Anthony and his crew did an absolute superb job of trimming my 3 very tall queen palms and 4 large oaks. I’m very pleased with how all the trees look and they did a thorough job of cleaning up after the trimming. Well worth the money and wait. They’re booked pretty far out, but it’s worth it.

Large crew removed a large oak tree that was positioned between vinyl fence and pool enclosure...with no damage. Large limbs were lowered by rope/pulleys and stump was removed with remote controlled machine.Final clean up was good and cost was about $300 under other estimate

Let me start off and say I did shop around looking for both price and type of worked performed (whether they use equipment for every job). Well the name speaks for itself, they climb them just like monkeys. They did arrive a little late which left for some concern, however they were committed to getting the job done in a timely fashion. They are a young crew, who has good work ethics. They were respectful and cleaned up as they went. The techniques the climber used, was what youd expect from guy who knows what he is doing. Also they came recommended from one of my customers who they use for crane work, who also mentioned they are his better customers. So hats off for outstanding work. Anthony you have a good crew and will be calling you for future work and any neighbors needing recommendations. Good luck getting that truck figured out.

Tree Monkeys were actually recommended by a friend of ours that runs his own landscaping & tree service who was really booked up, and shorthanded as well. Being in the same business and quoting some of the same jobs, he said they did great work and cleaned up well afterwards. I cant imagine any business getting a better compliment than from another owner/operator in the same line of work. Tree Monkeys certainly lived up to his kind words & recommendation, and have performed a large and smaller job on our property that easily met and exceeded our expectations. I actually had the situational privilege of meeting the husband & wife team on the smaller job who own the company, and cant express enough how accommodating and nice they are. Im a 20 + year professional buyer of goods & services, and they certainly earned my praise, respect, and recommendation for anyone in the market for tree services.

I really wish I was leaving a better review and I had hopes for this company because they were a strong recommendation from a neighbor. I agreed to their contract to trim 2 palms and trim my live oak out front for a total of 250.00. We made a contract on 5/24/2021 and my first appointment was scheduled about a month later in late June. The day they were supposed to show up they never did and later sent an email that no one showed up to work that day and they would reschedule me for a MONTH later on July 22. On July 22nd they didnt show up and called again that night and said theyd be there on the 23rd, and shockingly they didnt show up then either. If you pay with cash there is no additional charge, so I waited around THREE separate days for them to withhold their end of the contract and they have not. I have emailed to terminate the contract and will never consider this company again.Im leaving 2 stars because the office manager Jaime has been extremely kind and professional despite the crew not showing up. Shes tried her hardest to make this right. If she wasnt in this, it would easily be a 1 star review.

Very disappointed. We were quoted promptly and reasonably for some tree removal. Then we were scheduled and confirmed. The day came and no one showed or called. Finally reached office and were told about equipment and personnel problems, so I rescheduled. One week prior to the new appointment I confirmed via email, and was assured we were on that days schedule, but wasn’t given a time. The day of the appointment we didn’t hear anything so I left a message, heard back via text they they were again having equipment & personnel issues and I was asked to reschedule again. I said no, and I’ve contacted another contractor.

Had numerous oak trees trimmed back from two commercial buildings and around the property. Tree Monkeys had the most competitive price and performed the service as promised. Their guys worked throughout the day, even in the rain, to get the work done as agreed. They left the property very clean with no debris left over. Great experience working with Tree Monkeys in Oviedo. They removed a tree for us and ground the stump, as well as trimmed back some large branches from our backyard oak. They were very responsive from the start with someone coming out the same day I requested a quote. Price was fair and workers were quick, efficient, and safe. They also cleaned up after the projects so well that youd never know they had been there. Would definitely recommend and will use again in the future!

They called just before arriving. They identified themselves politely and began gathering their equipment. They quickly cut the palm tree down in the back and removed it and then cut rest of the tree to the stump and picked up all trash. They were trimming our front Oak tree at the same time, cleaning it up, removing extra limbs and I noted to them about cutting the limbs back from the yard as contracted for and they did a great job and any limb that wasnt cut they politely explained to me that one limb couldnt be removed due to the balance of the tree and cleaned up and removed all debris and explained to me if I had any questions or issues to please call the office. They were polite, professional and proficient and I would recommend them to anybody and would use them again. They did a removal for my neighbor and she was very pleased with also and that is why I used them.

Very disappointed. I was cancelled on and rescheduled 3X giving me the same old tired excuse! From my initial call to them in March until now, July, they have been evasive and non-responsive. Each time the day would come and no one showed or called. Just a text stating equipment and personnel problems,(hmmmm #1) so I rescheduled. On the day of the next appointment, they were a now show again! Once again, I heard back via text about their equipment & personnel issues (hmmmm #2) and I was asked to reschedule again. Finally after the third time, today, another no show OR text..(hmmmm #3)! Warning to all,,,my belief is that if your job isnt large enough, or a $ maker for them, theyll have equipment and personnel issues!!

Our laurel oak had run her life cycle. So sad to have to see her go. But these guys were fantastic- I cannot recommend them highly enough. Their crew arrived on schedule- showing up when they said they would be here. They started the work in the morning, and they did not finish until she was down.The job took about 6 to 8 hours- which amazes me as I thought it would be a couple days. More impressive yet is they cleaned everything when they left - the yard looks better than when they got here honestly!This crew earned every penny, and they were reasonably and competitively priced to boot. More like Tree Surgeons. We had a 50ft Oak that had been planted too close (16) to our house. Had considered just trimming, but it needed to be removed. Anthony was very professional and competitive with his quote. The crew showed up next day and very carefully brought this tree down branch by branch. They took extra care to make sure no damage occurred to our property. Afterward, JoJo cut a nice section of the trunk as a keepsake for our daughter, as she loved to climb in this tree (Thanks!!). Excellent from initial contact to clean up. Very professional operation. Workers were highly competent, courteous and hard working. Crew invited discussion about our specific needs and how those could best be met to our full satisfaction. They responded willingly and completely to any and all special requests we made as work proceeded, even those perhaps a bit finicky on our part. Sufficient number and well defined responsibilities for workers so job was done thoroughly and rapidly. Loved their attitude of Were not done until you are completely satisfied. They more than met our expectations and we highly recommend them to others who want exceptional work at a fair price.

The men did a good job removing a tree, but paid extra for stump removal and only part of it was removed. After several calls to Tree Monkey, and no return calls, I had to hire someone else. I did not double check their work, which I should have done~had plants around the tree, so didnt see the results. DOUBLE CHECK THEIR WORK. From a few other people, hear the owner is difficult to work with & they werent surprised he didnt return my calls.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Tree Monkeys came to trim my neighbors tree and I asked him to cut 1 branch off my tree. I said he could just let it drop in the driveway and I would cut it up for my fire pit. The price he quoted was good. I had to leave. When I got back, my limb was beautifully cut up for the fire pit in a nice neat stack so I could get in the driveway. The extra mile. Thanks

They removed 2 tall pine trees located closely between my house and my neighbors. They took down the trees without incident. It was quite an operation to witness. The crew was very knowledgeable, polite and courteous. They cleaned up the entire area when they were finished. I highly recommend them.

They did a decent job, but just make sure that everything on the quote is itemized. Our original job was to have one big tree taken down and have the stump ground up and then a cluster of three trees and have their stumps ground up. The quote was broken down into two different costs one cost for the big tree and stump grind and then another cost for the three trees and stumps ground. It was a decent enough price and the guy told me it would take about 4 hours for the total job. On the first day they came out and took down the big tree and ground up the stump then they gave me some story that they had to go to another persons job because of some reason. So then finally when they came back a few days later they took down the other three trees and informed me that it would be yet another day before the stump guy could come out and take care of the three leftover stumps to be ground down. well during this time we decided that we did not want to have people at our house again for a third day and we called them and said hey go ahead and just leave the stumps please adjust the quote so we can write you a check. The Woman on the phone told me that if the stump grinding was actually separate as a cost line item she would just remove it and adjust the amount right then in there but she said she had to talk to the owner and get back to me in a couple of days because it wasnt a separate line item. Couple of days later she called and told me that the owner told her that they already quoted us a really good price and that there would be no change in the original quoted amount. I informed her that they are doing less work so therefore it should cost less money. That they dont have to pay a guy to come all the way out here and grind up three stumps. At that time she stood firm and said they could send out the stump guy or that youre going to have to pay for a service that wasnt done sir.

When I reached someone the date had been set without notice--I attribute this to Covid and a very busy company working around being out of the office and was not a real issue.

I just cant believe how hard these crews work and do such a wonderful job. They actually clean up after themselves and leave the yard in better condition than when they started. Didnt break one plant or fence slat underneath the humongous oak tree that spanned over four properties.I would HIGHLY recommend Tree Monkeys. Very professional and hard working.

I gave verbal approval to their quote while they were in my yard. As soon as I received the written quote I immediately approved it. I was supposed to hear back from them with a scheduled time, but after two weeks I contacted them because I am installing a pool and needed these trees removed.They gave me a date that was several weeks out and I asked if the pool permits come in soon would they come out sooner so as not to hold up construction. They said they would work with me. The pool permits came in and Tree Monkeys absolutely did not and would not work with me. They caused a two week delay on my pool construction with absolutely no apology.After they took down the trees I had a check waiting for them because I was working so wasn’t able to wait for them. One of the guys told my wife he needed the check made out to him. She had to interrupt me from a meeting, I had to call the company to ask why they needed a check made out to someone other than the company, since the contract stated to make it out to the company and the girl that answered said she knew nothing about that but if it’s the owner asking she can’t override what he says.I had to take more time away from my job to go outside and find out why the guy was asking for a check made out to him. He stepped right into my face like he was going to hit me and yelled that he is the owner, his account was hacked and if I don’t give him a different check he won’t be able to pay his crew.He didn’t give me any ID, I had to ask what his name is for a new check and quite frankly I am still upset about his bullying tactics. I guess I should have bullied them into cutting my trees two weeks sooner, but I like to think I am a much better person than that.They did a fine job taking down the trees but their customer service is the worst and the bullying tactics should be reported.

I had some issues early on with getting them out on the date that they said they could get me in, but after a phone call it was explained that they were backed up because of coronavirus. I definitely would have appreciated a heads up earlier on, but ultimately I understand that things happen and the proof is in the pruning, so to speak. To that end, they did get to trimming the tree in our backyard a few weeks after the original date set, and as far as the work goes, I couldn’t be happier. They came in and got out within an afternoon, were very efficient and cleaned up after as well. Also, the price was certainly less than I had expected to pay. Ultimately I will give them a four out of five, and although my experience around communication wasn’t perfect, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them or use them for future work.

The work is excellent and quickly done. I would give the tree trimmers 5 stars. They are polite, perform as promised, and clean up after themselves. The trees look good when they are done and the job is done timely. I took a star off because the office staff did not call the day before to confirm the appointment and give an approximate arrival time. When I called in the morning to get a time window, I was told they dont call the day before. Since I have been stood up by vendors in the past, i would like a call, text, or email reminder. I definitely will use them again. I recommend them.

Best Service Ever! So where do I even begin... We have 3 large oak trees and 1 small tree we needed removed in our front yard. I was referred to Tree Monkeys through a family member. They offered a free estimate within a day!! They gave me the best quote out of 4 tree removal companies that quoted us. They followed up and were able to schedule the removal within a week of me accepting the quote!! The city denied my permit a few days before the scheduled removal and they had an arborist out to write me a letter and we were able to stay on plan for the tree removal date. They arrived on time on the day of the project and left the yard in pristine condition. The tree removal team was very professional and polite. I had an issue sending payment to them after the project was done through Venmo and they so graciously let me drop off a check the following day. My neighbor claimed a very minor snag in wires from the tree removal because the trees sat in between my yard and hers. Tree Monkeys resolved the issue with my neighbor quickly. I’m so grateful for their service and will recommend them to anyone I know. You don’t find customer service like this anymore!

The key word I would use for this company is trustworthy from beginning to end. I had a fairly tree that needed to be removed, located in a difficult spot. If anything would have gone, the tree would have smashed through my house. They not only successfully removed the tree (and several stumps), they did it efficiently and cleanly. Like the tree was never there, or that they had even done any work. The office is responsive, and the crew was very experienced. I will be using them again, and highly recommend them.

Extremely shoddy company, do not use them. They came to my house unannounced without advising me or calling to set an appointment. Still in my PJs and next thing I see out my back patio slider is 4 men in my backyard with a ladder leaning it against a tree. I frantically ran to get clothes on and ran outside yelling whats going on and how did you get in my backyard. They said they had me scheduled as a job and I told them no one had called to set up an appointment and if they had I wouldve cancelled because I had lost my job 2 weeks prior. They then told me they had leaned over the privacy fence to open the latch in order for them get into my backyard (again without my permission) and by the time they finally left it was pouring rain(so I didnt check the fence at that time). The next day I had a person come out to appraise my property for insurance so I went into the backyard to open the latch for them to get into the backyard and thats when I realized they had broken my privacy fence because the latch for the door is down in the middle of the door. A whole piece of the side panel next to the door was broken completely off of the fence. Extremely Shady Company and Workers that are working for them, that they didnt advise me of what they had done to my fence (again without my permission to even be on my property) while they were talking to me.

A horrible company to work for.(1. the owner doesn’t care about workers Health.instead of using a bobcat or any other machine to pick up hundreds of pounds logs They make the workers pick them up two three people at a time. (2. Gives all easy jobs to his son in order to not wear out his back.(3 has 3-5 trucks running at the same time without a bobcat to help with logs.very greedy ownership Low pay no health insurance. Just a run of the mill tree jokers.that will slave you if you let them.pays certain people that’s on crew more then others will pay you like a duck if you let him.ive worked for several tree companies this was the worst managed all about profit with minimum pay to workers

I got a fair estimate, the office scheduled the day the work will be done. Very friendly and accommodating.A day prior I asked for a time frame. If a certain job takes longer than expected, they let you know., I love that. They come very friendly with all their gear.They put ropes on the HUGE slash pine, one young man even climbed the tree and attached another rope. The wedge gets cut, everybody is in place, the bobcat and all, final cut, the tree falls exactly as intended, They finish it up, Very professional, efficient, a job WELL done.

Tree Monkeys did an awesome job trimming the trees that hung over my screen room. I left for the day when they showed up and came home after they were gone. The yard was immaculate and not a twig left behind! I’d recommend them anyday!

I had Tree Monkeys come out and trim up 2 oaks and 4 palm trees. They did a great job at an affordable price. The crew was very nice and hard working.

This is the second time I have hired Oviedo Tree Monkeys for tree pruning in my backyard in the last few months.The staff in the office is professional and friendly.Their estimator is professional, prompt, honest and reasonable.I cant put into words how impressed I am with their tree climber, Brett. He is such a hard worker and he was very attentive. Chase made sure that I was satisfied with their work before they cleaned up and left, he was also very thorough and friendly.All around it was a great experience from beginning to end and I look forward to doing more business with Oviedo Tree Monkeys.

This company was awesome. I have never had a tree company leave the area cleaner than it was before they started. They were professional and did not waste any time getting the job done. Everything about their work was excellent! The crew worked hard and left my yard cleaner than they found it. And the trees look amazing!!! A few of the larger branches were being cut away over my screen porch and it was done well and without any accidents to the screen! Great job!I gave them 4/5 stars because I found the scheduling process challenging. I had to reschedule the first selected date because I wasn’t available the day they chose. Then for the date of their visit I took the day off of work only to find out I was 3rd in line or so. They came around 1:30 or so and I could’ve only taken a half day. I didn’t mind being later in the day, just would’ve appreciated a heads up. :)All in all, I was happy with the Tree Monkeys crew and would be happy to use them again and would feel comfortable recommending them to others.

After spending 3 thousand dollars to have 3 oaks cut down, I am left with three mounds in my yard. They refused to properly grade them or add top soil as well, they merely plopped down dry sod on the mounds, which will probably die. My HOA required this and I sent Tree Monkeys this message when I updated my quote before the work began which they will claim they do not have. Now my lawn looks like a put-put golf course. Unfortunately I will have to find a contractor to fix this.

Everything from the initial quote, to scheduling and performing the work, and cleaning up afterwards went off without any issues or problems. The crew of four were friendly, professional, and knew what needed to be done and did it. Cleanup was excellent and the cost reasonable. I’ve used their services in the past and will use them again. Ive used them twice. Very Reasonable prices, They came as scheduled, were clean, did excellent work ( 2 trees and stumps removed, 1 Tree trimmed overhanging the house), and dependable.
