Needed tree pruning service done with a couple of oak trees and a couple of cedar trees. From start to finish, Kevins Tree Service was efficient and transparent throughout the whole process. During the estimate, they laid out what needs to be done and what was optional. I appreciated them not peddling needless work, unlike other competitors.During the appointment, the entire team was very efficient. The had a wood chipper in place for any branches that needed to be pruned. The cleanup job was great. There was no mess left behind. Most importantly, the trees look great! I had a lot of low lying branches and deadwood in the oak trees. They have been properly removed while having the trees look aesthetically pleasing.The online portal was straightforward and easy to use. Everything from receiving the estimate, invoices, and making the final payment. They even email copies for your records.Will definitely use them again!

Very well equipped and professional. As they did the work they explained exactly what they were doing and why and it made total sense. Even though I was very pleased with the job, I felt that the original estimate was unreasonably high for the actual amount of work it took to do what needed to be done. I told them what I thought would be a fair price and they refunded the difference. Based on this one experience they seem like a stand up outfit, and I would definitely hire them again.

I would give 5 stars but they have yet to show up to remove the stumps. Its been 3 weeks. We have called but get the same reason, we just got our equipment from the repair shop If you own a stump removal business, and your equipment breaks down, you go rent what you need to do the job!!!

I had a few trees in a wooded area, that werent mine, beginning to hang over my back fence line, some even reaching over my lanai. Kevins Tree service was the most cost effective service after shopping around. As you all know FL has its share of tree trimmers and i got quotes from most, so i was very please to find a Kevins to be very affordable. I was expecting 2 guys and a pole hand saw with a tree trailer to haul the large branches away.... But what i got was 4 guys with a woodchipper, one with a pole chain saw, one to clean up debris and one to climb the tree by hand !!!! So impressed with the coordination and level of skill they had to get he job done. The gentlemen even had time to cut some little branches off a small tree they walked by to prevent it from encroaching on my neighbors property that i didnt expect them to do. All and all soooooo glade i found these guys and will continue to use them in the future.

This was the most professional tree service I have ever used. I first met with an arborist who came and made recommendations about which branches needed to be cut down. When the team came to trim everything they were friendly and professional, especially when dealing with difficult neighbors. I was also impressed with all of the safety equipment they used. I called Kevin’s because I read good reviews and they were right. They came out within a few days of my call for a proposal and within 2 weeks to perform the service once I approved. Cost was reasonable compared with other companies, but more importantly and the office staff and field staff I dealt with were all very professional and polite. I highly recommend then!

Amazing. We have a large oak on the curbside of our house. They trimmed it up and thinned it out. They gave it a nice and even shape. They also trimmed and cleaned up 3 very tall Queen palms. All of this work and you couldnt even tell they were here. They cleaned up and left everything better then when they arrived. An outstanding job. Very well done. Thank you.

Our tree had a large broken limb from a storm. The team was able to quickly remove the broken limb and trim the tree so it is less likely to be a problem in the future. They did such a good job that it looks better now than before the storm. We plan to have them come back soon to trim the trees that extend from the conservation area and reach within inches of our home.

The team did a phenomenal job of trimming two trees away from parts of the house. They came on time, worked fairly quickly, and hauled away all of the debris! The yard was totally clean when they left. I would not hesitate to call on them again next time I need tree work done!

Head guy of the crew (can’t remember his name) was great. Very fast and efficient. He didn’t balk at removing a couple spots I noticed needing removed. After they left and I got a better look at what was removed, there were a couple of limbs they should have recognized needed to come down. Depended on the angle you were looking at it so maybe they didn’t see it? I would use them again if the same head guy was coming to do it. I did not price shop so I don’t know how competitive their pricing was and they were backed up a few weeks but that has a lot to do with the season.

We recently had our trees trimmed and pruned by Kevin’s for the 4th time. There is a bit of a process to go through from the initial call for the evaluation quote until your property is actually serviced. It is worth the wait. Unless the crews are backed up due to this business’ popularity as they are very good, or a truck breaks, Kevin’s will be cutting your trees about 4-6 weeks after your first contact request. Logan is knowledgeable and professional, his crew cleans up completely after they finish, and they get it all- you won’t have palm fronds falling down on your lawn 2 weeks after they are booted. It is reassuring to have Kevin’s on your property handling your trees. We are extremely happy with Kevin’s Tree Services. Logan and his team arrive ready to work, they professionally remove growth and limbs and complete all work included in your approved work order, and they clean up every branch and leaf they cut. Logan is highly respectful of your neighbors’ properties and of yours, meaning there are no issues and there is no debris for the homeowner to deal with. We would recommend Kevin’s for any serious homeowner who takes pride in their property.

Nice to work with a company that says what they are going to do and do it and not surprise you with up charges. The estimator called me back quickly and came out to give me estimate at the time he said he was going to come. I choose the limbs that I wanted to cut and since he was an arborist he also suggested a few more that needed to be cut. He gave me a very reasonable price. When I called to get on schedule 2 months later, they honored the price and were actually able to squeeze me in the next day after their 3 other jobs. The crew came out with at least 5 guys, a cherry picker and a chipper and finished the job quickly and left no mess. I was concerned about the 2 large limbs over the house which they were able to cut down using the cherry picker and not touch the house. I am definitely recommending them to my friends.

They were very prompt, worked very efficiently, made certain of which trees I wanted trimmed and how much. As the work progressed, they made sure the trees were looking the way I had wanted them to, making adjustments when needed. When I requested a little additional trimming, they were very accommodating. There was a LOT of debris from 9 very tall palms trimmed to the top, several trees trimmed and shaped, one very large oak trimmed and cleaned out, and much of the work being done while dodging flower beds!! I hired Kevin’s Tree Service three times last year. I split a tree removal with 2 different neighbors and I called them once on my own. During the last tree removal, the tree was dropped on my driveway and broke it up. The lead guy on the job called me over to show it to me and told me that they would be sending someone to fix it. He photographed it. I didn’t hear from them for weeks. So, I called and explained what had happened. I was asked to take photos and email them. I didn’t hear from them so I called again. I was told that they were sending the company that they use to repair concrete over to do an estimate. Never heard from them so called again another 6 to 8 times. I was told that the guy who does the work was in the hospital with coronavirus, that I couldn’t talk to the owner because he was on vacation twice and various other stories. Today I called again and was told that the contract says that they are not liable.

Kevins Tree Service was on time and pruned selected trees for the Church of Christ, meeting at 5410 Lake Howell Road, Winter Park, FL 32792; cleaned up and were gone before I knew it. Advised before-hand; walked the property with one of the Deacons having stewardship of premises to agree on which trees and owner preference, versus best practice in pruning. Employees performed as was expected. May God protect these artisans in a skill-demanding, needful, and at-risk trade. They are our preferred tree service.

Kevins Tree Service was recommended to us by a Sunrise neighbor after a competitor service had given us a bid on a job that we thought a bit high. Kevins Tree Service beat that overpriced bid by more than 40% (KTS charged $1125 for work that a competitor wanted $ 2000!). The crew (5 men) showed up as promised (called 30 minutes early to warn that they were coming), and finished the main part of the job in under 90 minutes. The remaining work (stump grinding) was finished later in the day by a 6th man. All work done as promised, with no problems and the work area cleaned after they finished. We recommend that you check with KTS before overpaying another tree service.

Im a pretty fussy customer and I had a minor issue with their visit this time around, and they were all over getting it right. My trees look better now than theyve looked in a long time. Great crew and job very well done. I used to do tree service with a certified tree surgeon in Virginia. If you do want other plants broken under the tree then I you should explain that you want the limbs roped down instead of dropped. I am sure this will increase the price. Although some of my plant limbs were broken it was not a big deal but may be to others. The crew was awesome and very polite and did a great clean up afterwards. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We had a 6 stump that needed to be removed from the front yard. Kevins Tree Service came out and gave us a prompt estimate, which they honored even thought the work was scheduled months later. The team members who came out to do the work were professional, listened to our specific requests, and explained anything that needed to be clarified about the work. There was a tremendous amount of dirt and tree debris left from the job and they came out and removed it the following day. Again, everyone was friendly, courteous and knew their job. I contacted Kevins Tree Service because of the great reviews. I guess they do a good job if you can get them to show up. I had a 9:00am appointment and at 9:15am I called to make sure the text and email confirmations I received were correct. I was told they were running a little late.I waited until 10am. I received no phone call, text or other communication letting me know when to expect someone. I took time off from work for this appointment. I could not wait any longer. I understand that things happen but having absolutely no communication whatsoever from Kevins Tree Service has left a bad taste in my mouth. Basic courtesy would have been nice.

Front office was very courteous. When an unexpected scheduling issue with my HOA meant that Kevins Tree Service came out to do the job but were not allowed to, they did not charge me any fee for having come out. They waited for me to get things right with the HOA and then rescheduled. When the crew came, they were thorough with the tree trimming and did a good job with the cleanup afterwards. Highly recommended, especially considering the price was very reasonable and lower than other quotes I received.

Kevins Tree Service recently trimmed 4 oak trees at my home property. They arrive exactly on time and did a great job to raise the canopy on these trees. They cleared out many dead branches from the last hurricane. This company does an excellent job to clean up all debris before they left my property. We would definitely use them again.
