This company is literally ONE-OF-A-KIND!! I’ve used them the past 15 years (every 3-5 years) for maintenance. I have 2 monstrous trees in the backyard that require a certain finesse and care. Jonathan uses his artistic arborist skills to make it look as if nothing was even done, the true telling of great tree trimmers! You will marvel at their work upon completion!

Jonathan and his co-workers did stump grinding and trimmed our trees super professionally. They have so many professional equipments and did the job so quick. I would recommend this company to anyone! They did an amazing job cutting down my Mothers tree that got hit by lightning. They had a crane in the front yard and you couldnt tell they were there when they finished! They were very conscientious of the items in the yard and put down plywood as to not put marks or holes in the yard. These are some great people!!!

This was the BEST experience weve ever had with a tree service. They took the time to really examine the best way to trim very large oaks and our elm tree. In the past the tree services weve hired seemed like they cared and then just hacked the trees. Not Jonathan and his team. Everything looks beautiful. I hired Jonathan Stirman Tree Service to remove 2 palm trees in my front yard. They arrived on the date and time as promised, were incredibly polite and professional, removed both trees in a very short period of time and performed an immaculate clean up at the end. Excellent work from bid to completion. Estimator was very knowledgeable about trees and walked property with me during bid. Communication was excellent before and during project. They completed trimming of almost 250 trees in our neighborhood, so no small job. From owner (who is hands-on during the job) to entire crew these guys are top notch. Owner walked the neighborhood with me after they were done to make sure I was satisfied with every tree. Easily the best contractor of any kind our HOA board has hired recently. Highly recommended.

Johnathan and his crew are hands down the best tree service guys in this area. These guys know what they are doing. They are professionals and they get the job done right. They removed 2 huge oak trees which required removal of our fence and putting it back together. They grinded the stumps and removed all of the roots. I was so impressed with Jonathan’s work and attention to detail during our tree removal. He gave us the best price for the job and was responsible in getting all the city permits on time. He followed up with me all the way until the day of the service since we had to wait 30 days for HOA to approve the tree removal. His crew was very professional and respectful. We needed our property cleared for a fence to be put up and several trees cut down. Our surveyor canceled on us the day before Jonathan was to come out, so Jonathan graciously rescheduled. I expected him to push us back at least a week, but he still fit us in his schedule even though we couldnt give him an exact time frame that the survey would be completed. He is an absolute professional and we will definitely use him again.

I called Jonathan Stirman Tree Service yesterday asking for an estimate. Jonathan told me that he would come this morning or this afternoon to give me the estimate because he does that on Wednesdays. I took the entire day off and waited for him to arrive. By 4:30, he still hadnt shown up or called me, so I called him. I left him a voicemail letting him know that I had been waiting for him all day and that it appeared as if he was not coming. Jonathan called me back at 5:55 p.m. without any apology and said that he was finished cutting for the day and would come by now for an estimate. It is now 7:35 p.m. Jonathan literally rang my doorbell 2 minutes ago. When I answered, he asked how I was doing and I politely told him that I had spent the entire day waiting for him and that I didnt like that. His immediate response was, Lets just call it. Then he left. He never apologized. He never even gave me the opportunity to respond. I proceeded to walk back to my computer and write this review. Dont waste your valuable time on this company. Very unprofessional behavior. Use Tree Monkeys.

Jonathan was very professional. We could tell that he really knew his trees from identifying all the ones on our property right away. Great communication through email/phone/texts and had absolutely no problem producing proof of insurance documents. It was pouring rain at some points on the day that the tree removal work was done, but Jonathan & his crew kept on working. The cost was very competitive and fair as well. He even applied for our tree removal permit. I would definitely recommend him for tree removal.

After Irma came through, she left us with a 30ft oak tree that had split three ways down to the roots. Hadnt fallen yet but was hanging on by a thread. They got to us quickly and got it down before we lost our home. Great service all the way around! Thank you.

Just had Jonathan Stirman remove a large oak tree that was planted next to my driveway. Had John stop by the house and give me a verable estimate. John emailed me a copy. When i went back into my house the estimate was already in my inbox. The price was way more reasonable that any of the six other quotes I got. Once I gave him the okay to proceed. John handled the paper work for the permit. As soon as the city approved the removal of the tree, John and his crew were at my house the same day and cut the tree down and removed all of the debris. 4/2018 I have used Jonathan Stirman Tree Service for three projects. The most recent project we had him remove three large trees by our house. He & his crew arrived on schedule and took out the trees leaving nothing behind- stumps were ground out and tree debris removed. His price was lower than the other quotes. He has the skill and experience to get the job done. He is the only tree service I will use.2016 Excellent job! My trees have never looked better. His crew- removed dead limbs, trimmed away from house and removed moss.

This last February, we (my neighbor and I) hired Jonathan Stirman Tree Svc to remove 3 large oak trees from our properties. We made this decision based on business reputation, bid communication, and price after carefully reviewing many different bids. Jonathans company rated well in all three areas, which was later verified in the excellent work performed. We also appreciated his inquiring and getting confirmation beforehand from the Altamonte Springs permitting department that permits werent required for these hurricane-vulnerable type of trees. Finally, one of the nicest things was to come home from work on the final day of removal and not only see the trees removed but to see my front yard and driveway much cleaner then before the project started...very impressive.

I had a massive live oak tree splitting at the base of a main feeder limb. The branches towered 30 ft up above covering over the entire home. If it fell would have caused catastrophic damage. The weight was estimated at 20k+ lbs by 2 tree service companies. I placed 1 nail on each side of the split and measured with a ruler to monitor how fast it was growing. As the split widened the threat was so imminent I didnt stay in the house any longer.Jonathan told me exactly what needed to be done, plus assured me it would be done in about a half day. He also said once through, the cleanup would make it look as if they had never been there. He was true to his word.I could go on and on about Jonathan and the speed, efficiency, and quality of work he and the crew did. I highly recommend him. The price was very competitive; lower than another highly rated competitor. However I wasnt looking for the cheapest. I needed it done immediately and confident the company knew what they were doing.The work was done 7/10/18, 2 days after Jonathan met with me the 1st time. (Im not confident it would have stayed up much longer.)Fyi; my insurance company told me they did not pay for a fallen tree to be removed off the home. Also found out would have cost double the price of what it cost to have it cut down.

Had a tree drop on my house and was precariously perched on the twisted metal that was my pool enclosure. This was not an ordinary job. Despite inclement weather, Jonathan showed up the same day, assessed the situation, and had a huge crane here to help lift the tree off the house safely. No ordinary tree service could pull that off and do it so quickly! Jonathan has a great personality, is very knowledgable, courteous, and careful.
