.Fulkerson wouldnt even do that.So when Don Moore says they do a 160 point inspection you better look at it closely because they missed 3 things that I realized driving home.However they are fixing one of the things the car is missing Saturday at no charge. I just regret that it took me so many times to reach those Two men that sold me the car.

I am giving my input based on my fiancees experience, because this company sold her a vehicle with a handful of problems and then she had it sent back in under the warranty to get it fixed and got it back still with the problems. Now she has sent it back in and now they are not willing to attempt to fix her vehicle. I would highly recommend not working with this dealership.

Used car dealer tried to sell a car with over 100,000 miles on it for more than its worth. Then tried to talk my wife into a Pontiac that had even moore miles. Get it! Not worth the drive salesman back tracked so bad we both walked out. Same don moore sales tactics. Sell you something you wouldnt put your daughter in.

Non chalant attitude, almost to the tune of screw you, what will you do customer. confirmed multiple times regarding the availability of theach car with Chad and Arnold, clearly mentioning that Ill be making a 4 HR drive. They confirmed availability and when I showed up they said it sold a day back. They lied to me over phone, when they intact had sold the car. Bait and switch. They did not even bother to apologize. Terrible place with a bunch of sleazy sales people. I know car salesmen are naturally devious, but these people are a special type of scammers. I test drove a car and asked to speak about the price, then I waited for 35 minutes just to see if a price was agreeable. Then they came back with a “well the price listed is the lowest we can go”, which was about $1000 over book value. So I got up toto leave and said “OK, well sometimes we can’t always agree” and intended to leave it at that. Then, after he clearly stated the price was not negotiable, he asked what price I thought was fair. I said “no thanks, you’ve already told me you weren’t negotiating”, promptly thanked him for having me wait for a half hour, and walked out. As he (the pricin manager) stormed off like a child who didn’t get the candy he wanted. This is NOT the first time I have had an experience like this at Don Moore. I will never return after the repeated low level attitude toward customers. Very dissapointed as I do like the Moore family, but not their establishment.

I would not recommend the extended warranty. Car was miss firing. Guess what was not covered under my warranty. Now my VSC light came on and guess what? My extended warranty only goes to 12000 miles. Im at 12389 miles. Now Im lost at what to do. The service guy is supper helpful and is trying to come up with a solution.

Ok this is aimed at the used car part of Don Moore. I came down to look at a vehicle that in the ad in mice type said it had an oil leak. Ok so thats fair and it was stated. When I came down to look at the vehicle they showed me the vehicle and offered to let me drive it. I did and I liked it. Then they start the whole sales speal. This goes on for about 10 minutes. Now here is my complaint. At no time in person did they point out the oil leak. When I decided to look for it my self it was easy to find. She was dropping about a half quart over a 10 minute time iddling time.( side note lost 2 quarts over a 20 minute drive ) so I did buy the vehicle and have it fixed. My issue here is two fold. They did not tell me in person that there was a leak and or how bad it was. Also I paid cash for the vehicle and they still charged me a 480.00 doc fee for a cash deal under 4000 dollars. So buyer beware at this dealer. I know it is used cars however please disclose fully.
